Bristol Palin is six months pregnant now & saying words about Pres. Obama

bristol1

I can’t believe Bristol Palin is already six months along (by her own admission) and we still don’t know who the baby-daddy is. Bristol just posted this photo of her bump. I don’t know what you want me to say at this point? Like, did her ex-fiancé get her pregnant? Was it someone else? If she’s six months along, that would put the date of conception back to late February/early March, which means she announced her engagement to Dakota Meyer as soon as she discovered she was knocked up. I’d still like to know what happened there, and I’m disappointed in the lack of tabloid reporting around it.

Meanwhile, Bristol said some words about President Obama’s trip to Alaska. He traveled to Alaska to highlight environmental issues, like the melting glaciers, etc. But Bristol is full of complaints, including Obama’s “controversial” decision to rename Mt. McKinley back to its traditional Native American name, Denali.

President Obama is taking a trip to the Alaskan Arctic. I wish we could add up how much this trip costs the tax payers dollars……….. They probably had to BARGE limousines here!!!!!!! They rented out an entire TOWER at our nicest hotel here? A TOWER!!!!!!!!!! Shut down most of downtown Anchorage.. So many protesters here in Alaska this morning awaiting his arrival.. This is just a joke for us.. I’m completely dumbfounded by his trip here. Why again? And what does he seem most concerned about? Renaming a mountain.

He announced yesterday that he will be renaming Mt. McKinley, Denali, its “traditional Native American name.” But renaming a mountain is not going to make up for all the other ways he has let down the Alaskan people. Why doesn’t he check out our oil fields? Why doesn’t he open our pipeline so we can supply our own natural gas instead of buying it from our enemies in the Middle East… This is just a joke… The next election can’t come any sooner

The President should be worrying about the radical jihadists in ISIS who are gaining land and power everyday as they enslave, rape, and murder their way through the Middle East. He should be worrying about Pastor Saeed and the other Americans held hostage in Iran while we send billions of dollars to them in a horrible nuclear deal. He should be worrying about the economy, which still hasn’t fully recovered. You should be worrying about our broken immigration system. The list goes on and on. But instead he worries about renaming a mountain. Mr. President, stop playing political games and start doing your job. That’s what Alaskans really care about.

By the way, no one is buying the “Denali is what the Alaskans have called it for years” line. I’ve never called the mountain Denali .. and neither does anyone I know … It’s Mt. Mckinley … It always has been and always will be to most of us… What a waste..

[From Patheos]

For what it’s worth, Pres. Obama did focus a significant amount of time during his Alaska trip to environmental issues, including the legitimately controversial announcement that his administration was giving Shell a lease to drill for oil in the Arctic. Secondly, the Denali thing was Obama simply ordering the rename, which is apparently his right as president. And as for “I’ve never called the mountain Denali .. and neither does anyone I know.” She knows her mother, right? Because Sarah Palin referred to the mountain as Denali when she resigned from being governor in 2009.

Glad this was the only Bear I met in the park. -bo

I despise that whole worthless family.

      • JudyK says:

Just a triple + to all of the above comments and to add Shut Up Bristol again.

Not in a good mood…just can’t deal with this drivel from this nobody.

      • Pandy says:

Oh well if BRISTOL says POTUS is doing a bad job, then it must be so!!!
        These people.

    • Mimz says:

I just clicked on this out of pure boredom, and to say that I snorted when Kaiser wrote: “She knows her mother, right?”

      Classic Celebitchy snark ahahaahah

    • Arock says:

Like anyone’s going to take the chick who can’t figure out how to use a condom seriously when they rant about ISIS. No wants to hear some back woods conservative (btw, someone teach her what holes to use to not get preggo) rant about international politics and climate change.
Go have a seat with the duggars.

      • Betsy says:

“Teach her what holes to use”? Ew.

      • JoJo says:

Do you think she knows that when he is talking about ‘Native Alaskans’ he means it in the context as Native Americans?

      • Stoned Housewife says:

as a First Nations person from “Canada” I laughed when I read her words. She clearly does not know, which is funny and sad all at the same time.

    • India Andrews says:

I actually agreed with her and thought she was articulate.

This whole tour just seems like an excuse for Obama to go on vacation.

  2. QQ says:

    FWIW:

    WHO asked her?

    and

Is a Good Thing I give less than the shadow of a f*ck where this broad stands on anything except “Is Birth Control a thing she should do or nah?”

