Kendall Jenner ‘rebels’ & decides not to follow Kim’s ‘no-tattoo’ advice

Kendall Jenner visited the Jon Boy tattoo studio in NYC last night. He documented his celeb clients (Hailey Baldwin was also there) on Instagram. No big deal, right? People get tattoos all the time. Well some outlets believe Kendall is rebelling (quite openly) against Kim Kardashian’s “no-tattoo policy.” These claims sound sensationalistic, but they could be true. Kendall spoke earlier this year about how Kim told her not to get inked. Kim said, “Don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley,” which is hilarious because Kim doesn’t mind modifying her body through plastic surgery. But tattoos are so tacky to her!

Now wait until you see Kendall’s tattoo. She tried to show it off by flipping the bird, but it wasn’t visible. Here’s Kendall’s grand rebellion:

Just a tiny white dot! Two of them, actually. This reminds me of the Friends episode where Phoebe chickened out at a tattoo studio, ended up with a similar dot, and claimed it was a beautiful tattoo of the Earth. So funny. Maybe Kendall really is rebelling, and she simply didn’t want to jeopardize her modelling gigs with a more prominent inking.

Here are some photos of Kendall last night at the Fragrance Foundation awards to support her Estee Lauder ambassadorship. I don’t have an ID on this dress, but it feels like she keeps wearing the same outfit. Kendall knows the style that works for her.

WTF. Good god why do I click on this sh*t. I deserve it, man, I deserve it..

  2. Loopy says:

Errm Khloe has a tattoo and Rob is covered in them.

    • Shambles says:

Rob is also constantly made into the outcast. Maybe all the tattoos were/are his way of expressing himself in a family that will pull you and squish you and knead you until you are the product they want you to be

    • anon33 says:

And, if you watch the show, Kim hates their tattoos and has told them that over and over.

  3. HEJ says:

No Kendall, now you’ve scratched your Bentley!

  4. Shambles says:

The tattoo itself is whatever, but I’m loving the idea of Kendall forging her own path. Yaas, honey! Get tattoos instead of nose jobs! Make a life for yourself outside of the coven you’ve been raised in! I’m rooting for you, Kendall!

  5. GPSB says:

I hate the way Kim phrased it but absolutely agree with the sentiment.

  6. tifzlan says:

This one is growing on me. Probably because she keeps her mouth shut most of the time and actually has work to do.

  7. missmerry says:

“Kendall knows the style that works for her.”

^ I think this quickly becomes “we’ve seen her in this 1,000 times before. Boring!”

  8. Pedro45 says:

So can I tell people that the brown spots on my hands are tattoos instead of age spots? I suddenly noticed that i now have my mother’s hands and I don’t know when that happened.

  9. Wren33 says:

Whaaa? Why? It just looks like something that needs to be scraped off her finger.

  10. Lilacflowers says:

Dot tattoos? Beat you to it, Kendall. I have six of them from radiation. Who knew they could become a thing?

  11. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

    LMAO! God that’s pathetic…

Not as a source of rebellion but because she actually posted that online and thought it was cool enough to share.

If not for this blog I’d have looked at those pictures and thought, “Wait is it the dots? No couldn’t be…maybe it’s one of those black light tattoos…”

Best part? WHITE dots. No one will ever see those on her skin anyway.

  12. Swack says:

That tat will last all of two weeks. Because of were it was put it will wear off. My daughter put a heart on her pinkie and it was gone in no time.

  13. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

    @Bedhead

I think you were right the first time, the second dot appears to be on the hand of the tattoo artist based on the hairy knuckles.

So one eensy itty bitty white tiny tattoo.

    • word says:

Yeah the other hand belongs to the tattoo artist…Kendal is just showing one hand. This should not be news…it’s a frick’n white dot…A WHITE DOT.

  14. darkfaith says:

Yuck its funny Kim kardashian thinks she is a Bentley she is more like an el Camino truck with shiny new paint to cover the rust.

  15. FingerBinger says:

How about rebelling Kim’s advice and read a book.

  16. canadiangirl says:

I only came to comment on the best comment of the day.. kittens! Too funny!!

  17. nikzilla says:

That should not even be considered a tattoo. How pathetic.

  18. Susan says:

Not a good look… They look like warts. (Sorry). She could have just put a pinpoint of White Out on instead if she wanted to go this radical.

  19. chick binewski says:

“Oh really? Because my tattoo was licked on by kittens!”

  20. Lis says:

Having done porn automatically makes it NOT a Bentley. More like a Chevy.
BTW … THAT is NOT rebellion. A tiny stupid dot? Why waste the artists time??

  21. Anastasia says:

    That’s not a tattoo.

I do think you have to be very careful and think long and hard about tats. I have three, and I got my first one when I was 43 after having thought about it for a decade! I haven’t had one single moment of regret or “oh no.” All three mean a lot to me (my life motto in Latin, a family tattoo in which we are all birds, and a small bow and arrow).

I also think people shouldn’t get really visible ones until they’re established in their careers. I’m well-established in mine, and have gone really far. No one’s batted an eye at mine, and all three are on my lower arms (one on the inside of each wrist, and one in the inside of my forearm).

My 21 year old daughter has five, but they’re all in easily coverable places for that very reason (she hasn’t started her career yet).

Husband has four, all very visible (all on his lower arms like me), and they are huge and two are very colorful, but he’s also well-established in his career and has done very well for himself. He could show up with a face tat (he wouldn’t) and his employers would be like “cool, that’s fine, just keep doing a good job.”

I’m getting about 3-4 more. They’re all already designed, just have to decide when.
