LeAnn Rimes advocates for bikinis, embracing & accepting your stretch marks

FFN_Rimes_LeAnn_VAH_041115_51707017

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes at LAX on Saturday. She looks like she’s about to go to Coachella, right? That was what I assumed, but nope – she was heading off to perform at (this is not a joke) the Gold Country Casino in Oroville, California. Shockingly, while she complained about it on Twitter, LeAnn didn’t invent some mysterious ailment to get out of performing. Shocking, I know.

Unfortunately for LeAnn, she had to leave Eddie and her stepsons behind. They had been enjoying a Spring Break holiday which involved LeAnn posting tons of Instagrams, of course. One of them drew special attention:

#boating #braids #veryhappychick @acaciaswimwear @naominewirth @lyndieirons #family #springbreak2015

A photo posted by LeAnn Rimes Cibrian (@leannrimes) on

It took me a second to figure out what we were supposed to be looking at. I think LeAnn posted it so we could look at her body (obviously), but the lighting drew attention to her stretch marks. Personally, I don’t give a crap about stretch marks – some women get them, some blessed people don’t. I would never “bully” LeAnn or anyone else for their stretch marks because it’s not something that can be helped (something that can helped = a terrible boob job). As you can see on the above IG, LeAnn posted the photo with a bunch of hashtags and then she wrote to her fans: “They don’t cover it all but (no pun intended) it doesn’t look good on women when you have too much material. I hope to help all women embrace their bodies and be proud of their curves, stretch marks…. Whatever! (Stretch marks I have) To have a ‘bikini body’ you must put a bikini on your body!!”

LeAnn has talked about her stretch marks before – go here to read. Eh. I mean, good for her and good for body-positivity. I guess this is LeAnn’s “fight” now: she’s an advocate for stretch marks. And bikinis.

Could she use any more hashtags?

    • Esmom says:

I’m proud to say I have never used one! Except when entering the pound sign when I refill my Rxs, and I don’t think that qualifies. 🙂

      • crab says:

Omg I hate hashtags! I wish they would just hurry up and die already!

      • whipmyhair says:

I like to use them like this: “such a beautiful day! HashtagBlessed
And then wait for people to tell me I’m doing it wrong. Once a smartarse always a smartarse.

      • Blackcat says:

I’ve never used one either. I think they’re embarrassing and ridiculous-much like La Leann.

    • Rhiley says:

      I read your comment in Chandler Bing’s voice. #90s #hahafriends #sweatervests #goingcommando #centralperk #besties #foosball #dogstatute #rentcontrol #sneakers #duckandchickforever

    • LAK says:

I think some of those hashtags are shilling commercial companies.

It’s something I’ve noticed she’s doing more and more. Inbetween the #hashtags about unicorns, there is one or two of commercial companies that helpfully supplied whatever she’s shilling. In the case above it’s acacia swimwear.

      • Kitten says:

        Lohan does the same sh*t.

      • hazeldazel says:

that’s because they’re getting paid to promote the brand. A lot of low level ‘celebrities’ make extra bucks doing that.

      • paleokifaru says:

I have to ask…do they really think anything Lohan or Leanna HELPS them sell anything? I would love to see the numbers on that.

    • doofus says:

GNAT, have you seen the skit with Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake where EVERYTHING they say is “hashtag *insert word here*”?

      perfectly sums up the ridiculousness.

  2. Maya says:

Couldn’t she be an advocate for shut up, no more Instagram or Twitter feeds???

  3. Karen says:

Didnt crissy teigan do this the other day? (swf stalking again?) But you know crissys pic was more close up of her actual stretch marks (i don’t see any on leann or the hashtag bloat)… stretch marks are natural they’re on both men and women. They’re not gross it just means you grew semi-quickly at one point in your life. Hello puberty!

Any one who bullies over them is a sad person.

    • CharlotteCharlotte says:

Yep, Chrissy posted her bruised thighs and drew attention to her stretch marks.

    • aaa says:

Leann instagramed the stretch mark picture almost a week ago and Chrissy instagramed the “stretchies” picture yesterday.

