Radar: Angelina Jolie is probably full of ‘Botox, fillers, non-surgical techniques’

wenn22075299

I have a feeling I’m going to be turning in my Brangeloonie Badge by the end of this post. Sigh… okay, let’s get to it. I’ve always had some doubts about whether Angelina Jolie’s beauty is completely, 100% all-natural. I think she had a subtle nose job when she was very young (like, late teens), and I think Jolie has played around with non-surgical stuff for years, perhaps Botox here and there, perhaps some fillers. I don’t believe she’s gotten a facelift. I don’t believe she’s had eye work. I do believe she probably gets laser treatments and she gets the gold-standard of skincare. Anyway, Radar has a dishy piece quoting various plastic surgeons about what they think Jolie could have possibly had done. I agree with a few of these assessments.

When Angelina Jolie was asked in an interview several years ago whether or not she has had plastic surgery, the A-list actress and wife of Brad Pitt said, “I haven’t had anything done and I don’t think I will.” Little did she know that those words could come back to haunt her! One top Hollywood plastic surgeon tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that the 40-year-old UN Goodwill Ambassador looks like she could have gone under the knife recently for a facelift!

“The rumors of a ribbon-threading facelift are possible for Angelina Jolie, because there has definitely been some improvement in her face,” Beverly Hills aesthetic specialist, Zara Harutyunyan, R.N., with Cosmetic Rejuvenation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“She could have also had a non-surgical neck and face lift, which would give her similar results. This can be done with treatments such as Skin Tyte of Ultherapy, which is the FDA approved non-surgical treatment,” Harutyunyan, who has not treated Jolie, adds.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Susan Evans tells Radar, “It’s clear that her skin definitely looks tighter, but she does not reveal any scar in front or behind the ear… Angelina’s gotten some nice fillers that accentuated her cheekbones. Angelina looks like she may have added a drop of fillers (hyaluric acid) to her lips to keep them plump. Within time, even the greatest lips shrink, become more wrinkled, and may need a drop to smooth out the wrinkles,” says Dr. Evans, who has also not treated the Jolie.

Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon Dr. Sheila Nazarian, tells Radar, “Through the years, her nose appears thinner and the tip of her nose more contoured, which leads me to believe that she has had a rhinoplasty. Other than that, botox, filler and medical-grade skincare are very likely.”

“Without filler in the cheeks (near the hairline) and in the temples, our faces naturally droop in our 30’s, and Angelina doesn’t have any facial sagging at all,” says Dr. Nazarian, who has also not worked on Jolie. “Most women (probably Angelina too) maintain their faces with non-surgical techniques like botox, filler, peels, microneedling, and non-invasive skin-tightening, such as Pelleve, Ultherapy.”

[From Radar]

Some experimentation with Botox? Sure. Some fillers here and there? Sure. I don’t think she’s had a ribbon lift, which is that crazy process that Madonna had done several years ago that made her look like a painful piece of gristle. I personally would love to know how Angelina takes care of her skin in general, because I feel like she does a lot more than just “avoid the sun” and “wash her face.” Alas, we’ll never know, will we?

Nope. It’s all due to aveeno and smart water 🙂

    • Jenni says:

Plus she is chasing bunch of kids all day that’s why she is so skinny.

      • kcarp says:

Right! How do these kids get away that they need to be chased all day? Get a lock, get a fence, pay attention and chasing won’t be an issue.

I am kidding for the most part, I just get tired of people staying they stay skinny because of their kids. If anything I think kids make it harder to keep weight off. I want to finish everything my daughter doesn’t eat.

      • doofus says:

“I want to finish everything my daughter doesn’t eat.”

I’ve heard a few parents say this, too, and the way my sis worked it, she didn’t have her own meal and would eat what her three kids didn’t, and that was enough for a meal. she only really ate one true meal a day, dinner.

but b’fast and lunch were “scraps”, enough to get a meal…and that way, she wasn’t eating TWO meals. it works, too.

      • V4Real says:

Best reply I heard from a well to do co-worker with 5 kids was this.

Another co-worker asked “Do you stay so thin by running after your five kids all day.”
No said the mother, that’s how my nanny stay thin. I work for a living.

      • London Girl says:

So the nanny isn’t working for a living?

      • Granger says:

Uh… yeah. What a weird thing to say. I’d say running around after five kids all day is a hell of a lot more “work” than a desk job. (Maybe the woman was an ER doc or something, but still…)

    • shannon says:

OMG. best comment of the day.

    • doofus says:

oh, you’re as bad as mimif…

…which is to say, not bad AT ALL.

    • kaye says:

love it! gotta go and chase after my kids now 🙂

    • Cleo says:

      1) These type articles that periodically get done on always beautiful celebrities, seem to be written for the express purpose of advertising the latest cosmetic procedures and techniques by the cosmetic surgery/skin care industry on the west/east coasts to get desperate wishful thinkers in their doors. You can see it in the text, as these doctors are hyping what the latest and greatest procedures du jour is: so they say Jolie could have gotten a, b or c done. They know that most women walking into their clinics want her face, in part or whole, so they spin it as if they can actually replicate what makes her beautiful on their mugs. I mean they’re not going to pick someone like Chelsea handler (or her ‘friend’ ha!)

      2) the cosmetic surgery industry has been itching to latch onto Angelina for a good 10yrs. They’d love to claim responsibility for her continuing beautiful face and bone structure, but Jon voight might take exception. She literally has his exact facial bone structure including his cheeks. Her eyes are her moms and her lips are from both. She’s the gold standard of faces – a woman know for her beauty. These quack salesemen tried to do it when she was mid 30s but it was ridiculous because she was still too young and never showed up anywhere looking tweaked and yanked and stuffed, though I always knew she’d get the tabloid faux analyzing from them as soon as she hit 40.

      • Annie says:

Who cares what she does? It’s her business. She’s gorgeous.

      • Dee's says:

Angelina modelled for Shiseido JAPAN once, looking absolutely ravishing. Just gorgeous face!

      • hmph says:

Angelina has had at least two nose jobs, let’s be truthful here because it’s That obvious.
She also got a chin job to shape her face into a more of an oval face shape rather than the round one she used to have.
She was a cute 9 year old or whatever but in her teens and early twenties she was never considered beautiful UNTIL she got the second nose job and chin job plus God knows what else.
She does look completely different from her early ‘hackers’ days. No one was saying she was beautiful back then, quite the opposite.
Some people have speculated that she had her cheeks done too but who knows. She has for sure gotten some botox/fillers and laser peels, her facial skin has that look to it.
She was never considered ugly mind you, just not the beauty she was hailed to be after her surgeries.
The forhead veins could be due to a low carb to no carb diet.

      • Cleo says:

        @HMPH

I don’t know why you’re trying to revise history to people that were around back then? Lol Angelina was beautiful from jump. I remember guys losing their minds over Hackers Angelina. You do know she was the lead actress playing sexy, beautiful acid burn, so you saying she wasn’t is hysterical. Why would they cast her? Angelina was cast as the object of desire and beauty in several rock music videos as a mid teen late teen, (Rolling Stones, Meatloaf, etc) so you saying she wasn’t beautiful or known as a beautiful young woman is preposterous to me, and just so easily googable. Even with her bowl cut in Foxes she was supposed to be the cool beauty who seduces the other girls into doing things they shouldn’t, then of course there were all the print stories and critics talking about her otherworldly beautiful face.

        Come now.

      • For the nose job people–
        https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/4e/a1/89/4ea189e25b24c841fa5dff988c10c7a8.jpg

I like this because the shots are lined up, the same profile….

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@Virgilia Coriolanus, who posted those wonderful side by side profile comparisons of Angelina Jolie Pitt–photos taken when she was a teenager against more recent photos–proving beyond all doubt that she has ‘not’ had a nose job.

Every time somebody makes the claim that Angie has had noses job(s) by using ‘side view against center view’ photos, I’m going to post this photo compilation to prove them wrong. Thank you! 🙂

      • Pondering thoughts says:

I keep thinking that cheekbone implants are the new facelift. Incision is in your mouth so nobody sees it.
It is just suspicious when those wrinkles which appear with a “big smile” do stop below the cheekbone. I think that that usually means “implants”.

    • Alessio says:

      LMAO

    • Hudson Girl says:

I know we’re supposed to be self-righteously judgmental on these posts. But, really, I’m just taking copious notes on the most up to date procedures!

      • Ennie says:

        I know!
I’d love to know how she cares for her skin.
I wish someone would be able to ask her routine, what she does, what sunscreen she uses, what doctor she goes to!

    • Brodie says:

She and Kathie Lee Giford have that same forehead vein thing. Maybe they share a surgeon??

      • Cleo says:

        @brodie

It’s weird how people get so much disinfo about simple physiology. Forehead veins are genetic. There are pics of Angelina at 23 with a pronounced vein in her forehead. Julia Roberts is notorious for hers since she was very young, Rob Pattinson has one too.

      • Tarsha says:

Veins and arteries are not something that can be created or altered in surgery. Everyone has a major vein in their forehead. Some simply stand out and are prominent.

      • lola says:

Julia Roberts has forehead veins worse than Angie’s, strange how no one mentions her. Michelle Pfeiffer also has the forehead veins, and always has. You’d be surprised how many women in HW have the forehead veins, but everyone concentrates on Angelina Jolie Pitt’s.

      • Lippy says:

Is that why Angelina gets botox for the big forehead vein?

    • lola says:

      Now, that’s funny.

    • LeAnn Stinks says:

Even if you were joking, was it really necessary to take a swipe at Aniston? Sorry to break it to you, but Angelina is not perfect either, far from it. Sheesh…

    • Arianeh Ieiils says:

The crazies. Out in full force. Wowwwww

  2. mimif says:

I thought she was just a Perfect Celestial Being™?

    • V4Real says:

      Nope, that would be Lupita.

    • paola says:

She wouldn’t be an actress if she wasn’t a little vain too.
With all the good things does I think she can use all the botox in the world and all the fillers in the universe. All hail the Saint Jolie!
      Mimif has your phone arrived??

    • Kiddo says:

I think you have her confused with tea.

  3. minx says:

I think she’s had some subtle work done. She looks good and not weird, so kudos to her and her doctor.

    • smcollins says:

Agreed. I’m sure she’s been “refreshed”, but all in all, I think her beauty is natural. Some people are just genetically blessed…damn them! 😉

      • lola says:

Everyone has seen Angelina’s pictures since she was a child, she was a naturally beautiful child that grew into a naturally beautiful woman. Look at her parents, its not as if they were gargoyles, the woman hit the genetic lottery, as did her husband. So, people have been trying to tear her down since she first became famous, in her early twenties.
Please, since when did Radar become the beacon of truth.
Angelina Jolie Pitt is a beautiful woman, people need to accept that and move on.

    • Freddy Spaghetti says:

I agree too. Great genes and very subtle work.

      • Wilma says:

Yes, her mother aged beautifully and whatever AJ has done besides having good genes is quality work. I don’t really care whether people get surgery or other treatments, but I feel that a lot of celebs go overboard or don’t love themselves enough to know when to stop.

      • lola says:

Look at her and Brad’s children, they are beautiful children, have they had “fillers and Botox”. I hate when rags like Radar are actually believed, it makes you wonder about the mentality of the believer.

