Nicky Hilton married James Rothschild in a royal-inspired ceremony: lovely?

Nicky Hilton

Nicky Hilton is officially a Rothschild. These are photos of Nicky and James on Thursday, the day before their wedding. Nicky spent her entire wedding week wearing shades of white, and she even flashed her cheeks at Paris fashion week, which is fine because she was wearing the purest of colors. James proposed in August 2014 at Lake Como after three years of dating, so he knew he wasn’t marrying into the classiest family. These two well are financially well-matched, since James is heir to a banking fortune. James also seems like a traditional guy. He flew from his England home to the States to ask the Hiltons for Nicky’s hand in marriage a full month before he proposed.

The Friday wedding was a full-on event. Nicky and James married at the Orangery inside Kensington Gardens, and Us Weekly says the bridal registry totaled $28,000 (which includes $5,000 lamps). Guests included Chelsea Clinton, Kate Beckinsale, and Dorothy Wang. Nicky wore a custom-made, royal-inspired Valentino dress that cost $77,000. This dress feels like the less elegant cousin of Duchess Kate’s wedding dress, right? So much bubbly lace, but it’s more demure than I expected for Nicky.

Nicky Hilton

Something amusing (and slightly disastrous happened) as Nicky left Claridge’s hotel for the wedding venue. Her absurdly long veil got trapped under the wheel of a Bentley. That had to leave a mark.

Nicky Hilton

Paris and Kathy Hilton both wore white pale blue. Paris can’t stop herself from pose-harding at any given moment, even during her sister’s wedding.

After the wedding, Nicky changed back into her usual Hilton attire.

Actually Paris and Kathy Hilton were both wearing light blue.

    • Susan says:

Kathy’s MOB dress was beautiful and appropriate too. Reminds me of Wedgewood China.

    • smith says:

Daily Mail has a couple of great shots of Paris on the day of with (as they would say) a “face of thunder.” I guess having your younger and (she thinks) less attractive sister marry before you doesn’t make for a happy, happy Paris face. Man, she did pose up a storm though. It’s odd that right before this wedding Paris suddenly found “the love of her life” in her latest boyfriend and has been making the rounds with him.

Kim K. had the same look back when she was single and Khloe married Lamar. You could see the wheels in her head “it wasn’t supposed to happen like this, it wasn’t supposed to happen like this …”

I thought Nicky made a beautiful bride. And the menu was fabulous and never-ending.

      • fee says:

Lmao!!!! I could not stop laughing at the video of the paps following Paris walking in her bridesmaid dress, and she literary poses while walking, stops poses etc….
and not just any posing, you’d think it’s a super model in a studio woth a photographer for vogue, but Paris is sooooo full of herself, she thinks she is sooooo relevant, poses like she is the Queen Bee….lol!!!!!

  2. Cmag says:

Pretty sure Paris and Kathy were wearing light blue dresses. I’ve seen pictures on other sites.

    • Aussie girl says:

Yes I thought they looked light blue in other pics too. Please don’t let this be another dress thing!!!
Gosh Paris just looks cheap no matter what, it’s the porn star pose she has and will aways insist on striking. Katy must be on cloud nine with her daughters wedding. Congrats to nicky and husband, she does look beautiful and I’m sure shunning the spot light and turning down things like the simple life has turned out better for her.

    • What was that says:

I would agree there, the mother had cream embroidery on a blue dress and Wonky’s was very pale blue…Still she could not stop the posing all week..
The Rothschilds are way above the Hilton’s..apart from the banking side ,there is the wine making side of the family and one house in the South East of England which is co run with The National Trust (a heritage organisation) which is straight out of the French Chateau style and as ornate as well…compared to that the Hiltons are “small Potato’s” as your U.S. Saying goes….
open to the public if you go for that type of thing….

      • Cirien says:

I mean James isn’t really one of the wealthier Rothschilds, (His inheritance is only in the millions rather than the billions) but he *must* a ton of stock investments or what have.
And given the scandal surrounding his sisters over the past couple of years I suspect the Hiltons will fit right in

    • Neah23 says:

I thought I was seeing things when Bedhead said they wearing white. The other photos of their dresse look like a light blue.

  3. Maya says:

I know I shouldn’t say anything bad about a bride’s dress because it’s their choice but this dress is too much lace.

Making it less lace like – taking the arms away or something would have made the dress beautiful.

