Brandi Glanville finally admits she’s ‘over-filled & had some bad Botox’

wenn21940731

Late last year, Brandi Glanville stepped out to some events looking… crazy Botoxed. It’s mean to say, but it was very, very noticeable. Star Magazine’s sources said last November that Brandi had a few Botox sessions that “went too far” and she was “embarrassed” about how frozen and puffy she looked. Just FYI: I don’t think she only gets Botox. There are fillers in her cheeks too. Well, in December, she claimed she hadn’t gotten any “new fillers or Botox this year” which made absolutely no sense. Now she’s coming clean. A little bit.

Brandi Glanville has admitted she’s had ‘tons’ done to her face. The 42-year-old discussed her changing looks on E!’s new celebrity plastic surgery talk show Good Work which aired on Tuesday. That same evening, the reality star made an appearance on the final reunion episode the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo.

On Good Work, Brandi was asked by host Ru Paul whether she had ever done anything to her face. With characteristic directness she replied: ‘Yeah, tons…fillers and botox and I’ve definitely made some mistakes but it’s hard to watch yourself get older on television. You look and think – maybe I shouldn’t have done that and maybe I need to do this.’

The Celebrity Apprentice star, who is known for her outspoken behaviour, added: ‘I’ve definitely over-filled and I’ve definitely had some bad Botox where your eyes drop but, y’know, there’s no shame in my game.’

[From The Daily Mail]

I don’t have as much of a problem with it when people admit that they’re hitting the ‘Tox. My biggest criticism in Brandi’s case is that I think she should stop crying poverty because it’s clear that she has plenty of money to spend on injectibles. Too much money, frankly. I really wonder if Brandi would look SO different if she stopped messing with her face? I think she would look pretty much the same, just not as puffy and waxy. But hey, it’s her face, her money and her life. If she thinks this looks good… I guess we just have to accept that.

Maybe E! pays for the stuff, like a per diem for normal people? Nice to hear someone admit it for a change.

    • pam j says:

Andy hates it. He talked Jeff Lewis out of using it and raved about how much better and younger he looked, and he was right, Jeff looks SO much better. Brandi should stop too. She was beautiful before, now she looks 55, it has definitely aged her. She would look YEARS younger if she stopped it ALL.

  2. Sarah says:

    Breaking news: water is wet.

Does the fact that she is stating this make it like she thinks it’s a big secret and she’s getting it off her chest? Lulzzzz

  3. Riley says:

    I like her.

    • Don'tell says:

      Staahhpp! No.

    • Denise says:

      I don’t

    • Dirty Martini says:

Not for a single solitary second. I hate this Brandi vs LeeAnn crap. Like this is what we have to choose from? THey deserve each other and Eddie too. So sorry you were cheated on Brandi. You weren’t the first woman, you won’t be the last woman, and by the way–its no excuse for your own abhorrent behavior.

Trashy piece of work she is.

      • ava7 says:

I agree! In the first season she was in, I really liked her and felt sympathy for her. But after seeing her behavior on RHOBH in subsequent seasons, I think she has a rotten character, and it seems no wonder her husband left her for another woman! And when she was on this last reunion show, I thought she was starting to look like that Bride of Wildenstein cat-lady.

  4. savu says:

She looks so… sculpted in that first photo. She’s a beautiful woman, and I think this is one of those examples of doing a little tweaking and not immediately loving how you look 100%, and doing it again. It’s unrealistic expectations of how she expects to feel. But I’ll always appreciate somebody who can own up to it. Meanwhile I hope as I age I can get botox so minor people really have no idea if I’ve had work done, or “being pale and always wearing sunscreen paid off”. That’s the dream, right?

  5. NewWester says:

RuPaul was hosting a reunion episode! I have to watch that!

    • michkabibbles says:

I think RuPaul was hosting the plastic surgery show. Andy hosts the housewives reunion (but man, would I love to see RuPaul do it! He and Andy Cohen are friends, maybe something can be arranged?).

