Is Shia LaBeouf engaged to his model girlfriend, Mia Goth?

Shia LaBeouf

Out of morbid curiousity, I often wonder what it’s like to be Shia LaBeouf’s girlfriend. I don’t find him attractive because he’s grubby looking, wears the same pants and boots, etc. Shia’s a method actor to a fault, and he’s had many issues. Imagine getting a phone call about your boyfriend getting arrested after a meltdown or punching a hole in a wall. Shia’s dealing with his demons, but I suspect dating him must be difficult. Behavior aside, the rat tail would be a deal breaker.

We don’t know much about Shia’s current lady, Mia Goth. She’s a model and graces the cover of Vogue Italia (which I’ve included). Mia dabbles in acting. She met Shia on the set of that godforsaken Lars von Trier movie. They’ve been together about two years. Now she’s flashing what looks like an engagement ring. Mia’s worn a large diamond solitare for at least a week, but no one noticed because … rat tail. The Mail has some close-up photos of the ring, which looks nice.

I’d say these two are definitely engaged. Good for them? Mia’s got her work cut out for her, but she must love Shia enough to stick around through his erratic behavior. What’s up with their escalator makeout sessions? So weird.

Shia is part of this contingent of Rich white stars ( see Kristen Stewart and Sparkles in their heyday) that LIKE to dress like someone poor in the 90s… That’s all Ive got

  2. aims says:

He would be a hard person to live with

  3. applapoom says:

He is so weird. Lucky escape for the lovely Carey Mulligan.

  4. Dani2 says:

They just look so dirty and unpleasant, that’s all I got.

  5. Allie says:

Two separate escalator PDAs caught on camera?! What are the odds? Attention seekers, cough cough.

  6. surlymonkey says:

I just can’t get past the fact that she looks like a 14 year old.

For some reason, it makes me feel like I need a shower even more than they do……….

    • gilmore says:

She kinda sounds like one too lol I watched an interview once and she sounded sweet, really calm, like the total opposite from him and it was bizarre to me that they get along.

    • QQ says:

I’ve read that this is part of her appeal for him

  7. amanda says:

man thats a lot of makeup/lighting/photoshop on that cover…she looks a bit…tired in that first picture…shes got the redness on her skin like I do.

maybe her boyfriend made her stay up all night practicing yelling and crying and asking her to try and cut off his rattail so he can defend it, you know, for ART.

    • OSTONE says:

Hahaha @ the rat tail part! 😂

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

I got crucified last time I said this but f*ck it, I’ll say it again: she looks better with makeup. I’m not saying she *should* wear makeup if she’s not comfortable with it–she should do what she wants, but she tends to look really faded/washed out with a bare face. Just my opinion.

      • amanda says:

I have a friend who has a similar face/lips and very light eyebrows. it is different-looking but when i see this girl (besides her reddish skin, which I have so it bugs me on her because it bugs me on me) I think of my friend and how beautiful she is. i think in pictures makeup helps accentuate her features but in real-life I bet she’s not as washed out when she’s doing her day-to-day thing.

      • FingerBinger says:

@TOK She does look better with makeup. She always look like sickly. She looks like she could have been one of those orphans in Oliver Twist.

      • Dani says:

It’s a pretty solid argument Kitten, and I wholeheartedly agree. She needs makeup. At least eyebrows. She looks waaaay better with bangs.

      • FLORC says:

So, she does have eyebrows. Just very light ones?
I did a zoom on a pic of her months ago and I couldn’t see anything.

So….I guess anybody can become a model these days! If I saw these two walking toward me, in a dark alley, I would run the other way…they both look “skanky”!

    • Chem says:

WTF with your comment. She looks very pretty, has very expressive eyes.

      • Chem says:

Also, models should be versatile, like drawing on a paper, so if she looks different with makeup, it’s good.

      • Dani says:

She has expressive eyes? Really? She’s giving me KStew a la Kim Kardashian eye vibes here. So blank.