    • DTX says:

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

      I’m guessing….”Nah”

    • Sabrine says:

She’s a nobody and a loser and nobody should give what comes out of her mouth any credibility. One child out of wedlock and you should have enough sense not to let it happen again. But here she is, pregnant again and still preaching her holier than thou morals on others. She needs to go away and raise her illegitimate brood quietly in Alaska.

    • mimif says:

Obama is visiting the rural town of Dillingham today (where Bristol’s dad has fishing sites thanks to his native heritage). My bf has commercially fished outta Dilly for over 2 decades and I can assure you there are waaaay more people who are totally excited he is visiting AK than the protestors would lead you to believe. This is the longest trip a U.S. prez has made to another state while in office! It’s historic stuff and I can’t wait to see all the photos my AK friends post later on today.

      • Kitten says:

        Your comment is reassuring, mimif.

      • NUTBALLS says:

mimif, my friend produced a line of t-shirts that said “I’m a big deal in Dillingham, AK”. Perhaps he needs to send Obama one? Agree that there are plenty of Sourdoughs that are happy he’s there.

And yea for DENALI getting its name back! I’ve never called it McKinley since the state renamed it in the 70’s.

      • mimif says:

Ah where do we get a shirt?! My bf would freak.

      • NUTBALLS says:

I’ll see if they’re available still. He doesn’t work for the company anymore, but happened to be wearing it last week and I freaked out. He’s not from Ak, but just randomly picked out that town from a map and stuck it on the shirt.

They should take him to The Moose’s Tooth while he’s in A-town. My mom told me that it’s the highest-grossing, independent, single-unit pizzeria in the US with annual sales of 6 mill! Can’t say I’m surprised based on the lines there.

Looks like his trip to Exit Glacier was perfect weather-wise. I hope they will show him how much Portage Glacier has receded in the past 30 years. It breaks my heart — I can’t stop there anymore because its changed so much.

      • mimif says:

Ha that’s so funny/random about the shirt. And ditto about Portage. I was looking at pics yesterday and…man talk about a sinking feeling.

Ps who knew Moose’s Tooth was so wildly successful??

      • BarkingMad says:

Nutballs – “And yea for DENALI getting its name back!” I think it’s great, too!

We had the same issue some years ago, when one of our most famous and popular landmarks and tourist attractions was given its rightful Aboriginal name of ULURU. Lots of people complained vociferously, but eventually, the commotion died down. It was a while ago now, and many people don’t know that it was once called something else. Everyone is so used to its proper name that I can’t remember whether “Ayres Rock” is even the correct spelling. I’m sure it will be the same for Denali.

    • Tim Whatley says:

      That.is.priceless.
I would be so smug and self satisfied had I authored that comment. Hat tip to QQ

    • India Andrews says:

He’s visiting her state. She has as much a right to express her opinion about it as anyone else.

Last I checked the US was a relatively free speech zone.

  3. Mrs. Wellen Melon says:

Is she gearing up to run for something?

  4. Tiffany says:

Not gonna work Bristol. I still believe that ex whatever is NOT the father.

    Try again Word Salad, Jr.

    • StormsMama says:

      BwahhahhahahhahhH
      !!!!!!!
      Great comment @ Tiffany!

Word salad jr is perfect- except even that it’s too kind- salad implies healthy!
And her garbage is definitely not good for anyone.

    • Murphy says:

Yeah there’s no way he’s the father. They would have gotten married as soon as the stick was dry if he were. I bet she kept it a secret and when he found out and knew it wasn’t his, he bolted.

      • minx says:

        Agree.

      • lucy2 says:

Definitely agree. Her mother was all over the idea of the military hero as her son in law, you know she couldn’t wait to use that on Fox News, and then…silence. If that were his kid, we’d know by now.
Is it wrong to hope the father is someone WHOLLY unacceptable to the Palins? An environmental activist maybe? A public school teacher?

      • Chrissy says:

        @lucy2
I’m thinking it’s someone on public assistance or closet Clinton supporter

    • JohnWayneLives says:

Totally. I think she’s fudging the dates, and that’s why she got dumped because it’s not her ex – fiance’s baby. Or at least she’s not sure.

  5. kri says:

This Northern Exposure Miley irks me no end. But…what she said about ISIL isn’t wrong. They are a scourge on our planet. Otherwise, please stay in the woods.

