Bristol Palin shows off her baby bump, claims ‘I actually have a job #shocker’

You guys, Bristol Palin hates that weā€™re talking about her. SHE HATES IT SO MUCH. Thatā€™s why she keeps posting Instagrams and blog posts and keeps talking about her second pregnancy. Because weā€™re all so mean and intrusive and awful.

Anyway, Bristol posted this ā€œbaby bumpā€ photo on her Instagram more than a week ago but everyone is writing about it like it just happened. I donā€™t know why, Iā€™m just following every other siteā€™s lead. Bristol posted the photo with the message: ā€œCelebrated six years working for the best people I know… This place is my home (I actually have a job #shocker).ā€ Iā€™m not shocked that she has a job, but surely sheā€™s not saying sheā€™s been working there for six consecutive years? Because she hasnā€™t done that. Remember Dancing with the Stars? Remember all the trips sheā€™s taken to ā€œthe lower 48ā€ in the past six years?

Anyway, we still donā€™t know the identity of Bristolā€™s latest baby-daddy. I was going to abstain (hahaha, get it?) from covering Bristol until we got some juicy tabloid stories about her paternity drama, but thus far, the tabloids havenā€™t even bothered speculating about it. Iā€™m guessing Bristol wants us to think that her ex-fiancĆ© is the father. But is he?

Then thereā€™s thisā€¦ if only every mom on welfare could have had that sweet abstinence-advocacy money, right?

If only every single mother had a wealthy family who could provide her with opportunities rather than being forced to work herself up in a system designed to keep her down.

  2. Tate says:

That apple really did not fall from the tree.

    • Anne tommy says:

Has her mother said anything about the disgraceful comments made by Donald Trump about John McCain? Mama pit bull owes her fame to McCain, and the least she could do is call Trump on his BS. I don’t share many of McCains views but he seems a decent man. The war he fought in may have been a big mistake with terrible consequences for both sides, but disrespecting McCain, and John Kerry as previously happened, is crass. Trump actually leading the candidate polls seems surreal. This girl’s behaviour btw, suggests that Sarah’s parenting skills are As good – ie bad- as her political ones.

      • Ange says:

Plus you’d think considering she trumpeted Bristol’s ex and his military record all over the place she would continue to grift her name onto that of a soldier.

  3. Lucky Charm says:

Can she be any more obnoxious?! And I’d really like to know how she commuted to her job in Alaska when she was living in Arizona. Did she forget she bought a house there, or does she just have a REALLY, REALLY great vacation package? Enquiring minds want to know.

    • Bridget says:

Didn’t she try to do a reality show about her living in that house with 1 or 2 of her DWTS castmates?

    • anne_000 says:

She thinks people are too dumb to realize that it’s not possible to work 40 hours a week for 50 weeks in Alaska at the same time being outside of Alaska doing all sorts of other projects.

She got her geographical sensibility from her mother.

  4. Jenns says:

  5. aims says:

Her ignorance, her double standards, her stupidity is disgusting. She is vile and her family is toxicity at it’s worst. The level of their stupidity is dangerous.

For the love of humanity and the hope of world peace every Palin family member should be sterilized. Absurdity breeds stupidity.

  6. Murphy says:

If the father was Dakota those media whores would be yelling it from the mountain tops as they were when she got engaged to him out of nowhere. This baby could literally belong to any other guy in Alaska, Arizona, California or Kentucky.

    • dr mantis toboggan says:

Those could also be the names of potential baby daddies

Does she works in a plastic surgeon’s office? They must pay her in lip fillers

    • Lucky Charm says:

“This baby could literally belong to any other guy in Alaska, Arizona, California or Kentucky.”

So that could explain why they haven’t said who the daddy is. She probably doesn’t know.

I may not have abstained until marriage, but my children all have the same father, and I know who he is. And I actually walked down the aisle with him, which is more than can be said for her. Yet she’s from the party that preaches “family values” to everyone?

      • doofus says:

the hypocrisy with this family is ASTOUNDING.

ETA: I agree that if Dakota was the father, they would have made that clear from the get-go. the father has not publicly been named which DOES make me wonder if she knows who it is. or maybe she does know but the father isn’t exactly a “model citizen” so they don’t want to broadcast that this upstanding young woman from such a good family has procreated with a “loser”…or worse yet, a LIBERAL!!!

  7. QQ says:

Who’s Gonna Tell Bristol that Being a Gasbag and Pontificating about what you don’t do is Not an actual Job Contrary to what her mama or Donald Trump have maybe led her to believe??

    • TeaAndSympathy says:

I’m a foreigner, so I’d be really glad to tell her whatever you want. Just say the word.

  8. Bridget says:

Why does she even say this stuff? It’s not like we don’t know she’s been on TV and in LA on and off for years. STOP.

  9. Bridget says:

Why does she even say this stuff? It’s not like we don’t know she’s been on TV and in LA on and off for years. STOP.

