Is Prince Harry quietly dating Emma Watson? In a word, no. But we’re still going to talk about it, because some people really want this to happen and they’re trying to force it to happen in the gossip-universe. It all started when an Aussie tabloid called Woman’s Day claimed that the reason Harry hasn’t “moved on” publicly from Cressida Bonas is because he’s trying to keep a new relationship with Emma hush-hush.
After numerous failed relationships, it looks like notorious bachelor Prince Harry has found love with gorgeous Harry Potter star Emma Watson. Woman’s Day can exclusively reveal the pair are having secret dates with each other and are getting to know each other quite well.
When Harry heard she had split from her British rugby player boyfriend Matthew Janney at the end of last year, he called on mutual friends to help him hook up with the actress. He then sent Emma a short email saying that he would “like to get to know her” and invited her out.
Although 12 other friends went along too to make Emma feel a little more comfortable, the pair hit it off!
“Harry didn’t want her to feel like she was put on the spot,” explains one insider. “A party also shows he’s fun and not stuffy. He’s smitten – and it’s more than Emma’s looks.”
The good news is, Emma has already met some of the family! She met Harry’s brother Prince William last year at a cancer charity event and has also met his dad Prince Charles.
Emma was the one to indirectly shoot this rumor down by tweeting this:

She followed that up with this: “also….. marrying a Prince not a prerequisite for being a Princess” and linked to this clip from A Little Princess in which “all little girls are princesses.”
Here’s the thing… I’ll all for setting Prince Harry up on imaginary dates with actresses. But you’ve got to understand his type. You’ve got to make it plausible. Harry is always going to go for Blake Lively type of woman, not the Emma Watson type. You feel me? He likes ‘em blonde with curves. He also likes ‘em a little bit naughty. As for Emma… I’m not sure she really has a type. College-educated sensitive boys, perhaps. And Harry doesn’t fit that description either. So, yeah… this isn’t happening. Frankly, we’re more likely to see Harry with someone like Cara Delevingne.

This was my first thought. How would Kate handle a celebrity SIL who’s outspoken on feminism and global issues? It would be a PR disaster for the Cambridges but great for the UK

Emma is the kind of woman he needs. Smart, independent, but I feel that she is way to good for him.
That’s what I think too – sometimes the type someone dates is different than the type of person they marry!
Assuming they did fall in love and marry, he’d be taken more seriously and she’d get an enormous platform for the issues she believes in, and Will and Kate would look even more like the lazy sods they are. A win-win-win!
Harry and Cara would be so fun. I’m rooting for that.

It would be superb gossip-wise. Kate would flip her sh*t alongside mama Carole for “stealing her thunder” what thunder? Lol. Cressida would flip her sh*t for Harry upgrading and with a *gasp* A lister actress. But yeah, Harry only goes for aristo or uber wealthy blonde chicks who love to party and have a good time.
I can’t imagine this being a good deal for Emma ** at all ** but dayum it would be a treat for the rest of us.

Harry prefers partying blondes. Emma is educated, works, supports serious social causes, & does not need H’s money because she’s earned her own. Net worth about $60,000,000. She has gravitated toward men who display deeper intellectual qualities than Harry has thus far. They might have fun on 1 or 2 dates but it’s hard to envision any deep relationship developing between these 2.
She is way wealthier than Harry. He will have to settle for an upper middle-class social-climbing girl like his brother did.
He was in a relationship with Chelsy Davey for 7 years. She worked hard in school and is now a successful lawyer. Proving it is possible to both date a prince (and sometimes party) and work at school/career at the same time. Middleton partied 4 nights a week for a decade and nothing else.
But Chelsy matured & moved on, didn’t she? Harry hasn’t really grown up yet & maybe never will.
I think WWTW, Invictus Games, and Sentebale show how much he has matured. Does he still have fun, yes. Does he work hard at his charity work? Also yes.

William picked out the costume and goaded his younger brother into wearing it. The shopkeeper gave an interview about it. He also said that William was upset that the shop was out of “native” costumes. William went to the party as a “native” anyway — in his skivvies and draped in furs he’d taken off the furniture at home.
Woman’s Day is one of the worst, along the lines of Life & Style. This is the same Aussie tabloid that insisted multiple times last year that CP Mary of Denmark is being trained as the successor to HM Queen Margrethe.
One of their best, which the royal family had to publicly deny? “It’s official! Our Aussie Queen Mary! Australia’s favourite royal export Princess Mary is expected to be crowned Queen of Denmark. And it could happen any day now. They forget all about the heir to the throne, Frederik, when spinning their tales. To Woman’s Day, Mary will be reigning queen in her own right.
