O.J. Simpson is in prison in Nevada serving a 33 year sentence for felony charges stemming from a September, 2007 armed robbery of a sports collectible dealer in Nevada. OJ’s long-suffering girlfriend, Christine Prody, hasn’t wasted any time moving on with her life. Simpson only started serving his sentence in December of last year and Prody is already pregnant with another man’s baby:
While the 61 year-old disgraced football star sits in a Nevada prison cell, Christie, 33, has decided to put her tumultuous past with O.J. behind her. She’s left the Miami home they shared and moved to a small town near Fargo, N.D., where she’s found love and plans to start a family.
“Christie’s like a new woman without O.J. in her life,” a close friend revealed to The Enquirer. “She’s fallen in love with a local young man in her hometown. Now she’s pregnant and looking forward to having the baby.”
One person who definitely was not thrilled with the baby news was O.J., says the friend.
“O.J. ranted and raved over the phone from his prison. He said, ‘I can’t believe she did this to me!’
After O.J. was sentenced… he made numerous phone calls to Christie, screaming at her to visit him in jail, says the friend.
“She was trying to get her life together and go on without him. She finally stopped accepting collect calls from O.J.,” said the friend.
“She told me, ‘To hell with O.J. I was there for him for years, and he treated me like dirt.'”

It’s a good thing OJ won’t be eligible for parole for at least 9 years or this woman would have a lot to worry about. She was beaten to a pulp last year, and claimed to cops that she “fell down.” Cops say that her injuries were consistent with a fall, but it still sounded suspicious to me.
Prody was with OJ for over ten years, and started dating him when she was just 21. She broke up with him in the past, but couldn’t quite escape. At least he’s safely put away now so she can move on with her life, hopefully in a more supportive and non-abusive relationship. Killer OJ might be spending the rest of his life in prison.

I’m sure he supplied her with things she wanted, but at a price. She knew what she was dealing with, but the lifestyle must have meant more than the occasional beatdown.
I don’t pity her, but it’s good that she’s moving on.