      • Kassidy says:

        @ Lola –
Brad & Angie’s children are little kids so they wouldn’t need Botox or fillers. Being beautiful doesn’t mean you are exempt from the aging process. Your face changes as you get older, which is why people start getting treatments & cosmetic surgery.
Who cares if she got some botox, fillers or even a little subtle work done? She hasn’t gone overboard or become hideous looking.

    • Tate says:

I am not a die hard Angelina fan but I have to agree. If she had some work done it is subtle and she looks great.

    • Luca76 says:

Agreed she also gained a tiny bit of weight recently (just a bit) and it looks great on her.

      • laura in LA says:

Yep, she looks better/happier with some weight on her.

It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that a lot of actors in Hollywood, at least those known for their looks, have had nose jobs early in their careers. But since they weren’t famous yet, it’s almost as if it doesn’t count. And no one considers injections as “plastic surgery”, though they can be very invasive…

Whatever her laser treatments or skincare regimen are, I want to know!

    • Lauren II says:

Angie is gorgeous, but the vein in her forehead looks painful. Angie looks better with a fuller face and figure. Anorexic is very aging and unhealthy.
My husband thinks Angie is plastic and gross. His words.
He loves Rachel McAdams though. Says “She is natural .”

      • lola says:

Look at Julia Robert’s, she has about 6 forehead veins that bulge horribly, she can’t help it, but in August, Osage County, that’s all I could see, was forehead veins.

    • Carmen says:

Whatever she’s had, it looks damn good!

    • Granger says:

Definitely some subtle work. I just don’t think it’s possible to have six children and still look so refreshed and unlined. I know she has a lot of help, but seriously? Where are the undereye circles from so many sleepless nights?

  4. V4Real says:

Watch it Kaiser. When I said AJ had a nose jobs, the die hard fans lost their s-it.
I doubt she has had a facelift. I wouldn’t rule out fillers but botox, nah, she can still move her facial muscles. She has quite a few laugh lines and wrinkles which botox is supposed to temporarily remove.

    • AntiSocialButterfly says:

This was my experience once, too. Def refinement of the tip of nose and Botox sans doute.
Fillers are certainly possible as she has some chicken cutlet cheeks in some photos, but seh could also practice microneedling ( I’m thinking of giving that a go, myself) for collagen growth induction).
In any event, she is just beautiful- there’s no arguing that.

    • claire says:

Really?! I thought it was common knowledge she had a nose job as a teen. There’s irrefutable photo evidence out there.

      • Suzanne says:

I think SHE thinks she’s a lot more attractive than she actually is. LOL Granted she looks lovely from the neck up some times…but the rest looks like a wall in the subway with graffiti all over it…and 9 times out of 10…her face is so shiny with oil…it’s distracting. She has weird teeth…so her resting face pose is much more attractive than her full smile. I never thought she was the cats ass…myself. Her or her pouty mouthed husband…with the bulldog under bite. They both need their hair cut and to be scrubbed clean.

      • kay says:

wow, suzanne the mind reader ftw.
        LOL.
do you know how ridiculous you sound? “i think SHE thinks”…holy gods, the jolie brings out the batshit crazy in others.
you should consider joining psychic friends network, yeah?
        sure.

      • Tarsha says:

And what would give you that impression Suzanne? Angelina has never said anything or done anything that could possibly give you the impression that she thinks that. Just jealousy from you.

      • lola says:

There are side by side pictures proving she hasn’t. Look at the pictures Virgilia Coriolanus posted the link to. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/4e/a1/89/4ea189e25b24c841fa5dff988c10c7a8.jpg

    • Dee says:

Her forehead could not be tighter when she goes to award shows. That thing is botoxed to the moon and back at those times. It looks more relaxed in the header photo though, maybe she recognized it was looking overdone.

  5. MonicaQ says:

She doesn’t look like a kraken or a cat so whatever she’s had done is pretty tame.

    Plus, it’s RADAR come on.

  6. neer says:

    ok believe in your lies…

  7. Jen43 says:

She is an actress. She is known for her beauty. She hasn’t gone overboard. She hasn’t lied about it. Brad had some work done, right? No big deal.

  8. COSquared says:

Does she use PureLeef ? It plumps fat cells and stuff…

  9. Naddie says:

I think she’s been into plastic surgery (not many), but it doesn’t change what I think about her, she’s still amazing.
I also loved the “who did not treat Angelina”, lol.

  10. Kate says:

She definitely had a nose job or two, and she was looking super botoxy for a period last year. Like I clicked on a few pictures thinking it was a wax model of her. She looks a lot less waxy now.

I don’t think she’s had a recent facelift, I think she’s just gained a tiny bit of weight and it’s made a difference.

BTW, everyone in Hollywood is doing everything non-invasive. Even some of the grizzled old actors you’d never think would bother, let alone care. Lasers and peels are to them what face masks and serums are to regular people.

    • Brittney B says:

      +1

I won’t claim to know whether she’s had surgery or Botox or not (a rhinoplasty makes sense, and she did look waxy for a little while)… but it’s definitely true that weight changes show up in her face immediately. When she was pregnant, she always looked a little more youthful because her face was plumper. I won’t shame her for losing weight — she’s been through major surgeries, devastating loss & plenty of stressful projects — but it’s clear that she looks her best when she weighs a little more.

    • tracking says:

I agree, a little weight gain fills out her face nicely. Definitely botox (you could bounce a nickel off her forehead), but not throughout her whole face, which is smart and keeps her from looking overdone. Subtle if anything done to the rest of her face. No face lift imo, but laser treatments, ultra sound facials etc. Sure. Nose job in the past (like every other H’wood actress).

    • lucy2 says:

Agreed, I’ve always thought if she did anything, it was a tip of the nose refinement. And it looks good. If someone wants that and is happy and doesn’t go overboard with procedures, I don’t see why people get worked up over it.
I remember her looking waxy a few years ago and thought Botox or some other treatment, but who knows. I agree she looks her best with a little more weight in her face.

      • Rylan says:

I had the oiliest (?) skin into my adult years & hated it until I read that oily skin has less wrinkles because if natural lubrication. I’m 48 & people think I’m 35. Which is cool but I have to use a lot of powder to absorb the oil. Angie has always had shiny skin but is gorgeous !!

      • doofus says:

Rylan, her skin is amazing, isn’t it? people say it looks “dewy”, which it does, but in some pics it actually looks like it’s emanating light from within.

    • KB says:

Yeah, I wasn’t sure about Botox until I saw Maleficent. She was bawling but her forehead didn’t move, no creases or lines. It was really obvious. But overall great work.

      • Cleo says:

        Really @kb?

The top of my forehead doesn’t move when I cry, only in between the brows because I may be frowning too – so I don’t know what you mean.

But here’s a pic of her whole very expressive face and forehead moving: http://38.media.tumblr.com/46cd1614bc5f79a927606ad6abef320e/tumblr_nc2tgrcN0O1s5ew9do7_250.gif

Keep in mind she’s wearing prosthetics and the film is Disney fantasy, it’s not like an indie drama where you’re going to see each pore, and wrinkle and sweat and crinkle.

Here’s another gif/pic of her forehead In a demonic frown from Wanted, name even 3 other actresses who can move their face like this:
        http://33.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ln3qndF8pB1qflan8o1_500.gif

Again..as usual the Jolie detractors and their theories don’t make sense…she’s gonna put all her forehead frowning wrinkled mean bad azzed glory up on screen and wear it like a badge of pride in one film, but for the fantasy almost animated disney movie MaleficentMaleficent where they can CGI anything in or out they want, she gets botox?! Its Disney, they could just airbrush CGI it out if she was suddenly vain enough to not look like she WANTED to look in WANTED. Lol

Please start making sense somebody. Lol

      • taxi says:

Those horns were very heavy – nobody’s forehead moves when it’s weighted down like that plus additional prosthetics.

    • Paige says:

@tracking @Kb I disagree. Maybe a nose job but I don’t agree with the Botox. She has wrinkles ,laugh lines, and she came move her face, including her forehead. It’s evident in interviews she did for Maleficent and Unbroken.

      • Kate says:

Properly done Botox doesn’t freeze your face. Any lessened movement should be barely noticeable. Years ago a lot of practitioners went way too far with it, and some clients obviously got used to that and kept it up even as trends changed. But Botox shouldn’t stop you from moving your face fully. That someone can doesn’t mean they aren’t loaded up with Botox, it just means whoever injected them did it properly.

Botox doesn’t make you look shiny or oily. It gives the skin a waxy appearance. When holding a neutral expression it can look vaguely mask like. There’s a soft sheen, but it’s a completely different look from oily, and the waxiness comes through even when a person is wearing completely matte make-up. Think Nicole Kidman. She wears a ton of powder on top of her very dry skin, but there’s a waxy quality to her appearance.

      • Cleo says:

        @Kate

Not true. That doesn’t even make sense. Do you really think wealthy housewives, actresses and models and soap stars who people make fun of for their frozen mugs (see Kidman, Megan fox, etc) are stupid enough to not get the best docs in Beverly hills? The whole point of botox is that you’re face is NOT making the expressions that wrinkle your eyes, wrinkle between your brows and crease your forehead into lines. If you CAN do that, you’re causing wrinkles.

If someone puts a pic of an actress up with her creasing her forehead, raising it in surprise, crinkling her eyes and fiercely frowning she’s not a botox candidate.

That said, if you see an actress with with an expressive face how do you know she’s even had botox??

Also, ‘waxy,’ is subjective. Pale people with dewy /oily complexions can be deemed ‘waxy,’ if that’s your personal favorite adjective….but there are no secretions in botox and it doesn’t give the skin any kind of sheen.

If anything the immobility and frozen expression of botox can appear serene and mannequin like…but again, since you’re contradicting yourself by saying people with botox can move their faces fine and emote great, that wouldn’t contribute to the people you deem ‘waxy.’

I think that’s just your way of accusing creamy clear skinned emotive expressive Angelina of using, when you have no identifiable proof that she does. Her face is the antithesis of botox if you watched that clip I posted and see any interview she gives.

      • Snowflake says:

        @ Kate
I disagree. I’ve had Botox 3 times and fillers once along with it. I never had a waxy look

    • I could maybe believe a nose job when she was really young…something really minor/microscopic. But here’s the thing–I don’t think she’s ever really obsessed about her looks. Ever. Not even when she was in her twenties. Just from the way she dresses/dressed……she’s never been model ready all the time. Like when she was younger, she was going around in all black, goth make up…..when she won the Oscar in 1999, she wore a floor length black dress, with loooong black extensions. She wasn’t a Barbie doll. Even when she was self destructive and into herself–her wants, her needs…..she never came off as someone vain or insecure about her looks. So honestly, truly…….I can’t really see her caring about her looks THAT MUCH to get a nose job–not unless it was something medical or she broke it….something absolutely necessary.

      • hmph says:

She lengthened her nose as well as refined it. It was short and sort of upturned before with a roundish tip.
She’s had at least two nose jobs like Blake Lively. The picture evidence is out there and very clear.

      • Franca says:

But would someone as beautiful like her ever need to care how she looks? She didn’t need to put any effort because she was so stunning.

