@yae, why not make it easy and you google it and supply links to back your comment?

I know that we aided him in Iraq’s war with Iran, such as intelligence, spy satellites, guaranteed loans for oil pipelines,funneled funds for arms, etc.
I found this 1994 US Senate report interesting;
“Billions of dollars worth of raw materials, machinery and equipment, missile technology and other “dual-use” items were also supplied by West German, French, Italian, British, Swiss and Austrian corporations, with the approval of their governments (German firms even sold Iraq entire factories capable of mass-producing poison gas).
US exports to Iraq included the precursors to chemical warfare agents, plans for chemical and biological warfare facilities and chemical warhead filling equipment. ”
Guess that’s why it was thought he had WMD’s? The US was not the only country in bed with Iraq. You lie down with dogs, you get fleas, it goes both ways.

Seeing our government hired Saddam, craddled him and even sold him the chemical weapons (google it, its a fact), I think its beyond disgusting. Anyone with an ounce of education knows every weapon Saddam used was American made. To censor that is to censor accurate history.

Hey Ling…have you been in the Army or around most Army guys? lol It is pretty much a frat, good or bad. I was in the Army for 8 years. Esp when deployed…a frat is exactly what it is, actually a polite way to say it. Really, do you care how Saddam Hussein is being treated? It’s a movie (and a hysterical one of that). He wasn’t being tortured, loosen up a bit.

I hope they didn’t force him to sit through it over and over again. Obviously I’m not in sympathy with the man, but that sort of needling of condemned prisoners makes the soldiers and by extension the whole american army look like idiot frat boys.
