Thanks for the endeering answer to what in the world happened to Matt Lauer; Now for the new question; switching to fashion: what in the world kind of trim is on his wife’s dress? Safety straps? This looks like camera straps or kitty leashes on chiffon or something; radically incongruous.

deer are not the smartest animals on the planet & can sure cause alot of damage when they’re run into. hope he’s ok.

i ran over a dog with my bike a while back, so i guess it can happen with a deer. Maybe the deer didn’t hear/saw him and just jumped on the road in front of him making it impossible to avoid him.

LOL Kaiser. Deer are terrible. My mom had a similar experience but with a deer and her car. We were in upstate New York and a deer just hopped out onto the road. She slammed on the brakes, skidded to a stop about 10 feet away from it and it just stared at her. We ended up driving around it while it stood there watching us go by. Stupid deer.

Anyway, I suspect Lauer was on his bike and was trying to avoid the deer when it leaped into his way…or maybe it crashed into him? Who knows…it seems kind of silly.