      • Cleo says:

@HMPH just curious….are you claiming that Angie had two nose jobs (ridiculous) because its confirmed Aniston has confirmed two nose jobs on her streisandesque schnoz? Most people believe 3. Lol….because it’s almost like you’re regurgitating what everyone says about Aniston’s nose job history. Next will you be saying Angelina is addicted to lasers and has had hairline surgery too?

      • @Franca

We all have our insecurities. You can be the most gorgeous person on earth and still feel ugly, or not good enough.

        @Hmph
Her nose looks the same to me, but thinner. She lost weight in her face, as she got older. No big surprise. However if she DID do something, it’d have to be totally minute because her nose looks basically the same to me.

      • Tarsha says:

hmph people’s noses (and ears) are the one part of your body that continues to grow throughout life. So of course her nose is going to be longer. Everyones does.

      • lola says:

Why are beautiful women such a threat to so many women. Angelina has always been more beautiful than any woman in HW, and that’s just a fact, she can’t help that.

      • MrsBPitt says:

VC…I agree….I’ve seen pictures of Angie with grey hairs through her brown hair. So, if she isn’t vain enough to even color her hair half the time, why would she get a ton of work on her face?

I think she takes the non-surgical route for the most part with great results. Very measured, very successful.

I’m not sure why it’s a big deal if she has done anything, including rhinoplasty (which I also agree happened at some point). It doesn’t make her less authentic or less of a humanitarian. It just makes her human in a business that can be brutal about aging.

    • doofus says:

it’s not a big deal, except to some of her fans. as you said, it doesn’t make her any less authentic or diminish her humanitarian works. I think that some of the fans see a simple observation of possible surgery as an implication that she’s not who she pretends to be. (NOTE: I don’t think she ever pretends to be something she’s not.) sort of like “how dare you imply she’s not a perfect being!!!!”

I think just about everyone in the biz has a little bit done, and she’s no exception. I’ve always thought she had a very subtle nose job early on, and maybe a few fillers or botox. but I also think she DOES simply also have great skin and that she takes care of it with the best creams etc and stays out of the sun.

I also don’t believe she’s ever done anything to her lips. while yes, they do get thinner over time, she’s still pretty young so that wouldn’t be an issue yet.

in any case, she is a beauty, no doubt.

      • Remember–she goes to the beach looking like Morticia Adams. I’m lucky, because while I am basically the same shade/color as her, being that I am half black, I don’t tan. I barely sunburn–without any kind of sunscreen. I remember a few years ago, I was out at the park with my dad during Memorial Day, all day, and the sun was out and hot ALLLLL day. While my dad (who is white) got red as a cooked lobster and was peeling, I became a little pink in my face and arms, and it was a little sore/tender if I touched it. After about 2-3 days, I was back to my normal skin color.

      • doofus says:

yup, I remember the pics of her in the giant black floppy hat and the loose, flowy black clothes. she’s smart that way.

VC, wear sunscreen! your non-wrinkled face will thank you when you’re 40+! Plus, very important to avoid skin cancer…even ONE burn can lead to it.

(sorry for the mom talk but I was a lifeguard for several years and am like a SPF-nazi…)

  12. Snowflake says:

I think she’s had some fillers and Botox. We are about the same age, I’m 39, and when I got really thin, for me, my face got skinny and deflated. A pinch of Botox and fillers did wonders. And looked natural. Angie’s so thin but her face is perfectly done, so yes, she’s had subtle stuff done

  13. Jess says:

I bet she’s had a little Botox, her forehead is smooth and her mouth has no lines, pretty rare for someone who smoked(maybe still does?) and did harder drugs for awhile. Either way it’s not overboard and she still looks great.

    • Cleo says:

Just an FYI: people with defined large lips and a deep fulcrum, typically don’t get those noticeable parchment paper lines around the mouth, whether they smoke or not because the skin is thicker there. There’s a natural ridge/outline around full lips, usually.

*BTW,I don’t believe Jolie has been any kind of regular smoker for the last 15 yrs despite the cat ladies who latched onto that papz pic last yr.like they won the lotto. Lol

Thin lipped or undefined lipped women who purse their lips from smoking (or not) are usually the ones besieged with the dreaded wrinkly mouth. Though there are many things that can correct that today.

      • L says:

“despite the cat ladies who latched on to the papz pic last yr like they won the lotto” *snort*

      • Jess says:

I didn’t know that, interesting! People have always told me my lips and mouth look like hers, and I’m starting to get the little parenthesis near the corners, dammit. I did smoke for about 10 years though, and I smile a lot, aaaand I love the sun, lol.

      • Snowflake says:

That may be, when I tried filler, the woman injected some at the corners of my mouth. It smoothed my creases from smoking

    • Tarsha says:

She is only in her 30s. If her forehead had wrinkles at that age, there would be something wrong. Why do people act like she is in her 50s? You don’t even need botox in your 30s.

  14. MrsBPitt says:

Probably laser and peels, and excellent skin care products…the rest is crap…look at the bio kids…same nose, same lips…all gorgeous! Besides, the most important thing is her heart…100% real!!!

    • carol says:

Agreed. I think she goes to experts for skin care etc but don’t think she had anything done like botox or fillers (OK possibly nose thinning years ago). Her mom looked very good when she was older and same with her dad.

      • Her mom looked REALLY good. Like if I hadn’t known that was her mom, I would’ve thought she was a woman in her early thirties–depending on her styling i.e. sometimes people look older when they dress older. She had very few, if any wrinkles, her face was very full, her cheekbones were very pronounced. Jon Voight doesn’t really have wrinkles either. He has eye crinkles, he has some lines in his face…..but I think he looks really good for being a 76 year old. I would’ve pegged him at 60.

    • Cris says:

I agree with good genes. Plus, with her cancer history, I would seriously doubt she is injecting anything foreign into her body. She too bright for that. She’s had preventative breast and ovarian surgeries. She takes this very seriously. Any surgeries were before all of that happened.

      • Jib says:

I don’t know – she was seen smoking last year, and that is certainly filled with harmful chemicals.

Having said that, I think she’s gained weight so she looks better. I’ve never thought of her as pretty; she actually looks almost alien to me, but I doubt she had major surgery done to her face. Two reasons:

        1. She had enough surgeries for serious reasons
        And
        2. I don’t think she cares that much. I have to admit, the more I see of vacuous actors, the more she is growing on me. Fillers, Botox here and there, like for the Oscars? Sure. Maybe. But I think she sees way too much suffering in the world to spend the time and money having surgery for a vanity reason.

      • Cleo says:

        @JIB

…is it just me, or do others find this continuous BS refrain about “Angelina must be an irresponsible hypocrite of bad character since she obviously smokes like a chimney with her BRCA1 gene,” seriously insulting? I really think its a sick thing to do, they’re basically taunting her and denigrating her whole effort to bring awareness to testing and genetic women’s cancers and pizzing away all of it on the basis of one pap pic a year or more, ago.

As I said before, some of these cat ladies act like they had hit the lotto when that photo of Brad and Angie ‘fighting’ (they were not) w/ Angie holding a purported cigcig on a hotel balcony surfaced during the Sony mess and her unbroken junket.

Was it Brad’s and she took a puff? Who knows. Was it hers? Was it an electronic cig ? Was it a joint? Was it the 2nd one in 7 months, the 2nd one in 2 years or the 2nd one in a stressful week (this was the Sony hack week, where she also was promoting Unbroken around the world and Amy Pascal is calling her devastated apologizing). It was a bad stressful week.

Does Angie get some slack? No, she is now Joe Camel. Lol

Either way, because of one rare pap pic and zero other evidence, you can’t even mention Angie’s work re women’s cancers without some hateful person chiming in saying she’s mostly full of it because she smokes like Bea Arthur on Maude. Or, so they would love.

      • Jib says:

@Cleo, I think it is upsetting to some people, me included to tell the truth, to think of her smoking even after all of her health problems. And I say this an an ex-smoker and drinker. She did appear to be smoking on the balcony, and fighting, too. Does that make her a terrible person?? NO!!!! Not at all!! I KNOW how hard it is to quit smoking. I just hope that IF she does smoke, she quits soon, as she has had enough health issues without adding smoke-related sicknesses to them.

No hatred, no shade being thrown at her. She has 6 kids. I want her to be healthy.

      • Cleo says:

@JIB apparently you didn’t read my post. Or maybe are deliberately not addressing what I said. Could Angelina have picked up smoking again from when she smoked as a young adult, and now be smoking regularly? Sure, she could. Anything’s possible, HOWEVER, I believe because of her circumstances, and not wanting to set a bad example for her kids…she has not.

Why do I believe this? I’ve read enumerable interviews of Brad talking about how Angelina wanted him to quit, and him inferring she did not smoke. Presumably, I took that to mean, “regularly.” Why would he lie? It doesn’t make sense.

Even if you want to believe it was a tobacco cigarette, and not a joint, not an ecig, not Brad’s that she puffed once off…saying she puffed on a cig for a second under duress because of what she was dealing with at the time (Sony hack b.s., Amy spazzing out, her film promotion that was now in jeopardy of being eclipsed by the hack)-does not mean she smokes regularly, then or now.

Which brings me back to why I addressed a post like yours, where rather than give her the benefit of the doubt of NOT smoking( based on lack of ongoing evidence, what her husband has said, what she has said, her health concerns, etc.) some people on the basis of ONE pap pic, like to NOW pretend she smokes, and concern troll her while calling her a hypocrite.

I think they know she doesn’t smoke, but just like inferring that she does.

It’s kind of like finding out she’s not a humanitarian, but a fraud – that she doesn’t donate funds to causes, build schools and clinics…sure, it’s not as satisfying to them as THAT would be, but in the meantime they’ll gleefully take calling her a cancer stick lover and admonish her for endangering her life. It enables them to pretend they’re FINALLY better than Angelina Jolie. Seriously, that’s what they get out of it.

Oh, and lastly….just a clarification….Angelina had no ‘health problems,” she’s a carrier of the BRCA1 gene, which is not an illness..it’s a gene..that increases your likelihood of breast and ov cancer. Angelina didn’t have cancer. She was healthy when she had her surgeries. It was preventative.

Also if you’ve seen the full set of pics from the balcony, this purported “fight,” which YOU call it, ends in an embrace. It looks more like a passionate discussion and not a fight. Not too many people embrace when they’re ragey.

But given the circumstances, you seem to acknowledge it could have been a stressful aituation, fight or no, so why you also can’t accept she could have dragged a cig for a minute and not be a regular chimney at all…I have no idea.

  15. shannon says:

She looks botoxy to me. Very waxy and way too skinny. She actually looks a little older than she is. She needs to gain some weight and fill in that face a little bit….let the loonies begin their descent.

  16. kay says:

She had cheek implants long ago. Her face would fall without them. She’s only skin and bones.

    • meme says:

They are quite obvious in some photos. Everyone is Hollyweird does stuff to their faces and she’s no different though her plastic surgeon is very very good.

    • Cleo says:

Yeah, they’re called ‘cheekbones,’ and she had them when she came together in the womb – her father Jon Voight has the exact same cheekbones and facial bone structure. How do you explain that? Did they get a twofer deal when he was 25, and she was a twinkle in his eye? If so, how do they perform plastic surgery on twinkles? Why does her son Knox, who looks the most like her (same Voight head and facial bone structure) have the same exact cheekbones? hello?

..and yes, most people’s faces would fall without their cheekbones. Duh. Lol

People really get irate and cray over beautiful women. It’s so entertaining.