    • Antonym says:

I love Northern Exposure, don’t taint it with this wackadoo

    • NUTBALLS says:

As an Alaskan I can verify that Northern Exposure did capture the quirkiness of rural Alaska well. I loved that show.

      • EscapedConvent says:

I did too. I adored it. I wish they would put it on Netflix. The characters were so original and endearing. I had a massive crush on Chris Stevens, the DJ.

      • NUTBALLS says:

EsCon, it’s perfect for Netflix. I wonder why the studio makes it difficult? It’s a revenue stream they’re losing out on.

    • jenn12 says:

She is 1000% correct about ISIS. Where is anyone? Women are being enslaved, raped, and sold into marriage. Genocide is rampant, and they are destroying art and ancient buildings due to “idols”. They’re setting people on fire and beheading them for religious beliefs that don’t match ISIS’ beliefs. Northern Exposure was awesome, but it was filmed in Washington State.

      • Anonymous says:

Well my husband and his squadron are currently deployed in hopes of combating ISIS so that’s where atleast 150 men/women are I can vouch for putting their lives on the line but yours and Bristols outrage of lack of response is definitely noted.

      • jenn12 says:

I have more respect than you can possibly imagine for our armed forces, but none of our world leaders are doing nearly enough to save people suffering from atrocities no one should have to live through. My personal apologies to you for feeling that women should not be sold like sexual cattle nor raped nor abused and that neither should men or children (who are also being used for sexual purposes), and that I feel that a restrained response is not helping people in a very real crisis who need to be saved from some of the most vicious excuses for human beings on this planet. It’s a little scary that we are in talks with Iran, who counts themselves as Syria’s allies and says so proudly. Your offense at my offense has been duly noted. I’ll save mine for the people who need to be out from under ISIS’ thumbs, since I have zero f— to give about the Palins or who this poor kid’s dad is.

      • net22 says:

Finally! Hello? yes the above mentioned by Jenn12 are real issues. Everybody seems to intent on putting Bristol down for her pregnancy and her sex life and other non important things, that they can’t see when she is making some valid points! Renaming a mountain won’t hurt anyone but hardly anything to write home about.

      • MW says:

I am not a Bristol Palin fan, and don’t care at all who the father of her child is, but she has made some very valid points here. And Obama does not have the right as president to rename Mt. McKinley. The name was made a law in the early 1900’s, and it requires and act of Congress to rename it. How would you feel if he just renamed all of our states Obama 1 – 50?

      • Veronica says:

Most people agree ISIS is a problem. The criticism here isn’t at her claim that atrocities are occurring on his watch but the utterly reductionist viewpoint she’s taking on the Middle East. Like, what exactly does she think he should and can do? Waste more time making meaningless condemnations of the behavior? Pass MORE sanctions that will primarily harm the civilians rather than the wealthy political systems? Declare war (which only Congress can do, by the way) on these countries, invade them, topple their regimes, and then…what? Do the same bang up job we did in Iraq, Vietnam, and Afghanistan at the cost of overburdened taxpayers and the lives of military and civilians alike? Shit son, at that point, you’re practically doing ISIS job for them, drumming up a whole new generation of frustrated, scared, and powerless young people who want to direct that internalized violence at a target.

Being outraged about the issue is easy. Finding a workable solution is far more difficult and convoluted process. If there was a simple answer, don’t you think we’d have done it by now?

      • NUTBALLS says:

Apparently, he does have the right since he signed an executive order that isn’t being challenged legally.

He wasn’t naming anything after himself, so clearly he wasn’t going off the rails here. If the Ohio politicians care more about preserving a non-existent legacy with a mountain that McKinley had no association with, in a state he never stepped foot in, rather than recognizing its original name in the language of a people group that can claim that association, then Obama found another way around their pettiness. It’s putting things back to the way it should have been and it doesn’t take away from all of the other important work that a President does simultaneously.

Bristol needs to shut the hell up and learn what birth control is. She and her whole crazy family are an embarrassment to all Alaskans.

