I had no idea he had such a busy private life. I read an article which had an interview of him getting ready to go on his sailboat. Neither his wife nor any female companion was mentioned.

As far as acting, he is one of my favorites.

I think this is just some “trumped” up Enquirer story because of the law suit by the woman involved in the car accident being in the news. The only part they got right is that he’s getting a divorce because he had an affair. The rest is probably fluff and inuenudos.

Also, he and his wife “led separate” lives isn’t true, at least not in the sense that the Enquirer is trying to imply. Morgan Freeman is a highly successful and busy actor and his wife is a busy, successful costume designer and was VERY INVOLVED in his life. “Google” Myrna-Colley Lee and you’ll see that Morgan Freeman and his wife lived anything but the “separate” kind of married life the Enquirer and its “so-called” sources are trying to imply. It just sounds like maybe the last 3-4 years have been problematic.

What I find interesting is that no divorce papers have been filed yet and Myrna has supposedly been gone since December 2007. Yet in 2007 well into 2008, she attended premiers and red carpet events with him. If legally separated, why not just take the mistress?

As for the mistress dumping Morgan. Doubt it. Sounds as if Mr. Freeman was through “milking” that old cow for some time and was looking for a new one.

Either way, Mr. M will bounce back…just a matter of time and with whom. As for being a playa – again, doubt it. And if he is, he’s not very good at it…as most men aren’t. LOL!