      • gennline says:

        Exactly.
Angelina has the exact same face as her dad, who has very pronounced cheekbones.
She has her mother’s nose and her cheekbones will likely become more pronounced as her dad’s has as she gets older.
Her paternal grandmother also had pronounced cheekbones too.
It has nothing to do with plastic surgery.
Go back to her old magazine interviews and journalists are talking about the elasticity of her skin and how smoooth it is.
Pity those doctors didn’t study genetics instead of photos.

      • Jib says:

@gennline, I just looked up her mother. Whoa!!! She looks identical to her mother when her mother was younger except her lips are fuller than her mother’s, and I have no idea if they are her natural lips or not, so don’t beat me here.

      • Redd says:

Nah her cheek structure is different in old photos. She has nice cheekbones but they’re not so defined.

Her job is her face so it makes sense.

        http://obamapacman.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Teen-Young-Angelina-Jolie-22.jpg

    • Paige says:

Angelina Jolie doesn’t need cheekbone implants. She was just gifted with amazing cheekbones which she inherited from her father.

    • Emma - The JP Lover says:

@Cleo, who wrote: “Yeah, they’re called ‘cheekbones,’ and she had them when she came together in the womb … ”

      🙂

      🙂

      🙂

  17. Algernon says:

If you look at photos of her as a teen, the nose job is obvious. She’s definitely had a nose job. Maybe she has also experimented with fillers, but I’ve noticed in the last few years that she has quite prominent wrinkles around her eyes and mouth. She is aging, she’s just doing it very well. Do I think she gets crazy non-invasive treatments like cold laser whatevers and chemical peels? Yes, but I also don’t consider that plastic surgery. I consider plastic surgery to be anything invasive involving needles/scalpels, and while maybe she has done fillers at some point, again, in recent photos you can clearly see wrinkles. Brad has totally done something to his face because he’s been shiny and tight and weirdly plump for a while, but I don’t think Angelina is doing anything besides the cutting edge of facial treatments, which if I had her money, I would totally be doing, too. (I just had a crazy good facial at a spa that cost a few hundred dollars but OMG I look 25.)

  18. Shelley says:

She has definitely had some work done. Especially when she becomes skinny, she tends to look shrivelly. Kudos to her for at least making it look natural, even though we know it’s not natural.

    • Cleo says:

This doesn’t even make sense. Lol You say she looks a certain way “when she becomes skinny?” Riiiight. Jolie is SUCH a weight see saw, chubby one year, skinny the next! Plz! Like she hasn’t been the same exact weight (see ‘skinny’) give or take 5 pounds since Girl Interrupted.

You seem to be saying, yea congrats on making your cosmetic procedures that I have no proof of, undetectable and natural looking as if youve had nothing done, BUT BIYATCH I KNOWZ U HAVE!!

Says more about the women who weigh in like this, than it does, reality. Lol

      • That’s what I was gonna say….”when she becomes skinny”???? She’s ALWAYS been skinny. She had a tiny bit more body fat when she was 25-30 versus now (40)…but she’s always looked to be about the same size. Thin, with long legs, arms, big boobs and a little butt. The only thing that changes is her face and stomach–when she gains weight, she gain weight there.

      • Snowflake says:

You are cuckoo cuckoo. People show it in their face when they lose weight, even if it’s as little as five pounds. So yeah, Angie can show it in her face, just like when she was pregnant. And come back to reality, sweetie, no one is that skinny still has a full face. She definitely does fillers and Botox. People need to be realistic about people in Hollywood, they don’t look that great just because of great genes.

    • Paige says:

@snowflake Angelina’ s face isn’t full. Her face is thin because she’s thin. Her face is only fuller when she gains weight.

      • Snowflake says:

Her face is fuller than mine, and I’m at least 40 pounds heavier than her. That’s why I think she does filler and perhaps Botox. Most people her weight have a thinner face, bordering on the too thin side, but she still looks gorgeous

      • Paige says:

I just don’t see it. Her face is only fuller when she gains weight. It was fuller when she was younger when she was about fifteen pounds heavier and when she was pregnant. Now, her face is thin like her body. It’s thin in a BTS pic I saw recently.

      • Cleo says:

        @snowflake

Angelina’s face is not full. That’s her broad faced bone structure. Her bone structure and facial plane is *wide* that gives the illusion of fullness (maybe to you, to me it does not).

When she was younger of course (and possibly when she gained weight, when pregnant) she had baby fat giving her a cherub look.

When that goes away she’s all prominent bone structure, not full face. That’s just her own physiology and the way her facial bone structure is, she’s not you.

  19. Evyn says:

This article is about a bunch of plastic butchers shilling surgery procedures and using Angelina’s face to do it. All this coulda, woulda, shoulda. Why not use Madonna’s mug, with the obvious work showing?

That comment about her lips is absolutely ridiculous. Not everyone is Kylie Kartrashian.

    • Jrzladee says:

Exactly. How about she just has good genes?!! It is so ridiculous to speculate over minute facial changes. I can show you 10 pictures of me over this past weekend on vacation and I look different in 6 of them! As a black woman I happen to have experience with puffy lips and I have no idea what the heck the so-called doctor was talking about!

What’s crazy is the statement is “her surgeon must be good”.. If there was such a thing how could so many stars have missed out on such a blessed surgeon and are walking around looking like the crypt keeper.

I love celebrity gossip but sometimes the conspiracies are worse than an institutionalized 5%er straight out of jail! How about some things just are.

      • Tarsha says:

Agreed Jrzladee. Some people just point blank refuse to believe she is a natural beauty, because they are threatened by it so they invent all these conspiracy theories to make themselves feel better about themselves.

    • Tarsha says:

It is just malicious smear designed to run Angelina down and stir up hatred about her, and the gullible haters and Anistonloons latch onto it as if it were mana from heaven.

  20. Lucky Charm says:

When you don’t smoke or drink much, stay out of the sun, drink lots of water, moisturize daily and generally take care of your self, it’s quite easy to have great skin. Plus genetics plays a large role, too, and her mother looked great before she died. My grandmother, my mom and I all look much younger than our age (people who think my mom is in her 50’s are shocked she’s in her 70’s, and when I’m out with my kids I’m frequently mistaken for their sister. Once I was at lunch with my son and the waiter thought I was his date) and I can guarantee none of us has had ANY type of work done at all!

Is it possible Angelina’s had some work done? Sure. Is it probable? No, not likely.

    • GreenieWeenie says:

I think she looks so much like her mom, and her mom seemed to have aged well

    • bns says:

      Not probable? Lol

    • Jess says:

Agreed. When you live a pretty clean life, you can age REALLY WELL. One of my old coworkers was at or near 40 and looked like she just graduated college. She used Korean moisturizer/cleanser/toner and was slim. When she had her first child as an older mom, only her stomach popped out. I hope I age as well as her and my own mama.

Angelina may or may not have had work done but I definitely wouldn’t be surprised if she just got a facial or some medical grade skin cleansing/whatever-procedure. Her mom had really good skin.

    • Antonym says:

@Lucky Charm – only slightly related. When I was in HS one of my dad’s coworkers ran into us at the store and assumed that I was my dads SO. (He’s always looked really young for his age.) Your story about your son reminded me of that incident….20 years later and I’m still mortified. LOL

  21. Anaya says:

Eh, so what if she’s had some minor work done. I think Angelina looks fantastic regardless.😃

  22. platypus says:

Well, that was a non-story. Her forehead hasn’t moved since 2005.

    • Judd says:

LMAO! So very true…. And a very high and large forehead it is’

    • Cleo says:

      @PLATYPUS @JUDD

Lies. She’s actually known for emoting and being able to move her face, and especially her forehead. She’s an expressive emotional Oscar winning actress. They don’t give them out to blowfish who can’t move their faces, ask Rachel.

Nice try, but the snark is always a fail when it has no basis in reality.

Women just come off looking like mean bitter vipers who still aren’t over it.

  23. neer says:

Now that the Jennifer wedding receives negative comments, they are turning to AJP to divert the backlash.

    • Emma - The JP Lover says:

      @Neer …

Yep, that’s the pattern, and we absolutely have to keep people from talking any about possible affair with Matt LeBlanc while she was married to Brad Pitt. 🙂

  24. Kelly says:

While I haven’t tried fillers, peels and laser lifts are amazing. I’ve been having them as well as microneedling, for two years and only wish I had started earlier. I don’t see it as any different as coloring my hair or going to the gym to maintain my weight. These tools are everyday now. If that’s what she’s doing, more power to her.

    • Tifygodess says:

Has the microneedling made a pretty good difference? Are you using it for wrinkles or scarring? I would love to try it but I’m still on the fence. I’m hitting 35 this year and think “A good tune up and some maintenance” is in my near future. Heck I should have started years ago!

  25. missmerry says:

I can believe that lip part, because I just watched some old footage of her father, who had very large, plump lips in his younger years, and they’re pretty deflated in comparison over the years.

plus thats one of her trademark body parts so I can see her plumping those.

    • Snowflake says:

      I agree!

    • Cleo says:

      @missmerry

      Hello. Her father is 80.

Maybe check out her brother. Still has big lips and he’s older than her, or her mom in her 40s at Angie’s premiere of Tomb Raider, still had her full lips.

Maybe when Jolie turns 80, her lips will be deflated enough that some women will stop hating her..but I don’t think so. Haha

    • Paige says:

I do believe Angelina is capable of altering some of her looks, because all celebrities are and I’m fine with it. Only if people don’t go overboard. However, it’s just ridiculous to think she’s gotten fuller lips. It’s also ridiculous to say the vein in her forehead comes from Botox. I guess some people have never heard of genetics. Angelina has had full lips and that vein in her forehead her whole life. Her daughter has her lips. It’s all HERS.

  26. Colette says:

Congrats to Angie for executive producing,”The Breadwinner” and bringing attention to the issues facing millions of girls growing up under oppression.
    A real girl’s girl.

  27. EM says:

Prominent forehead veins are a sign of fresh/recent Botox injections.

    • Cleo says:

This is a damn lie. Jolie had the same forehead vein at 23 when she emotes as did Julia Roberts at 21, as does 20-something Robert Pattinson. It has nothing to do with botox.

Here’s her forehead vein appearing in GI when she was 22-23 lol http://data.whicdn.com/images/28884189/superthumb.jpg

      • Kitten says:

        It’s so tiring right?
I get that vein in my forehead sometimes when I smile really big. I DO NOT have botox in my forehead.

    • lucy2 says:

I don’t think so, it’s a genetic thing some people have and some don’t.

    • Antonym says:

I get Botox. I do not have a prominent forehead vein. It’s also not listed as a possible side effect (because it isn’t), and I’d know since I was just in two days ago. Each visit requires a review of the potential side effects complete with signature acknowledgement.

That said, my Botox treatment is for migraine (so forehead plus) and let me tell you: life is painful enough, I would not subject myself to those needles for vanity sake alone.

  28. Miran says:

Here is what I don’t understand: I perform laser treatments, I work in an office that does injections. Plenty of ‘regular people’ use lasers as well, they’re much more common than you may think. Why are people so judgy about it? Done right they don’t look harsh, they do not age you, so why do people care so much if someone else does them if it makes them feel good? This isn’t directed at anyone specifically here, just a general observation that i dont get.