      • jenn12 says:

Don’t care about any Palins, and name the mountain whatever, it’s a mountain. There may not be a simple answer to the problem- is there ever?- but this is a situation that has passed a crisis point. The genocide has reached terrifying levels, and the human right abuses are staggering. When Hitler was ignored, he began attempting world domination, and had a lot of success. ISIS needs a more serious and direct solution; what they are doing to their own people (and others) has a level of violence that is horrifying. The measured response is fine to start out with, but something needs to be done to help these people. They are using CHILDREN as sex slaves, they are raping and selling women, they are murdering people in the most evil possible ways, and they need to be stopped NOW. Outrage comes when the leaders who are supposed to deal with this sort of thing don’t do much except shake their heads over it, and the stories grow worse every day. Humanitarian aid workers can’t even go over there, because of what will happen. The control being exacted is absolute, and the people there are already terrified, powerless, and being abused. Having worked with children with PTSD from other countries (i.e. Sudan) and having heard their stories, it makes a person feel outraged and want immediate help. If an a—e says the sky is blue, it’s still blue, even if you don’t like whose mouth it came out of.

      • Veronica says:

        jenn12 –

Intervention requires military level invasion, and there are serious repercussions to meddling in another country’s affairs regardless of our good intent. You’re saying something needs to be done – so WHAT do you suggest? The war didn’t work. The sanctions didn’t work. The continued military support is struggling. The drone attacks have done more damage than good. The U.N. can’t even begin to touch it.

Of course it’s an outrage. Nobody is denying that what is going on over there is horrifying. But outrage is useless if it’s not being used productively. You’re telling me a lot of what’s wrong about over there without really providing any real answers on how to fix it. That should give you some insight as to why the American government and associated global community are also struggling to address it.

(Interesting that you bring up Hitler, because Hitler’s rise? Can be largely attributed to the political fallout following WWI when European and American powers knocked Germany’s legs out from under them economically, plunging the country into turmoil and recession. In other words, a prime example of the unexpected consequences that tag along with military intervention.)

[[ If an a—e says the sky is blue, it’s still blue, even if you don’t like whose mouth it came out of. ]]

Maybe I’m not clarifying my position here enough, but the ENTIRE point is that she’s an asshole. She’s using a very real and horrifying contemporary issue in order to drive a party agenda. You really think this woman gives a shit about civilians in the Middle East? You think she’s significantly educated on the nuances of the political breakdown over there, much less the complexity of the ethnic and religious conflicts? Do you see her using her social media power to bring light on the issue beyond it’s ability to give her a negative talking point about the POTUS? If you’re really so outraged about the issue, you should be outraged that she’s using it to bring media attention to her name rather than the people truly affected by it.

      • jenn12 says:

Veronica, I just don’t care about Bristol Palin. She’s a non-entity to me. All I’d originally meant was that she was right about ISIS, even if she’s an idiot. Of course I’m going to express outrage- it’s genocide we’re watching occur. I’m not sure what to do, but I’m also not a world leader or in government. They should be figuring it out, since that is what their jobs are. I haven’t seen nearly enough done to save people systematically being raped and killed. Now there are more dead people who were running from place to place, trying to escape the horror because there is nowhere else to turn to. The UN has not done nearly enough, and we are in nuclear talks with a country who openly supports Syria. I would say all world leaders need to come together to have a strong military presence and sanctions, and intervene so that we are not watching desperate parents launch themselves and their kids into the ocean on rickety boats or women and girls killing themselves so they don’t have to be sex slaves to terrorists. What would have happened if Hitler had gone on and no one had stopped him? They come to your door next. We need to take a stronger stance on terrorists because they feel more powerful every time they get away with something. They are selling women and girls as slaves off trucks, and proudly filming it, they are killing everyone they can find, they’re torturing and raping people, they’re beheading and murdering in the name of terrorism. How do you not intervene in that? Of course Bristol is an uneducated fool, but she still had a point about more needing to be done about ISIS. Other than that, she just sounded ridiculous. Her poor son- that kid is going to have a million half siblings, between his 2 moronic parents.

      • jenn12 says:

And, BTW- while I can’t go over there and do anything, because I have a family and it’s dangerous and Kayla Mueller comes to mind- I use my outrage to work with kids with PTSD. Maybe it isn’t much, but it’s something. Having seen the latest horror, in which they string people from a swing set and light them on fire, it provokes outrage that this genocide has yet to be stopped. Though I will say this: I find Trump to be a joke, and ignore him, and have been startled at how much support he has. Perhaps it’s the same with the Palins.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Plenty of places in the PacNW and Canada look like Alaska. The characters written for that show were similar to people I knew growing up there.