    • lonnie says:

Why would she walk in the middle of the street, dragging her dress along the pavement, to get to the ceremony? Are these people that hard up to be seen?

      • Neah23 says:

Yes they are and their was even a flash of Nicky underwear in one picture at the DailyFail.

      • zinjojo says:

@Neah23 I saw that too! How in the world, with a full length gown and yards of fabric, she manages to expose her panties is beyond me. (At least she was wearing underwear!). Nicki seemed quite determined this week (considering the PFW dress) to expose herself.

      • Bridget says:

They are that hard to be seen.

      • LAK says:

This was a pap opportunity for maximum exposure even though there is probably a magazine deal in place.

She could have walked from hotel and straight into closest-to-hotel-exit side of the car. The hotel will lay down pavement carpet so that one doesn’t soil their dress. Or her bridesmaids could have held up her dress.

Instead, she walks around the front of the car to use roadside door of the car, maximum opportunity for paps to photograph her dress, and no help from bridesmaids except to lay out the dress to drag on pavement to show off full effect.

Dragging her dress to sit on roadside passenger seat of car would have made sense if she was exiting car from that side and straight into the Orangery. However, she had to walk some way from the car drop off, use walkway of gardens/lawns of the orangery to enter it therefore her position in the car was completely irrelevant.

      • Cindy says:

She probably had the street scrubbed and waxed, knowing the hiltons.

I know it’s her wedding day so I’m supposed to be nice, but these people are a blight on humanity.

    • Hautie says:

It is a beautiful dress. But looks like a winter bridal dress. Versus a dead of Summer… where we know it is hotter than hot right now.

The neck/lace looks a little high. But really it is a lovely dress. I am fond of traditional wedding dresses.

But why did Nicky, let it drag across that dirty road? Was Paris too occupied to help Nicky to the car? And keep that 70K dress off the pavement?

What I like to know… is how in the world did Nicky ever talk Paris into a demure blue dress.

That did not have a slit to her crotch? Or covered in sparkles?

But I will say, Paris has greatly improved her wig collection. This entire past year… Paris has been wearing decent hair. No more of those thin, obvious ratty looking, too blonde tracks.

      • bettyrose says:

Too much lace aside, Nicky looks really elegant in her wedding dress. Then, after the costume change, she looks straight out of TOWIE.

      • Bridget says:

What Tina Fey referred to as “Fraggle hair”

      • Jaygee says:

+1. The mock turtle neck would be lovely in December but does not work at all for July.

      • Lama Bean says:

I agree. I think she looks stunning but way too much lace both in July and in general. Even Duchess Kate had a bit of skin showing. But it’s Kensington Palace so perhaps she wanted to be more reserved in her wedding dress choice.

And hate if you want, but Nicky looked fantastic in her classic Hilton attire post-wedding.

      • Tifygodess24 says:

@bettyrose haha I love the TOWIE reference and so so true! The dress was also see through. So it really didn’t matter anyone saw her panties earlier in the day because you coukd see them through the dress later that night. Sigh.

    • Chrissy says:

I agree, too much lace. I’d delete the mock turtleneck, the sleeves and the embroidery on the veil. Also, she must have been sweltering. Paris looks stoned but her mom is grinning like a cheshire cat. The Rothschilds must be thrilled ….

    • fee says:

What’s too much for the dress is the $77 000 price tag. Why announce the price? Too see so many people go hungry, and have them flaunt a dress she wore for a few hours, not even the whole night!!!!!
      Disgusting.

  4. M-dawg says:

Paris and Kathy are actually wearing light blue dresses. The lighting in that picture washes them out to look white.

  5. Tapioca says:

She looks like her mother drugged her to go through with the ceremony.

    But congrats anyway!

  6. The New Classic says:

WTF is wrong with her face? Maybe it’s just that I haven’t seen her in forever but something looks very different with Nicky, amirite? Also, seeing him marry a Hilton makes me think this dude and his whole family are classless and snobby (the Hiltons best characteristics).

    • What was that says:

Ironically that is one thing this family isn’t ..see above re my comment about their financial and social position BUT what does he see in her?She has obviously convinced him she has moved on from her first Vegas Wedding to this one in Kensington Palace orangery …it was a very expensive wedding …I am sure some of the family wonder about her connections especially the badly behaved brother

      • Cirien says:

Eh both of James’ sisters had high profile affairs.

