This is a photo of Rob Kardashian with Kim in 2009. They look so different! Kim’s butt was smaller than her rack. We haven’t talked about sock mogul Rob in a long time. He turned into a recluse after bailing on the Kimye wedding last May. His family (all except for Kim) and friends worried about him, and he deleted his social media content. We heard Rob was abusing Sizzurp. The guy is a real mess. I do feel bad for him, but I think he’d be as superficial as his family if his ongoing weight struggle didn’t bother him.
Rob and Kim haven’t gotten along in quite some time. Kim is not sympathetic towards Rob and believes he brings down the family name. He probably bailed on her (third) wedding because she bashed his weight. There’s no love lost between them.
Something happened yesterday. Rob seemingly broke his radio silence and Instagrammed a graphic screenshot from the movie Gone Girl. The picture shows a bloodied Amy Dunne and could be considered a spoiler (for the 5 people who haven’t seen the movie). I’m including the photo at the bottom of this post. Rob added the caption, “This is my sister kim , the bitch from Gone Girl,,,” It’s funny. Rob’s comparing Kim to a selfish, sociopathic beast who stops at nothing to achieve her own twisted ideals. But he’s giving Kim too much credit. She’s not an accomplished schemer like Amy. Kim simply made her “movie” at the right time and arrived at the height of selfie madness. The Kardashians are successful for a reason, but they didn’t plan it out.
More male Kardashian news. Scott Disick’s Costa Rican rehab stint will end prematurely. Scott was supposed to stick around for three weeks, but he’s leaving momentarily because his work schedule is so busy.

Oh I wish. I have never watched a single episode of the show (the baby voices saying “literally” were 5 more minutes than I could stand) but I would read a tell all from rob. Don’t think Kim’s smart enough to be Amy but if she was, I guess she really would be a clever mastermind for fooling us this completely.

I was backing the Amy character until she did in the ex-boyfriend, but she was backed up against the wall. He was keeping her prisoner there in a sense. You got the feeling he wasn’t going to let her leave, or be anything other than what he wanted unless she played by his rules. No comparison to Kim. Amy was light years smarter.
It is not even a good comparison. Kim K is incapable of keeping anything a secret, complete opposite of Amy Dunne.
I would never compare her to Dunne because while Dunne was batshit crazy, she was highly intelligent. Kardashian has never put together an even intelligible sentence in her life. And while she may be crazy, she’s an extremely boring crazy person.

I didn’t see the Gone Girl movie but read the book. Before Amy went off the wall, I understood her. She was like a lot of people I know. She even came from the same place.

The relationship between these 2 disturbs me. They genuinely seem to not like each other.

IDK, apparently Ryan Seacrest was the one who sought them out because he wanted to find a whacked out family to film so he could copy “The Osbournes”, and I guess he’s pretty connected. But they definitely have a whole team of PR-advisors, negotiators, writers, etc., I don’t buy that Kris Jenner is some creative mastermind either. Her deal is simply that she’s willing to throw herself under the bus by making herself look like the devil, so the rest of her family looks better and so people will sympathize with them.
@Hautie, IDK if you watch the show, but I shamefully admit that I do and Kim treats Rob like shit and that has been since their first season. Even when she is interviewed and asked about him, she just rolls her eyes, gives some sappy BS about how he is her best friend and then goes off on a tangent that is essentially her saying how she’s perfect and can’t fathom how someone else could just wallow in their sorrows instead of fixing their issues. If anything, her relationship with Rob shows her complete true character and it is awful. “Character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you.”

@hautie : I dont think there’s a shadowy mastermind pulling the strings. I think a few things are at play, though at this point the biggest factor is that the Kardashian/Jenner were early adopters of Twitter and Instagram (they’re platforms to post pictures and promote themselves, of coursw they’d be drawn to it) and have such extensive followings now that companies would kill to be able to communicate directly to. It’s one of the reasons why Kendall is a legit model, because any campaign she’s a part of will be picked up by gossip pages and shared with all of her followers. Hiring her represents a significant amount in free advertising. Same thing with the others, though to a lesser extent. Plus, they’ve never been particularly discerning about what they’ll slap their names on, and that helped to quickly grow their business.
Also, I am very, very skeptical that they are as successful as they’re trying to front. They may sell everything that’s not nailed down and get every freebie possible, but LA is an expensive town and they have very expensive lifestyles.