  6. DTX says:

    Dear Bristol,

As a person who has made a spectacle of herself with sheer hypocrisy and bigotry, why are you not embarrassed enough yet to just step away quietly and have a peaceful pregnancy. No one can listen to a word you say without noticing the glaring schadenfreude of you preaching morals and lecturing the President, while the whole world guesses who your baby daddy is. IDIOT

  7. GirlOnFire says:

She really is one of the thickest people. Her writing is hardly bearable. Obama went to Alaska to highlight climate changes that are severely damaging the unique environment, so she talks about gas extraction…? Aside from her Mother, shes never met anyone who calls the mountain by its original name because she’s never spend any time with Alaska’s indigenous people. Thats not their problem, its entirely her ignorance. And as for this baby… The poor poor thing.

    • mimif says:

Bristol is actually part Yup’ik so…yeah she knows better. She knows exactly what she’s doing.

    • Kristen says:

What stuck out to me the most was that he is in Alaska to address climate change, but…. Shell is going to drill for oil there. Cuz that is totes good for the environment. All I can do is SMH at this.
Everything else from Bristol was just noise and wind.

  8. Alice says:

CB – PLEASE!!! Stop covering anything those Wasilla hillbillies say. They are the epitome of ignorant, low class douches. I will never forgive McCain for giving them a national soapbox.

  9. Crumpet says:

Most people I know have been calling it Denali, so I like that he is officially renaming it. I also like the release for Shell to drill for oil. It is time for us to stop being so dependent on foreign sources for our oil when our lands are rich with it. I understand the environmental impact, I really do. But in this case, until we are all driving electric cars, it is the lesser of the two evils. Not that I think driving electric cars doesn’t have it’s own impact. *sigh*

    • Shambles says:

I hadn’t heard about POTUS renaming the mountain until now, and that makes me so happy.

      • mimif says:

He just honored the original Athabascan name for it. ☺️

This is a pretty funny link. People are so. freaking. asinine.
        http://www.alaskacommons.com/2015/08/30/the-best-and-worst-reactions-to-denalis-name-restoration-so-far

      • NUTBALLS says:

It’s the original native name meaning “The Great One” and McKinley never hiked it or even visited Alaska. He had NO CONNECTION to the mountain and he never deserved to have it named in his honor.

The State of Alaska has been using the name Denali since the mid-70’s which is why those of us who have lived there since then refer to it as Denali. Only the old-timers (some are my relatives) still call it Mt McKinley.

Seeing that announcement totally made my day!

      • Jaded says:

@Mimif…..some of those comments, dear God, there’s no hope is there.

      • lucy2 says:

I think one of the Alaskan Senators officially introduced the bill, and they’ve been trying to do it for a while now, but Ohio keeps blocking it. Which doesn’t seem fair, it’s in Alaska, it should be what the Alaskan people want it to be – Denali.
Bristol is so f’ing stupid she doesn’t realize all the work done behind the scenes, and Obama’s involvement was probably a signature and a few comments.

      • mimif says:

Yeah Ohio has been blocking it for years. But don’t worry, Trump said he’s gonna change it back when he gets elected. 😒

      • NUTBALLS says:

Perhaps Bristol should be Trumps running mate? They seem purfect for each other.

      • doofus says:

lucy2, since 1975 they’ve been trying. and yes, Ohio blocks it at every turn.

McKinley never climbed Denali, never visited Alaska and there are hundreds of sites around the country named after him…why this peak, in a state that has NO connection to the former prez, is named after him makes no sense.

the Daily Show bit on this was great and just shows how ridic the fight is. and a big YAAAAASSSS to what you said about Palin. she’s so dumb and intellectually UNcurious that she doesn’t know (and won’t read up to discover) that it was someone from Alaska who pushed for this, not “Hussein Obama”.

        so, Bristol, who’s the daddy?…

      • Bridget says:

This is super late to the party and y’all might not see it… but if it was Murkowski that introduced the Bill into the Senate it’s no shock that the Palin family would hate it, as Palin and Murkowski DO NOT like each other. Which makes sense, considering that Murkowski is intelligent, savvy, and has the good of Alaska at heart, while Palin is… Palin.

  10. FlipFlop says:

Dear Bristol – Opinions are like aholes…everyone has one – and like most, your ahole is completely irrelevant to me. Thanks, FF

  11. Castor & Pollux says:

I think it’s interesting that she says we’re buying oil from our “enemies” in the Middle East, but in the following paragraphs she implores BO to care more about ISIS and their impact in the region. I feel profoundly saddened that this uneducated & hypocritical nitwit has a platform. Let’s hope it’s very small.