  6. MrsBPitt says:

She really didn’t have to “come clean”….her face told the whole story!!!!!! I am 56 years old and am so glad that I can’t afford to get all these “fountain of youth” procedures. Because, I really think that it would be tempting to try and turn back time! Although, I had a manager at my job, that got her lips done…and it turned out HORRIBLE…she now has crazy duck lips…and that put me off plastic surgery for good. I would like to have laser on my skin, because of age spots, but I am even afraid to do that!

    • sally says:

Yea, honestly I have yet to see a celebrity of any kind look GOOD with botox. If I saw the majority of them actually looking younger and fresher, I’d be tempted. But everyone looks scary. Why would you want to look like that?

      • Tracy says:

There are plenty of people walking around with excellent Botox results– you just don’t know they’ve had it, silly.

      • The Original G says:

What Tracy said. All. over. Regular women get a little botox to smooth a couple things out. It’s mystery to me that so many HW types have sure bad injections.

      • Sharon says:

Yup I’m going to back up what Tracy said… Plenty of women get Botox every day.. But subtle and well-done so the majority of people wouldn’t notice, just comment on how “fresh” and “rested” they might look. It’s the bad Botox, overdoing it, frozen face, can’t make expressions type of Botox that everyone notices because it’s so bad, therefore, people who have never done Botox may think that ALL Botox-users look like that. I’m getting married in months and wanted to just smooth over my forehead and crows feet for the big day and all the pictures, so I decided to get Botox for the first time and I LOVE it!!! I saw results immediately (next day, crows feet literally GONE when I smile) and continue to see great results… But it hasn’t changed my face one bit – just smoothed things out a little. I plan on keeping it subtle with touch ups once or twice a year – I never want to change the look of my face, but if I can smooth out these fine lines, I’m all about it. I was terrified to do it but now I’m so happy that I did. I hope and pray i never become addicted and over do it like our Brandi here! There’s such a stigma attached to having “work” done and I think it largely has to do with people like her giving it a bad name. I work very hard to make good money and be able to afford procedures like this.., and if I could go back in time to younger and careless me and force her to stop sun tanning all the time, wear sunscreen, hydrate, less partying, more sleep, etc etc… I would. But the damage is done and I can only try to work with what I’ve got now. I think a lot of women are in that position (unless they were blessed with great skin and also a great mother who strictly enforced these things upon her daughter, unlike my own).

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I am too chicken, too. My dermatologist said I would benefit from that thing where they peel all of your skin off, and I backed out of her office so fast she was probably wondering what happened to that old lady. Lol

      • MrsBPitt says:

GNAT….I actually had a mild chemical peel and it wasn’t too bad…You look gross for a couple of days, but after you peel, your skin does look better. But, it didn’t take away my brown age spots, and I am nervous about the laser!

If anyone has had laser on age spots and would like to share their experience, good or bad, I would love to hear them. It might help me make a good decision!

      • Tracy says:

You don’t need lasers to get rid of age spots. Although the lasers are no big deal. There are simple RX creams that remove most age spots.

      • Jayna says:

I had a ten-day peel. My skin looked amazing afterwards. People would stop me everywhere talking about my beautiful skin. My own mother kept staring at me asking me what products I was using, that my skin was so beautiful. I finally had to own up to her what I had done.

      • Macey says:

        @MrsBPitt

I am actually going to have a few spots lasered off my lower leg next month.
This is nothing major and is going to be around $100.00 b/c its just a cpl of them. I know that may sound stupid but they’re very dark and visible in the summer time since they’re on the front of my leg. idk but my eyes go right to them whenever Im in shorts. I will see how they do. My Dr. told me it actually works better when the spots are darker vs just light spots, somehting about the way the lazer picks them up (?? I dont remember exactly b/c I had the consult awhile ago). I know the one girl in his office has a large spot on her face lasered but you can still kind of see it. she said the spot wasn’t very dark to begin with which may be why it didnt take as well. I have not seen her since then to see if it went away over time.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Oh. Well maybe I’ll go back and check it out then. It sounded like something from a horror movie.lol

      • littlestar says:

MrsBPitt – I’ve had the laser done on my face to get rid of my hyperpigmentation! It works pretty well! It does hurt, I won’t lie about that. I have a high pain tolerance, so I found I was able to handle it no problem. I found thought it felt like a VERY strong elastic snap to the skin. It is pricey though ($450 per treatment for me) and I needed two treatments to get the results I wanted.