THIS!!!!!! So hard to believe anything is genuine with this family. They are always “on” and everything they do (& don’t do – ie Scott not completing rehab, khloe not finalizing her divorce etc) is for the show. So sad.
While I definitely believe some things are scripted – does anyone actually believe that these people have some sort of class or dignity that we aren’t privy to that makes it so necessary for them to write scripts for their show? The Kardashian family seems enough like a freak show to me to need little-to-no added fiction. Kris Jenner literally pimps out her own daughters; Kourtney uses Scott as a sperm donor, keeps him on an obsessively short leash and sends him off to rehab anytime he gets drunk; Kim is under 35 and married 3 times; Khloe has her first divorce under her belt at 30 and he was a crackhead; Kylie, at 17, is dating a married man with a child that is way too old for her and has already bought herself a new face and body; Kris Jenner recently tried to leak her own sex tape… The list goes on. When your reality is that trashy, I don’t think there is that much left to script. I think there are deep seated issues in every single person in that family and Rob is a loose cannon. I think people just have difficulty believing that these people really are as awful as they seem.
A fairly recent Blind Gossip item strongly suggested that Rob wasn’t at fat camp or something, but actually in rehab, and that PMK gleefully planned to use this as a “reveal” on the show.

I feel really sorry for him.. I mean, I’m pretty sure he’s got his own issues going on, but he should leave his family and go somewhere far away for a bit. It must be horrible to be a man and try to leave as another sister. It’s clear that PMK doesn’t consider him “valuable”. And it’s his own mother.
Rob’s real fault with his family is that he doesn’t really want to do anything for himself. I think he has resentment because Kris Jenner hooks up all the girls but can’t find a way to make him marketable because you just can’t sell guys the same way you can sell girls. Rob should be the one to walk away from them all to live a normal life, find his own success in the real world and just move on.

I think you’re right Michelle. This is a guy who needs to go out and carve out his way instead of waiting for some crumbs to fall off Kim’s table. Too bad his life is so insulated that he can’t see how to get past them.
My sympathy for him only extends so far. His family is beyond messed up and his mother is a monster who only cares about making money off the family. Sadly, Rob is a product of that environment, so he likely lacks the necessary skills/tools to cope with his perceived adversity.
However, he has a college degree from a very good school (USC, right?), his family is well connected and he has a source of substantial income at his disposal. He could find himself a qualified therapist, get into some serious counselling, leave California and go out on his own. There must be some money there to bankroll him while he tries to find a real job and make his own way. There are lives and careers outside of fame-whoring, self-branded socks, Dancing with the Stars and reality tv. The question is, does he want that?
You have hit the nail on the head, Michelle. He is still relatively young, he should get his own career and get away from his toxic family. I do feel bad for him, his mother is a monster who has pimped out her daughters and he lost his father at a young age. Idk how much of a father figure Bruce was, since he doesn’t seem to be trying to help his youngest daughter escape the claws of PMK, so I don’t know who Rob could turn to. If this isn’t some ratings stunt, i think Rob really doesn’t have anyone to turn to. His father passed away and look at the rest of his family. I have trouble connecting with my mom as it is, i can’t even imagine if she was Kris effing Jenner. Poor guy needs a ton of help.

I am not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, I feel bad for Rob because he must be hurting a lot. OTOH, that is a pretty low thing to do to a sister. Then again, this family has no boundaries, so I guess he is entitled to express himself.
I’m not knocking him for the Instagram post. Fortunately, none of us know what it is like to have a family that is only interested in you if you can make them money. We all laughingly call Kris Jenner a pimp on here but she legitimately is. I’ve seen episodes of their show where Kim was absolutely vicious toward Rob-a lot nastier to him than she ever is when she fights with her sisters and I don’t buy that it is scripted. He didn’t go to her wedding, and now that he acts like he has a legitimate emotional issue, Kim talks about him in interviews like he is a hassle and nuisance for her and her mother and chalks that up to her being a “tough love” kind of person. Rob can’t garner attention, fame and fortune the way the girls in this family can so he is forgotten about and his obesity has become the basis of a plot line for his family. I remember reading years ago that he planned on becoming a lawyer like his dad and had already finished undergrad. If he had any brains, he should try to go to law school and just say “fuck these people” and move on.

There have been rumors about Rob having a dependency on pills and that stupid “lean” drink, but it always gets swept under the rug somehow. I really don’t understand why, but the Kardashian Klan seems to have psychotic issues with men; they don’t respect them and chew them up and spit them out, it’s as if they see them as sub-human or something. I think Kim is cruel to Rob because when it comes to men in the lives of Kardashian women, they’re disposable, and even though Rob is her brother, Kim can’t decipher the difference between the two. If Rob were a husband or boyfriend, Kim would’ve divorced him/cut him off by now but they’re tied together by a bloodline so she’ll just roll her eyes and talk about him like a disobedient dog in interviews.

