Tom Hiddleston: ‘ISTL’ Oscar buzz is ‘really nothing to do with me in a way’

Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen came out to TIFF this weekend to premiere I Saw the Light, the Hank Williams bio-pic. Something nice: I’m actually glad that Tom and Lizzie aren’t doing the “too cute by half” celebrity-couple thing and refusing to pose together or whatever. Some couples who meet and “fall in love” while filming play that game, like “everyone knows we’re together, but PRIVACY so we’re not going to pose together.” Hiddles and Olsen didn’t do that. They happily posed together on the red carpet and at the party. He even had his arm around her. HIDDLES LOVE. Is he in love? Perhaps.

As for the reviews coming out of TIFF… they’re not really kind. These words keep coming up in reviews: dull, uninspired, creepy, dull, unfocused, sluggish, etc. That being said, many critics say Tom’s performance elevates an otherwise silly bio-pic, and Olsen has been given special marks as well for her performance as Hank’s first wife. The Hollywood Reporter even goes so far as to say that both actors might be considered for some serious awards.

Tom was asked about the quiet Oscar buzz and he had a good answer: “I can’t really comment on that because it all seems so imaginary, it’s really nothing to do with me in a way, so we will see what people say when they see the film.” I do wonder if Hiddles is going to try for anything. By that I mean, I can’t really see him waging a Cumberbatch-esque Oscar campaign… for this role. But you never know. It just doesn’t feel like the buzz is there. Maybe he’ll get a Golden Globe nomination for Musical/Comedy actor?

Elizabeth Olsen’s dress in these photos is by Juan Carlos Obando. She looks pregnant, right? I’m not just imagining that? I doubt she is, I think it’s just that the dress is really unflattering.

  1. Miss M says:

1- I am glad critics are praising his work.
2- I really liked his answer about Oscar buzz (Our HIddles is not an alien…)
    3- I don’t think Lizzy is pregnant.

    • DebDebP says:

I agree, doesn’t look pregnant to me. That dress is awful. A Morticia Adams dress-up costume. Only Morticia was way more streamlined.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Mortiicia had better control of her sleeves. Olsen’s seemed to be smacking into everything.

      • InvaderTak says:

I think that’s just the way she’s shaped, and the dress isn’t flattering. The Fug girls were speculating about that a while back and she looks exactly the same now as she did then.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

Will someone please explain to me what possess actresses to walk the red carpet in such awful dresses? Most people have a good idea of what flatters and what doesnt. Does she have a contract with the designer or something?

      • Lilacflowers says:

@MissJupitero, she seems to have inherited her taste in fashion from her sisters. She spent Wednesday wandering through photo-shoots in Deauville wrapped up head to toe in lumpy black. She spent yesterday going to another showing and Q&A of ISTL, numerous photoshoots and interviews and the Entertainment Weekly party wearing black pants and top covered in a shapeless, lumpy blue jacket. She did finally change for the Sony dinner into a white tablecloth over the black pants. The one break from all this dreariness was the beautiful white dress she wore Wednesday night at Deauville.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

Maybe Deauville is where a stylist finally stepped in.

I’m just horrified. Long ago when I was studying dance we were all admonished by our teachers that it was our job to be aware of how we look and how we move. So I have a hard time understanding a professional actress who can’t pull together something better or hire someone to help her.

      • NUTBALLS says:

Elizabeth rarely wears something outstanding on the red carpet. the baggy, lumpy, oddly-shaped garments seem to define her style. I’m rarely impresses with her sartorial sense.

Maybe she brought her A-game to Deauville because it’s in France? The white Calvin Klein dress, along with her hair and accessories were incredibly flattering on her. It was outside of the norm in being NOT black and classic. How she went from that to the god-awful black number at the ISTL red carpet is a mystery to me.

That asymmetrical hanky shirt was another misstep. She seems to like boxy shirts/dresses that hang off her body and give it no shape. She needs a stylist — one whose last name is not Olsen — STAT.

      • Nic919 says:

The photos are not flattering. I was at the premiere on Friday when she was wearing that dress on stage. She didn’t look pregnant at all.

      • Lilacflowers says:

@Missjupitero, but the stylist was only for the evening red carpet at Deauville. It really is puzzling. She’s an attractive woman and does seem to have interest in fashion, if her attendance at shows are any indication, but the things she chooses are often strange. It isn’t even as if she’s going full goth or anything because that could still involve clothes that aren’t lumpy and shapeless. And somebody who truly doesn’t care wouldn’t seem to have put so much effort into looking so dreary. She had to have been the worst dressed at the Entertainment Weekly party and some of the guys were wearing jeans to that.

    • Lilacflowers says:

Check out the pictures of her from Deauville in a gorgeous white dress. Very trim.

    • Miss Jupitero says:

He’s a pro. He’ll do everything he can to promote this picture and do his paart, then move on to the next role. I don’t think the film has enough going for it for any award, but he will carry hi mb self with dignity and professionalism.

Man, he is smooth in an interview.

His photos with Olsen look like his photos with everybody. He is well practiced in the art of taking a good picture with a lady. I don’t think this is a couples thing.

      • Lilacflowers says:

His pictures hugging Eddy Redmayne seem to be genuine happiness for both of them. They both come from privilege but neither probably imagined they would be seeing one another at film festivals twenty years later when Tom put on the elephant costume to carry Eddy on stage in that school play.

      • teacakes says:

Exactly this. He gives good interview and good red carpet pose, and isn’t making a song and dance about any part of his private life. He’s dating a costar – so what of it? Enough actors do the same thing, and they are both single.

And Lilacflowers, his pics with Eddie are adorable! The British actor pool working on that side of the pond isn’t that big anyway, so it’s not unlikely they’ve bumped into each other quite a bit in their pre-fame years even after leaving Eton.

      • et alors says:

@teacakes, don’t forget they both attended Cambridge, although they were in different years and colleges. Tom has said he and Eddie are friends and mentioned going to Koreatown for karaoke with Eddie. There’s also a cute video floating around of Tom interrupting Eddie’s autographing signing on the 2013 BAFTAs red carpet to give him a hug. Those two are adorable.

      • Lilacflowers says:

@teacakes, oh, I know they encounter one another fairly frequently but my point was that 20 years ago when they did that Passage to India play as young teen-age boys, they probably did not envision that all these years later, one of them would have an Oscar and they would be hugging it out at international film festivals.