      • maripoodle says:

        To Mrs.BPitt:
For age spots you don’t need laser, you need IPL – Intense Pulsed LIght. It’s painless, and nukes the brown spots and freckles. You can look up before and afters of this. It doesn’t touch wrinkles, just evens out skin color. And it’s painless.
Ask away: I use it all, Botox, fillers, IPL, laser and lots of plastic surgery and I look like a low maintenance gal. It’s who you choose to go to. If I asked my doc (who happens to be down in LA) for the Brandi look he’d look at me calmly and say “No”.and wait for me to return to sanity. He takes his work seriously and only does the “natural” look. Every doc has their asthetic, you just have to find one that jives with yours.
For a sample of really good natural work (and she’s had buckets) see Helen Mirren. You see her, not the procedures. That’s finesse.

    • Denise says:

stay afraid cause Brandi looks awful…and she acts awful…nothing but a waste of money

    • AntiSocialButterfly says:

MBP, check out a site called RealSelfdotcom. You can read myriad personal opinions on myriad procedures. It is a valuable resource.

  7. CharlotteCharlotte says:

Having only seen her in pics on here I found it hard to believe some people described her as so beautiful (even though every face is beautiful), but then I YouTubed her on an episode of WWHL (which I’d also never seen before) and she really was beautiful. Maybe it’s that she needs to be in motion, or maybe she hadn’t overdone the work that week, but I finally understood what some here had been saying.
Those pics are still muppet-y and scary though.

    • Christin says:

I think people have mentioned she looks better in motion, and that’s what I noticed when she was on CA. She looked very striking (and I mean that in a good way). Still photos of her are sometimes scary.

    • littlestar says:

She was really beautiful the first season, she had no fillers at that point and likely just minimal botox. VERY sad to me how much she has jacked her face up now. She looks awful now.

      • AntiSocialButterfly says:

I agree. I have seen pics of her when she was with (married?) to her ex, and she was nothing less than stunning. Now? Madame + Mme. Toussaud= overly filled & frozen BG. She really needs to stop.

      • Denise says:

I think the problem is using fillers to sculpt, to actually change your face instead of using it as a spot treatment to make little things look like they used to, and not accepting a slight improvement as a good result. So then you”ve got a face full of fillers and probably too much botox but you’re still aging and trying to stay one step ahead still, thanks to delusional and or greedy doctors etc who convince you this is possible. They need to lay off the nasal labial folds or whatever they’re called, trying to eradicate them completely looks awful, they’re always lumpy when overfilled and it looks so unnatural. Having them even in your 20s is normal. I hope Brandi has learned her lesson and eases up, it would be realky sad to see a beautiful woman destroy her looks. She’s only in her early 40s!

  8. Blackbetty says:

She looks a bit scary in these pics! But then again this seems normal in Hollyweird

    • Jayna says:

The people who look odd like that, overdoing it, actually lose work. It doesn’t help them because their faces at angles look odd on screen. The women in their 40 and 50s getting work are the people that look normal and natural like Laura Linney, Julianne Moore, Julianna Marguiles, Sharon Stone, Maria Tomei, on and on, not the Lara Flynn Boyles or the Melanie Griffiths or Meg Ryans of the acting world, whose careers ended with their unnatural looks.

      • LAK says:

Sharon stone has had work done. it’s very well done.

      • ya says:

@LAK I’m sure all of the people Jayna listed as looking normal/natural have had work done – it’s just all very good, subtle work. Meryl Streep is another example.

      • AntiSocialButterfly says:

I think for many, injectable become a case of, “If a little is good, a whole lot is a whole lot better.”

