    I LOVE this outfit!

    • Kitten says:

      Me too. She looks awesome.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Kitten, please go back and read my apology to you about the eating disorder thread. You are one of my favorite people on earth, and I wouldn’t have intentionally hurt you or made you feel bad for anything. I’m sorry I was so blind to the possibilities you spoke about, and I could bite my tongue for being so insensitive.

    • Linn says:

I like it but I think it would look better without the white flower on the top.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I love it too, she looks very polished and classy. I adore that envelope clutch.

  2. antipodean says:

I am thawing on Olivia Wilde ever since her turn on Doll and Em. She showed a very light, humourous, almost droll side of herself. She and Evan Rachel Wood played off each other excellently. This outfit is very flattering on her, and I love a nice cerise!

  3. artpunk44 says:

I’ll say she’s looks lovely and I love her styling here.

  4. Esteph says:

I love love love her styling here! So pretty, I am definitely jealous

  5. Reine_Didon says:

She is stunning. Love it when showbiz women look amazing without necessarily being in gowns or see through skin tight dresses. It shows the real elegance and beauty !

    • Elisa the I. says:

THIS. The only thing I dislike are the wide trousers – they make her look footless. O_o

    • lucy2 says:

I agree, she looks great, and didn’t have to dress in a way that screamed “pay attention to me!”. Very elegant and stylish.

  6. Lee says:

    I agree, Olivia looks great!

  7. Mia4s says:

That picture of Mark Hamill is the best!

No I don’t think Luke is evil but I do think we won’t see much of him until the end (and the next movie?). My bet is he is the “quest” and his reveal is calculated to make us all cry like our inner seven year old. 😉

  8. lucy says:

    Welch, not Welsh. 🙂

  9. Maya says:

Its an amazing outfit. Also i just saw Meadowland and she’s really really good in it!

  10. anne_000 says:

Ha! The bald eagle’s name is Uncle Sam and Uncle Sam was so pissed off at Trump. The symbolism was GREAT!

  11. Monie says:

Never been a fan of pants with that length. I feel there should at least be a peek of the front of her shoes visible. Otherwise It looks like her legs are on backwards.

  12. prettylights says:

I really started to like her after seeing her in Portlandia. I guess I hadn’t realized how funny and silly she can be. She looks great here! I like her understated makeup, old school hair, and the outfit is killer on her.

  13. Isa says:

I’m surprised people like it with that weird granny-ish appliqué and trousers that cover her feet.

    • PennyLane says:

The footless look is hard to carry off – maybe if the trousers were a bit wider at the bottom it wouldn’t look so strange. As is, it looks like she’s about to tip over since she is without feet.

  14. GoLightly says:

She’s gorgeous, but it’s a button-down blouse and high-waisted slacks. I see women go to work in that everyday. Also, I know the 80s and earlier are en vogue again, but I’ve never been a big fan of lace applique.

  15. Norman Bates's Mother says:

That OK! cover is the best thing ever. I used to make similar “art projects” for my grandparents during vacations by cutting out our pictures and gluing them to some paradise-like postcards, as if we were there. I was 5 or 6 though and I’d risk a wild guess that their “Photoshop master” is a wee bit older than that. Makes me wonder what it takes to get their job?- I have 20-something years of experience of gluing stuff to backgrounds.

    • Norman Bates's Mother says:

I meant to write – that OK! cover from featured links below – too late to edit.

    Gorgeous ensemble, very Retro 1940s.

  17. v1nc3nz00 says:

    she does!!!!!

  18. FLORC says:

Minority here, but she looks smug in the 2nd pic. And i’m not loving the blouse color, design on the side, or trousers dragging on the floor. When did Ann Taylor Outlets become red carpet?

    • antipodean says:

You are probably right FLORC, she has an unfortunate RBF, and probably comes off better in person/motion. It is part of the reason I have never been a big fan of hers, but as I said above, having seen more of her recent work, I am starting to thaw a little in that regard. Also there may be a little too much botulinum in the face.

  19. BJ says:

Olivia looks simply flawless here. She found her groove again lately.

  20. ghorbanifor says:

    amazingly overrated

  21. morc says:

    Matronly.
    Looks like Jane Fonda.

  22. LAK says:

Love the blouse, but not the trousers.