Kate’s with ummm the rapper who’s name escapes me : Jay Electronica and then Alice had a three year affair with Zac Goldsmith, who’s brother (Ben) was married to Kate.

        Yup.
Alice and Zac are married now while Ben and Kate are divorced.

      • teacakes (formerly oneshot) says:

Zac Goldsmith? I remember when news of that affair broke.

And his wife was/is GORGEOUS and stylish, which is partly why I feel some of us need to lay off on calling people like Jen Garner names for looking ‘dowdy’ or implying it’s her fault for not looking good enough for her man. Beautiful women who put in all the effort get cheated on too (see also: Ross, Liberty. And Diana, Princess of Wales)

      • What was that says:

Yes @ Cirien but I do not believe it was considered scandalous to the extreme as affairs are accepted as part of life in these circles..Camilla et al….
I do think things like Hilton Juniors behaviour on the aircraft to which he should have been given a proper sentence are more grave
Then the Vegas wedding of Nicki is a bit more downmarket..Brittany anyone??

      • Cirien says:

I think what was scandalous about Zac’s affair is just how incestuous it was. And how indiscrete. And yes affairs are turned a blind eye especially after the third child, but this was a *marriage ending affair*. That’s what upped the scandal

(Although having an affair with your younger brother’s sister in law is probably pushing the boundaries when it comes to those circles)

Kate’s affair with Jay was probably more scandoulous than Zac’s TBH

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I think her face is permanently stuck in what she thinks is a gracious hello peasants I’m a Rothschild expression, but just comes off as smug and barf-inducing.

      • What was that says:

Funny that as her brother expressed those very feelings on board an aircraft and yet was given a fine if you recall…Peasants was the word I believe was used!!!!

    • zinjojo says:

Maybe it’s the long blond hair, but I thought Nicky all of sudden looks a lot more like Paris (shudder). And Paris looks like her mother.

    • Priya says:

Looks like she’s made from wax in the closeup. Super creepy.

  7. jwoolman says:

I think they all look very nice in these photos (including Paris).

  8. j.eyre says:

Maybe it’s the lack of coffee speaking, but I kind of like Kathy’s dress. Kind of…

  9. Don't kill me I'm French says:

Nicky is super pretty in her Grace Kelly wedding dress

    • Okie says:

Coming here to say the same thing. The dress is definitely a take on Princess Grace’s gown — I thought Kate’s was, too, but this is practically a clone.

      • Reeely?? says:

I can’t abide -anyone- wearing a “trendy” bridal outfit. FFS, it’s supposed to be -your- day to have self expression, with a traditional bent or not. To see anyone in a basicbridalb(tch getup is nauseating, especially for 70k worth of tiredTrend. Ugh. The black hole of charisma.

      • teacakes (formerly oneshot) says:

for what it’s worth, Kate’s was better done – more suitable to the weather and the lace was prettier too.

Nicky’s just ends up looking like random white patterns on her arms (this is why illusion netting sucks – why on earth can she not have proper sleeves, if she’s going to have sleeves? Why half-ass it?

    • Anne says:

To me the venue and the dress just scream “fake.” This is judgey, so *sorry*, but it looks to me like she’s trying too hard to be traditional. Like she knows the social perception of the Hiltons and she is reacting against it.

  10. randie says:

I read that Chelsea Clinton flew over to attend the wedding. Didn’t know they were friends….

  11. bettyrose says:

Is this only the 2nd marriage for Nicky?

    • zinjojo says:

I was wondering that too (but not enough to google it). Seems like she’s been married at least once before, and perhaps a couple of engagements too?

    • Neah23 says:

Ok wait after reading zinjojo comment was she or wasn’t she married before? I thought she got married a couple of years ago no?

  12. Kristen says:

Someone in the family finally landed the Big One. Big Kathy would be so proud.

And why is he standing on his tippy toes?

  13. Kylie says:

I am not a fan of the neckline. The high turtleneck is just not good. The dress would have been so much better with a different neckline.

  14. Talie says:

He comes from the scandalous side of the Rothschild family, so…don’t expect a lot of of judgment. Nevertheless, it’s a huge come up for Nicky. Her parents must be thrilled.