    • wolfie says:

It’s embarrassing that anything she has to say is even put in print.

      • Belle Epoch says:

        WOLFIE x 1000

Didn’t the press learn ANYTHING from Sarah? These people are straight up ignorant irresponsible bloodthirsty vengeful hillbillies. They should not get ANY attention – it just feeds the beast.

    • jenn12 says:

Well, the problem is that ISIS and its ilk are slowly taking over the Middle East, destroying innocent lives and committing genocide in the ugliest ways I’ve ever seen. It’s the Holocaust, and no one is doing a damn thing. Most of those people aren’t our enemies, but they’re under terrorists’ thumbs.

  12. whipmyhair says:

So will it be called Mt Denali or just Denali?

Also presidents and other heads of state are able to focus on many different issues throughout the day, it’s kinda their thing.

    • Des says:

Shhhh, nobody tell the special snowflake. Over in Wasilla they can hardly keep one story straight, you expect her to believe people perform multiple tasks at the same time?

    • NUTBALLS says:

The Department of Interior called it “Denali” in its press release. No one in Alaska calls it Mt Denali anyway… just Denali.

    • Tiffany :) says:

“Also presidents and other heads of state are able to focus on many different issues throughout the day, it’s kinda their thing.”

      Yes, this!!

  13. Alex says:

I’m still wrapping my mind around the fact that she is knocked up (again) by her not husband (again) yet has the AUDACITY to preach abstinence and “traditional values”

I would like her to find a stadium and have ALL the damn seats

  14. aims says:

You know, maybe if Bristol and the rest of the Palin clan worried about their own home and fixed their own hypocrisy, then maybe they wouldn’t piss me off so badly. I absolutely lump the Palin family with the Duggers. Total nut jobs, will gladly point out and shame anyone who doesn’t believe in their rhetoric. Meanwhile they’re the biggest freaks.

They infuriate me. All of them! Total trash!!

Sorry, I cannot stand word salad hypocrisy.

  15. Kate says:

Does the media report every single time every village idiot across America drools out an opinion? Because that’s pretty much what we’re doing when we pay attention to the Palins.

  16. Talie says:

How did this young lady get the idea that she is a legit political commentator?

  17. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Don’t you have a drunken family gathering to attend or a moose to slaughter or something? Go away.

  18. georgia says:

The climbers that I know in New York call it Denali.

    • Kitten says:

My brother is a high-pointer who’s climbed the highest point in every state in the US except this particular mountain. He has always referred to it as simply “Denali”.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Everyone Alaskan under the age of 50 and mountaineer I know calls it Denali too. Only my dad’s family (who homesteaded there in the late 40’s) still call it Mt. McKinley.

      • Scarlet Vixen says:

I’ve been to Alaska and visited Denali National Park (most beautiful place I think I’ve ever seen!) and everyone I encountered called the mountain Denali. This ninny is just making up crap to be a contradictory brat–kinda like when I tell my 2yr old to put on her shoes and she counters “Their not shoes, they’re SANDALS.”

      • NUTBALLS says:

Scarlet V, she’ll counter anything that Obama does no matter how benign the action, ’cause she thinks he’s evil. He can’t do anything right in her mind.

I hope you got to see the peak when you were there… very few people do with all the clouds that tend to cover it.

  19. Merritt says:

Shut up Bristol, your mother did nothing for Alaska and then resigned because the job was just so hard.

  20. Who ARE these people? says:

Also, how cool is Ranger Barack?

  21. Jaded says:

Once again Bristol Palin proves that she has nothing but an airplane hangar full of air and misplaced indignation inside that skull of hers.

What Obama’s highlighting is the need to approach Alaska’s untapped oil reserves with caution and care, that there needs to be some happy medium that will appease the planet’s fossil fuel requirements while keeping carbon emissions at a safe level to prevent widespread loss of wildlife and damage to the environment.

It’s called having an inclusive and open debate Bristol, and they teach it at college. Oh…I forgot, you were too busy having illegitimate babies to get an education beyond high school.

  22. meme says:

Why do you even pay her any mind? She’s trash and a complete idiot.