  4. Sunshine says:

Leann sounds a little hypocritical here “hope to help all women embrace their bodies and be proud of their curves, stretch marks whatever”….Leann your body was completely FINE before you met Ed and now you completely change your looks and body to keep Ed (not to mention living off laxatives) and compete with his mistresses. Ed will get bored with you no matter how hard you try.

    • Esmom says:

Not to mention who wears a swimsuit and poses like that when out with young kids?

      • Catk says:

Crap, I’m supposed to wear a full-coverage wetsuit when out on a boat with my 4 kids? What will I do with my 30+ bikinis? No one told me I wasn’t supposed to wear a bikini around the (gasp) children! wtf.

      • MrsB says:

CatK, I’m fairly certain that Esmom was referring to Leann posing seductively…not about the bikini. If you go out with your 4 kids and pose like that while somebody takes your picture, then Lord help you.

      • Esmom says:

Yes, I meant the thong aspect of the bikini and the pose, sorry I was typing too fast. Call me crazy but while a bikini is fine I don’t think bare ass cheeks are appropriate around tween boys.

      • doofus says:

and that pose she’s making…sorry to be graphic, but that is what an animal in heat does to “invite” another animal…um….IN, if you catch my drift.

      • briargal says:

Anyone else starting to get creepy pedo feeling whenever she is around young boys?? Seems like she not only wears very inappropriate things around them but does the provacative poses around them too. She needs to act her biologically age and not her emotional age.

      • JenniferJustice says:

Doofus – the pose and what it represents – remember Clan of the Cave Bear with Darryl Hannah! um….yah.

      • funcakes says:

        @jennifer justice
I remember that scene. It was disturbing to say the least. 🙂

      • jenn12 says:

1st of all, the kids are yours and it’s a different dynamic. Leann is not their mom and it adds a creepy dimension to it. During the ice challenge, she had them pour ice water on her and she was wearing a skimpy tank top. You can hear the boys yelling, “Breasts! Breasts!” You wouldn’t say that to your own mom (though they could’ve just yelled, “Silicone!”). A bikini is fine; a thong is not, and her pose is come-hither, which is creepy in front of any kids, but especially your own stepkids. She covers up for the airport, but not around tween boys?

      • Franca says:

You’d probabyl be shocked around all the topless women on the beaches across Europe.

      • Bridget says:

Why does anyone need (or want) 30+ bikinis? That’s literally a different one to wear every single day for a month, and then some left over. Or is that just a normal warm weather place thing?

      • paleokifaru says:

I think this is a blurry area that a lot of people have different rules about. As someone downthread wrote Leann is simultaneously bashed for wearing the same bikinis as Brandi (who also wears them around the kids) and wearing bikinis in front of the boys at all. Personally, I am careful with my swimsuits and clothes. It took me over 3 years of knowing my SS to wear a two piece around him and even then it’s full coverage and I only do it if my one piece is being washed. I don’t think being a parent or stepparent should rob you of your style or the ability to be sexy. I do think tastefulness should always be a priority though and especially when you’re dealing with kids of the opposite sex who are not biologically yours you need to be careful. I wanted to make sure SS only thought of me as a parental figure first and frankly there have also been issues with his mom accusing everyone under the sun on my husband’s side of some sexual misconduct. That’s actually common in divorce, sadly. I also make sure my pajamas are appropriate and I am even more careful about my clothes if he has friends over. It’s just kind of common sense to me. That said, both Brandi and Leann dress in a way that I find inappropriate period most of the time or least a bit tasteless. So it seems like the boys are kind of constantly exposed to overly sexed outfits.

  5. Stephanie says:

OMG with the fringe and the fug booties!

  6. CharlotteCharlotte says:

LeAnn claims that Eddie did go with her. The pic of him tearing out of there is apparently, according to her, him going off in search of a park before coming back and joining her. And she posted a pic that’s an obvious selfie and captioned it ‘Photos by Eddie’. Every time someone called her on it, she either replied doubling down on it being Eddie who took the pic, or deleted the comment. I think the people she replied to are people she knows to otherwise be fans, so even they called her out.

    • funcakes says:

That picture of Eddie burning rubber to leave the airport is hilarious! It looks as though he left a couple of feet from the curb so he could peel out fast. I honestly feared that Eddie was going to accidentally hit her with the car.

Leann did tweet that he was parking the car. But like usual with Leann we have no way of knowing if it’s true.