    • Norman Bates' Mother says:

Her mother probably sang her lullabies about growing up and marrying a Rothschild or a Rockefeller since she was born. Maybe they really love and care deeply about each other but it’s just hard to think about this marriage in terms of love and passion, when it all seems to be so calculated, financially conscious and old time-y rich. A rich kid is marrying an even richer kid – 200 years ago it would be a decision made by the parents without their knowledge. Someone as rich as a Rothschild wouldn’t marry someone not from a rich family, but since he is from the scandalous branch, he would have to settle for some less prominent and more scandalous one. Check and check.

    • Michelle says:

I think his father committed suicide.

  15. Bridget says:

$77K dress and everything planned and styled, and you still can’t miss the waft of trashiness and desperation. Nicky must have REALLY wanted to be a Rothschild.

    • Talie says:

I agree. Getting married at Kensington Palace just feels a bit much if you’re not royal.

      • Bridget says:

And somehow for what is clearly such an expensive event and venue, it feels tacky. I mean, if you’re *that* fancy shouldn’t you be getting married in your own castle or manor or whatever? Instead, the Hiltons have to rent. Try hard.

And I love how out of place Paris and Kathy Hilton look.

      • fee says:

True, wannabe. Meanwhile, marrying into the most vile families, scary.
I recall Cam Diaz was dating one of the main Roths, and she said she left because she just saw too much and then cut off her remark.

I think the Hiltons wanted more press for the wedding but missed.

  16. Susan1 says:

I am happy for her. Nicky looked beautiful. I just remember her from when she was a “handbag designer”. She seems less flashy then her older sister. Kathy Hilton is probably very proud. Good for them all!

  17. LAK says:

I like the dress, but the lace is too thick to extent that she looks like a doily.

    • jen2 says:

Agree. The lace is more grandma’s curtain lace and is not delicate and fine, which is the kind I like . Plus, she looks like she is choking with that high neckline. Though the veil is lovely and my favorite part of the look.

But don’t folks usually hold the bottom of the gown up when walking to the car to avoid it getting soiled and why not get in the curb side door, not the street side, unless of course it was to be seen and photographed, which is likely the reason.

    • teacakes (formerly oneshot) says:

yeah, that pattern looks crocheted, and in a very grandma’s doilies way.

    • Cirien says:

This. It looks like a bunch of dollies stitched together, make the lace finer and remove the high neck (make it a boat neck of something) and it would look better

  18. Betti says:

I like Nicky’s dress – lace is not my thing but she suits it and look beautiful but agree it was a royal wedding rip off. Paris needs to get a new resting facial expression – she looked grumpy in a lot of the shots.

Good luck to them both and hope they have a happy life together.

  19. viki says:

Here dress looks a lot like the one Comet Sophie wore in that vogue shoot.

  20. klaas says:

Kathy’s got too much botox, I can’t tell if she’s happy, sad or needs to go to the toilet.

  21. bettyrose says:

Anyone else picturing Conrad Hilton and Don Draper mixing drinks and comparing childhoods?

  22. Shambles says:

Call me all kinds of crazy, but I love the dress Nicky changed into after the wedding..? I know. I know. Obviously it’s completely wrong for the occasion– it definitely doesn’t scream “new bride.” But just as a dress itself, I think it’s fun as hell. And if that’s the look Nicky was going for to celebrate her wedding, I say why not? If I was going out for a girls night and I had the money to look like a walking, partying Swarovski crystal, I would wear that dress in a heartbeat.

    • Bridget says:

The fact that I can see her thighs through it is turning me off.

    • Michelle says:

Did you see the dress she wore out last wk? It literally showed the bottom of her rear, crack and all. I thought it must have been a mistake, but NO. Really tacky.

  23. Dash says:

Honestly can’t believe Paris hasn’t been married yet. A million engagements of course, but still no wedding!

  24. OTHER RENEE says:

They don’t look too thrilled in the top photo. Leaning and looking away from each other, bored. Sup with that?

  25. Jayna says:

I love the wedding gown except the lace, when not lined, above the bodice is far too busy looking and looks like one of my grandmother’ thicker doilies under the lamp on a side table. And the neck part is really awful. But it is very striking as as she is walking in it and they get a great shot of it from the side. The silhouette of the wedding gown is very flattering on her. The veil is beautiful

Nicky’s body is bangin’ in that silver dress. And she looks great in that short white dress. Love it. Nicky bothers me least of the family. She seems to stay behind the scenes of fame-ho-ness pretty much for years now.

It’s all a bit try-hardy for me, the Hiltons trying to be royalty, which is what this comes off as. But it got them a lot of press, so I guess it worked. Paris’ poses, jeez, Paris you are 35. Give it up. It’s your sister’s wedding day.

