Since I’m not into Doctor Who, I really don’t know much about Jenna Coleman. She’s the Doctor’s current assistant. And… that’s about all I know about her. I barely remembered that Jenna was dating Richard Madden – also known as Robb Stark from Game of Thrones – and she was recently on his arm during his promotion of Cinderella. But it looks like Madden and Coleman are over. Enter Prince Harry? But Coleman is a brunette! Harry usually only goes for blondes. But there is photo evidence – you can see some photos of Harry and Jenna getting cozy/flirty with each other here.
He claims he is happily single and not looking for love – but it seems Prince Harry can’t resist turning on the charm when the opportunity strikes. Yesterday, pictures emerged of the fifth in line to the throne with his hand on the knee of a pretty Doctor Who actress as they chatted intimately at the polo. The prince, whom onlookers described as ‘flirty and tactile’, seemed delighted to be in the company of brunette Jenna Coleman, 29, after playing in a charity match last Saturday.
Harry, 30, led the actress by the hand out of the star-studded after-party to chat on a sofa outside.
Miss Coleman, who plays the Time Lord’s assistant Clara Oswald in the hit BBC series, looked delighted at the attention. The actress is believed to have split up with her long-term boyfriend, Game Of Thrones actor Richard Madden, 28, several months ago, according to the Mirror.One onlooker said: ‘Harry sneaked outside with Jenna. He took her by the hand and led her away from the crowd in the sponsor’s tent. They sat alone and talked. It was a very flirty, very tactile encounter. She was leaning in to him and he had his hand on her knee. From their body language, it looked like they were really enjoying each other’s company. They were sitting very close, laughing lots and touching each other.’
Another guest said: ‘Everyone had been dancing inside and [the prince and Jenna] were together in a group, but Harry obviously wanted to talk to her alone.’
A spokesman for the prince declined to comment, while the actress’s publicist said they did not discuss her private life.
Looking at their body language in the photos and hearing some first-hand accounts of their flirtatiousness… yeah, I think he was into it. And she sounds like she was up for it. I imagine that when Harry really turns on the charm, he’s pretty hard to resist. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel for him. Poor Harry… the royal family’s Bridget Jones!
Interestingly enough, Harry was also spotted at Cressida Bonas’ West End show last week as well. Harry’s been pretty publicly supportive of Cressida’s acting career, like he’s making an effort to make us believe they’re still friends/friendly. Do you think they still hook up sometimes? Is Cressida the one that got away? According to the Daily Mail, “Friends insist the pair are not back together, although admit Harry is still extremely fond of his ex-girlfriend.” Damn, Cressy has game.
And finally, Prince Harry was knighted by the Queen. He got the knighthood for “service to Her Majesty.” It’s not a plain old knighthood either – he was made Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (KCVO). Here’s Harry’s fancy new Insignia.

She really is the most annoying character, and needs to leave, but I also would hate it if she married him. I don’t know anything about the actress as a person , maybe she’s perfectly nice, but it would irk me to no end if Clara up becoming royalty.

She’s really pretty. Oh, how I would have loved to be her that night. I don’t think Harry supporting Cressida publicly is her having game. He seems like a nice dude and a supportive guy, even if he’s an ex. He obviously cares about her, but I think if he wanted her back, they’d be back together. I doubt Cressy is the one in control.

Ahh, I do like this pairing! I like her in Doctor Who and think she’s super pretty and yes, Harry should definitely marry a commoner with a northern accent. It’ll never happen but it’s fun to imagine.

BTW, she was great with the Tenth, hated the last season but I don’t blame Clara as many do, it is the BINGBANGBOSH writing, people! And I still think that Capaldi is not right for the role. I loved him as Richelieu in The Musketeers but I hate a grumpy Doctor and a snotty companion, which is why this last season was the worst since the reboot IMO.
While I agree with you that it’s all the writers fault I think she was the worst part of anything to do with eleven (David Tennant is ten) . I actually liked the direction they began taking with Coleman in the first few episodes with twelve eventhough and she actually showed some range instead of the manic pixie dream girl whose entire purpose in the universe was to save the Doctor b.s.
Somewhere along the way they lost the plot. I don’t blame Capaldi I just think Moffat and his team need to leave the building.

