You CHOSE to be on covers (which most of the time display provocative headlines as well) and to BRING ATTENTION TO YOUR LOOKS. This is your own doing Scarlett. It sucks that to be taken seriously as an actress first you have to be SEEN as a sex symbol. An actress' talent and worthiness should not be measured by her ability to fit into a certain type of suit (that brings attention to what? oh your looks of course!) or her ability to look like she's forever 25 years old. It must be so sickening to be in this industry. Any person who spends so much time thinking about him/herself and his/her figure is just a waste of human life. Marcia Corss once said that she was literally being paid not to eat and that it was a living hell! How sad and shameful! Nobody should have to go through that. Also, I don't understand why Hollywood women don't come together and turn things around you know. Why don't they MAKE the movies (how many directors are actually women?) and why do they accept demeaning roles instead of full-rounded ones? Sorry Scarlett, you've been accepting lots of bimbo roles (e.g. The Spirit, He's Just Not That Into You, Vicky, Christina, Barcelona) and it's your ability to look good that is mainly shown off there. Why do you chose to be the sexy seductress in almost all your movies? You have a say on what you do. If you want to be taken seriously, maybe consider taking up more credible roles and avoid associating with perverted directors (Yes, Woody Allen is one of them).Why are women accepting all these rules and molds? ANY woman who relies on her looks to build her self-esteem is in BIG trouble. Stand up for yourselves women and start thinking about OTHER PEOPLE in the world. Have you though about the women in Iran lately? Have you thought about the homeless? Have you been to Africa and seen the devastation there? Have you ever volunteered for a non profitable organization?
