Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart out in NYC on Sunday. She’s been in NYC for a few days to promote American Ultra which… I can’t help it, I think it looks like a fun movie and Jesse Eisenberg seems like he’s doing a good job in it. I know he’s a douche, though. Of course he is. Which is why a lot of people were waiting to see what would go down during the promotional tour for this film – the combo of surly “intellectual” Jesse with sullen hipster Kristen Stewart… well, it was supposed to be magical. But so far, so good. And by that I mean they haven’t made news for the wrong reasons. And look, Kristen even SMILED for some photos with fans. Amazing.
Kristen and Jesse did a Buzzfeed video about pot-smoking and such. Kristen defines “stoner” as “Even if you don’t proclaim yourself as a stoner and you smoke a lot of weed, you’re still a stoner.” Jesse agrees and seems to say that he’s not much of a pot-smoker (I sort of believe that) because “I think if there was some kind of marijuana that allowed me to enjoy life, but still like remember where I put my keys, I would do that. Because that seems like best of both worlds.”
Kristen definitely seems like she’s more of a stoner than Jesse. In fact, she seems a little high in this video. I don’t think that will really surprise anyone? Kristen is a well-known pot smoker. I believe she probably takes a few bong hits before walking red carpets too, probably to help with her nerves.

I saw a hilarious video in which they interviewed each other, and she switched their question cards. It was so funny because he didn’t know. And while he got asked “which fashion designer she loved most”, and about his boobs, she got asked about her favorite sports, and such. goes to show how frivolous and pointless many of the question actresses get.
Anyway I want to watch this movie, even though i dont care for Him.
I saw this interview also and the one thing I took away from it was how incredible pretty and mesmerizing Kristen Stewart is. I couldn’t look away.
Also I’ve never seen any movie she’s in so I might be a bit late to this game.

Yeah, I think she’s pretty mesmerizing too. But I’ve seen her in one movie (into the wild) and I hated that movie, so I really don’t know about her acting.

This movie looks really really funny. They do make a good team. It is a bit hard to stomach Jessie after he compared Comic Con to Genocide. Maybe he really should smoke more pot- it might help with his insufferable sense of entitlement.

they worked together in like, 2007 or 2009 in “adventureland”. you can really tell how comfortable they are with each other here. i think both of them kinda anxiety prone, so being with somebody they knew before getting famous really helps. they are so likable here.
I can’t stand Jessie in most movies. He and Kstew are King and Queen of playing a version of their own personality in films. Kstew at least has a few older movies where she showed range. I think she gets roles from directors seeing her Fincher and Sean Penn (Into the Wild) films which were her best roles. Jessie so far lacks range in all his films including the Social Network.
That isn’t Kristen smiling, it’s her evil twin Skippy.

Part of me always wonders if she intentionally cultivates this kind of image so she can place as much distance between herself and Bella as she can. She wants the whole world to know how very unlike Bella she is. Which, I can’t blame her. Look at what happened to those Harry Potter kids – they got typecast and it’s impacted their careers.

If she did take a few bong rips before walking a red carpet, I wouldn’t blame her at all. A lot of the time I feel like I’m vibrating on too high a frequency, and that fuels my anxiety. So when I smoke, I feel like it helps to bring me down to the frequency I’m meant to be on– a little more relaxed, a little less nervous. It’s also helps me to go deeper into my meditation, which is an enormous help with nerves. Basically, I’m with team stoner-Kristin.

Jesse doesn’t seem like a stoner at all. He looks like a wine cooler type of guy.

K S doesn’t smile narrative is so idiotic. She always is nice to her fans, there are so many stories and comments from fans about encounters with her,they are delighted and totally thrilled with her, the paparazzi are the ones she doesn’t like.
Media is sometimes so exhausting with its “anything for the clicks” strategy. Two years ago I read an article about K not smiling, they picked a non smiling picture of her of course, even though there were lots of smiling pics, they were shared on fan sites.
The hilarious part: scrolling down the page, there was an article about how girls don’t have to smile for everyone.
Shhhhh! You’re not supposed to be logical or even dare mention that Kristen smiles.

I like girl-dating pot-smoking KStew a hell of a lot more than Twilight KStew. And I’m betting she does too.
I can’t stand her interviews but she’s actually charming and sweet here, very nice. So is he.
I’m really excited for this movie. Reactions to early screenings have been great. And Jesse and Kristen have been great in their promo. Those videos for Buzzfeed and Funny or Die are really funny.
I’m so excited too! It has Connie Britton in it and I love her. Only found about the movie from this article so I can’t wait to see it.
Seriously? The theater trailers for this movie are beyond stupid- and the TV ones are worse. I can’t help but wonder what happened to Topher Grace- he’s a decent actor, and playing second fiddle to this one note/no range pair is a puzzle.
