Here are some photos from last night’s Elle Magazine “Women In Hollywood” event. Elle Mag actually got some big name people to show up, although the red carpet itself was pretty uneventful. No one looked absolutely terrible and no one really killed it. Alicia Vikander wore Louis Vuitton to this event (which was sponsored by Calvin Klein). This is actually one of the better LV dresses that she’s worn this year (since becoming an LV brand ambassador).
Meanwhile, Michael Fassbender’s ex Zoe Kravitz was also at the event. Zoe is totally morphing into her mother as she gets older, right? So beautiful. There was some talk about how Zoe and Alicia “avoided” each other, but I’ve seen photos of them posing together with Dakota Johnson, so they didn’t really “avoid” each other. Zoe’s probably wearing Calvin Klein.
Here’s Dakota Johnson and her mom Melanie Griffith. I kind of like that Dakota brings her mom as her date to so many events these days. I wonder what Melanie thinks when she sees her fresh-faced and lovely daughter? Is she proud? Does Melanie regret her own face work? Dakota’s dress is Calvin Klein, by the way.
I’m not so sure about your hair, Mary J. Blige.
Amy Schumer looks great here. I watched part of her HBO special last night and I enjoyed it.
I think Salma Hayek might have been the best dressed?

Alicia is adorable, Vitton get up – not so much.
And I loved Zoe Kravitz, there is just something about her, her personality, it is like a warm light, you want it to shine on you.
Miranda Kerr is usually above reproach in her clothes, I am not sure what happened here.,
I’m just staring at Kerr trying to figure out why.
Salma gets my vote. But the rest belongs to the rogue’s gallery of fugly.
But the best dress of that event imo was Carey Mulligan.

Miranda’s suit looks fine but the top and the belt – just no. She doesn’t age. I believe her obsessive superfood diet routine really works, even though she’s extremely thin like all the other models. Alicia’s outfit is really bad. She looks 12 as usual. Carey’s got a massive cleavage at the moment. I’ve never seen her wear anything that showed off her cleavage before.
Gracious Zoe is stunning.
And yes Salma was best dressed.

Agree with the assessment that everyone looks nice, except that silly belt on Amanda Kerr.
Zoe is very beautiful to me. She looks like both parents, I think. A lovely gene pool.

Zoe is very beautiful but I googled photos of her mum when she was younger and she was a stunning beauty. I think her mum was more unique looking.
Zoe’s too cool to throw tantrums because she’s at the sane event as her exes girlfriend. She strikes me as the live and let live type.
Amy looks great in berry/reds. It suits her.

Alicia is a cute girl but she never knocks it out of the park when it comes to fashion. This outfit looks like something court jester would wear.

Alicia’s outfit is awful – it looks like Pocahontas meets adidas. Is LV trying to punish her for something?
And oh god Miranda. WHY. Is she auditioning for an episode of AHS?
Step away from LV. The outfit is unflattering and seems a little too casual for the event. Alicia looks so much better in other designers.
I can’t decide if Alicia, who almost always looks sleepy and/or over it on red carpets, is just wearing very heavy false lashes or if it’s a thought-out ‘look’.
I see a lot of Lenny in Zoe, also. She’s gorgeous, both parents are fantastic looking.
Alicia’s dress would look better on someone else. I haven’t seen her do that odd smile before, but it is weird to me.
Alicia and Dakota look great to me; the rest are fug especially Miranda. Her getup is hideous.

I find Alicia incredibly beautiful, though not necessarily sympathetic. Her style of dressing is interesting, I think, she seems to choose things which are bit bohemian chic and they look good on her slim dancer’s body. Alicia is the kind of girl whose beauty I would have been envious of in high school. Dakota is also beautiful, but in a subtle, vulnerable way which has its own charms.
I’m sure it’s handcrafted, painstakingly stitched and embroidered and very very expensive… but Alicia’s dress looks like something I bought at Urban Outiftters 6 years ago.

Alicia really is so very pretty, albeit sleepy looking usually, but there is something so off with the way she’s being styled.
Zoe has the best gene pool in the business.
I think she looks really pretty and I love her styling here. I think she stands out bc she is not so overstyled. I thought the dress was super cute when u see the details. I think Dakota dresses awful, always in unflattering long slip dresses that don’t seem to fit her, but from the neck up she looks better then she had in a long time! Why is Miranda Kerr still around?! Not feeling Zoe’s outfit but she’s cool anyway.
Weinstein girl looks awful, ew! Harvey got her a contract in LV but they give her their worst outfits. Jesus! Weinstein boy is still doing her? Why does he always date women who look like his daughter? Zoe, now it girl…who’s next? Alexandra Shipp, another co-star from X-Men?
