Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger always come out to the Vanity Fair Oscar party, even when Diane hasn’t been asked to present at the Oscars. I like that. I like that they’ve been together so long, they don’t care about being photographed together or any of that nonsense. Diane’s half-dress, half-jumpsuit is Donna Karan. I think this is so blah – we’ve seen much better party looks on Diane in past years.
Here’s Emma Stone’s party look – this is Altuzarra. I don’t like it.
Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo changed out of their matching Armani gear (the red dress) for the VF party. I hate to say it, but I kind of like the nude dress on Behati more than the red.
Monica Lewinsky came to the VF party. Apparently, she befriended Thandie Newton.
Mindy Kaling in Salvador Perez. YAY! I like that she came out to party. Her dress is rather basic, but it’s flattering on her.
Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara. Is it just me or do they have absolutely no chemistry with each other in photos? I would imagine that, in private, there’s a lot of heat and grunting. But in public? It looks like they sort of hate each other.
Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson came out for the VF party too. She looks nice. They look nice together.

Sam looks like FSOG has aged her. She always seemed vibrant, but I think the arguments with whatshername (can’t stand the idea of fanfic, was forced to see the movie and walked out to depressed I went drinking afterwards) stressed her out.

I love the concept of fanfiction. HOWEVER, I loathe the presumptuousness of this *beep* *beep* *beeeeeeep* called EL James to talk of it as her art! Honey, I know 14-year old virgins who write pr0n 10times better plotted and gripping than that trite carraaap that so freaking undeservedly earned you millions. And you can read it on the internet for free!
So yeah, working with her pretty much is stuff from my nightmares. But Sam’s boy-husband really is super-FINE!

I loved Diane’s until I scrolled down. I liked Behati’s red dress better, dislike Sofia’s completely.
Mindy looks great but I wish she hadn’t ombred her gorgeous hair. She’s had it that way at least since Sundance.
I actually like Diane Kruger’s outfit–interesting and it’s so good to see bold color.

Yes! You hit it on the head with Sam. WTF is going on with that??? I usually like her style and crazy dresses but this is a no for me. BUT it would have been cool if she was invited to the ACTUAL Oscars, not just a viewing party given that she is one of the few working female directors who exists and came out with a blockbuster hit just a few weeks ago…

I LOVE Emma’s party dress! So fun, she looks ready to party and celebrate Birdman’s big night. Where is her bearded bf? It would think he would be there to support his lady.

Amy and Sofia’s dresses are similar but not the same. I didn’t like Sofia’s, but I do like Amy’s. Funny since they are kind of similar!
The Taylor- Johnsons, perhaps it’s just these pictures but- they look related. I’ve never noticed that before. Maybe there’s some low-rent GSA going on there. That would explain quite a bit actually.

For some reason I really like that dress on Emma. You have to give her (or her stylist?) credit-she has a cool, vintage thing happening with her recent clothing choices. With the sequin details, the glitter and the Technicolor palette, it’s very flapper-chick-meets-70s-rock-star. Seems like those two styles would be incompatible, but I think Emma with her loose, wavy red hair and bold eye makes it all come together.

I like the nude dress on Behati but I actually like the sparkly red dress better. I like Monica Lewinsky’s dress too- it’s something I would probably wear. It’s dressy and in one of my favorite colors, but the top gives it a slightly casual look so it’s not overly fancy or dressy.
Emma’s dress would be great if it was less saggy and didn’t have the terrible white lace part.

Loved Adam’s wife’s Oscar dress. It was stunning on her. I think I might actually like Emma’s party dress (on her). It looks kind of fun and different, and she looks comfortable.