      • briargal says:

If she tweeted it or said it—it’s a lie plain and simple. She doesn’t know how to tell the truth!

    • littlestar says:

That photo was just the saddest thing ever. It was obviously a selfie she took of herself standing in front of a mirror. Hello Leann! We can see the phone’s reflection in the bottom of the mirror! If Eddie actually took a picture of her, someone was taking a picture of Eddiot taking a picture of Leann, because how else then would you explain the phone in the picture?!

      Gah!

      • barbarita says:

Thank you littlestar, that pic has been bugging me too. The phone screen is facing her, selfie! Any one that profusely declares happiness and #hothubby is trying to convince themselves more than others. Her fans amaze me, believing her farce.

  7. NewWester says:

Interesting that Eddie dropped her off( he is in the white suv) but there were no over the top goodbye scene or goodbye photo taken. Maybe Eddie had things (or people) to do?

  8. WHERE THE F ARE HER STRETCH MARKS!!! OMFG!!

    • bettyrose says:

You have to uber magnify your screen and put your face up against it, just as the bikini police would as they roam with giant magnifying glasses and no boundAries, seeking microscopic imperfections.

    • kate says:

Above her hips and on the side of her thigh. Same place as mine

      • Erinn says:

I have some silvery ones there too. The only ones I’m really self conscious about are the ones on my biceps. And my dad has them too. We bulk up quick if we start weight lifting or anything like that, and apparently don’t have the greatest skin elasticity.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

I have some like that. My skin hates me, lol. I put on any amount of weight, and they start……I got a lot on my hips, etc when I actually grew (and I stopped growing at like 12)….

    • claire says:

She’s got tons and you can see them well in some pics. Honestly, who cares. I generally assumed they were from her yo-yo dieting.

    • Wren says:

I had to squint to see them too.

Why in the world are stretch marks even a thing? Omg, your skin isn’t one perfect color all over and perhaps has some marks and lines! The horror. I’ve got plenty of them and, well, they’re just kind of there and I don’t think much about them. Can’t hate on her for that.

  9. Shambles says:

It’s kinda hilarious thay she sees herself as some kind of role model/spokesperson for body positivity as she try-hard poses with her tummy sucked in and her booty ‘tooched out (thank you Tyra). The delusion is strong with this one.

    • Kitten says:

      +1.

      • paleokifaru says:

I agree with Kitten’s description but even that can take “body positive” into screaming narcissism. Think Honoria Baldwin…

    • shizwhat says:

So body positivity means what then? Standing around in some crocks and your boyfriend’s hoodie?

      • Tifygodess says:

@shizwhat It defeats the purpose to suck in your tummy as hard as you can when on the same hand you are saying accept your body for what it is…..

      • Shambles says:

@shizwhat, body positivity is whatever you want it to be. If someone feels beautiful standing around in crocs and a bf’s hoodie (I know I do), then hell yeah. And, I guess, if posing like this makes Leann feel beautiful, ok then. What I meant by my comment, in snarkier words, was that I would be much more open to receiving a message of body positivity from someone who wasn’t posing in a clearly unnatural and uncomfortable position to make her body look more like the typically “desirable” body type. No shade to those celebitches with flat tummies and perky butts, but that is the beauty standard that a lot of women feel pressure to ascribe to. I would rather get my body positivity from someone like Amber Rose, who posted a paparazzi photo of her booty with some cellulite and said something like “beautiful babies give you beautiful dimples.”

      • Kitten says:

To me, the most effective messages of body positivity shows the body actually doing something, i.e. a sport, yoga, dancing, whatever. I just think the message that our bodies actually function and can do amazing things beyond just looking pretty to be more effective and inspirational than “look at my body posing seductively in a bikini”.

        *shrugs*

      • doofus says:

what body positivity DOESN’T mean is extreme dieting (laxatives and adderall) and circus-boob implants to try to get a body like your man’s ex-wife.

kinda defeats the purpose of “be happy in your own skin”.

body positivity is never a bad thing but it comes off as kinda disingenuous when it comes from a source like this.

      • Senaber says:

I hope it does mean schlepping around in hoodies and crocs, ’cause if so I’m doing it riiiiight.