  26. Dirty Martini says:

I thought it was too lacey for my personal tastes, but so much more tasteful than I would have predicted so I give her kudos for going with something more traditional and less va va voom.

Good for her. Two thumbs up.

  27. wow says:

That dress is gorgeous and Nikki looks so regal. I also like her pre-wedding event mini dress. She has the fabulous figure and legs to pull it off.

It’s funny how every lace dress with that neckline or something similar to it gets the Grace Kelly knock off tag. I even catch myself doing this at times when I see very chiffon-type wedding dresses, I think Vera Wang/Nancy Kerrigan … like with Princess Charlene of Monaco’s wedding dress.

  28. teacakes (formerly oneshot) says:

at least the dress covers everything that needs to be covered, even if it looks like a clumsier iteration of Princess Margaret/Grace Kelly/Kate’s wedding dress. (that lace and those sleeves…)

And I do think this seems a bit tryhard, marrying at KP (W&K’s London residence, no less – that is, when they bother to show up) in a dress that’s so similar to Kate’s but with an even longer veil and train. Like the whole thought process seems to be, I can out-Duchess the Duchess!

But I guess at least the Orangery is earning its keep.

  29. anne_000 says:

I forgot what I was unhappy with NH about, but for right now, I don’t begrudge her a fabulous wedding. She and her sister work. They’ve made their own millions. Yes, I know they probably had family money capitalizing some of their earlier efforts, but they’ve gone on to be successful in their own right. And yes, they’ve traded on their famous family name, but at least they’ve made something from it.

  30. KBeth says:

    Lovely bride.
Paris is a trashy try- hard, I’ve never minded Nicky.

  31. zinjojo says:

I bet PMK is busily taking notes! You think she’s jealous of Kathy right now?

  32. lisa says:

im happy any time someone isnt in a strapless sweetheart neckline with their back spluging over the top

  33. baby faced killer says:

    Ahh two dynaatys

  34. someone says:

Paris’ dress is very nice – such a pretty blue color and nice fit. Nicky was kind to not give her sister a hideous bridesmaid dress. I also loved Nicky’s veil and the simple way she pinned it to her head without a fake crown or glitzy headband.

  35. veronica says:

I’m shocked as hell that a Rothschild actually married a Hilton. Rothschilds are aristocratic old money and the Hilton’s are basically wealthy trailer trash.

    • Cirien says:

Eh James’s branch of the Rothschild family has been heavily involved in some scandals recently
And Nicky might be have more money in her bank than he does…

It’s mutually beneficial and they get each other???

    • LAK says:

Considering the scandal his 2 sisters brought to the family, the hiltons will fit right in.

      • Cirien says:

        LOL(almost) comment twins!

      • Dana m says:

I read that his sister Kate was having an affair with an American DJ or rapper. She was married with children too. What a scandal! What was the scandal the other sister brought? anyone know?

      • LAK says:

Sister 1 ran away with a rapper amid accusation of husband cruelty and whatnot.

Sister 2 had a long standing affair with her brother in law ie the brother of her sister’s former husband causing his marriage to end.

Both brothers have since re-married. One to sister 2.

….but don’t feel sorry for the misbehaving husbands, they come from a family who consider marital partners dispensable whose patriarch famously kept mistresses and is quoted as saying that when one marries the mistress, a vacancy is created.

The kids, male and female, are clearly following his foot steps.

    • What was that says:

I agree with you ..there was a time when I did not think he would go through with it..I hope he has a good prenup!!!!

  36. baby faced killer says:

    Was Tyler the creator there

  37. boredblond says:

Despite over-lacing, I think the dress is lovely..also think the groom looks pretty disinterested..maybe they both got pre-nuptial botoxed.

  38. Valois says:

That dress is hideous. I guess its the turtleneck.

  39. Mary Carol says:

He is pinging my gaydar. The only way this works for me is he is gay and she is his beard. There was no smiling. No visible attraction at all. It was all form. He never showed any affection toward her, or she toward him. She knew she could never marry better, and he knew he needed heirs. I think they both looked kind of sad about what they were doing.

And what is with DRAGGING a $77000 dress across the street? That reminds of Roma in their fancy dresses standing outside their trailers. Lord have mercy.

    • Michelle says:

There is a photo where he has his arm around her waist, except he is NOT touching her, only touching the air behind her back. Very obvious and strange.

