Two weeks ago, Nicki Minaj stayed silent about The Beef between her boyfriend Meek Mill and her friend Drake. I think she was smart to stay quiet about it, even though her man got OWNED by Drake. Her silence was interpreted another way though – last weekend, there were widespread reports that Minaj dumped Meek Mill because she was so embarrassed for him because he lost The Beef so hard, so publicly. I wouldn’t have blamed her for dumping him, but that didn’t happen. Instead, it seems like Nicki might be expecting a Lil’ Baby Meek-Minaj. On the last night of Nicki’s Pinkprint tour (which ended in Pittsburgh), Nicki referred to Meek as “my baby father.” Here’s the video:

When I just saw the headline “Nicki Minaj refers to Meek Mill as ‘my baby father’,” I was certain she was just trolling her fans. But watching the video… it feels like it might be real? Like, Meek reacts like she’s really announcing her pregnancy. Nicki responded to some of the tweets about her pregnancy cryptically:

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, MINAJ? I don’t understand. After enjoying hours of headlines about maybe being pregnant, Minaj didn’t offer up one single tweet actually confirming or denying the news. She did post a lot of new photos of herself and Meek on Instagram, and she was chatting with her fans about the tour and other stuff on Twitter. So… high-level trolling or real? If she is pregnant, she doesn’t look like it at all. If anything, girl looks SMALLER in these IG photos. Look at her little waist!