  9. Kitten says:

On one hand, those first pics are the stuff of nightmares. On the other hand, that was awful lighting that would probably make most people look like monsters.

I think it would make a huge difference if she just laid off of the cheek fillers. Mostly, I think any reputable plastic surgeon would advise from putting so much filler in one’s face. It simply does not look good. It doesn’t make a person look more youthful, it just makes them look scary.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Right. The bottom line is, it doesn’t work. You don’t look younger, just odd.

    • AcidRock says:

All I can think of when I see her is that puppet thing from the “Saw” movie.

      • Kori says:

That’s exactly what she looked like on the reunion which just aired. And spare me about it being arc to watch yourself grow old on tv. She relentlessly attacks the other women for their age–almost all of whom look better than her–like she’s not a contemporary of theirs. Her go to insult is to mock them as menopausal and gloat about still getting her period.

  10. Tracy says:

Brandi’s original face had a totally different shape. If she just let her face age naturally, it would not look the same, certainly, but it would look so, so, so, so, so much better than this cartoonish, exaggerated mess. She has lost all feminity in her features, all the softness and delicate bone structure. The giant tennis ball cheeks, the huge, blubbery and overdrawn lips, even the spackled-on makeup make her look like a drag queen — like a man. Brandi, some crows feet, a few nasolabial lines…it ain’t the end of the world. Face it, the ingenue days are long gone. Middle age is thine, girl!

    • Jayna says:

A few crows feet and nasolabial lines are even on late 20 somethings. These women try to erase any type of line, smile line ,to the point they have less lines than when 30, and blow up their faces and lips to the point their smiles are tight , not natural, lose all expressiveness in their face, and they think that’s younger looking? They look unnatural, face tight in movement, which is the sign of an older woman with that plastic-surgeried look, not a younger-looking version of yourself.

  11. Tate says:

I really think she would look so much prettier if she stopped messing with her face. Aging doesn’t have to be a bad thing. But then again I do not live in LA LA land and I am not on TV.

    • Jayna says:

She looked young before she started going crazy with this stuff. She is only 42. There’s tons of beautiful women in or out of Hollywood who are in their early 40s and look amazing. She started doing this crap when she looked young and pretty. She has mental problems, because she dissed Adrienne Maloof saying she was morphing into catwoman and yet she was doing the same thing, with no need. She started this stuff at 39 on the show. For many seasons fans have been saying how awful she looks and to stop it. She lies and denies. She says I’ve done too much filler or botox but that was a year ago as her face looks like it’s about to explode. She doesn’t see in the mirror what we see, that her face is a mess from all the filler and botox. Yet, she makes fun of the other women, like Kyle, saying she can tell she doesn’t use filler, like it was a diss. I don’t find her honest at all. When her face looks odd and way overdone again and Andy asks her, have you gotten more filler, she flat-out lies.

Her face looks so much meaner from all the filler and botox she is addicted to. She reminds me of Madonna that way. It is no friend to them. It gives them such a bloated and smug look on their face, definitely doesn’t make them and others look younger. Their faces look so odd at certain angles, not natural. How is not natural-looking helping you to look younger?

Kyle and Yolanda and Eileen looked amazing on the reunion, all older than Brandi, and no over-botoxed or overfilled faces. They had smaller faces and faces that moved and smiled naturally. Brandi’s face and lips looked like they were going to explode and like she couldn’t move her face. Her nose had all but disappeared into the folds of filler.

      Sad.

      • LAK says:

Kyle has admitted to botox on the show. several times. she doesn’t overdo it, but she does it.

      • Jayna says:

@LAK, I said not “over” botoxed or “over” filled faces. I agree with you about Kyle and botox. But it’s to a small degree. I see lines on her forehead, etc. I assume all of them use one or the other (filler and/or botox) in small degrees or some type of lasers, etc. That’s the key, moderation just for a fresher version of yourself.

      • aaa says:

A while back Brandi said that she’s been getting been getting injections since she was in her 20s. I think that she’s always been self-conscious and insecure about her looks but the underlying reason has changed:

        – In her 20s, she probably started getting injectibles to be competitive in the modeling world.