    • Mary-Alice says:

She is not , imo, but she did look like she had a big stomach walking ahead of her and there were people who started murmuring if… This wasn’t helped by last night’s tent she wore. Strange choices and partly bad posture.

  2. Freebunny says:

This movie is too weak for any Oscar buzz, but whatever.

    • OhDear says:

That’s the sense I’m getting too, and his (their) chances may be completely gone if the movie doesn’t do well at the box office.

  3. Kate says:

This guy had chemistry yesterday with nearly everyone he took a photo with. Except for Elizabeth Olsen. Funny, that.

  4. Dame Heddy says:

Asking him about non-existent oscar buzz for a flop movie is kinda cruel, isn’t it?

    • Miss Jupitero says:

There’ worse. Here’s an immortal quote for you from Gosford Park:

Constance: Tell me, how much longer are you going to go on making films?
Ivor Novello: I suppose that rather depends on how much longer the public want to see me in them.
Constance: It must be hard to know when it’s time to throw in the towel… What a pity about that last one of yours… what was it called? “The Dodger”?
      Ivor Novello: The Lodger.
Constance: The Lodger. It must be so disappointing when something just *flops* like that

My takeaway: every review has made the point that his performance was excellent. He gave his heart to this. It speaks very well of him no matter what. I think it’s endearing that the question was asked.

      • lisa2 says:

Gosford Park was such a funny movie. I’m looking for it on dvd. So many amazingly bitchy and shady remarks.

    • NUTBALLS says:

I think he was asked that on the red carpet prior to the premier, not after the reviews started coming in.

    • Dara says:

I’m hardly wearing rose-colored glasses here, but isn’t calling ISTL a flop a bit premature? The reviews for the Danish Girl have also said almost the same thing – a great performance elevates an otherwise average film, with a standout performance from the female lead being an added bonus. I’ll give the edge to Danish Girl, the reviews have been slightly less acidic in tone, but there’s a lot of disappointment from critics for both movies. The films may yet go on and do well – both at the box office and during awards season.

      • NUTBALLS says:

I agree, Dara. I think most movie-goers don’t bother with reading reviews. If they are interested in the subject matter/actor, they will pay to go see it. There’s plenty of country music fans that will go see this movie, having no idea what’s being said about it online. It could have a decent showing at the box office.

      • Lilacflowers says:

@Dara, I’ve always thought a “flop” meant box office. It’s hard to see something as a flop when it has not been released to theaters yet. And if something makes back the money it cost to make it, it is not a flop. Critical flops, however, can do okay with audiences (any Rocky movie past the first, anything with Chuck Norris). And ISTL is getting mixed reviews in that while the director and script are being panned, the performances and cinematography are being praised. Even the few interviews I saw that went beyond the performances of Tom and Olsen praised Cherry Jones and Brad Whitford.

      • Lilacflowers says:

I’ve also seen some critics write savage reviews of Our Brand is Crisis while still giving Sandra Bullock good marks.

    • Janie says:

It’s unlikely the distributor/studio will fully fund a campaign with these reviews. Usually, they start early and then pull the plug if the movie sinks on the circuit like this one did.

The HitFX review murdered this movie, wow:

“You could probably write a 100-page thesis paper about how bad “Light” is. “

  5. Lilacflowers says:

Lots and lots of pretty pictures coming out of TIFF yesterday from photoshoots and multiple parties. And more today for High-Rise.

Colin has breakfast ready on the veranda and has sent some down to the fray in the meadow. The peach pancakes are quite nice.

    • Abby_J says:

Excellent. Looking forward to trying Colin’s peach pancakes!

I can’t believe I have to wait until November for Elementary to start

      • Lilacflowers says:

November is far too far away. That’s my Sherlock and my Watson and I hate having to wait for them.

Oh, I’ve brought Matthias Schoenaerts in to work on repairing the gazebo. If you’ve seen Far from the Madding Crowd, you’ll understand why.

  6. SugarMalone says:

Okay so, I saw I SAW THE LIGHT at the morning screening yesterday. It’s not good. Really fragmented and no real focus to the film. It’s set up like just a bunch of snippets from Williams’ life. There’s no sense of how much time is passing or how his career really took off or why he got so popular so quickly.

Both Tom and Elizabeth are really good in it though but I just don’t think it’s going to go the way of WALK THE LINE because it’s not a strong enough film overall.

The post-film Q&A was really good. The Hiddle-loonies kept themselves in check and the questions were actually smart. Apparently the Williams family wrote notes to both Tom and Elizabeth after seeing the film a few weeks ago praising their portrayals of Hank and Audrey (especially Audrey because most people make her out to be a witch with no redeeming qualities). Tom went on for a bit about airy-fairy actor-y things and Elizabeth seems like a woman I’d like to hang out with.

I also brushed shoulders with Tom yesterday at one of the junket hotels (I attend TIFF for my job). We were passing one another in a very crowded hallway and he smiled at me as we danced around one another. He has very kind eyes.

I’m seeing HIGH-RISE tonight so I’ll report back on that tomorrow.

    • Miss Jupitero says:

Do report back!! So excited that you are there!

    • InvaderTak says:

OOO you’re so lucky! Thanks for the reports!

Did you happen to see The Martian? Any good?

      • SugarMalone says:

I didn’t see the THE MARTIAN yet. There’s a screening later in the week that I may try to fit in. I’ve heard from several other people that they really enjoyed it so now I’m more interested in seeing it than I was before.

      • icerose says:

Trumbo was on the same day as Tom at the London film festival and I really wanted to see it-I have been watching Breaking Bad with my daughter and her boyfriend and have found I liked it more than I thought but the films were 6 ours apart and not with with my stamina levels.Life sucks somes times.Trumbo has Helen Mirren in it as well which never hurts a film.We have first day tickets so hoping he is there

    • Nic919 says:

I was at the premiere on Friday night and the movie was ok, with Tom being the best part of it. He was very gracious in the Q and A after the movie and here too there weren’t too many nuts and no one asked silly questions comparable to what happened to Benedict Cumberbatch at the premiere of The Imitation Game last year.

