Over the weekend, one of the photo agencies ran these exclusive photos of Jennifer Garner and her youngest daughter, Seraphina, 6, on Halloween with the caption “Does Jennifer Garner have a new boyfriend? The actress and her daughter enjoy Halloween with a handsome mystery man who was very hands-on helping Seraphina ride her bike.” The guy looked more like a helper type or a random person who was trying to deal with the fact that there were paparazzi taking his picture. Plus if Garner was dating someone I doubt she would be bringing him for pap walks at this point. She’s too calculated for that.
Radar ran those photos with the title “Jennifer Garner Spotted With Mystery Hunk After Split With Ben Affleck.” I would love if that was the case for her, but again it’s really doubtful. Star claimed that Garner has gone on a date since her split and that it was a disaster, but there’s not much evidence for that other than their story.
Now we have confirmation that this is just some guy helping out, sort of. A “source” told Gossip Cop that the guy is a helpful neighbor. It’s not an official denial, but I don’t see why they should go on the record with one for this photo assumption. At least they didn’t try to turn this into a “Jennifer is moving on and hanging out with the neighbors” narrative for People Magazine.
In related news, there are new photos of Ben Affleck on the Georgia set of Live By Night yesterday. He’s wearing comically oversized clothes, which were in style during the prohibition era period. Still, Boardwalk Empire is set in the same time period and those characters wear fitted suits. Affleck is directing and playing the lead, the lead, Joe Coughlin. Coughlin is “not a heavy character” according to commenter Abby, who read the book.

The standard for “hunks” must have slipped since my day. While the guy looks perfectly pleasant, and is obviously a helpful guy, a hunk he is not. I am sure that Ben is seething over these pictures, and that can only be a good thing. Score 1 for Jen.

Comically oversized clothes are a refreshing change for Ben compared to those moob-revealing t-shirts he has been sporting.

She’s looking good, if only she could hire somebody to dress her and stop presenting the asexual mommy image. She could easily upgrade from Affleck if she enhanced her natural looks with attractive, flattering clothing and good hair.

She’s doing worse. Casual wear, who cares. Some of the female stars and what they wear is worse when out and about, just not papped as often. But she seems to be getting worse with her night-time event wear, which she used to be good at. She hosted a couple’s foundation fundraiser over the weekend, and this is her outfit. So bad. Her shoewear is a big F again.

Oh my, that’s tragic. She has so much potential, it’s like she’s purposely trying to make herself as unappealing as possible. I don’t understand her at all. She has the natural beauty and all the resources in the world to transform herself into hotness and if she did she wouldn’t have to try to win her husband back, he’d be begging and competing with much more tempting options but she seems to prefer the sad mommy martyr role.
She always looks better without makeup. Her skin is lovely. The news is eh.