  23. funcakes says:

She should really learn to be quite. Or as my family like to say,”Stay out of grown people business! “

  24. Meatball says:

I really believe her ex isn’t the father. She probably screwed around and when she found out she was pregnant, slept with him, then told him she was pregnant and he proposed. Obviously something didn’t sit well or make sense and she got called out and fessed up, end of relationship. Would not surprise me if she doesn’t even know the last name or the guy who knocked her up.
    Also, shut up Bristol!

  25. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

    Girl bye.

Take your kid/kids and go sit at the quiet table with the other Aggressive Christian Idiots.

  26. Daria Morgendorffer says:

We all know that this girl is completely irrelevant. All I’m going to say about her rambling is that I honestly cannot believe that people are so damn picayune that they’re latching onto the changing of the name of a mountain and finding fault with that.

Whether or not a person agree with the president’s policies, as Americans, I believe we should respect our president because it’s bad for the country to do otherwise. You do not have to agree, but you do have to respect the fact that we have a voting system and the majority of the public voted in a person as president whether you like it or not. Get the hell over it. I’m so tired of the mudslinging.

  27. GingerCrunch says:

I’ll always refer to it as Mountain McKimley! We lived up there in the mid 90’s and that’s what our little ones called it. ☺️

    *no comment about the dingbat*

  28. mimi says:

I’m German and we do call it McKinley. Any other Europeans care to share their experiences?
I’m happy to hear about the name change though and will call it Denali from now on 😉

  29. Vampi says:

Bristol and Sarah…you are boils on the butt of humanity. Meaning…even the butt of humanity wants no part of your hypocritical messiness.
Y’all need to get that thing lanced. Smh…

  30. lucy2 says:

She seriously needs to just shut up and go away. No one takes her seriously in any way, and she adds nothing to any conversation. By all means cover her hypocrisy and scandals, but let’s not give her another platform to rattle her mouth about stuff she is incapable of understanding.

  31. EscapedConvent says:

When I read the headline, the thought “Is she going to say that Obama is somehow the father of this baby?” popped into my head. I did not summon it; it just popped in. I’m sorry.

    • Lilacflowers says:

      He’s magical like that

      • buzz says:

You probably remember how Rush Limbaugh called Obama a “Magic Negro.” Because, per Rush, he was black enough to assuage “white guilt” but not too black. Disgusting. And yet he is still on the air.

    • EscapedConvent says:

Isn’t it hard to believe that Limbaugh still has a job? For decades I’ve thought he was going to be put out to pasture any minute. Imagine saying such a repulsive thing about the President. He’s one of those morons who just can’t stand that a black man got elected President. Boo :/#!ing hoo, vile creature!

But things are not as they were for Rush. Stations and sponsors have been dropping his show steadily. So someone somewhere must be thinking “Finally, sir, have you no sense of decency?” Good.

    • jwoolman says:

Me, too! I was all set to rail against the deceptive headline when I found out the words weren’t to name the Prez as the mystery father.

  32. Lilacflowers says:

I find it hilarious and hypocritical that she would complain about the cost to the taxpayers when the President of the United States visits one of the fifty states, particularly that state. Her mother ran for Vice President. Did she think the cost of the security to a Vice Presidential candidate, with a spouse and five kids, in Alaska was free to the taxpayers? Did she think that the cost to the taxpayers would not have increased if her mother had become Vice President?

Although she’s not the only one clueless on these issues. On election night 2012, Mitt Romney was shocked to learn that the Secret Service were not going to drive him and Ann home once he conceded and he had to scrounge around for a ride because the Secret Service agents cleared out just as soon as the election was over. Saving the taxpayers money.

    • NUTBALLS says:

That first paragraph is so funny. As though a Presidential visit is any different in any other state, with the security measures taken.

    • I Choose Me says:

I’m just here for the comments. QQ, Tiffany, Lilacflowers et al. You all are on point as usual.

  33. daisyfly says:

“The President should be worrying about the radical jihadists in ISIS who are gaining land and power everyday as they enslave, rape, and murder their way through the Middle East.”

    1. Just because you’re incapable of thinking about more than 1 thing at a time does not mean everyone else is incapable as well. I’m pretty sure that President Obama is worrying about ISIS, the Chinese economy, refugees in Hungary trying to get to Germany but aren’t capable due to Hungary’s shutting down of the trains, the latest car bombing in Afghanistan, the drone strikes in Pakistan, the latest vote in favor of the Iran nuclear deal, the impending federal interest rate decision, the impact that climate change is having on our country’s shores as well as further inland, AND SO ON, because he was fortunate enough to not have been born a Palin.