    • Franca says:

I think people are judgy because celebrities ( not Angie, because I never heard of her saying these kinda things) do anything and everything to look good, but then in interviews claim that they just eat healthy and have good genes to thank for.

      • Miran says:

I can see it in that instance, but I’ve seen so many other people who have never claimed not to have anything done and people just scream at them for stuff like that. Maybe they’re just miserable?

      • Betsy says:

        +1
“How do you maintain your figure?”
“Oh, I eat everything, I’m such a pig! Pizza, ice cream, whatever!”

“You look great! How do you do it?”
.”Yoga, eating right, meditation… I’m very zen.”

Not that either of these is Angelina, it’s just this bizarro world of lying. I’m not really a fan of cosmetic procedures, but I wouldn’t care if they didn’t tinkle on our legs and comment on the lovely rain…

    • Cleo says:

In my opinion: people (see, some women) get judgey and b*tchy, and snarky and gossipy about it when discussing a reknowned beautiful woman. That REKNOWNED part is key. Lol

Some women don’t like giving these women credit for being beautiful on their own, or through genetics (because they’re even more resentful when the beauty is seen as unattainable as thru DNA), so there’s always going to be a sense of ‘Gotcha! See, she’s not so special! Or ‘Gotcha, see I can get that beautiful with the right surgeon too!’

Except, no, no you can’t. Lol

  29. Kate says:

The rhinoplasty is obvious, and the rest is credible. Whatever she’s doing, she looks great. She has an excellent surgeon. With that said, I wish youthful-looking male actors had to deal with this crap. I mean, let’s talk about everything Tom Cruise had had done. We’ll be here all day.

  30. BNA FN says:

Every body and their brother are doing botox now a days. Can’t blame her if she did. IMO, I don’t believe she had a nose job or fillers. I’m sure she uses the best in skin care and she looks good. I’ve seen close up photos of her smiling and she has tiny lines around her eyes. I remember her uncle saying her mother and aunt were two of the most beautiful women you will ever seen, so her beauty is in the genes. Btw, Shiloh has the most beautiful nose profile and I belive she has her mother’s nose.

    • Franca says:

She had a nose job. Most definitely.
With or without it, she still is one of the most beautiful actresses ever.

  31. Tiffany says:

Well, Angie has never jumped on the ‘I am 100 percent natural’ bandwagon. If she has had work done, alright. At least there will never be a air of hypocrisy when these stories come out.

  32. Don’t know WHY–but when I read the title for this, I immediately thought ASS OF LIES!

You all know me–unless it is super obvious in a Kardashian sort of way/…..I can’t tell. To me, Angelina’s always looked pretty much the same, except she’s lost like ten pounds over the years. She’s always been skinny and bobble headed to me. If she ever looked waxy/shiny–I always thought that was because she wasn’t wearing makeup for the cameras (A long time ago, someone said that on here–that if a person doesn’t wear the right makeup for the cameras, then they look greasy, etc)……I wouldn’t discount it if she had botox/fillers–just to plump up her face a little. I’d also believe that she just gained a couple of pounds and it went straight to her face. Whatever she’s doing, she’s doing it naturally, as she skill has eye crinkles, and her forehead has always been smooth, and she can move her face like always. I don’t REALLY care either way, because it’s not like she’s on a I’M ALL NATURAL brigade like Kate Winslet. Her or Brad.

As for a nose job? Eh…..I really don’t know. *I* think it looks the same. Other people think otherwise.

    • BB says:

The Kardashians look like Killer Klown Kats. Kim doesn’t look like a human being anymore. Then you have people like Madonna who looks like a Madame puppet. I don’t really care that Angelina got some sort of laser treatment and botox, because she still looks like herself and not an alien.

    • platypus says:

I don’t think she had a nosejob, but probably some minor work to maintain her looks without trying to make herself look younger (not trying to smooth out every wrinkle, etc.). And I’m not saying that to shame her or whatever, just my guess.

    • kay says:

agreed, virginia. *i* also cannot see any difference in her nose. and i look at the comparison photos. all i see is different angles in which the photos are shot. her nose can look squarish, depending on the angle.
also, does anyone know if it is possible for two posters to have the same name? i just noticed a “kay” above, who is not me. i didn’t think you could have two same name posters. ???

  33. neer says:

AJP is genetically-blessed human being. She’s one of the very few celebrities whose looks really is an envy to most people. She is NOT vain. I don’t believe she has work done anything on her face.

Below are what she said about beauty/looks/ appearance:

    1) “I haven’t had anything done and I don’t think I will,” Jolie said. “But if it makes somebody happy, then that’s up to them.”I’m not in somebody else’s skin to know what makes them feel better about themselves. But I don’t plan to do it myself.”

    2) “I find flaws attractive.”

    3) “I like to see age on faces.”

    4) “I don’t take it very seriously (being acclaimed by media as “the most beautiful woman in the world). You can’t take something like that very seriously. You can be flattered but not take it very seriously. As long as Brad thinks I’m beautiful. As long as… I just don’t think about beauty. I don’t. I wake up and I want to be a smarter person. That’s my focus. But I feel like that’s what I am encouraging certainly my girls to… that if they can make their inside, and who they are really, really stunning then everything falls together.

    5) “I don’t see myself as beautiful, because I can see a lot of flaws. People have really odd opinions. They tell me I’m skinny, as if that’s supposed to make me happy. But I feel better when I have more weight on me. So it’s when I’m not feeling like myself that people are telling me I look great. It’s so strange. No matter what, somehow it’s like I’m not enough,”

    6) “I don’t feel pretty when I’m made up,…….I feel beautiful when I’m in the middle of nowhere and I’m sweating and I’m tired and I’m working really hard – or when I’m just being a mom.”

    7) “I felt beautiful when I was in Cambodia [for Tomb Raider]. I was sweaty, and my hair was matted and all over the place. And I was happy and hot and accomplishing a lot and running around, and I could feel my heart beating, and I felt beautiful. (Feeling beautiful & happy despite sweating) And barefoot or first thing in the morning, I feel beautiful. Because I feel like me. I didn’t always feel that way, but I feel that way now. When somebody just loves you, and when you make somebody happy, when your presence seems to make them happy, you suddenly feel like the most beautiful person in the world.”

    8) “Hairdressers and makeup artists! I’m happy and have a loving family. Anything that can make you feel good and feel loved really does something for you.” (On her secret of her being a beauty icon)

Sources and citations! It isn’t legit until you have your sources and citations!

Until then I leave you with this Lincoln quote: “The problem with quotes on the internet is that you can’t always be sure of their authencity.”

    • Viv says:

I’m sure she’s denied it. But here’s the thing. Celebrities lie. All the time.

Nicole Kidman= “I Am Completely Natural.”

Renee Zellwegger= “I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows.”

Giselle= “No way (will I have surgery).”

Kate Winslet= “It goes against my morals, the way that my parents brought me up and what I consider to be natural beauty… I will never give in.”

Salma Hayek= “Botox, trust me I’ve been tempted—but I resist!”

The work she’s had done is excellent in my opinion. Her profile is flawless, but she’s clearly had at least one nose job.

      @Kora, I thought Churchill said that…?

      • Emma - The JP Lover says:

        @Viv …

You left Jennifer Aniston off your list. She says she has ‘tired’ botox once but now only does facial scrubs and laser peels.

      • Neil says:

Why not just say, everyone lies? Your mother, your boss, your friends, your kids, your minister…..
You know, men, they always lie.
        Politicians, they always lie.
        Wives, they always lie.
        Doctors, they always lie.
If we’re going to generalize, pick a group, any group.

  34. Jayna says:

She’s only 39 or 40. She’s thin with strong bone structure. Why would she need a face lift? How silly. It’s not even believable.

    • Cleo says:

Thank you. I mean her neckline and jawline is flawless, it’s like a swan’s neck — no one in their right mind is going to cut into that for no effing reason. Like you say, the Jolie surgery talk is beyond ridiculous and shows you just how batshite envious women get of other women. Lol

    • hmph says:

She had jowls in her early twenties (and her skin was horrible in that leaked video where she was buying heroin). She’s definitely had a non invasive lift.

  35. The Original G says:

99% of women could have the procedures listed and still look nothing like her.

I’m older than her and get a little something-something to smooth things over. It doesn’t make me a bad person.

  36. anniefannie says:

There was a picture ages ago ( I think it was this site as I’m almost exclusive CBer) that showed what looked like a rather wide thread under the surface of her skin that went from her jaw line and ran to her ear. I think it’s was referred to as a jaw tightening treatment.
No shade here though, it’s subtle work and she remains looking like her authentic self.

    • mer1 says:

I respectfully disagree that she looks like her *authentic self*. People can age well but they dont usually become greatly different looking as they get older and more attractive in the way she did. And if you look at younger pictures of her, yes, people thought she was attractive but she was not beautiful or, you can disagree that she was, but not beautiful in the way she became. You just have to look at the pictures first … the Radar piece has pictures but really lagged behind by not showing the older pictures of her (not sure if it was late teens or early 20s when the major change happened).

With the original nose – which it is so clear she had work done – she would look much different. Yes, people say … well that is what they do in Hollywood, but lets be clear that she is playing the Hollywood *game*. She is good at projecting a certain image but people only change so much. There was some reason the Hollywood people (in Sony email thread) did not like her – she was smart not to put anything too telling in emails but on the phone/in person can be a whole other story. (They did not sound like prizes there at times either, obviously, but business is business.)

And if some other celeb (there is an obvious one) said they did not have work done but left out all the other treatments they did, they would be greatly critiqued – and have been here.

It is just important to remember she is a human being and flawed – I appreciate that Kaiser was thoughtful about this here – and not put her up on such a pedestal. sorry for those who cannot bear to hear things like this about AJ.

      • anniefannie says:

I guess when I refer to her “authentic self” I’m referencing since she’s been in the public eye I can’t discern any major differences. While she may or may not have had major work I appreciate those that use work to enhance as opposed to chase the perfect feature. The fact that there’s a discussion about “if” she’s had work supports that’s it’s been artfully done.

      • mer1 says:

Okay, that is fair. I cannot go back to trace the photos but I do think some work (the nose) was maybe even after Gia (I do not recall exactly) or at least some of it. As these *experts* said they felt it had been continuing work in that area.

Also her skin is unnaturally perfect other than a few crinkles (?). Anyway, I am not against *enhancing * per se although I am pretty much a naturalist in general.

I think if they (Radar) had really done a more thorough job, they could have shown it better – but I suppose they will never know for sure without her admitting it or a doctor saying so. Thanks for the discussion.

      • Cleo says:

        @meri

Your post confuses me. Believe me, AJs fans know about her flaws, mainly because AJ has seen fit to discuss them first before anyone else has. She’s a woman who has matured and evolved in an amazing and admirable way. She truly seems to focus on living a fullfull substantive life of meaning and purpose and doesn’t sweat the small stuff.

Which is why articles like these, and the snarky obviously bitter posts denigrating her and her motives and inventing bad deceptive behavior always leave me scratching my head.

How are you gonna ‘gotcha,’ a woman who never claimed to be what you seem to wanna insist she is. She’s no even that vainvain as actresses go, she doesn’t focus on outward appearances (fashion, hair, makeup) its a tool of her business but she’s usually less than interested. She got the most beautiful tag not because she lobbied for it, but because people have eyeballs.