    • Nina says:

Oh lord! I don’t think lee ann is the greatest advocate for healthy body image, but does anyone NOT try to show themselves to their greatest advantage in pictures? Pointing to not letting her stomach hang out is just petty. I love myself but I still know my angles, as does she. Although her posing is admittedly odd.

      • Shambles says:

I see a difference between knowing the angles at which your body looks the best in photos and deliberately arching your back and sticking out your butt. If that’s what she wants to do with her time, go Leann. What I want to do with my time is point out that she looks very try-hard doing it. Maybe it is petty, but if I had a life, why would I be here? 😉

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Shambles, I don’t think you’re being petty. I get it. She’s saying accept yourself as you are, in spite of any flaws, just like I do, while trying to appear exactly like the unrealistic model standard we are all supposed to aspire to. It a subtle thing, and some people just don’t get subtle, but I think you have a good point.

      • Nina says:

Really GNAT can you be any more rude; not sharing your opinion does not make me obtuse.

And if you had read my comment, you would have noticed that I specifically called her out on her ridiculous pose, but I stated that simply trying to hide what one perceives as a flaw does not mean that you are anti-healthy body image.

But feel free to think you are the one one who “gets it” since the rest of us must just be simpletons.

  10. Greek chic says:

I don’t like Leann but her stretch marks are not that visible. In fact I wouldn’t have noticed them if it wasn’t posted in the article.

Is there anyone that doesn’t have stretch marks? I got mine at puberty when my height increased in a short time. They are not obvious but they exist.

    • Esmom says:

I’m closer to 50 than 40 now but I actually don’t. Although I have plenty of other “problematic” flaws like cellulite. I think the things manifest themselves differently depending on the type/thickness of skin you have.

But you’re right in that everyone has something that now tends to be airbrushed out of existence in photos and creates the illusion that perfect, flawless bodies are the ideal. Sad.

      • Greek chic says:

You are lucky! I have a few in my inner thighs but they are not red so they don’t bother me.

      • Esmom says:

Thanks, but I think the grass is always greener because stretch marks are more appealing to me than cellulite! 🙂

    • Delta Juliet says:

Same here. 40, been pregnant twice, no stretch marks. I do have cellulite, uneven skin tone, sun damage and anything else you can think of, but no stretch marks haha

    • maeliz says:

I didn’t realize she had them in the picture because the way the shade is on her. No big deal.
I hit a growth spurt at 18 and grew 3 inches, got hips and strech marks. At 36, I now also have cellulite but weigh 107. Natural things happen

    • claire says:

I don’t have stretch marks, no. I think it just comes down to genetics and experience (as in, pregnancy).

      • Jayna says:

I think it’s genetics more than anything. My sister-in-law had one child and developed a lot of stretch marks, and she didn’t gain much weight at all. She was naturally very big busted, so had a few there before pregnancy, but during pregnancy they were everywhere, hips and boobs.

    • Jayna says:

I don’t have stretch marks, not even one.

    • someone says:

My 12 year old has stretch marks, on her thighs and on her breasts. I hope she never realizes that some people find them “bad”. Right now she is oblivious.

      • Dragonlady Sakura says:

Tell your daughter she’s lovely every chance you can. I got stretch marks when I hit puberty and kids were relentlessly cruel about it. I couldn’t (refused to) wear shorts or dresses because of it. Luckily I had cool friends and terrific family members who loved me for me. Now when people comment about them, I joke I’m part tiger.

  11. Jayna says:

There’s a lot to make fun about LeAnn that she brings on, but all of the comments about her stretch marks I’ve seen just make the poster look bad. I never even noticed her stretch marks until I saw some nasty comments. Those comment don’t just put LeAnn down. They are insulting the women who have stretch marks and wear bikinis.

    • klein says:

The least offensive thing about her is her stretch marks.

I’m not surprised she’s drawing attention to them, they’re the most endearing thing about her because we all have them to some degree or another.

    • kara says:

She pointed them out for some reason. All I read is people saying they didn’t notice and joking about their own like they know it’s a common thing. Nobody has been insulting women who have them and wear bikinis.
I didn’t notice hers. I have my own at 40, and have no shame being in a bikini

      • Jayna says:

I have read for a couple of years nasty comments about her stretch marks, making fun of her.

