Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West out and about in NYC this weekend. They weren’t in Las Vegas for the big Mayweather-Pacquiao fight because – I’m guessing – Kanye and Kim wanted time to prepare for tonight’s Met Gala. Kimye did watch the fight though – they just did it from the comfort of home, with friends.
As for tonight’s Met Gala, Kim and Kanye are definitely going. They were some of the first confirmed guests. Anna Wintour has a great deal of affection for Kanye, and Anna has even warmed to Kim in the past few years. So, what will Kim wear? My guess is that she’ll probably do Givenchy, although in the past few years, she has befriended other designers besides Riccardo Tisci. So, if not Givenchy, maybe Lanvin (she did Lanvin last year). Kim also admitted a few days ago that her hair is still super-damaged from going blonde more than a month ago, and that she’s going to need to put in some “pieces” (extensions) for the Met Gala.
What else? Kanye’s long-gestating new album has a new title. He was going to call it So Help Me God, which was keeping with the Yeezus-theme of “religion.” But now his album is going to be called SWISH.

What does it all mean? I have no idea. Some think it’s a basketball reference, but is Yeezus even a crazy basketball fan? Some think it’s a reference to Kim and (I guess?) their sex life. I really don’t know.

I find it incredibly odd that the Kardashians are so open about everything except their plastic surgery. Nothing is off limits. Sex, virginity, relationship/marital problems, weight, family drama, etc. But plastic surgery is off the table…besides the fact that it’s the most obvious thing about them.

@HH — that’s so true and weird at the same time. My guess? They are living in a false reality and they lie about everything. I don’t believe anything that comes out of her mouth or her mother’s. I believe one of the younger sister’s said on a talk show that Kim is the biggest liar. In life, when someone tries so hard to prove something, they are definitely compensating for a void in their lives.
That lying thing is true. Kim was supposed to spend the day with Kylie but said she tripped over something and was injured. Kylie felt bad for Kim and had Bruce drive her to Kims (Kylie had brought “get well” flowers. When the got to Kims, they caught her coming back from a shopping excursion.

Speaking of Kim being a HUGE liar: I admit that I hate-watch their show, and last night they showed Kim standing by while Kanye shot his music video for “Only One” with North and it could not be any more obvious that this woman DOES NOT raise her child. First Kim stood there watching from afar and telling her assistant about all the things North supposedly loves (Considering that an assistant’s job is to be around Kim and do things for Kim, wouldn’t she already know things about North if Kim was actually ever with her daughter?) Then Kim randomly hid in a bush out of nowhere because according to her, if North saw her, she would drop everything and run to her. The real clincher for me though was when Kim actually said when North was maybe 10 feet away, “I wonder if she like needs me right now.” I cannot even articulate how ridiculous it was and what a blatant attempt it was to show how she is a hands-on mom for the cameras. It’s like Kim realizes that it isn’t normal how disconnected she is from her daughter, so she puts on this pathetic contrived show.
I hate to sound cruel and I know a lot of people out there think Kim is some ingenious, savvy business woman, but she really seems like she isn’t very bright to me. When she lies, it is blatantly obvious to the point that it’s comparable to a toddler’s behavior, and it’s like you can see a lightbulb go on over her head.
They’re all liars which is why no one believes a word any of them say.
@michelle—What bothered me about that photo shoot (other than what you already mentioned) was that it was cold and raining. Kanye put his hood on. Kim was wearing a jacket and holding an umbrella but the BABY was standing in the rain with an open coat and no hood. So,the grown ups were cold and wanted to stay dry but nobody thought about how the baby was feeling out in the cold rain. UGH!

I agree that it could be a wig, but Kim’s hairline always looks that atrocious because she had her hairline lasered to remove any “baby hairs.” It is another procedure she had that attributed to her plastic look.

The SWISH is from when Kanye recently posted all those naked pics of Kim on Twatter and labeled each one with “SWISH”. Ugh.
Lol yeah Kanye is a really classy guy. I hear Kanye also inspired Kim to include nude pictures of herself in her new book also. It’s nice to have a man that loves you and is proud of you and finds you sexy, but it should be a red flag if your husband wants the whole world to see his hot wife. She is a moron and he is insane.
Her hair isn’t the only thing “super-damaged”… how about her mind, her personality, her thinking processes, her family and the list goes on and on. Amazing how much urine and hair bleach can ruin a person.

I used to think the Met Gala was something absolutely incredible and wonderful ….now that I know Jennifer Lawrence is on the committee and people like Kim & Kanye are there I’m not as impressed. But I still can’t wait to see the pics tomorrow….