Sorry, she’s always been beautiful. Sorry if that hurts you. You can claim she had surgery every since she was 17, it won’t change the fact we can watch a video of her at 16 and see how flawless she was.

        Ya make no sense. Lol

What bothers me, are this same group of obviously bitter and envious types who claim fans think she’s without flaw and a ‘saint,’ (how they love THAT word) – when we don’t. I think mostly fans scratch their heads at why she remains your target in this kind of silly talk when this is the last woman who’s only the sum of her parts.

      • mer1 says:

Cleo, sorry for any confusion. If you took a step back and read the responses from AJ fans with a bit of space, you would see what I am talking about. There is not a sense of reality while people may *say* they appreciate that she acknowledges her flaws (I do not know that she does, people -you- say this), uber fans do not seem to want to believe she has any. Sorry – that is the impression. If you all think otherwise, then perhaps read the next time there is an AJ post.

And I said she was attractive — but it was a different kind of attractive. It would not have morphed into this kind of beauty. She is beautiful, for sure, but it is not because she is naturally so or did not greatly work at it, while giving the impression otherwise. Something that other celebs get greatly taken to task for – which I guess was the point of the Radar piece.

      • Cleo says:

        Also, @mer1

I wouldn’t use the Sony hack and a legendary evil diabolical sow like Scott RudinRudin screaming at Angie because she’s absconding with a director he wants, as her industry not liking her. Jolie gets paid the big bucks, gets shite greenlit, sits at the top of the Hollywood food chain, has gotten all of the great award wins from her industry and peers (unlike others – ahem) , and those same peers are usually gushing over her in admiration.

Seriously..where are you getting this stuff? Lol

    • Cleo says:

      @anniefannie

Come on. You know it’s BS when a post has no link.

That said, I know what pic you’re talking about, Angie was in Venice shooting the tourist, the sun hit her a certain way, and the musculature connecting her jawline via neck to her skull, basically striations of muscle that you can see on some people with sharply defined jaws and not an excess of body weight, was shown in high relief.

Because most of us are cows with jowls and double chins, people were like :eeew what is that?!’ Well Elsie, that’s the muscle and bonebone on her head…you have it too, it’s just buried in hog malls. Lol

Other people found pics of this muscle in high relief on other pics of her dating back to her teens and early twenties.

But at the time, a tabloid took advantage of this odd pic and used it to write an ‘Angie gets a facelift at 33?’ story

      • Betsy says:

“Because most of us are cows with jowls and double chins, people were like :eeew what is that?!’ Well Elsie, that’s the muscle and bonebone on her head…you have it too, it’s just buried in hog malls. Lol”

        That seems unnecessary.

      • anniefannie says:

        @ cleo
I’m not sure I understand the inference that my neglect to post the link ( pure laziness) somehow undermines my authority while then acknowledging that you’ve seen it!?
I really have no skin in the game other than to acknowledge that if she’s had work it’s been excellent. I don’t veiw posting as an opportunity to square off but more to add to the discussion….

      • Cleo says:

My sincerest of apologies @anniefannie – but typically when someone wants to ‘add to the discussion,’ they try to give as much info as possible.

        You didn’t.

I felt that you recalled this fictious tabloid ‘facelift’ pic controversy from 7 yrs ago that had been disproven and dismantled, and so you alluded to it, but kept the origins of the story (tabloid) close to the vest.

If that wasn’t your intention, I apologize.

However, the end result of your inference is that an article you claim to have seen was written alleging a facelift with a proven ‘scar’ – meanwhile the reader of your post is left in the dark that its origins were tabloid and bullshite. The way you wrote it, it could have been Newsweek.

A lot of people do this with tabloid stories and the JPs.

Like they could claim the twins had a genetic disease, because they read it in an article and leave out that it was STAR alleging they had downs syndrome.

      • anniefannie says:

@ Cleo I post occasionally because I enjoy the back and forth as well as I mentioned, add to the discussion. You seem hell bent on challenging even the mildest of assertions. I think it’s fair to say there’s no way to make a determination as to the wether Angelina’s had surgery or not. My overall point was that if she did it’s excellent work! Can we leave it at that?

      • anniefannie says:

Here’s the picture. After it was posted numerous plastic surgeons wade in to say it looked to be a thread pull for the neck and jaw.
Now I don’t think its definitive but it certainly would raise questions

        http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1252819/Bizarre-marks-Angelina-Jolies-neck-prompt-plastic-surgery-rumours-jets-Venice-Brad-Pitt.html

    • KB says:

Yeah, I remember that. It was like a bizarre, bulging vein or muscle or something. I think people were saying it was like a lower facelift or neck lift. I figured it was from botox near the area or something. Other muscles make up for the ones that have been paralyzed.

      • Cleo says:

It was no ‘bulge,’ it was a muscle striation (connective tissue) that connects her lower jaw to her neck and skull. It’s just HER physiology.

…and I guess someone saying she got botox in her neck and corner bone of her lower jaw at 33, is more believable than someone saying she had a necklift at 33. But both are preposterous.

Still many cherish that photo of Angelina’s head and neck musculature and craft some very weird sci fi around it.

  37. phlyfiremama says:

Wow, I am going to start investigating some of those treatments!! I already use high grade skin care products, have a had a couple of botox forehead treatmens, and am a HUGE fan of IPL photofacials Time to check out peels and ultherapy!! This has been one of the best non-advertisement (advertisent) articles I’ve read yet on non invasive options~great summary.

  38. KiddVicious says:

She also got a chin implant at the same time as her first nose job. In earlier modeling photos her chin isn’t as strong. Now she has the same chin and nose as her brother.

I’m not a Brangaloonie but I think she’s gorgeous and if I thought I could find a doctor to do as great as work I’d get the same chin. I’d probably end up looking like Jay Leno.

    • Cleo says:

      @kiddvicous

Are u kidding me? Lol, so you think she and her bro went in for their chin implant surgeries at the same time? What about their Dad who has the same bone structure? Haha

Also, how then do you explain her and her son Knox having the exact same chin and facial bone structure? Take a look:

      http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/04/06/article-2304733-191F35E0000005DC-418_634x495.jpg

Psst, also…her chin possibly wasn’t as strong to you, because her face had that baby fullness in her teens through her mid to late twenties. As the fullness of youth goes away, the great bone structure is in high relief. Not exactly a mystery.

Plz. Also, it’s great you think she’s beautiful, but it becomes a backhanded compliment when you imply its all fakeity fake -that kind of shows it for the blatant snarky diss it is.

      • KiddVicious says:

No, that’s not what I said. She got a chin implant and now looks like her brother. They didn’t have the same chin before, they do now. She now has the bone structure that he was born with.

I’m not dissing her anymore than anyone else on here is. As many others have stated, she’s lied about her plastic surgery and botox. I don’t care what she’s done to herself, she’s gorgeous, but she shouldn’t lie. So I’m not sure why you’re choosing to jump on my post.

She and Knox have the same bone structure because it’s in their DNA, the strong chin skipped her. It can happen.

      • Cleo says:

        @kiddvicous

Jolie and Jamie don’t have the same chin, Jamie has a cleft in his, Jolie’s is more heart shaped.

You know I could get behind some of these theories if for once they made sense. But the Jolie plastic surgery talk always goes to such insane places. Like I’ll post a pic of her at 14 and 16 with the same chin she has today side by side all pretty perfect, and someone will say, ‘yes it’s a perfect heat shaped chin here at 14, but she wanted it a bit more perfect and heart shaped so she went under the knife at 16.’

        Really? Just stahp.lol

      • anniefannie says:

Adding an lol at the end of a post doesn’t make it any less offensive! You seem to be far too invested , while others are posting harmless, speculative thoughts.
        Chill
        (lol)

      • Ennie says:

I think she was/ is beautiful.

  39. Pandy says:

Do we still consider laser, botox and fillers to be “plastic surgery”? It’s so mainstream now! I consider it just part of an anti-ageing regimen.

    • Pandy says:

Oops, meant to add that with her health issues (which we only learn about after the fact), I’m not surprised that she has periods where she looks better. I’m sure the strain shows in her face and then when she’s better, she looks “filled”.

      • Cleo says:

Agree Panda, no one ever wants to cut Angie any kind of slack. …like for instance in the rush to turn her into Nicole Kidman by her 40th birthday, and revise history when it comes to her beauty (they just saw her last yr promoting Mal, now they see one pic in this story poss from tge same time and she now looks soooo different that they can pinpoint procedures? Riiight. Pull my other leg lol) Angelina is also undoubtedly taking HRT which can give anyone a bloom of youth. But haters conveniently forget rational explanations to revise history so the narrative is, ‘ugly duckling non beauty Angelina is only beautiful because of surgeries.’ Except her kids get born with her beautiful face and ruin their fantasy. The more hateful posts will just say her beautiful kids take after their grandparents, beauty skipped over Angie. Its so toxic and terrible. Some women exhaust me.

    • platypus says:

IMO, the problem is that *everything* is getting more mainstream. A look at the plastic surgery culture in say, South Korea, is enough to give you chills when you look at the rising trends in the west. Sure, a nosejob here and a nosejob there isn’t enough for plastic surgeons to build glass walls filled with human facial bone, but I still don’t like where we’re heading.

That said, I don’t at all judge women who do have these procedures, and since I’m still relatively young and too vain for my own good, I can’t say for sure that I never will. Just saying, I don’t really think we should start defending plastic surgery/cosmetic procedures by saying they are mainstream, as if that’s a good thing…

      • Esmom says:

platypus, I agree that it’s a slippery slope. I recently read an article in the New Yorker about the culture of plastic surgery in S Korea and it was disconcerting to say the least. While we would think 40 is too young for a facelift or major plastic surgery, girls in their teens there are completely changing their features.

And the most chilling thing…when the reporter asked some girls why they were choosing surgery so young, one of them replied “so we can enjoy our new faces for as long as possible.”

I found it so sad that all these girls think their natural looks aren’t good enough.

And for the record, I don’t see evidence of major plastic surgery in AJ. Maybe some Botox and fillers but I can’t say for sure. Who knows.

      • doofus says:

“And for the record, I don’t see evidence of major plastic surgery in AJ.”

good think you qualified your post, Esmom. Cleo’s on the warpath. 😉

      • platypus says:

Definitely a very slippery slope, Esmon. The articles on plastic surgery in South Korea are mindboggeling, you think, how does a society end up like that… But really, we seem to be heading in the same direction, where everyone who can afford it will be having plastic surgery, and those who can’t will be viewed as an even lower class of citizen. I read an interview with an aesthetic nurse, who was saying it’s already a big trend among young girls to want their plastic surgery to be very obvious – they use it as a status symbol.

      • Esmom says:

platypus, yikes. I think you are right that it’s where we are headed. It’s like something out of a sci-fi movie or novel. I’m so happy that a lot of teen girls I know (my sons are in high school) are most definitely NOT embracing that trend. In fact at a band concert last I was marveling at how the girls were all shapes and sizes and each seemed to be happy and confident. They all have the same hair, lol, super long and straight, but thank goodness that’s as far as they seem to want to go as far as conforming to an “ideal.”

