Cara Delevingne, 22, has been dating St. Vincent, 32, for four months?

vogue uk

Here is the new cover of Vogue UK, featuring Cara Delevingne in the center, Georgia May Jagger and an unrecognizable Suki Waterhouse. I didn’t even realize that was her! It’s because I’m used to seeing her with bangs. Bedhead talked about this cover yesterday too. The cover was shot by Mario Testino and it’s pretty meh. I’ll admit it – Cara is the only one really giving FACE here, and I’m shocked about it. Apparently, Cara, Georgia May and Suki are all BFFs. They all party together and Georgia May and Suki went to school together.

Surprisingly, Cara didn’t walk any of the runways during London Fashion Week. She attended some of the shows and made her dutiful appearances, but she didn’t “work” in the traditional model sense. Some believe Cara is already done with the day-to-day work of being a model, that she’s phasing in some new career options, like acting and singing. She’s already scored some acting roles in movies and she’s allegedly recording with Beyonce. That sounds like such a stupid, made-up rumor, but you never know.

Meanwhile, Cara apparently has a new girlfriend! To be fair, it seems like Cara has a new girlfriend every other week. Cara’s latest is St. Vincent, real name Annie Clark. They’ve been seen canoodling all over London and NYC for several weeks now, and it seems like St. Vincent is making some appearances on Cara’s social media too (which means it’s love). Some British sources claim Cara and St. Vincent have actually been undercover dating for four months, but I doubt that. I’m pretty sure Cara has been dating other people in the past few months and that this St. Vincent thing is relatively new.

Here are pics of Cara and St. Vincent in NYC a week ago. One thing: St. Vincent is 32 years old, Cara is only 22.

Well she definitely doesn’t have a type.

There needs to be a post about Cara and Naomi getting into a physical alternation over Rihanna. It sounds like fan fiction but it may actually be true lol.

  2. Naddie says:

Look at these three. They’re beautiful, but one can’t tell the difference between, they all look the same.
And Cara seems to enjoy older women, she hooked up with Michelle Rodriguez(s) some time ago, which is pretty cool.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

They look like three little girls dressed up in grownup clothes. Well, I guess Suki looks adult, but really, the other two are very pretty but look like children to me. I must be getting old.

  3. Ellie says:

Just listened to a St. Vincent video, and it really reminded me of the FKA twigs video I watched when she started Sparkles — funky in a way that I wanted to like, but just can’t. They also both have, um, quite their own sartorial style, though with Twigs it’s like fetish harness dresses over pants and the lady above looks like she raided my grandma’s closet. All I see with Cara in candids EVER is angry baby, so thanks Kaiser! Always makes me giggle.

    • Tiffany :) says:

St. Vincent is a Berklee School of Music grad. She gets very prog-rock on her guitar and she has some legitimate skills, but definitely not for everyone.

  4. AustenGirl says:

Cara’s arm on Georgia May looks like some weird telescoping appendage protruding from Georgia’s elbow.

  5. GingerCrunch says:

Hideous cover. It makes me shudder.

  6. Rhiley says:

You know you are a beautiful girl when you can pull off those teeth. Being from the south, and having plenty of kin named Bubba and Sissy, there is no way I could have teeth like Georgia May’s, or even have the name Georgia May, without being ridiculed every day for it. But she is a gorgeous young woman. Oh, if only I could have been one of the hundreds of lucky ones to have been born with Mick Jagger’s DNA.

    • Thinker says:

It helped that Georgia May’s mother is a 6 ft. tall gorgeous supermodel…. Not all Mick’s offspring could pull off those teeth. But yeah, she won the genetic lottery.

    • Greek Chic says:

I like her teeth.l’m glad she didn’t have them fixed.
Imperfections are what make you beautiful.

  7. Maya says:

Waiting for the day Cara and Leo D starts dating. We all know that it’s inevitable…

    • Denise says:

It’s rumoured that he tried it but she rejected him. Also, it would have helped if he was Lea, not Leo.