As for Oscar buzz, I think he will be in a tough race. I saw Eddie Redmayne in The Danish Girl and Bryan Cranston in Trumbo and both of them were great and in better overall movies.
And there if Johnny adept who will likely be a strong contender

      • SugarMalone says:

What else have you seen that you’ve liked so far? My top three are MUSTANG, GREEN ROOM and FEBRUARY.
I’ve only seen 10 so far – I’d have seen more but I have to go to the industry conference and meetings too which cuts into my movie-viewing time. I’m hoping I will have seen about 35 films by the end of the fest.

      • Mary-Alice says:

I liked the Arabian Nights trilogy, sorry to not have the time to see much more but I have the Bolshoy on my list and hoping to see the Dressmaker, as well as a couple smaller movies – Eva Nova, Granny is Dancing…, Our Last Tango, The Man Who Knew …, if work allows.

      • Nic919 says:

I like Sicario the best overall, but I think About Ray has good performances from Elle Fanning and Naomi Watts.
Trumbo and The Danish Girl are good too.

I just saw Legend and while Tom Hardy is good, gangster movies have been done ad nauseum.
Going to see Beasts of no Nation tonight and hope it lives up to the hype.
I have dialled it down this year to 22 movies.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Thanks for the ISTL report. Are you seeing Room, 42 Years or Jobs? I don’t seem to have time to keep up with reviews for all the movies I’m interested in.

      • Nic919 says:

I don’t think Jobs is playing at TIFF because I didn’t see it in the schedule. I will be seeing 45 Years later this week, just not the premiere.

      • NUTBALLS says:

Yeah, you right. Jobs plays at NYFF, not TIFF. I got confused since it premiered at Telluride.

    • Lilacflowers says:

@SugarMalone, may you have the stamina to get through all those films. Although, it sounds like heaven to me. I love watching several movies in a day.

    • SugarMalone says:

@Mary-Alice I saw GRANNY’S DANCING ON THE TABLE and it was okay. I will warn you that it’s extremely slow and bleak. Basically a guy abusing his teen daughter for 90 minutes with stop-motion interludes about the history of the women in her family – all of whom also suffered abuse. No fun or whimsy as the title would suggest.

I just saw DISORDER with Matthias Schoenaerts and Diane Kruger and it was excellent.

      • Lilacflowers says:

I watched Far from the Madding Crowd this morning and I’m really liking Matthias. I’ve always liked Diane Kruger so that one sounds interesting.

      • NUTBALLS says:

I liked FFTMC as well. The cinematography was gorgeous.

I hope one of you lucky ladies gets to see Spotlight. I’d love to hear what you think of it. I saw something on Twitter about the real Globe team reuniting at TIFF for a Q&A after the premier on Monday.

      • Lilacflowers says:

@nutballs, I too am looking forward to hearing about and seeing Spotlight (despite Keaton’s really bad attempt at the accent.) It will be one of two films this fall (Black Mass being the other) that contain portrayals of people I’ve dealt with through work.

      • Mary-Alice says:

Thanks, Sugar! I couldn’t do the Granny dancing yesterday but saw My Big Night and loved it! A crazy movie in the best Spanish crazy tradiitions. Absurd, hilarious and still relevant, wonderful movie, the master director shows.

      • A.Key says:

        Matthias <3
        He's finally getting more recognition.

      • SugarMalone says:

@Lilacflowers Have you seen SUITE FRANCAISE? Matthias is pretty swoon-worthy in that too. And RUST AND BONE for that matter.

@Mary-Alice That’s good to hear about MY BIG NIGHT – I’m seeing that on the weekend. I loved that filmmaker’s WITCHING AND BITCHING that played Midnight Madness a couple years ago so I’m looking forward to this one.

RE: HIGH-RISE – I really liked it but I like Ben Wheatley’s films which are admittedly not for everyone. I would be interested to hear from someone who hasn’t read the book about what they thought of the movie – I think I was able to fill in some blanks in the storyline because as Ben said himself in the Q&A, the screenwriter wanted to keep some things – motivations and backstories – a secret from the audience.

Anyway, it’s delightfully weird and perverse and Tom is great at playing slightly unhinged. The Q&A was pretty restrained except for one chick who asked Jeremy Irons to recite the alphabet because she liked his voice so much. He countered with a cute story that perfectly deflected the idiocy.

    • waitwhat says:

I’m off to High-Rise tonight, too. ISTL was frustrating, because the performances were good, but it’s a mess with no shape. The writer in me wanted to redraft it while I was watching. Gah!

  7. Miss M says:

@Kaiser: Is it too much to request CB to post a photo of Hiddles with Brian Tyler (another Hollywood Talented-handsome combo guy)? Anything that will remind us the glory days of Hot Guy Friday posts, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!

ps: And if IF CB brings HGF back, I will appreciate if you feature any of my guys: Hunnam, Brian Tyler, Matthias S. and Dylan Bruce. Thanks!!!!

    • Lilacflowers says:

Yes, some of the pictures with him and Brian Tyler are truly enjoyable.

      • Miss M says:

I don’t know what the heck Brian is doing (tanning/makeup or the blond hair), but I am getting a Ryan Seacrest vibe and not in a good way…

He is naturally handsome and he doesn’t need to doll up…

  8. koko says:

If he was in love with everyone he put his arm around this would be one crazy…crazy place. That being said they look more “in like” than “in love”.
    Just my impression.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Mine too. But I don’t think dating could be anything more than casual with the Atlantic Ocean separating them.

It was nice that he got to see Brie Larson and chat a bit, since they’ll be working together very soon. Jacob Trembly (who’s getting rave reviews along with Brie for ROOM) posted a pic of meeting Loki at the party. It was sweet.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Loki had to kneel to get in that picture with Jacob.

Little Jacob Tremblay is just so cute. The things he posted about his suit fittings and people liking his suit were precious. How could anybody NOT like little Jacob in a tuxedo?

  9. Alice says:

He’s in love because he’s posing with a co-star? He seemed more lovey dovey with Jessica Chastain if you ask me. Or pressing kisses to Natalie Portman’s forehead at the Thor 2 premiere. But whatever, that’s just me.

I’m more excited about High-Rise, but then the story sounds more interesting to me.

  10. Mary-Alice says:

This is not a Weinstein movie to have a Weinstein campaign, I don’t see why anyone would have expected pr relationship game at festivals. The paps were tipped in London, it achieved its purpose and those two disappeared as expected since they are not paps’ interest aside from tipped sightings. After the goal was achieved, there is zero reason for festival circus. And Sony is not known for supporting this kind of campaigns, in general.

