Jennifer Aniston made her first post-wedding public appearance last night at the LA premiere of She’s Funny That Way, the Peter Bogdanovich comedy which Aniston filmed two summers ago. SFTW was supposed to come out last year, but they held it until now. It’s being released tomorrow. Aniston isn’t the lead or anything – it’s an ensemble comedy and Aniston plays a therapist. At the premiere, Aniston was said to be “giddy.” She also told E! News that it “feels quite natural” to be married and that Justin is already back in Texas filming The Leftovers.
As for her look here… I thought it was a cheap-looking black gown, but it’s actually a wide-legged jumpsuit by Roland Mouret. I like Mouret’s work ordinarily, and I would love to see Aniston wear more Mouret, but I’m not crazy about this on her. It just seems so boring and she doesn’t look happy in it at all. But I’m old fashioned – I think newly married women should wear a lot of white! Enjoy and extend your bridal moment. This jumpsuit would have been snazzy in a white or cream, I think.
Some photographers got good shots of Jennifer’s new wedding band. It’s funny because she didn’t wear her ugly quartz engagement ring, but her wedding band is not that great either. One of the things I’ve always liked about Jennifer is her taste in simple, easy-to-wear jewelry. She likes small, delicate pieces in real life and on red carpets. So why is her wedding band so bulky?

doofus, I like it too, but agree, a noodge off the hem of the pants would be better. I’d probably wear this too right after coming back from a nice lazy island week — I adapt slowly after such trips. I wouldn’t be in wow love with it, no, but in an island frame of mind, yeah, I’d view it as easy appropriate echoice — and good enough for the event. Remember, she’s been surrounded by bikinis and Virgilia’s beloved jorts for days. This may seem quite dressy.
I also don’t mind the ring; I think the simplicity works.

And believe me she’s not through. Uncle Terry took pictures, and jorty shorty will be having the “premier” or whatever they do for HBO series, soon, they’ll come out at that time, or, on the 23rd of this month. ROTFL

Jen is wearing 6″ heels under that outfit as it is … trust. She just doesn’t dress for her height and frame, like the Olsen twins. If Reece Witherspoon were wearing that outfit the pant hems wouldn’t be dragging on the floor by 3″. Jen and the Olsen twins always try to wear ‘right off the runway’ fashions which never quite seem to fit their short frames correctly. On Jennifer, it’s the often ‘off’ top proportions (those open, extra wide ‘V’ jackets and dresses down to her navel) and the length of her pant and dress hems and side slits.
Note: Please don’t even go there … this isn’t hate, it’s observation and opinion.
I think, that, at this point, if JustJen decide to have a baby (which, I don’t think they will) they would use a surrogate! Jen can afford it, and it can be hard on an older (and by older, I am only speaking in pregnancy terms) woman to carry a baby, and all the treatments she would have to go through…yeah, I’m thinking a surrogate….I wouldn’t blame her!

I think I would honestly take the cloudy quartz engagement ring over that wedding band, if I had to pick one. I’ve never liked the yellow gold + white diamonds combo, and that wedding band just looks so ’80s.

Gold jewelry never went out of style for me, especially gold with diamonds. But then again, I was married in the 1980’s, so maybe it’s because of my generation. 🙂
@Samihami My mom and all her sisters got married in the ’70s and ’80s so all their engagement rings and wedding bands are yellow gold. I once commented that I don’t like yellow gold with white diamonds and would prefer white gold or platinum, and they just did not know how to process that. Like, their minds were totally blown. You should have seen the stunned looks on their faces, it was hilarious! So yeah, maybe it’s a generational thing. :p
I really love yellow gold, but prefer when it’s not shiny, and instead has a matte finish. Makes for a nice glow and way more subtle that way.

Understated, chic and a great foil for her jewelry. It’s always harder for petite ladies to pull off the long, wide-legged trousers, but I love the cut of the top and the side zipper. I covet the gold and diamond bracelets. Her wedding ring is a little chunky for my taste, apparently she’s been influenced by her hubby’s taste in jewelry.
I think Jen looks great! Actuallly, this is something that I would wear, (if I lost about 15 pounds)! It looks classy and comfy at the same time!

Don’t count on it. Mr. and Mrs. Brad Pitt will NEVER acknowledge these two. Be honest, would any husband want to be on friendly terms with someone that had Handler say the most vicious things imaginable about his wife and children. Uh, no. And don’t say Handler said those same things before, because she didn’t. She made fun of Aniston, and said a few things about Angie, but nothing even remotely close to what she said after she and Aniston became “friends”.

I noticed that too and get where she’s coming from. No matter how much sunblock I put on my chest, it still gets burned. It’s like a magnet for rays, lol. I now have to keep it completely covered at all times because sunblock just doesn’t do it. It’s odd.
I’m the same. My chest and my calves for some reason. I can drown myself in SPF50 and I’ll still end up looking like a lobster if I spend more than an hour with those areas uncovered in the sun. The rest of me will be fine, but from from neck to boobs and knee’s to ankles I’ll be fire engine red.

That’s the scary part, every single guy has DUMPED her. What makes this guy different. As much as I’d like her to stay married and out of “other’s” business, I don’t really see this guy sticking with her more than a couple more years. This is my last comment on this subject, ever. You ‘heard’ Jennifer had a talk with Heidi, but you didn’t ‘read’ what Courtney Cox said, that Brad had been honest with Jennifer Aniston before their split? Really? Jennifer knew before her separation from Brad that he was interested in Angelina Jolie, because he told her during their joint vacation with Courtney Cox and her husband at the end of December 2004. Pictures of Angie and Brad didn’t hit the Tabloids until April 2005, one month ‘after’ Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce. The rumors were so rampant, Heidi’s ‘mother’ asked Justin if anything was going on between him and Jen. He told her no, that he and Jen were only meeting to discuss a future film project. Heck, Heidi and Justin had a date night three weeks before Jen threw a dinner party in L.A. introducing Justin as her ‘new man.’ Jen didn’t have her ‘talk’ with Heidi until after Heidi had moved out of the apartment she had shared with Justin for the last 6 years of the 14-year relationship.
Heidi was truly blindsided and humiliated in the press because she honestly had no idea Jen and Justin had hooked up while filming “Wanderlust.” The definition humiliation is Heidi Bivens being following and hounded by PAPS everywhere she went (trying to do her job), who all wanted to know how she felt about Justin leaving her for Jennifer Aniston.
According to Courtney Cox, Brad was upfront with Jennifer and she even applauded him for that.
So when was she blindsided?

Jennifer is one of those ladies it appears that people either like or dislike for no particular reason. I am a liker…..watching the reruns of Friends, I didn’t realize then just how funny I think she is now. She has a cute figure, so most outfits look good on her and this one is no exception.

Huh, that’s interesting. My niece works for Emirates and says they’re the best airline she’s worked for. Apparently there’s a ton of competition for any FA position, everyone wants to work for them. I don’t know about their policy on gay men, but she regularly post pictures and videos of her co-workers on social media, and while I don’t want to play a guessing game about anyone’s sexuality/identity, if Emirates had a policy of not hiring gay men then I doubt half the men she works with would have gotten the job, just based on first impressions. Maybe those guys don’t fly into into the UAE, but I was pretty sure that was kind of a requirement with this airline. I’ll have to ask her.

I love rings, and have some fun and fancy ones, but somehow wanted a clean, simple setting for my wedding and engagement rings, and I am happy with them.