      • Lady D says:

I have too Jayna, and they kind of piss me off. It’s like having freckles or a birthmark, something you have no control over. It’s unfair to make fun of someone for things like this.

    • julia says:

Jayna I’ve always seen comments over the years about her only wearing bikinis. Lots of pictures of her almost naked in them around Eddies kids is what I heard insulting about.

If you don’t have any stretch marks yourself and I do, oh well. They’re nothing to cry about anyway

      • someone says:

It’s funny how on one hand she is blasted for copying Brandi’s bikinis (which Brandi wears around her sons) and then on the other hand she’s criticized for wearing skimpy bikinis around the boys. As Brandi would say – “double standards”.

  12. Isa says:

I know she has them but I can’t even tell in that photo.
My 9 lb 6 oz baby gave me mine. Thanks kid. 😒 my husband has some too and I don’t think he ever noticed.

  13. Irip says:

I just loooove how she’s confident enough to parade in a thong bikini in front of two teenage/tween boys, who are not even her children (although I’m sure she’ll prove me wrong). Throw in there a couple of “school-girl” braids and she probably thinks she’s able to pass as their hot, slightly older sister, the subject of the boys’ friends’ wet dreams of some sort.

    • claire says:

LOL. But according to her, that bikini bottom, with a strip going up her crack, is NOT a thong. Who knows then what she thinks an actual thong is?

    • JenniferJustice says:

Dear God! Please don’t tell me she wears thong bikinis with the boys in tow. So, two impressionable young boys have to look at her strutting around with her butt cheeks hanging out?! Seriously, that is just gross! I swear that woman has no sense of decency.

      #childrenshouldnothavetowitnesstheirstepmothersdesperation#

      • SmellyCat says:

Haven’t you seen the pic where she is leaned all over the little one to kiss Ed, and her cooch was right in the little guys face. She needs to grow up and learn some decency!

      • jenn12 says:

Or the one where she’s bent over the little one in short shorts? Or when she and EC have the boys dumping ice water on her while she’s wearing a skimpy tank top?

      • paleokifaru says:

There’s a lot of inappropriate behavior. That said I think maybe a lot of the sexuality the boys are exposed to is in both houses. Weren’t their threesomes during the marriage to Brandi too and she wrote about it and surely the boys have seen or have access to that info? Add the tiny clothes she wears and I think the boys are hyper exposed.

Different families have different comfort levels with clothes, sexuality, being physically affectionate, etc. People aren’t wrong to side eye but it’s a tricky situation in a lot of marriages to blend those levels.

It is hard to be the wife but not mom. You’re less comfortable in your own home because you have to act like you’re the intruder. Not that Leann acts like that but I am sometimes a wee bit jealous of the delusion because it must be nice to feel that comfortable.

      • jenn12 says:

Brandi did write about 3somes, and I don’t agree with it. Photos I’ve seen show her in tiny clothing (that Oscar dress was hideous) when her sons aren’t there, but they do have access to it, and she should be more mindful of it. However, Eddie and Leann had the paps photographing them on the balcony with family friends and Leann and the female friend were taking off their clothing and making out while Eddie photographed it and all the kids were inside. It’s that pushing of the boundaries that is harmful. Eddie and Leann were photographed at the boys’ games making out and groping each other, and that’s inappropriate in front of any children. There are photos of them on the beach when the separation was new, and Leann had hold of Eddie’s crotch as the boys looked on. And during the ice bucket challenge this summer, Eddie had the boys dumping ice water on Leann while she is scantily clad and you can hear the boys yelling, “Breasties!” You don’t see your own mom that way; you just don’t. You shouldn’t feel like an intruder in your own home, but there is a line you have to be careful with crossing and a middle ground you have to find. You’re more of an aunt/uncle than a parent, or at least that’s what I’ve seen in a lot of stepfamilies. Leann has shown that she has a lot of problems with boundaries (say, cheating on her own husband with someone else’s husband or acting like a parent when the kids’ parents are newly separated) so her lack of boundaries (and Eddie’s) are hardly surprising in terms of sexuality and respect for the kids.

