Miley has issues. She has the weirdest instagram. I was checking her pictures the other day and she seems out of her mind.
I agree but I think Miley’s “weirdness” is very much contrived. This girl strives to be as weird as she possibly can be because she’s desperate for attention and it only makes her look like she is out of her damn mind. Unfortunately, all Disney girls seem to feel like they have to go to the umpteenth degree to show how grown and liberated they are. I saw on TV that Miley posted a picture of herself masturbating on Instagram. It’s all overkill.
I’m of the belief that the price for becoming a Disney kid is to submit to gross abuse. I just don’t see any other reason for all those unfortunate kids to turn out the way they do.
I agree about the contrived feeling of her weirdness. It’s so needy.

@Tapioca – totally agree and I also feel this exact way about Miley’s talent. Miley has, in my opinion, an amazing voice, but her antics over shadow it. Lady GaGa had the same problem and her career has really never recovered.

Chris Evans… all of his overthinking about thinking is exhausting. He reminds me of this guy I dated. So, deep and “present”… dismissed any of my negative emotions, especially if he caused them, because I was just “sad” and “ungrateful”. How I should just “be happy” and “here now” and not stuck on “yesterday” even if things weren’t resolved, and “not to focus on the future” even if it provided a solution, because my thoughts on the future “weren’t real”. Sigh. He was like a happy robot, surrounded by a wall. I became happy and grateful once I broke up with him!

Regarding the Chris Evans videos, I really cannot watch past the first one, no patience. But from that one video it reminds of this book I read a long time ago. It was about it the “Ego”. It sounds as if he has studied that book a little too much. If you concentrate and analyze too much on every reaction you have to every situation, concentrating so much on “living in the moment”, you will eventually stop…. simply living in the moment.
This is why I would really dislike being a celebrity. There is a public perception as to who they are. Whether it’s reality of not. If they play it well, that perception is positive. However, too much openess could cause public perception to falter. There is an upkeep there that I would never want in life.
Well I feel sorry for her. She clearly has mental issues. (what is Disney doing to these young children?) But nothing she does is edgy. Just sad.

Yes, it makes me sad about Gaga because I would have great admiration and respect for her as an artist if she didn’t resort to the gimmicks for attention. I really do love her voice and when one analyzes some of the things she’s written (such as Speechless and Paparazzi), she’s a brilliant songwriter.
There aren’t very many female musicians whose music stirs me so it’s disappointing when the ones I do like reduce themselves to an image instead of letting their work speak for them.
Miley is just a hack all around. There are people who say she’s a good singer but her “backyard sessions” are still studio-edited and her tone is awful.