    • AG-UK says:

I actually thought she was meant to be an actress as they met on that god awful Nymph film by Lars von Trier

    • gilmore says:

Also I don’t get comments like these. when it comes to any unconventional looking model, fyi, not just her specifically. Most models look weird, almost alien like, especially in high fashion too. If she looked like your run of the mill mall girl she would be on a forever 21 catalog, not on the cover of that magazine above.

    • lisa says:

they look like escapees from the nearest hooverville

  9. Blake22 says:

They have matchy mullet hair. I just can’t.

  10. Delta Juliet says:

Enough makeup and expensive clothing and anyone can be a model apparently.

    • Astrid says:

I was about to make the same comment. Never would I have thought she was a model if I saw her in the street looking like she does in these photos

  11. JH says:

    Huh. “Model” girlfriend? Who knew?

  12. EC says:

I recently watched The Tunnel (a BBC show based on a Danish show “The Bridge”, similar to the American show “The Bridge”…jeez that was complicated) and Mia was in it for a few episodes and she looks SO YOUNG. Easily she looks 15. She might actually be 21 but passed for MUCH younger on the show. Therefore, I am grossed out. I also think that Shia is so up and down emotionally that he ain’t ready for marriage, not that this has stopped people before.

    • GossipyMama82 says:

Correct, she’s 21. There’s a lot you’ll put up with from a SO at 21 that you wouldn’t deal with when you’re almost 30. The drama is exciting when you’re so young, but eventually gets tiresome. I think they’ll break up before she’s 25.

Also, I hope Shia pulls it together- he has some serious mental health issues. I was worried he’d kill himself and hope that he finds peace.

    • AG-UK says:

They should stop remaking shows because the original is always better imo. LOVE LOVE The Bridge (Danish/Swedish) Was the Tunnel any good? I see it on Netflix but never can get in to it.

      • EC says:

I enjoyed it, but I only watched it because I couldn’t find a way to watch the original (Danish/Swedish) version. My mom has seen both, and she said the female lead in the Swedish version was far superior and that series is better. So I think if you can’t get into it, you aren’t missing out. I did like seeing Stannis Baratheon (if you are a Game of Thrones person) in another show – he plays the male lead in The Bridge.

But yes, it can be frustrating that they keep remaking great shows, to varying degrees of success. I think the idea for The Tunnel is brilliant and so compelling, and it was relatively easy to translate into other versions (UK/France, US/Mexico). Some people (not me) are VERY turned off by subtitles and wouldn’t watch the original for that reason as well.

  13. kri says:

He looks like he is preparing to take on a film role about the life of Danny McBride.

  14. Greek Chic says:

    Model?? Are you kidding me?

  15. ilovesunnydaze says:

    That chick’s a model? Yeesh!

  16. Mata says:

From the little I’ve seen or heard about her, she’s kind of weird, too. So maybe they’re a perfect couple. I usually don’t think about them much beyond wishing they would invest in some soap.

  17. Jag says:

The PDA are so we’ll notice the ring now. Yes, we notice the ring, Shia. You’re still an unbalanced jerk.

  18. nikzilla says:

Sorry but I don’t get how she’s a model. They do make a perfectly weird couple though.

  19. Crumpet says:

Yet again, we see how important EYEBROWS are.

  20. Woohoowee says:

The first time i read and saw Mia Goth, i couldnt stop thinking how bizzarely beautiful she is. A ‘high fashion’ or editorial kinda beauty. And i have to confess, i used to photoshop some eyebrows onto her pictures (using my phone) just to confirm how pretty she would be with them. She is.

  21. moo says:

    Eyebrows

  22. Lila says:

I can’t read her name without thinking of the Sims…and on that note, there aren’t enough simoleons in the world do make it worth putting up with Shia.

  23. Tammy says:

Whenever I see a story/pictures of these to I have two wonder how his ex feels? He met her on the set of that ‘artistic’ pos movie where he claimed this wasn’t going to happen and it did? It didn’t even happen to me but I feel like I would resent a guy for a long time over something like that.
