Victoria Beckham posted this awesome photo of her family on Instagram to celebrate her wedding anniversary with David. They’ve been married for sixteen years now, which is quite the feat for anyone. Let alone a couple who was subject to so many infidelity rumors over the years. I still think some of those stories were true, but the Beckhams appear solid. Look at how proud they are of their children, and Harper’s little smile is everything.
Victoria also covers the August issue of Vogue Australia. Yes, another international Vogue cover. Don’t worry about Posh, though. Her fashion lines are moving like gangbusters, and she loves what she does. The possibility of a U.S. Vogue cover has probably lost its luster for Posh since Kimye used the magazine to promote their wedding. Victoria talked to Vogue down under about how she wants to branch out her empire. She also claims (once again) to be refreshingly normal:
Her rare “independent” fashion label: “I’m enjoying it. There’s no-one beating me over the head telling me I have to do things I don’t want to do. I’d like to remain independent for as long as I can. Oh, I’d love to do menswear, children’s wear, shoes … I’ve got loads of ideas. But every time I say to my CEO: ‘You know, I’ve been thinking …’ he’s like: ‘Stop right now!'”
Her kids don’t think she’s cool: “Sometimes when I’m screaming at them to do their homework or clean their teeth, I say ‘Mummy was a pop star once. Mummy was somewhat cool!'”
She shops incognito: “I like doing those kinds of things. That’s how our entire weekends are taken up, really. A lot of people probably don’t even notice me. I’ll dash around Marks & Spencer in my flat shoes, head down, with a shopping basket … Occasionally, at the check-out, a cashier will say: ‘You look just like Victoria Beckham.'”
Her sons are “polite” & “hardworking”: “The three boys love football like their dad; they love all sport, not just football. And they’re into so many other things. They love art; they’re very creative, very arty. Brooklyn loves photography; he’s got a really great eye. They’re good boys, polite, hardworking and very happy.”

Victoria will always be worth rooting for even though she’s full of it when feigning humility and such. People probably do tell her she “looks just like Victoria Beckham,” because that’s a common reaction when people meet celebrities. I’ve said it before and sounded like a fool, but people loose their tongues when confronted by fame. Even though Posh is spoilt, it looks like she and David are raising some amazing kids.

I saw Richard Thomas at a play once and my friend said, “Look, it’s John Boy!” Mr. Thomas glared at us. I wanted to murder my buddy right there, but since he paid for everything, I kept quiet. So embarrassing.
I rather like her. The comment about the flats made me laugh. Victoria is known for wearing high heels, to see her not wearing heels I would probably think she was someone else. What a great family photo!

I like her too. Everyone who knows her irl says she’s witty and down to earth so I think there must be some truth in it. And a while back I read something about the designers she used to do her brand identity, it looked like a great commission for them and made me realise that she is creating employment for people with her company. I thinks she’s handled her business very cleverly.

Harper’s little smile says it all! So cute. I will always root for this family. They are both hard working and their kids seem to be as well. Harper is just so so cute!

We are loving David Beckham’s new cellphone commercial. And he keeps posting all these pictures of himself with Kevin Hart. Are they working together or something? Kevin Hart is so loud and David is so soft spoken. Interesting.

I just wish she’d smile more because she has a beautiful smile. She’s a beautiful woman, but her expression for the photo shoot makes me think she’s worried or concerned about something with that look in her eyes.
I think he cheated too, they were young still when they got married, his career skyrocketed — who knows what they went through.
Whatever the reason he cheated – they look to have pushed past it and it and not just for the kids because he seems like he really is still in love with Vix.
But you never really know do you? I hope they do make it.

Yes, they have talked about it in interviews but it’s not a favourite topic for VB. They had a second wedding afterwards to start over.

a Spanish celeb a bit older than David, was chasing footballers around by the time he was playing for Real Madrid, and she had her eyes on him. They met at the gym, apparently. Til this day she still says they had something by the time, and that VB went once to that gym once threatening her, giving her the amazing name of ‘Geriatric Barbie’
The fact that it’s her who tells the story…it’s quite funny, actually.
He slept with some other Australian model as well, a Sarah something. He seems to only date brunettes. I wouldn’t be surprised if he still does cheat very discreetly. The kids are really too cute for words but this is no fairytale couple and she’s put up with A LOT for this marriage. I remember how their former nanny sold her story about Beckham wanting to leave the marriage while Victoria was pregnant with their second one, and it didn’t sound exaggerated. Personally I find him incredibly boring and she’s incredibly superficial but street smart.
I love VB, she seems to have a great sense of humour. Not a fan of David Beckham though, his voice is just ugh.

Exactly. I once went on this holiday to Puerto Vallerta with some of my girlfriends when I was in my 20s, and there was this WAITER…most handsome guy you’ve ever seen in your life. He was all dark, brooding, Latin handsomeness. Then he opened his mouth, and emitted this little squeak. Game over. What a shame.

I came ready to dislike, since I think she’s smug, but she gave me a good laugh with this interview. Also, the little girl can make anything look lovely (although the family pic is adorable already).

She does seem to have it all, doesn’t she? I can’t help but wish her well. I remember that story someone here posted about seeing her kids at a tennis match and they really knew how to handle themselves in public. She and David are doing a good job with their kids.
As I’ve posted before, I had the opportunity to watch David and two of the boys for an entire afternoon at Wimbledon, and they were extraordinarily polite and gracious with the public for an extended period of time, with no coaching from Dad, (who was lovely, as well). That doesn’t happen by accident. So good for Victoria, because as Jackie Kennedy once said, “If you don’t get raising the children right, nothing else much matters.”
I think the Vogue pictures are pretty unremarkable, but I am glad to see Posh in any pose except the ONLY one she uses herself, hip bone thrust out unnaturally, chin tucked way down, major side eye and glaring. She looks so much prettier when she is less rigid or posed.
I adore Victoria. I keep waiting on street corners for her to bump into me and say she wants to be best friends forever.
She is unapologetically herself – good, bad, and ugly. For that, I love her.