      • aaa says:

I think that Eddie and Leann’s circle of friends are quite liberated, certainly more liberated than me. If Eddie and Brandi were still married I doubt if their behavior would be much different than Eddie and Leann’s antics. I don’t think that Leann and a female friend canoodling while Eddie looked on and the kids being inside is worse than Eddie and Brandi bringing some chick home for a threesome while their kids were a few feet away. Also the first time I ever heard of a tampon string in relation to Brandi Glanville was Brandi telling a story about Jake, who probably had not even started school yet wondering why her “bagina” has a tail.

      • paleokifaru says:

I don’t get the horny teenage behavior either. I walk the loop around the field when I take him to practice in grubby work out clothes and when we’re at the games we’re wearing whatever makes sense for the weather and anything else we were doing. Nothing we’re doing is sexy and we sit in foldout chairs and comment on the game. But I do question that perhaps it’s not just Leann and it was always present. Eddie is a common denominator and both ladies seem a bit too interested in being very sexual and keeping their man enticed. I wouldn’t do the same things but I am somewhat sympathetic to how hard it is to be the woman who is both the new wife and wanting to be sexy but also the new stepmom. That said, I am always fully clothed with SS here and the closest we get to inappropriate is kissing, hand holding and cuddling a bit on the couch. It is a fine line though to keep the marriage going with being newlyweds but having a kid that’s not from your relationship, let the child know you’re in a loving relationship, realize you’re not the mom, etc. I also get she was the mistress and that makes it worse but I tend to think they’re all kind of…trashy.

      • jenn12 says:

I don’t find it liberated; I find it selfish and self centered. They don’t care how their behavior affects anyone, including the children. I think Brandi shouldn’t have said much about the 3somes because 1 day her kids would be able to see it. However, you don’t know if the kids were there or if they were on a vacation or if the doors were locked and the kids were sleeping. To have kids a few feet away while you strip and make out with each other is just revolting and shows a lack of caring as to whether the kids would be upset by it or if schoolmates would see/hear about it. There’s difference between affectionate and sexual. When Leann was running around in a thong serving drinks while Ed and his friends were dressed, the kids weren’t there, so whatever, though the paps were invited. But to consistently be sexual in front of them or to think it’s fine to soak Leann in ice water when she’s wearing a skimpy top and bra is to have very little regard for two young human beings who should not be subjected to your over the top behavior. Adults are supposed to have self control around children and act in a mature way. Not grabbing Ed’s crotch in front of 2 kids would have been a great start.

      • jenn12 says:

I don’t know why my reply keeps disappearing, but will try one last time. It’s not liberated to act sexual in front of kids. The 3somes, I would hope, were behind locked doors or on vacation. Making out with a family friend as the clothes come off and your dad takes photos while the kids are inside playing video games is entirely different. Adults should have enough self control to be affectionate, not sexual, in front of kids. You don’t grab each others’ privates in front of children, and the fact that it’s your kids or your married boyfriend’s kids is even worse, like staking a claim in front of kids who were 6 and 3. It’s absolutely evil when their parents just separated and they’re trying to figure stuff out. We are called the grown ups for a reason.

  14. Elisabeth says:

I do like the photo of Ed ROCKETED that car away from her. No follow up pic of them boarding the plane together though. I guess those waitresses aren’t going to #$%^% themselves

    • SmellyCat says:

Exactly! If Ed was with her like she said, she would have made sure to get him in some of those pics, especially since people were calling her out for lying! Why she is even still getting any kind of coverage is beyond me. She over and done. Just watch some recent “concert” video of her. It looks/sounds like she’s “singing some white-trash version of Shania karaoke.”

She’s already announced her 2015 Christmas tour. So she’s a busy girl. And I think it’s funny that she’s not trying to start up that leleinlondon # again.
I wonder if she’s tired of the chalkboard movement yet. One day Leann didn’t post it right away and one of fans tweeted she was waiting for her quote of the day.

      • SmellyCat says:

It’s pathetic what she has become. She squandered what could have been a life long career. She got an opportunity that better singers that her never get. She’s done it all to herself. When she can no longer get bookings, even in the worst casinos, she need look no farther than her mirror for someone to blame.

      • funcakes says:

Spoke to soon. Resurrected the leleinlondon along with pushing the Leann app again. Plus she’s been tweeting like a mad woman. Making up for lost time.