Confusing the Doctors, I will lose my fan badge😀… You are right, it started well enough for Clara showing more range in the last season but it quickly became boring with her being this angsty bossing companion teaching the Doctor to do his job. Yikes.
I both agree and disagree about Moffatt… He helmed some great episodes in the past but this season was a mess. I think it started with casting Capaldi, who is a great actor but I did not find him a good fit for this particular role. And then, as you say, they lost the plot and the writing got maudlin. I keep waiting for the Doctor to go looking for bloody Gallifrey and instead he battles moon spiders? And is jealous of Clara’s boyfriend! Ugh. And the whole afterlife stuff was weird too. I am almost afraid of what comes next. I used to like Clara but yes, they should have let her go after the Xmas episode. And why is no one thinking of bring back Captain Jack??

I see where you are coming from with Capaldi not being suited to being The Doctor but I’m still holding out hope. As for Moffat personally I’m just done with him. Yes he did some amazing and classic episodes but his whole ‘clever’ way of writing just comes off as lazy at this point. Can’t we just see major storylines resolved in a meaningful way for once? And where the hell is Gallifrey?
My problem with Clara is that the first two incarnations of her were way better than the main version. As Oswin Oswold and the Nanny/Bar maid she was more interesting. She peaked way too soon.
The fact that she was in the 50th is really annoying to me.
I love the latest Doctor, Peter Capaldi, and liked her much more with him than the last Doctor.

I don’t think there was anything there between Jenna and Harry, especially since he went to see his ex’s play a few days later. I think anytime Harry gets within sniffing distance of a woman, the media goes nuts. Remember the rumors about him and Emma Watson?
It seems odd that the Mirror is reporting that Richard and Jenna have broken up several months ago when they looked absolutely happy at the Cinderella premieres (she went to Berlin, LA, and London…plus was with him during promotion in NYC and Miami) and had taken a tropical vacation together in April. You can just search pictures of them together at the premieres and they don’t look like a couple on the rocks and if they were, they should be Oscar winners for their performances. If they broke up, how did things fall apart so fast? I thought they were/or are a lovely couple.
It’s sad if they are broken up, they’ve been together for 4 years.

It seems to me that both Jenna and Richard are taking a page out of the Emma Stone/Andrew Garfield book-they or their people have not addressed the rumors and it seems like they won’t. I guess we will know if the break up is true if we don’t see them together again or one of them does say something. Or they’ll be like Emma and Andrew and suddenly turn up together a couple of months after the reports of a break up.
And about Jenna on Doctor Who, they had the perfect send off for her in the Christmas special. If I was Moffat, I would have not allowed her to make a last minute decision to change her mind and stay on the show at the 24th hour. I feel like this upcoming season, Clara would have far overstayed her welcome. I am more excited to see Capaldi acting with Michelle Gomez, Maisie Williams and the return of Osgood then I am to see another season of the Doctor and Clara.

She’s very pretty, but she’s also a serious actress which means it’s likely a no go for Harry. The photos were flirty, but I’ve seen flirty people like that at parties so it hardly means that anything else ensued.

i dont think you can rule that out. i would go as far and say women who are drawn to acting might be even drawn more to be a famous royal house wife than the regular working woman.
i agree that there is no appeal in such a life that Kate is living but both Willam and Harry never had problems finding women (some of them only interested in having being with a royal for a night) so there is appeal for some people. especially people who like the spotlight.

I like Jenna Coleman, but I am soooo ready for Clara to be gone from Doctor Who that I can’t stand it. She and Matt Smith drove me insane because they were both playing spazzes and two spazzes together talking a mile a minute in an accent that is hard for me to understand drove me nuts. Thank goodness for subtitles. 🙂 That said, I would take Jenna 1,000 times over Amy any day. Hey! Maybe The Doctor can meet Prince Harry in a very special episode.
