I love JK Rowling and I miss Harry Potter, so looking forward to this! Somehow over the last year Eddie has really become one of my favourites. He really is very talented and his good looks don’t hurt. He seems perfect for this role, so… yeah. On board.

  2. Lucky Charm says:

    Eddie Redmayne…sigh (swoon!)

Off topic: Duchess Kate wore RED to the children’s charity she visited! And Kelly Rutherford is not allowed to ever bring the children back to the U.S. From now on she can only visit them in France and Monaco.

    • Gina says:

Wow! I shouldn’t be surprised, but I can’t believe Kelly lost custody! I think that was always going to be the natural conclusion to her self-destructive, perpetual victim, scorned ex-wife campaign of hatred though.

Those poor kids, I wish them well with their father.

ETA I hope she doesn’t do anything crazy now….

      • Betti says:

I can believe she lost custody – she effectively kidnapped them with an American Judge forcing her to bring them to court. No court on the planet was ever going to look kindly on that stunt. She will do something cray cray – she’ll probably abscond with them during one of her visits to France.

    • lucy2 says:

Wow! I’m glad they were tough on Kelly. She had set rules and willingly ignored them, causing great stress to everyone, especially the kids. The decision seems to be the most stable and best for the kids, plus now they won’t be trotted out for every photo op in the Hamptons all summer.

    • Lurker says:

I wonder what Dan Abrams has to say now.

    • claire says:

I’m glad that finally resolved with the right outcome. I’m sure Kelly will go on yet another victim tour but she brought this on herself. The only victims here are him and the kids. I am surprised he still has to pay her alimony though.

    • Tiffany says:

I wonder if this was the plan all along. The role of a lifetime with having to put in the work of raising her children.

  3. Lucy says:

    Teaser looks great! Can’t wait.
Also, just found out about Michelle Dockery’s fiance passing away. He was very young, not even 40. Extremely sad. And on her birthday, on top of it all.

    • Pri says:

Yeah, surprised that didn’t make the “links”.

She was such a good sport, last week during NYC promos, on the talk shows.

    • Norman Bates's Mother says:

Not that it changes much – but her birthday is today and he died 2 days ago. He was just 34. Such a tragedy.

My best friend lost her fiance 2,5 years ago – I can’t find proper words to express how much I feel for anyone in this situation. It was so heartbreaking to be there, watch that enormous pain and not being able to relieve it. I hope Michelle has her family and friends around to support her and that the media and fans will let her grieve in peace.

    • lucy2 says:

That’s very sad about her fiance. I hope she and his loved ones were able to be with him.

  4. Alex says:

I’m so excited for this. As a member of the HP generation this series has grown with me (literally). So I’m excited this looks so good

    • Locke Lamora says:

I am so so so excited. Harry Potter was such a huge part of my childhood, it is what Star Wars is to the older generation.

  5. funcakes says:

More important news….Kelly Rutherford will never be able to bring her kids to the states for a visit. She’s going to implode.

    • Ana A. says:

Wow. That’s really great news. Glad that the judges finally put an end to her antics. Let’s hope that she puts her children first and spents a lot of time in France or Monacco. Even if she hates this dreadful place.

  6. Betti says:

Am excited for this and I must say Eddie wields that wand like a seasoned pro!

  7. Mitchie says:

I always assumed Kelly played this out in the media so she could play herself in the movie of the week. If she cared about her children, we wouldn’t know half the stuff we do. Plus the on call pap strolls she’s done with them. I hope that they can finally breathe and have a normal childhood. No child should go through such destruction.

  8. Lurker says:

Celebitchy please cover Kelly Rutherford! STAT!

    • Juliette says:

I concur. As soon as I heard, I came here to see the CB take on it and to see what my fellow CBers had to say. This is the first place I thought to come, patiently waiting lol.

    • Ollie says:

“The court threw out Giersch’s demand that all money received by Kelly for ‘exposure of her children in the media’ should be paid into a bank account opened in his name, for the children.”

This crazy woman really sold her kids to the paps…

      • Mitchie says:

God, I know what it’s like to have an ex spouse think he’s above the law. He kidnapped my boy, pulled him out of school, and never felt so much pain. I cried continuesly for a month, begging anyone to help me. I finally got help to get him back. I will never forget that pain. You don’t use children too make someone else pay. Love should never be used as a weapon.

    • NUTBALLS says:

Don’t worry, we’ll have something tomorrow. Kelly gets lots of clicks here.

    • TotallyBiased says:

So the DM’s article on it has at LEAST 50 comments (might be more by now) calling Grielsch and the Monaco judge ‘eurotrash’–as in ‘eurotrash will always rule against Americans,’ ‘eurotrash is after her money (???)’
I didn’t know that level of stone-stupid, simplistic racism was so wide-spread these days (and isn’t ‘eurotrash’ SO last century?) then I realized they were all posted BY THE SAME COMMENTER!
Oooo, Kelly, girl–you been BUSY!!! Working off that mad-on, I presume.

  9. Farhi says:

The teaser looks good, though I am surprised they started so early, it is almost a year out. I’ll be watching with the kids anyway, but if it is good it is an extra bonus.
Some of the HP movies ( I think 3 and 4 and 5) were really bad. But this one looks good so far. Eddie is cute.

  10. Caz says:

I love Eddie – even in the Tess remake. Can’t get excited about this movie yet…1 day to Star Wars..woo hoo yee hah.

  11. Tiffany says:

The Oompa Lompa rally in Las Vegas. I am not amused. This is out of hand and needs to end now.
