James McAvoy looks tired for a casual outing in London: would you hit it?

Here are some photos of your boyfriend James McAvoy in London today. He was leaving the KIIS FM radio station and he looked a little bit pissed off. Possibly because he and Daniel Radcliffe are promoting Victor Frankenstein, which looks… um, kind of bad. So bad that I truly wonder why McAvoy even signed on for the film. Anyway, James looks good (if a bit pissy) in these photos. I prefer him with longer hair, honestly. He has great hair and I love him especially when he’s rocking his gingery beard.

I mentioned McAvoy yesterday in the post about the Evening Standard Theatre Awards. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Hamlet got majorly snubbed, but McAvoy’s turn in The Ruling Class was not snubbed at all. In fact, most people believe The Ruling Class was the best London play of the year and that McAvoy is due #AllTheAwards.

Meanwhile, McAvoy has signed on to three new projects in the past month. He’s going to team with M. Night Shyamalan on a horror/thriller film called Split. Little is known about the plot, but it will be a 2017 release. McAvoy will also be filming The Coldest City with Charlize Theron, which is based on a graphic novel by the same name. The story is about “a spy (Theron) investigating the death of an undercover MI6 officer in Germany just before the fall of the Berlin Wall.” That begins filming this month. I’m guessing (??) that McAvoy will play the MI6 officer? That should be interesting. And finally, McAvoy has just signed on to Wim Wenders’ Submergencego here to read about that plot.

Mmmm…all day, every day. He seems to have a pretty good picker. For projects, I mean. 🙂

He picked some pretty meh projects in the past, but he clearly is trying to establish himself as versatile and more than some angel-faced ingénue. It’s working in my opinion but I am of course biased since I would hit that all day, every day, lol. Such a gorgeous wee hunk.

PS: I don’t think he looks pissed. I saw some pics on Instagram too and he very sweetly took his time with the fans and posed with them.

    James is always fabulous.

He’s cute but I’ll leave him for the rest of the ladies here. Its not really Bendy’s years for awards and I agree that he’s given better performances in other plays – he was great in Frankenstein.

I hope McAvoy wins but it’ll be close between him, Fiennes and Beale.

He used to be hotter. Sorry….

    absolutely 100%

A pocket Hercules if ever there was one. So much talent contained in a smallish frame. The MI6 movie sounds great, I love a good spy thriller.

  7. Alana says:

Not anymore damn . Maybe he had a rough …month

Hey does Tom Hiddleston know you’ve nicked his boots James?

  9. What was that says:

I don’t really understand the description as ‘pissy’..it looses in translation….
James just looks like he is giving someone a bit of ‘side eye’..but doesn’t appear annoyed..and possibly a bit tired…I think sometimes in real light these boys are not as fabulous as in the posed photos…but to me he still looks good ..
An expression from this side of the Atlantic would be..’I wouldn’t kick him out of bed’….!!

I saw him in The Ruling Class. HE WAS PHENOMENAL. I didn’t think the rest of the play was as strong as his performance, but he himself definitely deserves #AllTheAwards. I also saw Cumberbatch’s Hamlet. As a production I thought it was better than The Ruling Class, but McAvoy’s performance was king.

All day every day. My one free pass from the hubby-yes please. 🙂

    He was quoted as saying

[on his relationship with his wife] We keep our noses clean and keep our stuff private. We don’t have affairs, we don’t turn up to parties, we don’t fall out of places drunk. We’re not that interesting. I don’t wear a dress where you can see my knickers when I’m getting out of a taxi. Do you know what I mean? I find all that weird.

I find him interesting and his words on the generation/s below him also good.

  13. EN says:

    I wouldn’t , he is married.
But he has absolutely gorgeous eyes, pictures here don’t do him justice.

  14. silken_floss says:

Eh, he never did it for me.. He’s all yours, ladies

  15. Lilacflowers says:

Nice to have a MacAvoy thread

  16. Magpie says:

He gets a pass, dude looks tired. But yes, always.

  17. Tessa says:

    With the lights on

  18. amilu says:

Aw, he’ll look so wee next to Charlize Theron (if not in the movie — as it sounds like they won’t share scenes — but on the red carpet).

  19. Annie says:

    Would totally hit it.

  20. Renee says:

Most definitely. Love me some James.

  21. Finaste says:

Would hit it all day, every day. One day I realized from pictures that my husband’s father looked identical to James when he was younger. I’ve had a hard time looking at my father-in-law ever since….

  22. Sochan says:

He’s tiny, but I adore him. Phenomenal actor and sweet face with a great personality.

  23. serena says:

I was really looking forward to a McAvoy and Radcliffe collab, is it really looking that bad? That makes me sad, because they’re both dashing and talented. Anyway I would always hit it.