        – In her late 20s and 30s getting beauty treatments was one of the things that pampered, trophy wives did to pass the time, plus in Brandi’s case, she also had a hot husband with a wandering eye.

        – Now that she’s a TV personality in her 40s, Brandi is doing what she thinks is needed to look youthful – although I don’t think that Brandi looked all that youthful when she was actually youthful, in the Daily Mail article that was linked there is a picture of Eddie and Brandi and Brandi looks like Eddie’s aunt / much older sister.

      • littlestar says:

aaa – no way. Eddiot looks bad too. He’s a washed up, aging, squinty wrinkled has been (who are we kidding, was he ever a thing really) in the most recent photos I’ve seen as him. He looks years older than he really is too. That’s what karma does to a person I guess.

      • aaa says:

        @littlestar,
In the write up above there is a link to a Daily Mail article with a picture of Eddie and Brandi from 15 years ago, I am saying that in that picture Brandi looks like Eddie’s aunt/much older sister.

      • Tate says:

@Jayna I agree with you that Yolanda looks more natural but no way when it comes to Kyle. She has messed with her face in a big way and it shows. I thought she was melting under the lights at the reunion.

    • Denise says:

I live here and LOVE my natural 52 year old face refuse to change even if I could.

  12. Talie says:

She has other problems, like picking at her face. You can see the scarring from that.

  13. TeaAndSympathy says:

At first glance, I thought it was Madonna in the first pic. The fillers make it look as if she has a double bottom lip. In the last pic, she’s showing signs of entering the league of the Wildenstein woman. I’ve never seen her in anything other than photos on here, but it’s clear she was a very attractive woman. It’s sad that a lot of (most?) women in Hollywood feel compelled to stuff up their faces in an attempt to look perennially young.

  14. Gg says:

She said the same thing after last year’s reunion. Just trying to stay in the press!

  15. Jonesy says:

When are these women going to realize that with all the cheek fillers and chin fillers and Botox, they just end up looking like the Madame puppet?

  16. Inconceivable! says:

Has Brandi ever admitted to a nose job? Look at the pic of her looking upwards and you see her nostrils are very uneven.

  17. GiGi says:

You know these women don’t look younger, they just look like they’ve had work done… it’s such an awful thing. Especially when there are much more gentle procedures! I have regular facials and use lasers & RF & all kinds of mystical gemstone potions to keep it fresh, but I just cannot with these injections.

Although… my mom had a vampire facial & it did take 10 years off her face – I’d def. do that if I needed it.

  18. aaa says:

Brandi is sticking to the story that she hasn’t had fillers for over a year, she tweeted about it in the last couple of days. I think that Brandi wants people to believe that she isn’t presently doing fillers, but something is going on with her face – it goes from being puffy and pillowy to longer except that her chipmunk cheeks always stick out.

    • AntiSocialButterfly says:

Voluma lasts up to two years. That’s a long time to live with a mistake on your face. A long time to wait for the eventual settling that slowly diminished to your prior state. I wouldn’t do it.

      • aaa says:

So what do you think is going on, does she have to go to a doctor/professional who does some kind of adjustment or massage? Does the stuff “go rogue” in her face?

      • Stephanie says:

I have had Botox and fillers several times, and this looks like a LOT of fillers to me. A ton. Plus, the product contains hyaluronic acid, which draws water into the skin and “fluffs it up.” It looks like she has had a bunch of product and has been heavily drinking water, is my guess.

When fillers are done judiciously, they correct for volume loss but when they are overdone, they give you this bloated look.

I tried Juvederm in my nasolabial folds and I really loved it. It made a big difference in my face. I also tried Voluma on my cheekbone area and the results were awesome at first, but the product went flat after about 4 months. That was not good, considering how much it costs! My results with filler and Botox has been good overall.

I do wish Brandi would lay off the fillers or at least cut way down. Although I will say, it’s easy to think: wow, a little was great, a lot more must be awesome!