    • Janie says:

Yes, they do. Some of it was in the leaked Sony emails lol. While Sony runs the campaign, the actor usually hires or works with someone as well, so it’s a joint effort.

But any campaign stuff started will lose its funding now.

      • Mary-Alice says:

I still don’t find Sony’s representation equal to the circuses Weinstein manages to organize. Lobbying is the norm so not even worth discussing as well as the pressure at certain times about certain things but the level of personal involvement and twisting of real life with Weinstein is unheard of elsewhere, imo.

  11. Angie says:

I don’t think Tom is going to be begging for an Oscar or anything like that. Maybe he’ll get recognized by the Golden Globes and several of those critics circle awards.

From the reviews, it does seem the film as a whole falls flat but he shines as many have said. There have been many movies where certain performances are too good to ignore; this might be it! He’s seems so sweet, I hope he gets recognized somewhere.

    • Mia4S says:

Too strong a year for him to get recognized for a good performance in a terrible movie. Not happening. Maybe golden globe but they usually fudge that category to get the big names in (see DiCaprio for Wolf of Wall Street). It’s not a big deal, he can try again in a couple of years (he’s franchise boy until then). People jumped the gun, it happens.

      • Dara says:

A Golden Globe nom is in the realm of possibility. The HFPA split the acting awards into a drama category and a comedy/musical category. His performance and singing have been getting raves so it could be well deserved rather than a pr nomination.

  12. DT says:

Its annoying how the tabloids and the twitter fangirls are going on about the photos of them as if they were posing as a couple, which they weren’t, they were posing as co-stars. I’m not saying they aren’t a couple, because none of us really know what’s going on with them now do we, but they definately didn’t act like one yesterday. They kept it professional and I think they made the right decision to do so. I respect them more for doing that than the pr games people were predicting. Just imagine though if they were together and now they aren’t how awkward it must feel for them both with the specualtion surrounding every photo of them whilst they promote this film. We will see, if she doesn’t show up with him to high rise are we still gonna believe somethin is going on? I understand them not showing up as a couple for ISTL, to not overshadow the film. But if they keep not showing up to things together, I don’t get why they would keep it a secret, she wasn’t shy about her relationship with Boyd and I don’t think Tom hid JA as much as everyone would like to believe, just because he didn’t talk about her he still wasn’t afraid to be seen out and about with her. I’m just really confused about these two, I know I have no right to know what’s going on but it’s a little annoying that we don’t know by now right?? Or is that just me? 😝

    • NUTBALLS says:

I don’t think it’s awkward for them. They chose to do the pap walk(s) in July to add weight to the rumors.

I agree that if they’re a couple, why not act like it? We know that Lizzy isn’t one to keep things hidden since she and Boyd acted like a normal couple when out in public. So if they are a couple, it’s Tom that’s insisting that they keep things professional when out in public. It’s weird to me, since they did an obvious PR move that keeps people talking about them but then act like nothing more than co-workers in public.

It will be interesting to see if she attends the High Rise premier.

      • DT says:

Yes exactly what I mean, maybe Tom wants the “homewrecker” label to be well and truely forgotten before they do anything official, or maybe they still aren’t sure what’s going on themselves, or maybe whatever it was is over. I’m definately thinking this wasn’t all about pr, there was definately something going on but the secrecy only makes it look more like there was overlap with her relationship. Maybe they have been told to keep things professional because the tabloids started to make them look like a bit of a joke after date night. Who knows hey.
I wish I had better things to do with my Sunday than think about this, lol.

      • Heather says:

Her clothes are awful. The Morticia dress, the tablecloth she wore to the Sony dinner.. Perhaps I don’t understand “fashion” but those outfits were hideous.

From the photos, they were just doing their duty as the lead actors in their film. I would think they would have spent some time together at these parties if they were any sort of item, but they didn’t. He’s off mingling, and she kept to herself. It’s the gossip mags that are keeping it going by posting articles on how cute they look etc. Which I am starting to suspect are being helped along by her PR team.

I don’t see why she would go to the High Rise premiere tbh. That would overshadow Tom’s work and he is all about the work this weekend. Whats she going to do at the after party for a film she’s not even part of? She didn’t even mingle much at her own film’s party.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Pretty much everything I’m reading is referencing them as an off-screen couple or at least rumored to be, so it may be they’re just letting the media do the publicity rather than making an obvious effort to do so themselves. She’s talked about their chemistry during a read 4 years ago (which does nothing downplay the possibility that she cheated on BH once they were working together) and it’ll be interesting to see what Tom’s saying about her once the TIFF interviews are published.

On the one hand, I’m glad they’re not PR-ing it to death and on the other hand, it’s odd to me to act like just friends when the media are all calling them out. Either way, people are talking about them so why not just act like a normal couple? This kind of thing gets me eye-rolling because it comes off as inauthentic to me and Tom’s always talking about truth-telling.

I’m sure I’ll get blasted by saying that he’s anything less than authentic or perfect, but it’s the impression he’s given me since JA.

I don’t care if they are together or not, but I just wish that actions were consistent with truth, which in this case doesn’t seem to be.

      • DT says:

Whats this about their chemistry 4 years ago? Is this a recent thing she has said? x

      • DT says:

Never mind ive seen it x

      • et alors says:

NUTBALLS, how are Tom’s actions inconsistent when you don’t know what the truth is? You can only guess at it, but unless you’re in Tom’s inner circle, you don’t know.

IMO, Tom and Lizzie are not obligated to “act like a normal couple” for public consumption just because people refer to them as a couple. Even if they were to confirm a relationship, there will still be skeptics who’ll claim it’s fake, so it’s a lose-lose situation for them. If they *are* a couple, they still don’t owe it to anyone to discuss their relationship or to behave a certain way. They are actors attending TIFF to promote their film, which they’re doing with professionalism and enthusiasm despite the negative reviews. Calling their outing in July a calculated PR move and then being exasperated when they’re not acting couple-y in Toronto, which would incite more cries of PR, seems a little contradictory.

Also, in regards to your point about truth-telling, Tom hasn’t said one word about his personal relationship with Lizzie, so he hasn’t lied. Not telling you everything you want to know about his personal life doesn’t mean he’s not an honest person in general.

