I’m seriously thinking of ordering HBO just so I can see Going Clear.
HBO has another doc running right now about Robert Durst. It is a six part documentary. That has been fascinating.
He was raised in a extremely wealthy family, with so much dysfunction. His Durst family, is the one that owns a huge amount of Manhattan real estate. For decades. And death seems to follow Robert around. He has never done any interviews. Until now.
But I am down right excited for the “Going Clear” documentary.
They’ve also got CitizenFour coming up Monday, they’ve got some good stuff going right now.

does anyone know if there is going to be a way for non HBO subscribers to watch Going Clear? Amazon Prime or something, maybe, pretty please?
I think amazon prime does have HBO shows, but I don’t know if that includes just released programs. Another option is to “borrow” someone’s HBO go login info, if you have family or a friend who subscribes.
I’ve heard the Robert Durst one is good. Someday, when I have more time…but I definitely will carve out a little time for Going Clear.

How long is poor Bobbi Kristina going to have to linger on like this? I realize we don’t know the full extent of her condition, but it seems Bobby Brown is going to keep her alive to avoid having to bury her alongside her mom. So sad.
I am genuinely hoping that she’ll pull through. There are little signs of improvement, but they are signs nonetheless. It’s been known to happen. (crossed fingers)

Golly, 1999 had to have been one of the best years for movies. Talk about movies that really stand up. Actually 1994 and 1999 had some of the best movies ever- movies I still love to watch.
Wow. This is a good look for Aquaman. He was always kind of a bland blond in the old comic books. This reincarnation looks like he has some substance.

Over the years, they’ve done periodic drastic changes in the characters and storylines. Believe me, the Aquaman of my youth looked nothing like this !!! These characters have been around for many decades- at least since the 1930s.
