Seeing George Clooney riding on a motorcycle makes me want to jump on and feel the wind on my face while holding his waist. I know he would dump me in three months, even if I was ridiculously hot like Krista Allen, or decently cute and trying too hard like Teri Hatcher. It wouldn’t matter in that moment, though, like the night some guy in college took me out on his motorcycle to an overlook in the ‘burbs outside our city to see the lights. Even though that guy was a playboy, even though Clooney can’t commit, they can still manage to make a woman feel special and wanted if she’s willing to have an extra glass of Pinot and ignore her intuition.

Clooney’s stripper and me, we all have fond memories of those guys who didn’t commit to us while we’re spending time with the ones who could. It doesn’t really matter if they treated us like shit at the end, we knew in our hearts that it was coming and we were just along to enjoy the ride.

George Clooney is currently fighting an ordinance in the Northern Italian town where he lives to build a parking lot and promenades near the harbor where fisherman keep their boats. 300 people in Lagio on Lake Como signed the petition against the construction. Clooney said:

“My concern is that this village that has stood for hundreds of years would be destroyed simply because I happened to have lived there for the last six years. I told my neighbors that I would do what they wanted. And it seemed that they didn’t want to demolish the harbor where all the local fishermen keep their boats,” Clooney said.