  40. Tara says:

I remember seeing some weird picture where there was this strange looking thing on the side of her jaw that looked like it was from a surgical procedure.

if Angelina has had a little nip and tuck or fillers, good for her if it makes her happy. Nearly every actress does it today. Like Michelle Pfeiffer said, the issue is when they no longer look human. Just don’t go overboard with it. Angelina has certainly not gone overboard. She still looks like herself.

    • Cleo says:

@tara (I addressed this above) that was a BS tabloid article if u didn’t know it already.

    • kay says:

yep. looks a lot like her mother. (in terms of features…personally i think her mom was really beautiful, her face flowed well…the daughter some of the same features but i guess the dad’s genes made her kind of funky, rather than classically beautiful.)
      no surgeries, just genetics.
sigh. carry on, ye blind and bizarre folk.
      thanks jess.
now watch how people manage to completely ignore the proof in front of their own eyes.
oh, and btw…i don’t actually find her beautiful. she is kind of interesting looking, at best, but beautiful is not a word i personally would use…but the continuing insistence that she has messed with her face is so annoying and so bloody obviously false.
      dayum.

      • Ennie says:

She has said her face is like that of a muppet with her big features/big round eyes, niche cheekbones, big mouth. That she did not feel traditionally beautiful.
        She acknowledges that.

        .
I find funny how many have claimed through the years that she tweaked her eyes to make them more feline. and it is a life, they are as round as ever,
HAil the magic of makeup and good eyeliner!

      • hmph says:

Her eyes are round for sure, but they are not and never have been big.
As for cheekbones, her face used to be round and fuller (she had her chin done), she lost weight but she still had jowls in her early twenties and never had defined cheekbones so she could very well have had her cheeks done as well.

    • JustPassingThrough says:

Looking at these pictures of Angelina and her mother together makes me so sad…it’s just so heartbreaking to think how hard that must have been for Angelina to go through during her mother’s illness and death. 🙁 Cancer sucks. 🙁

  41. helen says:

We all know the person that had four nose jobs, angelina’s daughter and son both have her button nose,it looks the same can change due to light and make up.haters will hate

    • hmph says:

Um, you do know noses change after childhood, right? They don’t stay “cute” and “button” like.
Even those with big hawk like noses used to have small noses with a skislope when they were kids, doesn’t mean they will stay that way.
Angelina had a round, short upturned nose but she had two nose jobs to legnthen and narrow the tip and give it an over all straighter more defined look. Nothing says her daughter wont’ do the same when she grows up. After all, that’s what Angie herself did.

      • Cleo says:

        @HMPH

Aren’t you contradicting yourself? You’re saying noses in our youth will inevitably change (which is true) but you bizarrely don’t think Angelina’s tiny child button nose can grow a tad longer and more refined.

Hope you’re still alive to argue Shiloh or Viv’s nose in 20 years. You’ll be in the same boat with them as you are with Angelina now: trying to catch them in a small window where their nose is never ever really significantly different enough for you to prove anything…

Which begs the question: what’s really the point to your insistence, since it’s not?

You’re basically arguing that what? Jolie was born almost perfect and gddanngut she made herself perfect!!!!

What do YOU not understand you crazy loon? Noses lengthen but the tip doesn’t go from round bulbous to straight and narrow. And it doesn’t grow THAT long in that short amount of time, usually noses grow that long in our 60s and 70s as well as our ears.
Don’t bother replying because I won’t waste anymore time with nutcases.

      • Tarsha says:

Lol You’re the nutcase loon. You didn’t even know until pointed out to you that noses lengthen. And I wasn’t disputing or addressing the tip, ONLY the part about lengthening. You clearly are an unhinged nutty loon who cannot stand being shown up for the lying hypocrite troll you are. Go away.

Nope, I only play with mimif, What I have to say, I say under my normal nick. One day about maybe 2 weeks ago, someone posted under Kiddo. It wasn’t a terrible comment or anything, just weird. I thought it was mimif goofing around. But the use of “Esmom”, for example, or ‘kiddo’ isn’t all that common, so someone was busting balls, I guess.

      • mimif says:

Taking care of your skin is CRUCIAL to ageing: hydration, moisture, collagen production increase rather than decrease, minimizing sun and environmental damage are all important. Acupuncture can help with the first three as well~facial rejuvenation techniques are very beneficial to skin. Just like integrative medicine is the real, viable future of medicine, integrating skin care techniques will get the best results. In Medicine, prevention should ALWAYS be preferable to restoration~the earlier you start taking care of your skin, the better it will look later.

    • platypus says:

Totally agree. I recently turned 25, and I’m panicking already… So embarrassing, I never thought I’d be one of “those” women. To add to your list, I’ve started doing facial exercises as well, which seems to be working pretty well. My eyes are larger and brighter, and my face is much more symmetrical. Can’t say whether it will help prevent wrinkles, but I believe it will.

      • phlyfiremama says:

Of course earlier intervention will lessen future damage!! You are smart to be looking towards the future~and minimal intervention now means minimal intervention later as well!!!

    • The Original G says:

You can take great can of your skin, but you can’t control how your face loses fat (even if you”ve got more wieght on you) and sags. It’s this sagging that can make us look long and sad that’s aging.

      • Esmom says:

Some of us more than others. I can’t tell you how bummed I was when my dermatologist told me that despite my healthy habits I have the type of skin that sags sooner and more than most people’s. Sigh.

I actually think she had two nose jobs, it seemed to be just a bit smaller for a few years and has definitely gotten markedly thinner some time in the last 10 yrs.

      • Cleo says:

        ATTN!!

Sorry @MRSDARCY but your links need to be exposed as fakes. Everyone in the fandom knows these are photo shopped deceptive pics, particularly that tired played out ridiculous FF originated side by side. I’ll prove it with the following pics:

This goes to what I was saying earlier, ever wonder why detractors use the same unclear grainy fuzzy photo of blonde Angie – where no one ever IDs the photo or time period, they don’t even say she was filming and that its actually a screen grab?

Why the better to Photoshop my dear! LOL

In the film where that pic is grabbed (and then photoshopped), Angelina is a blonde it’s a movie released in 1998, called ‘Hell’s Kitchen.’ She was 21-22 when filming.

Angie’s detractors could have easily pointed you to the many MUCH clearer pics and gifs from the film on Google images, but they don’t want to. They want you to not be able to ID the source and get a good CLEAR pic. Well see below. Angie’s SAME nose unphotoshopped, from the same film they screen grabbed NAD manipulated. See her in all her glory. She looks like Shiloh. More than anything you can see she’s had no nose job, her face is full but her same cut jawline is there….a jawline if you notice on MRSDARCYS pic they cut off so you just see the fullness part and not the squareness. Lol people are sooooo deceptive and nasty. Not you mrsdarcy..maybe you’re a dupe…but this is how far women go to smear Angelina

      • Mrs. Darcy says:

Ok Cleo, if that’s the case I apologize, but I have seen her earlier movies and thought “Dang, nose job” multiple times – from Gia/Girl Interrupted to Lara Croft, her nose has transitioned into a more streamlined, less bulbous creation over the years. This screenshot from Gia, no question the tip and nose are wider and more bulbous than the more pinched streamlined nose she sports now.

        http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m6jv7h9msj1rqto9zo1_500.jpg

        http://www.hotflick.net/flicks/1999_Girl_Interrupted/999GIT_Angelina_Jolie_019.jpg (Girl Interrupted)

I agree angles can make faces look different, but not once in the past few years has any pic of her been taken that makes her nose look remotely as wide or bulbous as it was. But I’m sure you’ll liken any pic posted of her looking different to how she looks now as a photoshop conspiracy, but can I ask why it matters so much?
I don’t get why people are obsessed with her being “natural” – what does it matter, can’t you be a fan if she isn’t? I’m not smearing her by pointing out what I see as a visual fact, I have nothing against her and think she’s s strong woman who does a lot of good in the charity world – that doesn’t mean she is perfect or has to be some sort of saint either though.

      • kay says:

mrs darcy, please do view the black and white mario testino photo from the spring time in which her bulbous nose is clearly sitting on her face…just as it was when she was little and just as it remained until now.
seriously, please go google it and tell me that nose has had work, rather than simply looks different depending on the angle.
my nose is similar…it can look smaller or squarer depending on the angle it is viewed from.

i shouldn’t speak for cleo but for myself i can say it is annoying for people to maintain she has had nose surgery when it is very clear that she hasn’t. it is frustrating because it is incorrect and easily seen to be if you look at the recent testino photo.

A “Female First,” link? OMG. Hahaha! The most vile racist hateful Angelina Jolie hating place on the internet, dedicated to deconstructing Angelina via all manner of lies, photoshop, and cut and paste when they’re not wishing death on her, Brad and their kids?

      Kay.

That said, I clicked on your link, despite the known viruses FF leaves for JP fan sites, and that last closeup pic is so shopped and chopped it’s hilarious, it looks like they used an exacto knife. Her cheek bone in that pic of theirs, is almost triangular lady- it’s more defined than Maleficent, and you think that’s a REAL pic??!! Hahahaha..please tell me you don’t buy this…at this point I’d really rather just believe you rage hate Jolie, than to think someone actually fell for this.

  50. Priscila says:

I get that people reaaly dont believe you can easily lose weight after giving birth….but you can. I know that because I lived it! Dont think just because you or someone you know is still fighting to lose the baby fat that everyone else is on the same boat.
    How did I do it?
First, I have never been overweight. Second, igot very concerned about the pregnancy diabetes so during pregnancy I avoided eating sweets. I used to buy half a watermelon (sliced) and leave it on the fridge for when I craved a dessert. Third, I walked , even if it was for just 10 minutes, everyday. Result:gained 11 kg (24 pounds, I guess)
Now, after baby was born, I breastfeed, took care of her, myself, the house and the husband by myself. In 2 months all was gone. I am not joking: I didnt have much time to even think about eating crap, and there are some food restrictions when are are breastfeeding.

My friends are all, but one, having trouble losing weight, I know they have different bodies and life styles but they did not follow my advices. One gained tons of weight , like she was with twins; another found it hard to breastfeed naturally, had to pump it and therefore decide to quit..

So, do as I did and chances are you will lose it too!

  51. Kelly says:

She is only 40, why would she need any work in the first place? People aren’t aging as fast as they used to.

  52. rudy says:

Angelina’s face looks the SAME as it always has looked.
    Absolutely.

Even Giselle who had some ‘simple’ procedure done looks VERY different.
Every single celebrity, including Uma, who had mild plastic surgery looked completely different.

Angie has never changed. She is naturally gorgeous. Great skin and bones. My face looks different in every photo and I don’t even wear makeup or pluck my eyebrows. NO ONE looks the same all the time. Angie has had kids, major cancer surgery, etc. She STILL looks the same.

  53. maggie says:

She gets work done just like everyone else in HW. She had a few years where she was a knockout in the looks dept. but now not so much. Still pretty but I can think of many others I find more attractive. Looks are subjective. I don’t see anything wrong with getting a little botox or fillers. Some ppl don’t age as well as others. She looks her age.

    • Carmen says:

There’s not a thing wrong with looking one’s age. She is still drop-dead beautiful.