Anyway, I don’t mean to be argumentative, but you’ve been raising these same questions/points for the past couple months. I’m just now putting in my two cents. No hard feelings. 🙂

      • NUTBALLS says:

I don’t think either of them are obligated to say anything about their relationship. But actions communicate truth or are misleading and all i’m saying is that the PR move in July is not consistent with what we’re seeing at TIFF.

Honestly, I have no issues with them being professional (not that they can’t be professional as a couple) and businesslike, but I still side-eye the pap walk which was entirely unnecessary, except to get people talking about them as a couple.

That’s the way I see it, you may not, and no offense taken if you disagree.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Colin and Mark are beginning to get a bit nervous. Colin is suggesting that everyone please sit down wherever you are, and take some time for dinner or lunch or late-night snack, depending on your time zone, and relax while bracing ourselves for the next round of TIFF pictures with Tom and Luke and Jeremy. Mark is pacing and checking the firehoses and dogs, so taking Colin’s suggestion might be wise. I do see he has put out some roast chicken. All very Sunday dinner and all.

I do hope Elizabeth Moss has ditched those horrid electric blue suede shoes she wore last night. I also do hope we get some more video and some actual video interviews. I am feeling a real dirth of Tom interviews. I know he’s giving them. I know they’re filming them. I need to see them.

      • et alors says:

NUTBALLS, I think actions can often be misconstrued if you don’t have all the facts, but agree to disagree. I still like your contributions to this site.

Lilacflowers, I see you. 😉 Anyway, I want the interview with The Wrap, though, as it looks like there was singing and joking around in that one.

      • NUTBALLS says:

Same to you et alors. It’s all meaningless chatter anyway. A nice distraction from vacuuming, which I probably should be doing right now. 🙂

  13. icerose says:

Just sad the film was a bomb after all his work-they certainly got the daggers in quickly but Tom came out shinning for the most part.i heard even Depp has had some bad reviews

  14. Heather says:

Someone tried to suggest he brought BrIe Larson as a date to one of the parties because they walked in together. It wont be long before that starts circling next. EO will need to find another project to work on. lol

I do think Brie has a boyfriend, but EO was engaged (a small fact the magazines seem to gloss over) so… Hmm.

    • Dara says:

I saw that too, and side-eyed hard. They are in a huge movie together that starts filming in about a month. Given that they both have films that need promo work and their travel schedules may not overlap much between now and then is it too much of a stretch to think they got together to chat about their roles, the script, and maybe run a few lines together? Or maybe their cars pulled up at the same time and they met in the driveway and walked through the door together?

I love gossip as much as the next girl, but yeesh.

    • Leah says:

Brie has a longterm boyfriend, alex greenwald the musician the guy who sang the the title track of the OC tv series. Olsen denies dating Tom. Think people are too eager to hook him up with someone at this stage-

      • Lilacflowers says:

Finally! Video of an interview! He speaks! Abrahams is clearly trying to explain the directorial decisions he made that are being challenged in the reviews. Lizzie, don’t put your hand over your mouth when talking.

      • NUTBALLS says:

Yes, its lovely to have a video finally…. where are all the interviews he’s been doing??? I want to see Collider and Josh H fangirling him.

I’m trying to hang with EO when she’s talking, but it’s hard with her nasal-y, monotone voice. I need to see her words in print to fully appreciate them.

      • Allegra says:

I´m so mad with this director right now that I can´t even listen his voice.
He had talented actors, all resources and he screw it up.

  19. Lilacflowers says:

The Boston Globe is saying that ISTL will open here on December 11. Two weeks after the NY/LA opening. Don’t know if they plan to open wide that day or just a broader roll-out of the limited release.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Could there be a change of release schedule (as in, wider) due to the mixed to negative reviews? I don’t understand the point of limited release of what may be a popular film. I’m curious what the variables are when it’s getting panned besides allocating campaign funds to another film.

      • Lilacflowers says:

A change in schedule because a movie is bad usually involves moving it to late January/early February, not opening it wider. This has always been meant as a limited release film, which, and I’m going to use Boston terms here but you lived here, so I know you’ll understand, would mean showing at the Kendall or the Coolidge and not all the big suburban 12 screen cinemas. The November 27 date was just for the NY and LA openings, and that is still on schedule. Last year, TTOE started in limited release and rolled out slowly. I saw it in October because Boston was a limited release city but lots of other places didn’t get it until November and still more didn’t get it until early January. Still Alice had a very limited release, opening in some cities, NYC and LA , I think in October or November but not going wider until early January, and that “wider” was still extremely limited, showing in art houses only. I think ISTL was always intended as a small film and that was before anybody started attaching Oscar labels to any part of it.

      • NUTBALLS says:

In that case, we probably won’t get it until January at the earliest. I saw Still Alice opening weekend on Jan 21, I recall.

I liked going to Kendall for movies if only for an excuse to go to The Helmand for a cheap Afghani meal beforehand.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

Nutballs, are you also a Bostonian? I live in Watertown!

Dagnabit, be need to have a CB night out one of these days! At The Helmand ! Why not? I would love that!

      • NUTBALLS says:

Miss Jupitero, I was for 8 years. Lived all over North of the city until 2011, when we moved to Colorado for work. I miss Boston so much, we both do still. I have friends in Belmont-Watertown and used to run around Fresh Pond and hang out in Davis Sq. Some day, I’ll come back & run the marathon. Maybe we can meet up then…

I’m surprised that all y’all haven’t gotten together by now. There’s quite a gaggle of Celebitches there.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

Okay, Bostonian CBers! I propose a meetup!

      • NUTBALLS says:

And you can broadcast it live via Periscope!

        Just kidding…

  20. Miss Jupitero says:

So High Rise is tonight, right? What time is the red carpet? Anyone out there planning to see it?

    • Lilacflowers says:

The movie shows at 9:30 so probably 9-ish? If they’re doing one?

      • et alors says:

The official High-Rise twitter account tweeted that they’re doing a red carpet, even though the TIFF one said they weren’t.

      • Mary-Alice says:

The movie is a proper premiere (9:30 pm) at Elgin, that’s a carpet.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Twitter already has a link for the panel which is tomorrow morning apparently, for those who don’t have to work.

    • M.A.F. says:

I thought everything for High Rise was cancelled or was that a rumor?