If he is doing this for real then yeah for him for calling Kimmode out for what she is. If it is a trick for ratings well it is sad. Kris has her PR people out on this already with Kim sharing old photos of North hoping everyone will look at North and forget about Rob. But the kid is younger in the pictures and anyone who’s had a kid can tell. What a sad family these people make. They will do anything for money including turning on each other it seems.
I feel sorry for Rob in some aspects. As a tween I gained weight with the onset of puberty and was teased about it. So I understand how he feels in that respect. But he is a grown man and if he truly wanted to get away from this family he could. I wonder how much he is paid to keep his mouth shut. He doesn’t hold a job (don’t know how his socks are doing) so money has to be coming from somewhere. Also on one of the other sites (think TMZ), he unfollowed his family on instagram and then promptly followed them again. So I’m wondering how much of this is for publicity since their show is not doing so well.
I think I feel sorry for Rob. I can’t imagine being a member of a family that only wants to bother with you if they can try to sell you. Kris Jenner really is a pimp. When Rob was thin, they had no problem parading him all over; now he is a storyline for their show. “Rob is so fat, if he doesn’t lose weight he’s going to get diabetes and die” was actually a big dramatic segment of their show once, another time it was Khloe being really concerned about him and trying to talk to call him from Thailand while no one else acted like they cared. I watch the show, and there was an episode where he visited a doctor and broke down crying hysterically about being unhappy and I truly felt sorry for him, especially since his family doesn’t seem to give a shit. I think that episode is the reason that he refused to sign another contract with the show. Rob doesn’t appear on the show at all anymore so he stands to gain nothing from this. I don’t think as much of the show is scripted as a lot of people claim. I think these people are fucked up enough to just air out their dirty laundry and to have a ton of it. You really can’t make up the shit going on in this trashy family.
Even if it was scripted, you’d have to be fundamentally messed up to portray yourself and your family in this way. But I also think this is a case of ‘what you see is what you get’.
@Denise, I totally agree. These people are truly the dregs of society. I think a lot of people think that so much of it is made up and scripted because it’s hard to believe that a group of people could really be this vapid and shameless, but they are.
Yes, you can make this stuff up and you can magnify and exaggerate it for “dramatic effect.” I understand how tempting it is to believe they are pedaling themselves on camera but the show is fake, the family is fake, the drama is fake. Yes, they are screwed up, vapid people with the morals of a pack of coyotes but their show is pure fiction.

Because Kim is a vapid, flagrant attention seeker with no discernable talent we applaud her brother for calling her a bitch on social media? If this is a ratings stunt then so be it but if Rob is as troubled as I suspect he may be then this is disturbing and bodes poorly for his mental hygiene. When Tim Gunn made a negative comment about Miley Cyrus even her detractors here called him out for being disparaging towards a female. Our glee over Rob’s comment says more about us than it does about Kim, deserved or not.

I have to admit that I hate-watch the show and I think this was legit. If there are any storylines that I believe to be true on their show, I think tension between Kim and Rob, and occasional tension between Kim and Kourtney are both true. Kim has been really vicious toward Rob on more than one occasion. Siblings fight, but Kim takes it to another level; there was one episode in particular when Rob first began showing blatant signs that something was going on emotionally with him and he started crying and Kim got in his face and was telling him how pathetic he was and how he needed to get a job and be a man, etc etc, and he just sat there looking devastated and took it. Kardashian women seem to think men are punching bags which is why they chew them up and spit them out. They treat Rob like shit because they can’t find a way to make him lucrative, so they just act like he doesn’t exist or act really mean to him. I think he is totally going to spill all the secrets someday, LOL.
I remember watching this episode and watching her rip him to shreds and he just took it. Horrible.