    2. Don’t act like you give two figs about what is happening to Syrian or Iraqi civilians in this war with ISIS. You’re one of the morons who actually believe that this is the president’s fault because he took his magical time machine back some 13 years and started a war in Iraq as President of the United States.

    3. How’s that abstinence thing working out for ya, Mary 2, birth control boogaloo?

    • Alice says:

I love your comment, daisy. Thanks for it.

    • Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

      Oh, dayum PLUS snap!

    • jenn12 says:

I don’t give a crap about the Palins, but no one is doing a damn thing to help the victims as ISIS commits genocide in the worst Holocaust in 70 years. Those people need HELP, NOW, and I don’t see any coming their way.

      • Ange says:

Mate there are thousands of soldiers over there. How is that nothing? It’s just that fighting this particular enemy isn’t as simple as ‘drop a bomb and leave ‘ They’re like the mythical snake with a thousand heads, chop one off and two grow in its place.

      • jenn12 says:

It’s not enough. The genocide over there has not really been fully addressed by a congress of our world leaders, and there needs to be a more concerted effort to destroy ISIS and their ilk. Though I do get the snake analogy. No, it’s not simple, but they are using women and children as sexual cattle, and implementing rape, torture and murder hourly. Surely the world’s leaders could begin coming together to put more pressure on them. We are in talks with Iran, and they proudly declare themselves Syria’s allies.

    • Veronica says:

Not to mention that there is an ENTIRE HOUSE OF CONGRESS, JUDICIAL BRANCH, AND CABINET who deal with these issues at the same time. JFC. Do people seriously think one person could really carry all of that on their own??

      • jenn12 says:

Of course not. World leaders are really reluctant to become more aggressive, because they know what these genetic cesspools are capable of, and are dying to do to more than just their own people. With that said, a condition of working with Iran should be that they are not allied with Syria, or that they help the Syrian people.

  34. holly hobby says:

Shut up Pepto Bristol. So rich that she is worried about taxpayer’s money. I bet she’s drawing from WIC.

  35. Colette says:

When is Bristol going to go back on her abstinence only speaking tour?

  36. Alice says:

Yippee! A thread that is almost 100% unanimity, namely that the Palins are ignorant trash.

    • Who ARE these people? says:

If they weren’t ignorant trash, even *they* would say that they were ignorant trash.

  37. iheartgossip says:

She is an idiot. Has zero qualifications to have an opinion on anything, well other than being a white trash hillbilly from Alaska who likes to get pregnant by whomever.

  38. Veronica says:

I can’t explain my addiction to these articles. The Palins are like a train wreck I can’t turn away from.

According to my FB, the name of the mountain has been pretty interchangeable for years. I’ve heard it referred to both ways – and my personal vote is Denali simply because it sounds cooler.

  39. buzz says:

Sarah Palin is a sad, anger-locked, bitter, nasty woman and she has shoved that crap right down on Bristol and is ruining her life. Disgusting. Not excusing Bristol’s responsibility for her own behavior. She’s a brat.

  40. anne_000 says:

The AK Republican politicians, including the repub governor, wanted the name change and they finally got it. So for BP to go after Pres. Obama for this is just her trying to find something bad to say about him.

But I wonder if SP is thinking about running for governor again and thus trying to make this a political issue against the current repub governor.
    ……………

From SP’s farewell speech as governor:

“And getting up here I say it is the best road trip in America soaring through nature’s finest show. Denali, the great one, soaring under the midnight sun.

Well now that BP has said that nobody she knows calls it “Denali,” I guess SP will agree with that and use it in her future rants against Pres. Obama.
    ……………

If Pres. Obama hadn’t visited AK during his term, then the Palins would be using that against him and say that Democrats don’t care about AK. But now that he’s visited, they have to poo poo that too. There’s no way of winning this for him when it comes to the Palins.

    • Alice says:

It’s a good thing they’re not descended from Pinocchio. Their noses wouldn’t fit inside the state as much as they lie.

  41. Killalustre says:

Those are pretty big words for someone who hasn’t yet figured out birth control.

  42. moon says:

Bristol is white, not native alaskan.

  43. Dibba says:

    She’s so lame