      • et alors says:

Just the screening on 9/18 was canceled.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Some of the stuff that was scheduled for later in the week has been cancelled. I think there were supposed to be two more showings and another Q&A and the Q&A and the third showing were cancelled. I think. Could have some of those details wrong.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

That would leave me very crestfallen. -( Rumor, I hope….

      • Lilacflowers says:

I need them to announce a US distributor and distribution date. I don’t care who it is. Just get it where I can see it on a screen.

Colin can fix you something to cheer you up.

      • Miss Jupitero says:

        Thank you, Lilacflowers…..

  21. Kate says:

Just read an interview transcript where EO puts to rest the dating rumors with a clear “no”…that she and Tom are friends who had dinner together “at the wrong time”.

Interesting. But he called her ‘babe’ during date night…? Is he just super affectionate w/everyone or are they backpedaling into damage control territory?

    God I’m over-invested. Sorry.

    • DT says:

Speaking as an english person its quite normal to use babe to friends and i wouldnt look into that too much. he has been heard to call fans babe, I cant believe she has finally denied it!

    • Miss Jupitero says:

He is known for calling pretty much everyone “babe” or “darling.” It is a very sweet super-affectionate mannerism of which I heartily approve.

    • M.A.F. says:

He is always like that. Calls people “darling” a lot too. For what is it worth, I’m the same way.

    • Lilacflowers says:

My English grandfather called everyone “darling.” At a soccer game once, I asked the group of English guys in front of us if they would mind sitting down so we could see the game without having to stand through the whole thing. The man in front of me (quite good looking) turned and said: “not bloody likely, love.” I think it’s the British equivalent to Americans who stick “hon” or “honey” onto the end of everything.

      • DT says:

hahaha this amused me, no way are english guys gonna sit down at a football match. Im surprised they were this polite to you.
And yes you are right, I use babe, luv, darling a lot even baby and just to friends, thats quite normal.
I always thought of hon and honey to be quite an american thing although some British people do use it as well.

      • NUTBALLS says:

Calling someone hon, honey is something you hear in the south more than in other parts of the US. At least from the four corners I’ve lived in.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Well, we were a group of really cute college girls so they may have wanted to make a good impression. By halftime, our groups had intermingled and two of my friends ended up dating two of them.

    • madly says:

      Glad she finally said something.

  22. Beach girl says:

EO interview with Refinery29 just posted. She addresses dating rumors. And uses Like way too much. One day I will learn how to post links here on mobile.

    • Solanacaea (Nighty) says:

Yeah just read it.. From the transcript:

There have been a lot of links between you and Tom Hiddleston, about you two dating. I don’t know if that’s something you confirm, but how do you feel —
“I mean, we definitely are friends and we’ve known each other for about four years. And we happened to be at a restaurant at a wrong time having dinner. We all go out to dinner.”
How do you react when you see that in the press?
“Well, apparently, I’m dating Chris Evans, and apparently, I’ve dated Jeremy Renner, so I guess that… I don’t react to it.”
      So you’re not dating Tom?
“No. I mean people can think what they want to think.”

      • Lilacflowers says:

What? There’s no sordid love triangle between Captain America and Loki? Horrors!

      • NUTBALLS says:

*Happened* to be at a pap-friendly restaurant? I’m calling BS on that statement.

So basically, that pap walk was for the purpose of getting some media attention.

      • Diane says:

Guess we will never know. Like she said people are going to believe what they want. TH seems like a nice guy, so does she. Hope they are happy whoever they go out with.

      • TotallyBiased says:

We discussed this a bit back in the original thread, but that restaurant has been lower tier so far as pap encounters go for nearly a year. Choices for an upscale restaurant open late (after theatre) are a little limited, too. So whether they tried having a date or not, I’m still not convinced it was a deliberate pap move on their part
I’m more likely to believe some staffer called the paps for moolah, and let out that they were going through the back exit as well.

      • NUTBALLS says:

TB, its possible a staffer called, certainly. But Tom is rarely papped after theatre outings. You know he’s going, since that’s something he does when he’s home, but there aren’t hardly any this year, when he’s been home for months.

He knows how to stay off the radar when he wants to, ie JA who we know he was seeing for at least a year’s time, so I can’t buy into the suggestion that he had a limited choice of restaurants that led to them getting papped. He manages to avoid them most of the time when he’s home.

      • Lilacflowers says:

People were tweeting he was in the theater from the moment he walked in, which usually doesn’t happen to the extent that it did. They tweeted right before the play started, during the interval, and some were actually tweeting during the performance. Where was Patti Lupone when Bradley Cooper needed her. So, any pap with an active twitter account knew where he was. When they left the theater, other audience members were filming them and posted that on twitter so any pap with an active twitter account, which is pretty much all of them, knew they were out together and that they were walking because they didn’t hop into a car at the theater. They know all the restaurants open for after-theater dinner in the area.

      • Heather says:

Well, thank god she finally said *something* about it, though I am still side-eyeing the ‘date’ at the restaurant. I’d have been waiting until my face turned blue for him to address it. Not that they should have to, but when it’s running rife all over the tabloids, some journalist is going to ask about it eventually. Now that I think about it, when Tom was rumoured to be with Jessica Chastain, she was the one that had to clear that one up, too… Oh, Thomas.

Anyway. Moving on. High Rise red carpet is a go!

      • InvaderTak says:

The love triangle one still cracks me up. I wonder if getting that to go away was the real reason behind the pap walk with Ponytail Queen that Cap did recently. And I still think that someone on EO’s side was leaking something to someone. Those stories were definitely trying to build her up.

@Heather: Not sure why it’s a bad thing that he never says anything about anything. It prolongs the story, and people believe what they want anyway.

Hopefully this nonsense is over. It was getting a little out there.

      • NUTBALLS says:

InvaderTak. I firmly believe it came from her camp, not his. I’m glad it got addressed, even if there is some vagueness as to what may or may not have transpired up until now.

Even though I don’t plan to see the movie, it’s nice to see him doing another red carpet, even if it was painfully short! Curious how this movie will be received too.

      • browniecakes says:

That’s it. Move along. Nothing to see here folks. Good for Lizzie for being a sport about the rumors. Makes you wonder why no one asked her directly before.

      • A.Key says:

That’s not a clear no. That’s a “we’re not committing to anything but we do mess around if we feel like it and are not above stirring the waters for some PR money” answer.

