If you caught the VH1 reality show “Breaking Bonaduce,” then you know that former child star Danny Bonaduce is a steroid-fueled substance abuser and pathological liar who took great joy in bullying his doormat of a wife, Gretchen. As the series ended, Gretchen finally found her backbone and initiated divorce proceedings- after many, many sessions of counseling in which Danny behaved like a giant 4-year-old. With all that in mind, Gretchen still thought it was a good idea to go on Danny’s radio show, expecting him to act like a decent human being. The only person in the universe who was surprised when he behaved like a horse’s ass? You guessed it- Gretchen.
Sexy photos have caused a war between Danny Bonaduce and his ex-wife Gretchen.
Their turbulent marriage was featured on the reality show “Breaking Bonaduce” and now their relationship has exploded -six months after their divorce was finalized!
Gretchen, who filed for divorce in 2007, says their relationship had been amicable until last month when she appeared on his radio show, “The Danny Bonaduce Show” in Philadelphia – and he launched a verbal attack on her.
“I went on Danny’s radio show under the condition that he would be civil, but he ended up ambushing me with lies and insults,” Gretchen told The Enquirer in an exclusive interview.
Gretchen blames Danny’s shocking on-air outburst on his jealousy over her post-marriage career success and the scantily-clad photos of her that appeared in February’s “Steppin’ Out” magazine.
“HE degraded me for doing the risque photo shoot, saying I claim to be a good Baptist girl, which I am, ” she said. “I would never do a fully nude shoot, even though I’ve had plenty of big offers.
“He also falsely accused me of having sex with a man a week before we got married, which couldn’t be further from the truth.
“Danny lashed out at me for dating a married man, but the full story is, my boyfriend has been going through a complicated divorce since 2001.
“Besides, Danny has no room to talk, especially since he cheated on me many times throughout our marriage! He was extremely rude, and I am still traumatized that he sunk so low, but I shouldn’t be surprised.”

I saw the “Steppin’ Out” photos- they were far from risque; mostly bathing suit, pinup-style shots. Meanwhile, Danny, let’s not forget, has a habit of getting drunk and stripping down completely naked in public! But I suppose he thinks that’s okay. As for his accusation that Gretchen had sex with someone a week before they got married – well, they got married just hours after their first date! He truly is a moron. And what’s with Danny’s new fiancee– who is a dead ringer for Gretchen when she was younger? I wonder how long it will be before he starts terrorizing her, too. The bottom line is, Danny Bonaduce is a world-class creep. But nobody knows this better than his ex wife- she should have known better than to go anywhere near his show.

I saw him one night at Ameoba Records on Sunset in LA. This was about 3 years ago, and let me tell you the dude is a scary little steroided out midget in person and crazazy! Crazy like a homeless person who mumbles to themselves and looks menacing, and makes you cross the street. People kept their distance. I am amazed this dude can keep any sort of job. And Gretchen, I have no idea what kept you around that long.

She wouldn’t have stuck with him for 17 years if she just married him for money, and who knows if he even had that….she probably just got used to him but then it finally became too much.

He’s always been sort of a douche nozzle, hasn’t he? My cousins and I were out at the Viper room a couple of years ago while on vacation out there and he happened to be there drunk off his behind. He kept coming on to my married red headed cousin, trying to buy her drinks, muscling in between us all to try to dance with her, it was so lame it was almost hysterical! He just wouldn’t take no for an answer. Finally we told a bouncer who made sure we weren’t bothered further. I just thought he was pathetic.

Now that is just tacky and idiotic. Insulting the mother of one’s children is just plain immature and rude, and it is like slapping the kids across the face by saying such things about their mother. It goes both ways too, and Gretchen also needs to rein in her words. They still have a lot of unresolved issues with each other if they’re letting the words fly. The poor kids. They’re going to have real issues.

I find Bonaduche hysterical. I laughed till I cried when he hooked on the dog’s shock collar and let the kids hold the trigger. In a watching a train wreck is so much fun kind of way.

It must be nice to have a house in Hollywood Hills with a $16,000 check from your crazy ex every month along with the rest she was awarded in the divorce. Then to be shacked up in it with your married boyfriend. She is a far cry from the good Christian girl she has always tried to make herself out to be. She is not a victim. She married him after one date. Everyone in L.A. has known how crazy he is for years including her. She went out with him anyway. She is a gold digger. I feel bad for the kids. Well according to scripture, jesus taught us as women, that as christians any of us that divorces her husband must remain single or to reconcile. In that aspect, any woman who disobeys christ and gets involved with another man, while her husband is still alive is defined as a biblical “adulterous”. Also, we are to be pure before marriage, and dress MODEST, wearing the cloth of good deeds more than anything. She says she is a baptist, but her actions do not reflect it. As for danny, I pray that he finds peace and truth in this life, centered in christ who can release from all bondage. The kids are so cute and I hope that somehow god shield them.