Isn’t that a horrible shame? It really is no wonder at all that Rob is such a mess now. When did he ever have a chance to be anything but? He lost his dad at a young age and hasn’t had a stable male figure in his life since. His family is run by a group of soulless women who are bred to sell themselves for fame and profit, and all seem to share the same f—ed up mindset that men are disposable. Khloe seems to be the only member of the family with genuine concern for him, which is why he lived with her and Lamar and why Lamar took Rob under his wing. I really feel sorry for Rob, just as I feel sorry for every other man who has been intertwined with these women.
I think his sister Kourtney cares. She and Khloe were the only ones worried about him during that family counseling bit. Kourtney is probably not as close to him because of the big age difference , so Khloe (who is close in age to Rob) takes the lead in actively helping him. Kourtney is more focused on her kids and Scott, so Khloe has a better setup for dealing with Rob anyway and very likely appreciates the company if he’s still living with her. The only pathological ones in the family are really Kim and Demon Mother Kris Jenner. Those two just loom so large it’s hard to remember that any problems of the others are minor in comparison. Khloe, Kourtney, and Rob have a normal set of human emotions, regardless of any other issues they may have. Kim and Demon Mother are emotionally deficient and go through life merrily causing havoc and pain as a result. Not sure what the proper diagnosis is for them, but my first guess would be the malignant end of the narcissistic personality disorder spectrum. As the Golden Child of a narcissistic mother, Kim would have been at great risk of developing the same disorder. All her selfies even fit the Greek myth of Narcissus falling in love with his own reflection…

She looks completely different now compared to that header photo. She should have left herself alone. She looks 10 years older than that pic which was taken only a few years ago.

A lifelong friend of Kim’s recently came out and said that her and Kim have both been dieting since they were like 11 years old, so who is Kim to judge anyone for their weight issue?!
Are you kidding me?!?! EVERYTHING this family does is for PUBLICITY!!! When will the rest of the world realize that NOTHING is real and it’s ALL done for PUBLICITY!? He got the script and that’s what it said to do. Period. Now we will read about their new and “twisted” relationship – just what they need to boost sagging rating. There is not bad publicity – WAKE UP PEOPLE!
They are all revolting and I’m sure the ratings people are sitting around evaluating how much attention this ploy will garner. If enough, then a giant feud between Rob and Old Whatshername will erupt, generating millions for the family. But, the best part is that Rob will finally have his place in the family and a way in which he can be used to generate money. Then, the world will explode and it will be the human races own bloody fault for watching this crap in the first place.
despite the truth to the statement, I think he has some servere mental health /substance abuse issues and I am just wondering when we’ll hear that something terrible’s happened to him. It seems like the family doens’t care or has washed their hands of him or whatever but we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. And some people don’t want to be helped and so it’s easeir to just say good riddance. Either way, this is not normal behavior, and whether you like Kim or not, it’s pretty disguting. Plus the picture is GRRROOSSSS

I think their lives are so public…for him and his family to constantly post their lives publicly is very normal for them. I think he did this as a funny comparison…with some truth behind it. Only he knows his sister better than anyone. Anyway..it made me laugh.

Maybe we’re reading too much into a joke on Instagram. Kim has always been quite public with her disdain for her brother, on the show and in interviews. Making a public dig at her isn’t really a sign that he’s off the rails. He didn’t publish a rant, just made a one line joke that is a little too true. That’s pretty restrained.
I saw that clip from a recent show, where Kim apparently wanted her sister Kourtney to appear in the Glu “Kim” game, Kourtney didn’t want to do it, and Kim seemed to think Kourtney owed her a favor since Kim “bought her a career”. (Gee, wasn’t Kourtney the one who was actually running their store way back in the beginning while Kim would just waltz in periodically and do nothing? I think Kourtney already had a career.) Anyway, Kim was even more awful than I remembered in that clip. I also remember some bits I saw where she was awful to her fiancé and then husband Kris Humphries before she ran off with Kanye. I don’t know why some people think she’s harmless and “sweet”. She really isn’t to the people closest to her, she puts on the nice act for strangers and people she is trying to manipulate into getting her something. An older sibling can do a lot of damage to a younger one with just their words so I’m sure Rob has plenty of scars. And Kim’s body language with her daughter is downright disturbing. I honestly think Kim resents Nori as an aggravating complication in her life (now that it’s obvious the child is not a toy doll that always acts as expected) and doesn’t really like her. I doubt that the relationship will improve as Nori becomes more and more obviously an independent person, unless by some miracle Nori grows to worship the ground Kim walks on and becomes perfectly compliant to Kim’s every fantasy. People like Kim are not harmless at all.

I think that as adults we need to recognize that after a certain point in our lives we can’t keep blaming our families for whatever we think they did or what they actually did to us. Take an EQ test and work things out with a professional. Granted, him getting a respectable job from all this mayhem is going to be hard. But, he should consider leaving them all and doing things for himself. (I don’t watch the show, so who knows maybe it already was a plot / line.)