      • Mary-Alice says:

Nutballs, they got attention, didn’t they? The papped outing achieved its purpose, job done. BTW, I’d bet money on her people calling and not his.

  23. DT says:

I don’t believe that nothing happened though, I think it is just over between them.

  24. Beach girl says:

Still somewhat vague. I wouldn’t confirm a relationship to an interviewer either unless it was pretty serious. Could be still dating casually , but with his schedule and living on two continents it makes maintaining anything serious right now difficult. Good answer.

  27. Beach girl says:

Et Canada interview where discusses the 38 day shoot. He was in every shot and said he had no down time for “anything ” else or to decompress. Subtle. Interesting it comes out the same day she denies relationship. So I’m done with this topic. Time to move on to butt naked Thomas Sharpe!

    • NUTBALLS says:

He went 38 days without decompressing with his co-star that he had incredible onset chemistry with? The costar who was engaged at the beginning of filming and not engaged at the end of filming? The same co-star with whom rumors have been flying around for 6 months? Perhaps. We’ll never know.

      • DT says:

yeah there have been way too many sightings of them acting as a couple around his area for them to deny nothing went on, it looks like its ended and now damge control. Maybe the pap walk really pissed her off. Maybe she genuinely didnt know about it, maybe its been team tom tipping off press all along, using her name to get into the just jared and the us weekly mags, maybe she is pissed that she is being accused of cheating or maybe she has seen Tom in his normal environment and doesn’t like his social media stance or pap loving antics. so many maybes…… anyway cannot WAIT for high rise finally all this bullshit can stop.

      • NUTBALLS says:

DT, she could be lying out her teeth (celebs do that) or they could be banging casually (as single people do). Either way, they are not going to admit they’re hooking up to a journo.

Frankly, I don’t care what they’re doing in the sack as long as they put the rumor mill to rest. Lie if you must, but please make it staahp.

      • Lilacflowers says:

I’m really liking that blue shirt.

      • et alors says:

Did you like how he was referred to as “ever so handsome,” TotallyBiased? He’s had men and women swooning over him in Toronto, from the staff at People/EW to InStyle to Variety. Even Chaz Ebert, Roger Ebert’s widow, tweeted about Tom’s hypnotic eyes after meeting him at one of the parties last night.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Men, women, and the little boy from Room have been swooning over him.

    • marylinn says:

‘she … doesn’t like…. pap loving antics’—WTF??? What??!! What his ‘pap loving antics’ do you mean???!!! When?? Where??

      • Lilacflowers says:

Let’s see, pap loving antics: tried to hail a cab in July 2015; attended Benedict Cumberbatch’s wedding in February 2015; walked through LAX to catch a plane back to London in December 2014 and refused to answer questions about the Sony leaks while doing so; walked through LAX wearing a hoodie and headphones after filming for ISTL in December 2014; walked around his hotel in Toronto in April 2014; walked out of a cafe in London where he often has breakfast at some point in 2013. The guy’s pap-loving antics are rather boring and involve walking. The Affleck-Garner nanny has been papped more than he has in the past two years.

      • DT says:

omg calm down I was being sarcastic……..
don’t need to jump so quick on the ‘must defend Tom at all costs’ train so quick lilacflowers, jesus.

      • Catherine says:

Those Toronto “walking” pics last year, loads of quality photos in various places (incl a bus stop) which appeared the w/end OLLA was released in the US and he had to fly back to London for the Oliviers. No way a random pap could get pics like that w/o some cooperation IMO.

EO does those pics where she’s walking round the farmers market or whatever.

According to a friend who works in media, you don’t go to a place like The Wolseley unless you want to be papped, neither of them are high profile enough to just happen to be in a situation like that, and there are plenty of restaurants open late where they wouldn’t have been noticed.

      • Lilacflowers says:

@DT, I was answering Marylinn and I’m cool, calm, and collected.

@Catherine, combined that is still less than the Affleck nanny.

      • Catherine says:

Lilac, oh I agree. Was someone comparing them? That Ouzounian woman is a thirsty famewhore whose known as being a nanny who sh***** Affleck. Tom & EO are up and coming actors who need to sell themselves and keep their profile up so they play the game. What annoys me a little is Tom is so private then does things like the theatre/restaurant thing, it’s contradictory. Just my opinion.

And I’m agreeing with Nutballs, Heather and DT’s comments above; something was going on when she was in London then it ended and she went back to the US. Whether it was casual all along or something else who knows. She wasn’t going to say “we’re just f-buddies”.

Those fingers! I’m dying! He sang much softer so I hear more of Rick. And I would prefer not to hear more of Rick.

  30. The Understudy says:

My own view is I think much of the criticism levelled at ISTL is valid but there is so much to enjoy about this film too. Some of the scenes will melt hearts and Tom is rarely off the screen, a hinderance only in that the other characters felt underdeveloped. Fans of Tom can delight in that screen presence and how well he is shot. The gloriously ethereal opening of him alone in the spotlight singing Cold Cold Heart, a touching scene with Audrey by the crib of their son, my favourite scene with a garage door and a marvellous rendition of Why Don’t You Love Me which he totally nails. I could go on. I don’t think it’s a flawless performance; the accent slips, though only in the odd word and for those aware of Tom; that laugh occasionally comes out full on Hiddleston!

I don’t think the screenplay had enough depth, too many scenes that rush over events, it is based on a book that lists a lot of facts so I suppose it’s adapted truthfully to an extent. Tom wasn’t really given enough to work with. Hank is miles away from who he is which is the challenge in the role that he really steps up to. Tom himself discussed Hank’s alcoholism and noted he just did not have that gene in him.

So many films are made and so few get Oscar nominated and those are still to be announced. I urge people to see this film and reserve their judgment until after viewing the movie. I enjoyed it despite it’s flaws.

High Rise is my next screening and for this I have much higher expectations, I think he will just inhabit Laing with ease.

    • Lilacflowers says:

      Thanks for the review.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Yes, thank you. I’m still looking forward to seeing it, for the performances.

    • Miss Jupitero says:

Thank you, Under Study. Now I really do want to see this.

When I think of all the Ben Afflecks of the world– feh. Let them rot. I really hope that everything else he is working on works out splendidly. TommyAnnE has earned it.

I’m a little drunk on high-quality gin tonight, so please disregard me.

