In random hookup news, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville has been linked to British model – and former paramour of Lindsay Lohan – Calum Best. The pair have made a few appearances on Brandi’s Instagram account – hiking in the mountains, spending Thanksgiving together and just looking cozy.
Calum dated LiLo back in 2006. Brandi lost her hubby of 9 years, Eddie Cibrian, to country crooner LeAnn Rimes in 2010. The two are among the cast members for E!’s latest reality show, Famously Single. The show centers around 8 “celebrities” (and I’m using this term very loosely) who have been losers in love sharing an L.A. loft together and working with counselors to attempt to uncover the reason they can’t find love. In addition to Brandi and Calum, the cast includes Jersey Shore‘s GTL-loving Pauly D, Bachelorette alum Josh Murray, former Danity Kane lead singer Aubrey O’Day, supermodel Jessica White, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood‘s Somaya Reece and former NFL running back Willis McGahee.
A source told US Magazine that the 43-year-old Brandi and 34-year-old Calum were “sort of dating,” adding “It’s more of a hookup situation.”
Hookup, really? One of Brandi’s followers on Instagram already called the housewife out, posting “Why aren’t u in any of @mrcalumbest’s posts @thebrandiglanville? You’re showing him off but he doesn’t seem to be doing the same.” To which Brandi replied, “We have 2 pics together babe & were just friends so I’m not really concerned.”
Can you say “publicity stunt”? I sure as hell can. There hasn’t been a buzzed-about, celebrity-based reality show since “Rock of Love” (RIP…) Sorry, Pauly D. Do those photoshopped pics of me and Jon Hamm mean that we’re an item now?
Update by Celebitchy: Calum Best was recently accused, and cleared, of sexual assault charges. Corey was not aware of that when she wrote this story.

Her taste in men is atrocious. If there is a useless pretty boy somewhere who is ‘just not that into’ her, Brandi will always find him.

She’s really jacked her face up badly…now the lips are super sized…nose looks like it has a clown nose on the tip of it…hair extensions scream fake…and the glasses…are intended to make her look intelligent perhaps? Epic fail on all counts. She would sleep with anything and anyone so who cares who she’s hooked up with now. After watching her last season on RHOBH when she hooked up with the Dutch KID…I threw in the towel on any hope of her having a shred of dignity.
Her lips are the same as they’ve always been, as is, her nose. Yes, she has extensions, so does most of Hollywood.
The glasses she’s done for years, and per usual, LeAnn has SWF’d them almost every time Brandi wears them. In fact, LeAnn pulled them out again for her yearly cheap video, “Today is Christmas”.

I think it’s funny somebody called her out on Instagram that she’s trying to make them appear to be a “thing” but he isn’t doing the same. Her response that they’re just friends seems to contradict her try hard in the photos resting her head on his. I don’t know too many “friends” who do that unless one wants the other but it isn’t being reciprocated. I admit, I want this to be true – unwanted advances on Brandi’s part.
Oh, and her mountain climbing….pffft…because she’s such a nature girl. Give me a break.
I love seeing these celebs’ selfies, and then their untouched pap shots…LOL!!! They must spend 20 hours a day photoshopping, filtering and whatnot…exhausting!! Only to go out in person and have people think, “DAMN! You look like hell compared to your pictures!”
If there were fame whore prizes, Calum Best would take gold.

So Brandi isn’t saying it’s a hook-up, but just that they know each other from the show and is helping to promote the show through her social media. Doesn’t sound like a big deal and doesn’t sound like she’s trying to make something up that doesn’t exist.
It sounds like US Mag is just trying to stir up some non-existent gossip. Nothing here to link any blame upon Brandi, imo.
Unrelated Brandi news, her wine has been noted as a “Best Buy” by Wine and Spirits. I was surprised at how good it is. She modeled it after Rombauer and I have to say, it competes. Who’d have thought? It’s good! I wouldn’t have associated any housewife with a quality product, but…there you go. She did it.
I have been meaning to try her wine because of all the great reviews.
I did buy one of her shirts last year though and was pleasantly surprised too. It’s very flattering for a t-shirt, has extra long sleeves, doesn’t add bulk when layering, looks great around the waist and hips, and the neckline doesn’t choke you when you sit down. Everything I normally hate about t-shirts were resolved.
It would have been easy to buy regular t-shirts and put text on them but she found t-shirts that actually look good on women.