I’m going to sound like a hipster but St. Vincent has been my musical idol and huge girl-crush since 2007 when she released her first CD and I hate to see what she’s turning into. Cara Delevigne, really? Annie used to be one of those singer-songwriters known for their talents not their famewhory ways. She used to perform with no make-up, no fancy clothes, just she, her guitar, her amazingly talented band and I was amazed. She sounded way better live than on the overproduced albums. Not to mention how gorgeous she was. Now she ditched her amazing live band with violin, clarinet, flute for one relying too heavily on electronics, she barely plays the guitar live because she is busy with embarrassing, artsy dance routines. She looks like a shadow of her former self and Cara – the cocaine princess connection might mean drugs are responsible for her weight loss, grey skin and hollowed eyes. Her interviews are now so pretentious and eye-roll inducing, I stopped searching for them. I still like her music, even the new one, but I hope she will come to her senses. Rant over.

You summarized my feelings perfectly. I miss the St. Vincent of even 4 years ago. Annie Clark doesn’t even look like herself anymore.

      • mimif says:

Word. She’s still massively talented, but her new album was so over the top try hard I thought it was Gaga when I heard the first single.

      • TheOriginalTiffany says:

I like her then and now. She’s great and original and still fresh. Imo.

    • Beatrix says:

I loved Annie Clark then and love her now. These recent production choices are still fully her own and even though she has chosen to implement a more visual aspect to her ‘art,’ the music is still of a very high quality and I don’t think that we should always immediately reject musicians who choose to add artistic layers to their performances.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

The direction she’s going in musically feels like a regression to me. Just my opinion.

      • shanaynay says:

I think a lot of the change came after doing an album with David Byrne and touring with him. She wrote her new album right after their tour and put it out. You can hear more brass instruments on her album like with Byrne. I think she’s also trying a bit too hard with her clothes and some interviews where she talks about her favorite (expensive) spots to go to in NYC. Idk. And, yeah, Cara?? Last person on earth I would ever thought she would be with.

      • Tiffany :) says:

I think sometimes musicians who are capable of incredibly skilled work get shamed if they indulge in a more pop-ish sound. I don’t know if that is really fair, though. I can understand where music lovers would want to play a variety of music, not just the most respected forms of music.

  9. donna says:

The age difference doesn’t bother me a bit. Nobody would comment on it if St. Vincent were a 32 yr old man dating a 22 yr old girl.
Just no big deal. Wow Georgia May is pretty.

    • Franca says:

I would. 10 years is a huge age gap when you’re 22, regardless of gender.

Cara has some skills, she seems to seduce anyone she comes in contact with. Wasn’t she with the guy from Unbroken just recently? She was out of his league, to be honest.

    • tealily says:

I agree. That doesn’t seem insane to me. Michelle Rodriguez is older. I’m in my early 30s and while I can’t imagine dating someone in their early 20s, I do have a couple friends that age. Depends on the personalities involved, I guess. That said, they still seem like an odd couple to me.

  10. bns says:

    Love it.

  11. Adrien says:

St. Vincent reminds me of my Auntie. Can’t believe she’s only 32. But she’s so much chicer than Cara.

  12. serena says:

    Wasn’t she dating Jack O’Connell?

By the way, I don’t get all the hype for Suki Waterhouse.. she’s just so bland and ‘meh’.

  13. oops says:

10 years is a lot for me (to go younger) but I totally understand not for others. Regardless, Cara looks like mum just picked her up from field hockey practice after day school. And now they are going to get Pinkberry because Cara got an A on her algebra quiz today.

Oh & that cover? Yah. More than bottles of bleach wearing wedding dresses while eating wonder bread. Yawn.

  14. Nikole says:

I thought St. Vincent was with Carrie Brownstein. If this story is true – DOWNGRADE.

    • DrCAG says:

I, too, read that Annie Clark was with Carrie Brownstein prior to a breakup that may have been related to the latter’s friendship with Taylor Schilling (“OITNB”). But–to be fair–I don’t suppose any of us could categorically say that Cara or Carrie is necessarily “better” as a love interest/hook-up/partner (i.e. more interesting, supportive, talented, attractive, generally not evil) than the other, could we?