No no no no nooooooooooooooo. 🙁

      • NUTBALLS says:

People either love it or hate it. There isn’t anything in the middle. People walked out during the show. Reactions will be strong either way, it seems.

        “HIGH-RISE isn’t SNOWPIERCER in a condo, it’s COSMOPOLIS.”

“HIGH-RISE is a wonderfully mad piece of cinema. Super faithful Ballard adaptation, both to its benefit and detriment. ”

“#HighRise: fear and loathing on the social ladder. above and beyond; unforgettable experience”

“Well that’s 2 hours I’ll never get back. Polite tepid applause for Ben Wheatley’s #HighRise, worst film I’ve seen at #TIFF15 so far”

“High Rise was kind of like Snowpiercer but awful”

“I would like to have my two hours back please, High-Rise.”

“High-Rise was… interesting. Not my cup of tea, but then it did have Tom Hiddleston dancing and in various states of undress.”

“HIGH RISE: like a nightmare you can’t wake up from; incoherent, irritating and something you’ll hope to forget.”

“#highrise is more interested in metaphors than story. Too bad I like my movies with less ironies than character developments.”

      • TotallyBiased says:

Huh–the tweets I’m seeing are positive, in a weirdly anarchic delirious kind of way. Love the person who tweeted “the people in fancy-dress walking out murmuring they don’t get it. No, you wouldn’t.” Heehee. Collider Frosty says some wwill love, he thinks most will not, but he needs to see it again.

      • Kait says:

        Kind of mixed.

This one mentions what I was concerned with about this movie, unfortunately:

“#highrise is more interested in metaphors than story. Too bad I like my movies with less ironies than character developments.”

If it’s too heavy handed, it’ll turn off the both the audience who doesn’t “get it” and the audience who does, as no one likes to be pounded over the head.

Will HR be a cult favorite? If I show my ID, can I at least see a trailer?

    • Cindy says:

      From@Mikey Gorman:
Credits are rolling on #Highrise . Holy flipping wow did I love that movie.

    • et alors says:

Yeah, the reactions have been very divisive, with some people unsure of how they feel, which I expected, but now, I’m thinking I can’t watch the movie. It’s going to be too much.

  36. Alice says:

So, Elizabeth confirmed they are not dating. Just thought I would throw that in: http://www.refinery29.com/2015/09/93890/elizabeth-olsen-i-saw-the-light-tom-hiddleston-tiff

  37. Leah says:

i find her very pretty, him not so much, he seems really nice and decent though. apparently she denied they are dating.

  38. Miss Jupitero says:

Lilacflowers? Please Colin that he may need to make extra strong bloody marys tomorrow. I suspect the morning is going to be epic.

    This:

Wow. I want to see rhis. I am not surprised though that there will be plenty of people who will really hate it.

    • Lilacflowers says:

Colin has received your order and woke me up to tell me that he is tending to. Extra strong bloody marys on the veranda buffet and in the meadow dispensing machines.

    • p'enny says:

@lilacflowers, i can’t believe weve been talking about the balcony scene for so loooong now its getting closer to a viewing. There is a strategically placed newspaper but i am having words with Mr Wheatley to airbrush it out so we can see as it should, in all it’s ‘impressive erection’

      • Lilacflowers says:

@p’enny, careful, we don’t need Mr. Wheatley getting restraining order against you. Just hope that someone spills champagne from above the balcony onto the newspaper.

  39. Miss Jupitero says:

    From twitter:

The particular breed of sin-icism found in #HighRise is bound to make it a cult favorite. #TIFF15

Credits are rolling on #Highrise . Holy flipping wow did I love that movie. #TIFF15

Oh my god. Guys. If you watch #HighRise – please please PLEASE bring extra underwear. @twhiddleston #TOMHIDDLESTON @tiff_net

    Magnificently weird, weirdly magnificent. #HighRise

I was just going to post this! My fave spoiler EVER for any Tom Hiddleston movie!

But the real question is–do we get to see Loki’s Pokey Stick?

My friend was at the premiere today. The answer to this very important question is NO…

My friend’s comment on High-Rise is this is a very cult movie. A lot of violence and sex

  41. et alors says:

Rave-ish review for High-Rise from ScreenDaily:

In Tom Hiddleston, the director has found an actor who can deliver the central character’s essential distance with the right mix of sympathy, intelligence and raw carnality. The film sings, and, frequently, dances; it feels alive.

    • Heather says:

“raw carnality”. Well then. This fits right in with tumblr comments I’ve read with regard to sex faces and thrusting.

I’ve changed my mind about needing to be tipsy to watch this. I must experience it with all my senses intact lol.

    • p'enny says:

i love this review, i jsut dropped a comment about it further up. I suspect its written in advance of the film screening, but its thought it and polished.

  42. j says:

Elizabeth Olsen did not arrive at the High-Rise premiere with Tom. She actually arrived hand in hand with Marc Abraham – the director of ISTL. High-Rise is the hot ticket and many celebrities are there.

    • DT says:

ok so what about this, its lizzie and marc having a secret affair all along and using tom as a distraction from whats really going on amd tom was happy to go along with it coz he didnt want that scandle to take any attention away from HIS first leading man film…… now that would be a story… haha im joking by the way before anyone jumps on me

      • Lilacflowers says:

I think you may have guessed the truth. 😉

      • Freshmeat says:

Is she’s taking more than just fashion tips from the twins?

      • DT says:

haha can you imagine if it was true? ick! is he married? it is weird to hold hands with him though, unless she is really tryin to distance herself from Tom, Im still not sure I believe nothing is going on with THEO, anyway who cares for now singing, dancing naked Tom. I dont care about ISTL but im glad high rise got some good reviews I liked that book.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Do you think a mini-cooper was involved?

      • Miss Jupitero says:

I cast side eye on all of them then.

      • DT says:

Mini cooper? what? ☺ am I being dumb? Have I missed something? I dont get it 😳

      • Kitty says:

This sounds horrible but after I saw that photo I thought she’d gone the same way as her sisters

      • NUTBALLS says:

Holding hands with Marc? The Olsen girls do have a preference for older men.

        Still… ick.

  43. TotallyBiased says:

Lainey famously dumped our man Tom from her lust club due to his twitter feed (this was some time ago). Evidently she has found herself back in the Dragonfly Fold, judging by her tweet of Sunday morning.