I had to look really hard to see the stretch Mark. I’m older than her with surgery scars and far less time to work out. I dont have many excuses to wear a bathing suit, but when I do it’s a bikini. I don’t live in L A but so far I’ve never been cited by the bikini body police. I think toI much noise is made about the bikini issue.

  16. MrsBPitt says:

I’m almost glad she wears bikini’s so much, cause her taste in clothes is terrible!

  17. teatimeiscoming says:

I work on the water, primarily in a bikini.

It has been the single greatest influence on me personally being able to accept my body for its shape, texture, etc. I see between 20-300 people in their suits on any given day, and all of the amazing variations from fashion-models to folks on the larger end of the spectrum. It is refreshing to see all of the multitudes of difference in people in real life as opposed to the airbrushed “ideal” that the media shills.

Embrace your body, in all of its glory and imperfection. It is the only place you’ll ever truly live.

  18. JenniferJustice says:

“Hurry up and take the picture, Eddie! I can’t keep my gut sucked in much longer!”

Someone truly accepting of their body would not suck it in for every pic, would not pose for every pic, would not have gotten breast implants for the wandering dong, and dieted and laxatized ad naseum (pardon THAT pun!) And none of that includes what all she’s done to her face. As far as Leaky’s attempts to appeal to the masses…..always trying, usually failing.

Note: Yes, I made up the word “laxatized”. The volume and extent to which she used them makes them deserving of a verb form.

  19. funcakes says:

Leann’s stretch marks are nothing new. We’ve seen them from the beginning of relationship with Eddie when she would jump around like a hyper teen wearing next to nothing.

Now she wears bikini’s for her male fans to tell her how sexy she is because Eddie seems disinterested.

I noticed there were no pics of Eddie’s friends. Dear I say they did not follow this time around or am I mistaken?

  20. prissa says:

Why does she like fringe and tassels so much??? Ugh.

  21. jenn12 says:

I do not care what she looks like nor if her body has what could be referred to as flaws. Someone who feels good about her body as is doesn’t get implants and diet as strenuously as she does, but, okay, her body. What is alarming is that she’s graduated from being hypersexual in front of the kids and dressing inappropriately in front of the kids to having them dump ice water on her when she’s wearing a skimpy tank top and now posing suggestively in a thong with them. She is not their mother, and it isn’t appropriate to behave in a way that has undertones of sexuality in front of two impressionable boys in an already complicated situation. If she wouldn’t parade around naked in front of them (I hope), then she shouldn’t dress and pose so seductively. She is sending a bad message, but what else is new? This just keeps getting creepier.

  22. anne_000 says:

I don’t think the photo was meant to show her stretch marks. It was meant to imply something else, which in itself is inappropriate around boys nearing the teenage years. There’s no hashtag stretch mark mention in that post.

If she talked about stretch marks, then it’s probably in response to people who noticed it in the photo that she meant to be sexy, which backfired on her.

The top photo is a really bad one of herself. How crazy is that look with all that fringe on the sweater and bag with the added crazy of what looks like a saber-tooth tiger’s fang, the huge gray-alien-eyes sunglasses, flat hair, and open mouth. And then you have Eddie looking like he’s trying to drive away real fast.

The outfit underneath along with the shoes and with the rest of it all do no match in any way. No wonder she has to SWF other people’s looks. She doesn’t seem to have any natural sense of what looks good or bad.

  23. RaRaRasputin says:

Any celebrity who promotes a positive body image and doesn’t deny their own body flaws is one I can respect so props to her.

  24. Cirque28 says:

The Ediot is a blur of motion in those airport photos.

  25. apsutter says:

Hate her but she looks really cute there and I like that bikini

  26. Leslie says:

LeAnn doesn’t feel good about her body. If she did, she wouldn’t have had all that work done on her face. She has her upper lip stitched down so it won’t move, and wonky boobs under her arm pits. This woman is the epitome of insecurity. She’s trying to make herself into the type of woman that Eddie likes (Brandi), and no matter how hard she tries, it’s not going to happen.

Uggg…go away…i advocate cuting your vocal cords so we don’t have to hear your stupid voice any more …then put a bag on your head so we don’t have to look at you…GO AWAY