  10. Matador says:

Does she work in a doctor’s office?

That reminds me, Wasilla Word Salad has been rather quiet lately. Knock on wood.

  11. Fori says:

She probably doesn’t know who the daddy is and will remain silent on that issue until they can have a DNA test. She’s hoping it’s her ex and he’s probably keeping quiet until then because if it is his kid he won’t want a blaze of embarrassing publicity.

  12. Dena says:

Hell, I didn’t know she had a job other than a grifter. This is news to me.

  13. Lilacflowers says:

Wow! Arizona to Alaska is quite the commute!

Also, her kid was on Medicaid, which is the health care portion of welfare. The hypocrisy is strong in this one

  14. IriP says:

    Ugh…. GO AWAAAAYYY!!!
So much to say, that instead I’m just gonna focus on the fact that this imbecile didn’t even catch the irony of the meme she posted. As we all know Ron Burgundy while having quite strong opinions on everything, including politics and economy, wasn’t the best source of advice:p
That girl and her momma make just about as much sense as the Ferrell’s racist, misogynistic character.

  15. canadaorbroke says:

From what I’ve read on some “Alaska blogs” one alleged potential father is this dude name Joey Junker, who is a professional snow mobile rider…..or something.

  16. Heather says:

Where the F is she? Is that a chiropractor’s office?

She sounds as surprised as the rest of us that she has an actual job.

  17. Lilacflowers says:

What, exactly, does she do at this job? She has no education beyond high school. In this part of the country, even medical records keepers and medical billing staff require training and certification for hiring.

  18. anne_000 says:

My post disappeared, so I’ll make a smaller post without the links and quotes.

Per Bristol’s custody documents over her son Tripp, she reveals that Levi Johnston doesn’t have to purchase health insurance for their son because Tripp gets his [SOCIALIZED] health care through the Indian Health Services and the Alaskan Native Medical Center, because he’s an enrolled tribal member of Curyung Tribal Council within the Bristol Bay Native Association consortium.

From the Huffington Post, “More Palin Hypocrisy: Tripp Has Government Provided Health Insurance,” Posted: 04/22/2010
    ……………………..

Also, Sarah Palin has admitted that in the 1960s, her family used to get [SOCIALIZED] health care by crossing the border to Canada.
    ……………………..

So maybe Bristol should burn her son’s tribal membership card and pay for his healthcare out of all the paychecks she’s getting from ‘working’ at that Alaskan doctor’s office?
    ………………………

When I saw that selfie, it looked to me as if she just stepped into some random doorway of a doctor’s waiting room, took a photo with forgetting to take her jacket off, then got out of there quickly without anybody in the office seeing her and asking her what she’s doing there.

    • Veronica says:

Wait, who in the family has Native heritage? Levi? Palins? It’s hypocritical for one thing, but more significantly, is it even legal??

      • Tia says:

        Todd Palin

      • Veronica says:

Ah, okay. That’s still pretty shitty, though. They’ve got more than enough money to cover those costs out of pocket.

(Meanwhile, my sister, who may be permanently disabled from a car accident a year out, can’t get Medicaid because her husband “makes too much” money at $1200/month. Unbelievable.)

  19. Kitten says:

Man, Will Ferrell would be so pissed that the NeoCons are using his image to promote their politics.

  20. Jayna says:

She was taught to play the martyr and whiner by the best, her mother.

I guess pregnancy caused her lips to blow up. Not.

  21. buzz says:

Is she going to let the father get away without paying child support?

    • Jen43 says:

As soon as she figures out who the father is, he will have to pay up. She hasn’t named the father, either because she isn’t sure or because it isn’t her ex- fiancĆ©.

    • Chrissy says:

I’m guessing that she’s not sure who the father is otherwise he would have been named. I can’t see her letting the father not pay child support. It’s not like she’s rolling in it.

  22. buzz says:

I’m afraid to guess what she will name this one.

  23. eribra says:

I really liked her before she started talking. I must have projected my chubby teenage pregnant can’t dance a lick with an over bearing mother self onto her. But then she starts taking and holy hell. And I’m fairly conservative too so….I wish this family would go away.

  24. Allie May says:

Doesn’t she claim to be a Christian? I see very little that is Godly or inspirational in her blogs. I do see a lot of political mumbo jumbo in her blogs.

  25. Allie May says:

Also, Bristol may live in Wasilla, but I do believe she commutes to Anchorage for work. So far in her blogs I haven’t seen her address any local (Alaska) social issues. Anchorage is a city of around 300,000 with MANY homeless camps. Just as recently as July 16 of this year, 3 men were found dead -OUTSIDE- within a 12 hour period in Anchorage. Homeless deaths are rampant. Why is she quiet on such an important topic in the state she was born and raised in ?? Doesn’t she believe God cares about the homeless ??

Homeless deaths in Anchorage are well documented on ADN.com.
