Chris Pratt does a spot-on Essex accent & discusses his steamy 1st headshot

Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt’s currently in Europe to promote Jurassic World. The film arrives in U.S. theaters in two weeks, so the press tour should start hitting hard soon. These are photos of Pratt arriving at the ITV studios in London on Friday. I’ve been a little rough on this guy lately, but I’m feeling these pictures because he struts so well. Pratt also posted a cute Memorial Day video of him teaching son Jack how to say the Pledge of Allegiance, which won me over.

Pratt stopped by The Graham Norton Show and told some very charming stories. Here’s a video clip about how he scored his first headshot as a 20-year-old, model-looking guy in West Hollywood. He sort of told this story last year (and called himself “Douchemaster McChest“) but elaborated more for Norton. The photographer asked Pratt to shower (which he admits needing).

Pratt also performed an excellent TOWIE accent. He says Anna Faris is an incredible fan of “garbage tv,” and they got hooked on this show.

Here are some photos of Pratt with Bryce Dallas Howard at the Paris premiere of Jurassic World. Pratt is wearing an Ermenegildo Zegna suit. Bryce’s dress is Ralph Lauren. It feels a little somber for a blockbuster premiere about CGI dinos, but she looks beautiful.

God I love TOWIE and he does that accent PERFECTLY

    • Amelia says:

I absolutely can’t stand TOWIE, but that accent was *hilarious*, I’m unbelievably impressed!
I hear that accent all the time and I can’t do it to anywhere near that standard!

    • Tifygodess24 says:

Omg Chris is hilarious! That was spot on. 😂 I love TOWIE too! Haha. I’m so embarrassed to say that but it’s amazingly trashy yet completely entertaining. I found it on Hulu a few years back and watched most of the seasons and I keep an eye out for gossip on DM. I keep trying to get my friends to watch it just so I have someone to gossip about it with. I love that Anna and Chris watch it. And he was spot on!

    • Miss M says:

I just started watching . So funny!

    • Franca says:

TOWIE is sort of okay, but I can’t stand Made in Chelsea, and their accents are far worse.
I kinda get why the TOWIE people do reality TV – they get money and opportunities ( some of them are just stupid, Joey Essex was on 8 out of 10 cats, and dear God) but the MiC lot have money and opportunities – why embarrass yourself on TV?

      • BB says:

Oh wow, do they show TOWIE in the US? That’s crazy, I’m slightly embarrassed to live just on the edge of TOWIE and sometimes see them filming on our local High street… But we’re not all like that, promise!

      • Franca says:

I’m from Croatia, and they did show it on some satelitte chanel here, but I don’t remeber which one.

      • KB says:

I don’t think they do BB. I’ve never heard of it. And he said Anna started watching it when he was shooting GOTG in London. But I wouldn’t worry about it. If it is actually anything like Jersey Shore, the people on the show are nothing but caricatures of actual human beings, so…

I think he’s a goofy dope but a lovable goofy dope.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Bryce Dallas Howard is a little fragile? I always get that sense looking at her. She gains a lot of weight with each pregnancy and then struggles to take it off. I don’t know why and I don’t know if I’d make this connection for anyone else in that situation, but for some reason I think it’s emotional with her.

(This is not a comment on her current weight at all. She looks great.)

    • Miss M says:

I really like Bryce. She does look great, but i saw yhe pictures i got a pregnant vibe from her.

    He looks so gorgeous… sigh.
I’ve been associating celebs and dogs in my mind for a while, and I feel like Pratt would be a perfect golden retriever: beautiful, playfull, cheery, plays well with everyone, energetic, tends to put on weight, socially intelligent.

I loved Melissa Mccarthy’s headshots more. They were hilarious. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C_AKtFo7Ht4

I find Pratt’s interviews don’t translate well in print. Whenever I read a print interview with him I get really turned off. Then when I hear him tell the exact same story in a video clip I end up loving the guy. I think he’s just one of those people where you have to hear his delivery and see his facial expressions to understand his humour and the levity behind his words.

  7. Franca says:

He was very good on GN, but Graham tends to bring out the best in his guests. The entire couch was pretty good.

Speaking of chat shows, I’ve finally seen James Corden’s show and I liked it, which I find very surprising. I rarely find Corden funny, and he’s nowhere near Craig, but he’s very likable and not annoying and ass-kissy like Jimmy Fallon .

  8. Isa says:

I really loved his commentary on his first job being in an MLM scheme. I really hate that my Facebook has just become a way for friends to sell me crap I don’t want or need.

  9. Catelina says:

That top picture is beautiful, and he just seems like a fun guy to hang out with.

  10. Talie says:

I love how Graham said the accent is useless because obviously, not studio wants to do films about people outside of the posh class of Brits.