Shame on the docs or nurses who are over-injecting her. :-/

  19. Mzizkrizten says:

What she needs is an ItWorks facial and some defining gel to smooth out the skin on her face, which looks horribly pitted.

  20. Seszie says:

I’m thinking as long as its in moderation with coupling really healthy life style you can look amazing with “extra help” when its a bandaid on a other wise unhealthy body and overdone maybe the results are bad. I’m genuinely interested does any one have success stories to share on anti-aging?

  21. Gigi says:

No shit. I keep confusing her with Adrianne Maloof in pictures.

  22. Cat says:

She needs to lay off the botox, she was so much prettier when she was new to the show! I thought she was in her 20’s.The fillers & botox have aged her like it has Kim K !!!!

  23. anne_000 says:

She’s always admitted to fillers and Botox. I don’t ever remember her being coy and shy and diverting conversation about this at all.

The thing she says she hasn’t done cosmetically yet is anything involving a surgery knife, because of her fears of what might happen.

I saw the E! Online video of the Good Works segment she was on. She didn’t say she had these fillers and Botox last year, so it doesn’t contradict the timeline mentioned in her December tweet.

I don’t think she keeps crying poverty. Yes, she didn’t have an income nor any or not much of a credit line when she and Eddie separated and divorced, because everything was in Eddie’s name. She didn’t have her home anymore and had to rely on her friends.

Then when she went back to work, Eddie sued to lower his own child support payments.

And when she finally had a relatively healthy income and savings and was looking to buy a house, Eddie came back to sue her for $100k, which was most of her entire savings.

    • Denise says:

She said last year that she hadn’t done anything new.

    • Jayna says:

She’s driving around one of the top-of-the-line Range Rovers, which costs over $100,000, and costs her probably 1,000 or more a month to lease. Stop trying to make us feel sorry for poor single mom. Eileen Davidson, who is a top daytime Soap actress, is driving around a Ford Flex type SUV, worth under or around $40,000 and her husband’s car is a 2007 Jag, eight years old. And these people have money. He could be in a new Jag, not a paid for eight-year-old car. She could be in a very, expensive new SUV. They chose to have a nice savings and spend their money on a home, not rent but then go and drive $100.000-plus cars to impress, when Brandi could have kept her five-year-old regularly priced Range Rover, instead of going for the $100,000 mack daddy new Range Rover, the version that people with real money drive.

. That little lawsuit between Brandi and Eddie, wasn’t some huge lawsuit. No depositions were taken. No trial. So no massive legal expenses. It was handled by the attorneys and then over. It cost her some money for her attorney, I’m not disagreeing, but not some fortune and did not affect her getting her house. They were fighting about 401K retirement funds, not savings, and she won. That money is in her retirement account, though.

Brandi could have already been in an affordable home, but she chooses to drive around a car to impress people, as she said. I’m sure she’s trying to buy some home to impress, instead of a home she can afford when this all goes away.

She denies all the time she has new fillers when it’s obvious. Oh, I’ve done too much filler but that was a while ago, lies straight to Andy’s face, when everyone is looking at her knowing her face is yet again different, like on last year’s reunion, different again on WWHL, and now really different on this reunion. Because people look at her like she looks bad, instead of the compliments she used to get, she now never cops to having it done, always throwing out I haven’t done any recently. It was a long time ago, nothing new. Lies.

  24. Jana says:

Fillers give everyone that Joker face…I can’t imagine why they would ever do it. I have to wonder if they stop getting the injections, do their cheeks start to droop?

  25. Curious Cole says:

I saw her header picture and thought Joan Rivers was back from the dead.

  26. kate says:

She has had MASSIVE surgery in addition to fillers and Botox. Why these ridiculous people avoid telling the truth when it is as plain as the twisted and botched nostrils on their faces is beyond me. Botox and fillers do not disintegrate noses, nor do they lift eyes and cheeks to this freakish level. That is done by repeated, bad surgery. But the lack of being able to open her eyes due to the massive swollen cheeks, is definitely overfilling.