      • Neil says:

Absolutely. I think she is more attractive now than when she was younger and for the reason that she does look like she has aged. Some woman don’t look good when they age and others do; genes. But those that have had work done? They don’t look young at all and even if they don’t looked “older”, they almost always look like they have had work done. Like a body builder who takes steroids, they don’t LOOK fit; they LOOK like they take steroids

    • Jaded says:

@Maggie: Age brings a new kind of beautiful to a woman’s face – not a characterless, vapid kind of beauty but one borne of experience, suffering, love, hurt, stress, happiness and life. For you to state that she’s only had a few years of prettiness is missing the whole point. Age and experience make people beautiful beyond any kind of youthful perfection.

  54. G says:

She’s taken some shots to the forehead. That vein only calmed down recently. Whatever she has done it’s subtle and she’s beautiful.

  55. lile says:

Not a fan at all, but she is beautiful and always has been. Its a shame that she spends anything on fillers because if she would just eat a cheeseburger every once in a while, it would be all the ‘filler’ she needs.

    • hmph says:

Yeah but she is prone to jowls. She had jowls in her early twenties and has a non invasive face lift plus her cheeks done which holds her face up.
Some people who gain weight in the face actually gain it in their lower half of the face only thus creating a jowly look and double chin even if they are skinny.

      • Cleo says:

Laughing at @HMPH posting this bizarre jowly Jolie cuz heroin nonsense. The woman can cut glass with her jawline, and everyone knows this, so why do you maintain this science fiction? Even when her face was at her baby fat fullest, she still had a defined jawline, it’s just her physiology. The need for her to have jowls is so weird. Like me insisting Beyonce has a flat behind. Hahaha

Again, you do know she was making films throughout her late teens and early 20s? If you want to see close-ups of what Jolie looked like, presumably while using drugs during some of this turbulent young adulthood, you can.

There are crystal clear film, television, news footage, interviews, candids and pictorials of regular Jolie and possibly even ‘heroin Jolie,’ who thankfully wasn’t around that long….so aside from some dark circles, she’s a pretty flawless druggie, and looks better than most of us on our best day.

Thankfully, she conquered her demons and the wide eyes and dark circles went away and she now rules everyone’s world.

    • Cleo says:

      @LILE

It’s really only a shame if you actually believe Radar. I think they’re full of it. Her face looks the exact same to me and many here.

I guess the point is, if there’s a consensus, its that IF she’s done anything at all, it’s hard to tell and it’s good work – which begs the question then: why discuss it if you can’t say for sure and acknowledge she may have not done anything?

      • Snowflake says:

Because she looks great, we want to know what she does to look so good so we can do it too.

she is a beautiful woman but she’s had excellent work done obviously, those are pics from last week in Burma and you can obviously see she has had a face lift …i’ve been studying her face because I think she’s stunning ! she was born beautiful but she enhanced it.Other things I think she’s had done ; rhinoplasty, cheek and chin fillers, botox occasionally, hairline pushed back a bit to widen her forehead.I can provide links to show the difference if anyone is interested.

    • Snowflake says:

      Oh yes please, links!

    • Jaded says:

      Can you say photoshop?

      • Cleo says:

@jaded ….and bad Photoshop at that, you can see the crayons and Elmer’s glue. Lol I predict she’ll get the grainy fuzzy pic of blonde Angie with a ski slope nose, its the original FF Photoshop nightmare done by Stevie Wonder.haha

    • WILZ says:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QrFhGodWIQ

you really think dailymail photoshopped AJ’s pics from from Reuters to make her jaw angle and neck look like this ? use google and you’ll see those are raw pics that haven’t been shopped and if you still doubt it check the video of her I linked above from UNHCR at 0:27 it looks exactly the same.

I’ll post other links to show the other stuff she had done in a bit. What surprises me though is how surgeons claim she didn’t have invasive work because there are no scars ! cheek and chin implants and even jaw angle implants are inserted from inside the mouth…there should be no visible scars on the skin, and a minor rhinoplasty doesn’t leave a visible scar either.

    • kay says:

hairline pushed back??? ahahahahahahaha. do google the teen photos. broad has always had a high hair line.
good gods, talk about the never ending reach reach reach for nonsense.

  57. Mrs. Darcy says:

I feel like she and Scarjo get a nosejob “pass” when they had pretty obvious work done, but just because their noses were bulbous. no bump shaving, people don’t notice? Her whole face looks different. I don’t think she’s gone too far yet but she has delicate looking skin so she needs to be careful about overstuffing or she will quickly look like Nicole Kidman. I wish these women would just gain ten pounds, they wouldn’t need to stuff artificial fat in their faces then.

    • Lucy2 says:

I think Angelina’s was more subtle, Scarlett’s is more obvious. Both look really great. Scarlett’s in particular really fits her face well.

  58. neer says:

You know why AJP really is a beauty?

It’s because the public knows that she embraces her natural-given looks.
She is NEVER ashamed of it.

People claim she is perfect. No she is NOT and she doesn’t claim as one.
In fact, she acknowledges she has flaws just like everyone else.

For instance, she is known for her lips, but if you look at closely, it’s NOT perfect at all.

However, it’s that imperfection that makes it beautiful. It’s uniqueness. It’s unusual. Difficult to follow by doctors.

So, it’s really her IMPERFECTIONS that make her PERFECT…… err RIGHT!

  59. Nibbi says:

Kaiser! Your badge… Hand it over !

The nose job(s?) seems clear when comparing older pics, and I’d buy that she has had peels and laser treatments maybe (gawd i want her smooth perfect skin… ) but botox? no way! one thing i dig about her is that i have seen so many more close-up pics at appearances in which one can clearly see fine lines here and there, and that she is so incredibly emotive… i mean, imagine her trying to make a plea for distraught Syrian refugees out of a frozen, alien, hollywood face! no way!!
those little fine lines and pinched eyebrows makes me love her even more for being human even while still being that otherworldly beautiful… *puffs on badge, shines it up*

    • kay says:

nibbi. please look at the testino photo from spring time. black and white. tell me how on earth you see any work on that noggin?

  60. Tarsha says:

Oh rubbish. People are so threated by Angelina’s beauty that they cannot believe it is possible to be that beautiful so they have to create conspiracy theories. I buy she has had a nose job but nothing else. Her facial structure is exactly the same as it was when she was a child, and a teen, AND, her biological children have exactly the same structure. Proving it all a lie.

    • Gauch says:

I’m not threatened by her beauty at all, because she’s not that beautiful to me. Honestly, I will never get the Brangeloonies who are just obsessed with her. I just sat through Maleficent, which proves again that she can’t act. She’s probably a wonderful human being, but she’s skeletal and lacks acting talent and I’m not into having role models to look up to and worship (very offensive. Aren’t we all grow-ups?). And I don’t think she’s had any plastic surgery on her face, but botox maybe.

    • Nibbi says:

also, if you look at her brother James Haven you see the exact same features, it’s just crazy. they are male and female versions of the the same face- the straight nose, the eyebrows, the spectacular cheekbones, the full lips, everything. it seems perfectly clear that she just won the genetic lottery. the idea that beauty like that can be produced by the surgeon’s knife is just laughable to me- otherwise all of hollywood, who are all *trying* to get her full-lipped, high-cheekboned, wide-eyed thing- wouldn’t look so weird, ridiculous, plastic, grotesque. i can understand the urge to want to look like that but i really think even the most gifted surgeon could never pull off such gorgeous symmetry and the right balance of exaggerated, but not freakish, features. i think the idea of “cutlets” in the cheeks is ridiculous too- again look at her father, her own baby pictures, shiloh today… if her cheekbones are a lot more pronounced today than in her early twenties, and her chin and jawline more defined, it’s obviously because she is dramatically thinner than she was then. it seems so snarky and gross to attack her beauty, and disingenuous on the part of the “doctors” critiquing her – as if they could produce that kind of result in their wildest dreams. they’re looking to cash in is all.

  61. raincoaster says:

According to Spy magazine back in the 90’s her pickup line used to be “guess what’s real.”

    • Cleo says:

      @raincoaster

*(not that I care what spy magazine is or was) —

Was that a blind item? Did they name her? Hmm. Let’s do the math…

“Back in the 90’s,” her “pick up line,” huh?

You do know she was a schoolgirl for much of the 90s right?

In 1990 she’s in middle school. Was she asking ‘what was real,’ in middle school or highschool? I heard she had a serious boyfriend, and she was sadly cutting at that time. I doubt she had pickup lines.

By 1994-1995 she’s 19 yrs old, and married to Brit actor Jonny Lee Miller – it lasts til the late 90s and by 2000 she’s with Thornton.

Where does your slut shaming of a supposed teen ‘feel me up to see if I’m all real’ Angie blind item (who by the way has stated she never ever did casual sex) come in?

Yeah I don’t think its her, I think they’re lying. Get yourself better source material.

  62. Camellia says:

Her luminous, pore-less, “waxy” skin is probably from long-term prescription vitamin A. You really can’t go in the sun if you use it, which is why some more tanned ladies have good, but not super-refined skin (not naming sun-worshiping names!).

  63. Kaianne says:

I don’t understand why people always has to have conspiracy theory when an artist looking good on their forty.

My mother is 62 years old no wrinkles and has really great skin which annoyed me sometimes. She is Asian descent and I am half Caucasian/Asian, at 39, I have few wrinkles and laugh lines. Mum reckon it has to do with my smoking years ago and indulging in alcohol at the pub on the week end.

I agree, if we abused our body, it will show on our face.

    • Jaded says:

Thank you Kiaianne, all true. I’m sure she has the best skin treatments but I’m 62 as well and people can’t believe it. No wrinkles, stayed out of the sun, don’t smoke, eat healthy, good genetic background.

    • Pondering thoughts says:

That is so true. If you stay on the more healthy side of life it will be a blessing for your face.

A friend of mine is just one year older than me. But she has DEEP lines around her eyes and even on her cheeks (laugh lines) because she tans as if there is no tomorrow. She suntans on the beach for hours while vacationing in the mediterranean in the summer. I don’t avoid the sun like the plague and I don’t use sunscreen too often. But I don’t lie in the sun like a sausage on a barbecue either.
My friend is in her mid-twenties as am I. Except that I look 5-7 years younger than her already.

  64. Amy M. says:

All I know is she hasn’t looked healthy in a long time. She is super skinny and looks like a small breeze will knock her over. I am not skinny shaming her (I am naturally thin myself and get comments all the time) but she just has this frail quality about her I’ve noticed (that I don’t carry on my thin frame) for awhile and her skin has been looking waxy. I know she has six kids and has undergone several medical procedures in the last few years (mastectomy etc.) so I’m sure she has been stressed lately. But I always feel she looks like she hasn’t gotten enough sleep.

  65. Thick of it says:

    OFF TOPIC

Does anybody want to speculate what kind of treatments Dicaprio has had? He drinks and parties and doesn’t mind the sun but he looks younger than most actors his age. For example he looks younger than Fassbender.

  66. GOOPY says:

It is truly amazing that the Angie haters never get that AJ has been Photoshopped since Adobe made it and before that her photos were re-touched and airbrushed like every other model/actress/celebrity- so there is no such thing as “photographic evidence” of a rhinoplasty.

Also is begs credibility that having had a rhinoplasty as a teen she had another in 2006 to make her nose BIGGER while she was preggers with Shiloh. ****facepalm****

AJ hasn’t talked about any of this in years. She did say she was getting a wrinkle from arching her left eyebrow I remember she a photo of that – a candid – but that is gone now so Botox is highly probable.
