Of all the One Direction members, I think Niall Horan may be the one with the least drama. (Correct me if I’m wrong please.) There’s the guy with the hair, Harry Styles, who dated Taylor Swift for a hot minute and will never escape that label, the guy who left, Zayn Malik, the guy who knocked up a random, Louis Tomlinson, and the guy who complains about being famous, Liam Payne. (Update: I’m wrong about Niall, he’s the one who allegedly slept with Ellie Goulding when she was with Ed Sheeran, which is the subject of the song “Don’t.”)
We haven’t really gossiped about Niall, 22, until now. Apparently Niall was making out with Selena Gomez, 23, at Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s 35th birthday party at Bootsy Bellows in LA Friday night. Selena has admitted that she’s dating and hates it. She’s been seen out with her ex, Justin Bieber, but that was possibly for PR purposes and she’s been linked with Niall’s former bandmate, Zayn Malik, which she’s denied. Irish Niall was dating a 21 year-old Australian student named Melissa Whitelaw for a few months, but they split this summer. So both Niall and Selena are single, which is nice to hear. Gomez, 23, and Horan, 22, joined many other celebs at Channing Tatum’s wife and actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s 35th birthday party at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles on Friday night. Gomez and Horan were all over each other—they were seen dancing close together all night, kissing on the lips and hugging a lot, an eyewitness told E! News. Neither has commented.
Both Gomez and Horan’s band had performed earlier in the night at 102.7 KIIS FM’s 2015 Jingle Ball, part of a tour, at Staples Center.
Niall stayed late to watch Gomez perform her set and the pair left the venue together at the same time, another source told E! News.
I don’t know much about Niall but I like this hookup, if only because it squashes Bieber’s hopes for a reconciliation. It’s like his whole album is dedicated to Selena. Plus he just posted another throwback photo with Selena.
Also, I mentioned a little while ago that Selena hasn’t spoken much about her recovery from Lupus. She revealed a couple of months ago that she had received treatment for the autoimmune disease but she didn’t say much about it. To Billboard, Selena revealed that she’s been reluctant to talk about it but that she hopes to make a difference. “It has been overwhelming and the response has been very supportive, which is nice — but it still makes me a little uncomfortable. I waited for the right time to talk about it because I am in a great place and I’m very healthy. I’m not trying to be loud about it: It was time to use my platform to help.” Selena is so well spoken and sensible and she’s been through a lot. If Niall is a decent guy I hope this works out for them. They would be a young music power couple. When they break up, they’ll both have easy headlines and song lyrics too.

What? None of them have been photographed making out with a guy. He’s actually the only one that in the five years of being together, has never had an actual significant gf.
I believe the ‘photographed making out with a guy’ thing was a CDAN blind, and I’ve never seen the photo, either. My guess is that they might have confused Niall with Liam Payne. If you’re not a 1D fan, it’s not all that hard to do.
I heard that his recent girlfriend cheated on her boyfriend with him. (Might have happened before too, can’t remember) I think the boyfriend was on Instagram spilling the beans a while back.. he’s also the one that Ellie Golding “cheated” on while she was with Ed Sheeran, right?

I agree with Ayra – 1D drama is very entertaining. I’m interested to see what happens with Baby Tomlinson, who is supposed to be due soon: conception was supposedly in mid-May, and the good news was announced the first week of July. Since then, the parents have not been seen or photographed together, and Louis says in every interview that he has “nothing planned” for the band’s hiatus next year.
Yeah, he has a habit of getting woth girls in relatioships. He did it with a British reality star who was in a year long realtionship at the time. Louise in Made in Chelsea.
I find it hilarious because just days ago she said she wanted to hook up with Zayn but then he stepped out with Gigi. So I guess she settled for the next best thing LOL
Except Niall is actually a nice guy who doesn’t treat women like sh=t – thus why he is still friends with his exes including Ellie Goulding and even Ed Sheeran is still good friends with him and hung out with him in Vegas earlier this year
Niall Horan could be Allen Leech’s (Branson on Downton) long lost son, right?!
Yes! Allen has even commented on it. He had a pic on social media of the two of them together at an event, Allen captioned it: “Hanging with my doppleganger!” Or something to that effect. Very cute.
I really like him. And not just because he’s Irish. When they were on Ellen recently, he laughed at things almost the whole time. I love a guy who laughs and sees humor in everything.
Basic coupling.
I wouldn’t say Niall’s drama free. He famously slept with Ellie Goulding inspiring Ed Sheeran’s song “Don’t”. He’s friends with Bieber. He likes to date his friend’ exes’, including Barbera Pavin, who’s incidentally also a Bieber ex. Harry and Zayn are all in your face with their drama. Niall’s totally unsuspecting. The 1D guys once said Niall has hooked up with the most girls because he’s so unassuming.

The 1D PR machine is going at full steam matching up group members with photogenic girls who enjoy publicity. Louis Tomlinson was photographed yesterday with Danielle Campbell of the Disney show The Originals, and the British tabloids are trying to link Harry with some bikini model from New Zealand named Georgia Fowler. Only Liam seems to be allowed to enjoy his own company for the time being. Liam, in particular, looks exhausted and ready to enjoy the group’s hiatus.
Him and Harry are the only ones I like from the band. I say great for her!!! She really deserves good things coming her way.
Harry and Niall do a lot of the same things. It’s just that niall gets away with everything under the sun. Whereas, Harry can’t blink without it being in the news or overanalyzed.
They have matching baby faces. It’s cute.