  40. Cara says:

    Is it 2005 again??

Can we please put this family back under a rock, please? Enough.

  41. Jezza says:

That’s a bit rich – of cooouuuurrrrssseee we got married at Kensington Palace. The Orangery is the restauraunt on the grounds of Kensington Gardens – so it’s NOT like they actually got married inside KP like they would love us to think. Stupid Hiltons. In the Daily Fail pictures, they don’t exactly have the glow of a newly narried couple after their ceremony. You think they would look a bit happier ON THEIR WEDDING DAY!!!

Anyway, maybe I’m just being bitter because I can’t stand Wonky McValtrex for her fameho ways AND inflicting Kim Kardashian on us – and thusly the rest of those useless, talentless hos whos only purpose in life is to annoy me with their daily dumbassery.

  42. AnotherDirtyMartini says:

What about Kathy Hilton’s crazy sisters, Kim & Kyle Richards!? Were they at the wedding?

    • lozface says:

Sad to admit that I know this, but Kyle and her family were there. Kim was not. I think she may still be in rehab, and after the drama she caused at her own daughter’s wedding a couple of months back I am not sure she would be all that welcome. Apparently Kim’s own daughter (who was a bridesmaid at this wedding) is still not talking to her mother after her wedding fiasco.

I am quite ashamed that I am freely admitting I know all this. 🙂

  43. Dvaria says:

Anything that inspires women to move away from the” strapless dress works for everyone” styles is good enough for me. I miss sleeves on dresses and don’t want to wear a non matching cardigan or shawl everytime I want a formal dress. Celebrity styles provide the inspiration for davids bridal etc so even if the turtleneck lace is a bit much, its a step in a nice direction.

Also, I feel like this is a genuine relationship because Nicky seems pretty level headed. Paris can only aspire to find some mediocre DJ but Nicky is out of the spotlight and always sounded a bit more intelligent as far as Hiltons go. Was Kyle from RHOBH at the wedding too?

  44. L says:

I thought it seemed ok, a bit try hard, but ok. Then I saw this photo of the shoes:

    http://2paragraphs.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/weird-shoes-620×375.jpg

and thought, “Ok, that’s a bit tacky.” And then, the photos of her in the robe that said, ‘Bride’. Ridiculous.

    • Jezza says:

Ugh! Totally agree. Yeah, thought it was OK as well. A bit much getting married “at” Kensington Palace, but of course they would. The shoes are way OTT. Very try hard. Get over yourselves, fools. Had almost anything else (celeb-wise) of note happened, there would not be the coverage that we saw. For shame, celebrites, for shame.

Couldn’t Bennifer 2.0 have postponed their divorce announcement a week or so?!?! Gaaawwwddd!!

  45. Veronica says:

Glad to see dynasty marriages are still going strong in this day and age. The rich get richer at every turn.

The dress is a little much for my taste, though Nicky was always the far more palatable sister to me. Once the spotlight left her, she didn’t come across as pathetically desperate to get it back as Paris.

I find it kind of sad that no one can just let her have her moment. Even if it’s calculated and well planned by her family because she’s a ‘skanky’ rich girl and he’s from the ‘questionable’ Rothschild family. Just let them have their day. Shit. Good for her if it is calculated. Props. He’s not such a winner aside from his money. I think she looks amazing wish them the best.

Paris looks ridiculous with her posing rather than just normal smiling and happy sister-of-the-bride, although as was mentioned already…I doubt she is happy with her sister getting married first. It’s no surprise that she’s suddenly found the “love of her life” and she used that exact phrase when she tweeted about Nicky’s nuptials. She’s is such a narcissist. She can’t stand when it’s not all about her.

I though Nicky looked very nice in her gown. It’s not my favourite in style, but it’s nice that she went traditional instead of trying to be a sexy bride. Maybe she’s leaving that to her sister! I think that always looks a bit trashy…especially some of the new gowns out there with so many sheer panels and cutouts that the bride might as well be wearing pasties and a veil walking down the aisle! Nicky’s dress reminds me a bit of Princess Grace’s gown with all the lace and the long sleeves and high neck. Pretty. I hope they have a long and happy marriage.

Why does she look so miserable as a bride?

Did they suppress the inevitable “head-yanked-backward” photo which immediately followed the frame of the tire-anchored excessive veil?? Inquiring ( schadenfreude filled) minds want to know!!!
