Republicans used to be more from the elite– Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. But now republicans too often are people like Angie who didn’t get passed high school and don’t seem to be thoughtful.

Frankly, I agree with j. ferber’s comment earlier. It’s laughable to see a rich, entitled white woman who’s married to a rich sports star rant about being a victim of “discrimination” at the hands of the apparently omniscient and omnipotent “liberal media”. I’ll keep my opinions of her acting to myself, because that’s beside the point. So she’s not getting as much work as she’d like as an actress; Angie, ever hear of INITIATIVE? If you love acting so much, why not WALK OUT YOUR FRONT DOOR, AND DRUM UP SOME FREELANCE WORK SOMEWHERE? Unions holding you back? Move to Texas or another so-called “Right to Work” state. You don’t have to stay in Cali if you feel you’re not getting work there. RELOCATE! Own it, girl. You’re a REPUBLICAN, for heaven’s sake, you’re supposed to know this stuff on your own, instead of having to hear it from a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT!

Annie, “oh, Geez” you sound aggravated that I am calling you on your prior statements. I’m not the only person on this site that appreciate links to facts that back up claims/theories.
Reading your prior posts, you recite claims as if they are facts.
Thank you for posting links, but I find them to be weak examples based on your claims. They mention 2 incidents, both went on to clarify what I wrote in the above post. I do appreciate your effort though.
As for Agee’s book, I did found this tidbit about it and Amazon reader’s reviews mostly disagreed with Agee’s motives, in a nutshell;

I’m not targeting you, please get over yourself. I’m not even really targeting period, I was attempting to make a point here that there is no innocent party in all this. Americans or Iraqis. We all share in having blood on our hands. In fact, if you read what I said, I said that I agreed with your claims. I just happened to also note that I think we should rise above.

Of course, I understand your argument that what’s to stop them from doing that anyway, but you know, it’s easy to stand for something when there are no consequences for it. It’s a true test when you can adhere to the tenets of freedom and equal rights for all when the opposite would be more advantageous.

Is one of the things I said and uh, maybe our notions are different but it doesn’t look like I’m targeting you at all.
