Here are some photos of Rachel McAdams at last night’s NYC premiere of Southpaw, the film where she plays the long-suffering partner to Jake Gyllenhaal’s boxer (because we haven’t seen that film done a million times before). Rachel wore a Self Portrait dress which I really don’t like. She’s so pretty, for sure, and I’m okay with the idea of Rachel in a simple black dress for a premiere. But I hate the midriff-baring part and I dislike the full skirt. It seems like two okay dresses fused together to make one unflattering dress (seriously, this makes her look so flat-chested).
Meanwhile, there are still lots and lots of rumors about Rachel’s relationship with her True Detective costar Taylor Kitsch. It’s a sad day for people wanting Rachel and Jake to happen (ew) or for people wanting Rachel and Colin Farrell to happen (a beautiful, hot mess). Well, several days ago, someone creeped some “morning after” photos of Rachel and Taylor having breakfast/brunch in Marina Del Rey – go here to see. Body language analysis says that they spent the night together and this was their post-bang meal. An eyewitness said: “They were definitely canoodling. They were laughing, touching, staring into each other’s eyes as the pics show and smiling…but not holding hands.” Hm.
As for True Detective, you might have noticed that I didn’t do a recap of this past Sunday’s episode. It’s because I’m so over it. I barely care about the actual investigation at this point. The dialogue is painful and the “character study” part of the show is infuriating. I’ll probably write about the final episode, three weeks from now.

These two need to happen! They are so cute together. Their body language is perfect and look at how they just fit. Both seem wholesome (kinda… I guess) and really care about their craft. I want them to happen.

The dress is meh, the shoes are even meh-er. But her makeup is amazing, and her haircut is giving me everlasting life.

I like the dress! It would look better on a dark haired girl but she looks beautiful nonetheless. But can we talk about the chemistry b/w these 2?????!!! They look great together.
So disappointing especially after how amazing she looked at the ESPYs.
I’m so confused why any of the TD2 actors read the script and thought it’d be any good. ‘Blue balls of the heart?’ COME ON.
Sadly the only good part of the show is Vince Vaughn and that’s the mot surprising thing, ever.
Not trying to hurt feelings… but you know…I was not a big fan of season 1 of True Detective.
I found it slow as hell. The big mystery (weirdly murder girls) was not well define. And seemed like a complete after thought, when the killer was finally found. But I did enjoy the story of what happen between Rust and Martin (Mathew and Woody). And them sitting talking, telling their version of what happen.
So this new season, is sitting on my TIVO. I am not going to watch any of it, until the entire season runs. I didn’t want to sit through another odd paced show, week to week. So I decided to park it on the ole TIVO, till I had all the episodes to watch at once.
There is some MAJOR bedhead/sex hair happening in those breakfast photos.
I know!!! I love it that they didn’t care about looking good, they just needed to refuel. Very hot.
Generally, I’m just not into skirts of that length. Tea length or floor length, please.

I like her and I think she’s doing a thoroughly decent job on TD. Her and Taylor would be a cute couple. They do sort of look like they rolled out of bed and went to breakfast in that photo. Whether they rolled out of bed together is another story.
Her hair is great. The dress could be better but the styling lets it down completely.
That being said the movie was a lot more enjoyable than I expected (I had high hopes). Soundtrack was great as well really elevated the movie. All in all good premiere last night

I feel like this guy have dated everyone in Hollywood. He’s like the actor’s version of John Meyer. Rachael is a special lady, the classy kind. She can do better.

Rachel is so beautiful usually. BUT that hairstyle is not flattering on her at all. All I see is forehead for days, too flat. Miss her darker hair that pops out her features with her pale skin. The outfit makes her look short. A tall actress like Nicole Kidman could pull that dress off.

Her right arm (left, from our perspective) has three stripes on it, like partially faded scars. Completely visible throughout the premiere.
Does she have a dog? They look like claw scratches, probably explains it if she does.
I love her but her look here isn’t that great. But mostly I want to talk about True Detective: I actually think it’s getting good! I liked the last episode a lot, they’re finally starting to piece together the Capere murder and actually investigating. Next episode looks good too with ani infiltrating the sex party. I really want Ani and Ray to hook up though, McAdams and Farrell have amazing chemistry. That’s why I’m not really shipping her with Jake (even though he’s cute) or Taylor (ew, hate him in TD. He’s a terrible actor.)
