Khloe Kardashian: ‘In a month & a half, I lost 11 pounds just from not eating dairy’

khloe1

First of all, how Photoshopped is Khloe Kardashian on the cover of New Beauty? Her face… well, that’s close to how her face looks now, but the arms!! They gave her Barbie arms. Those are not her arms at all. Still, Khloe is endlessly talking about her Revenge Body and how she lost weight, and her diet and all of that. It’s become white noise to me, in that I think she’s consistently lying about how “all natural” she is. Between the Pinocchio Butt and the sad-doll face, Khloe is just… different. Unnatural. Made of lies. Whatever you want to call it. Anyway, here are some highlights from New Beauty:

How she lost weight: “I’m obsessed with cheese and milk, but eliminating them from my diet made the biggest difference. In a month and a half, I lost 11 pounds just from not eating dairy, without doing anything else different, and that totally blew my mind.”

Going back to blonde: “The funny thing is that everyone thinks I’m naturally dark because all of my siblings are, but I’m naturally dirty blond. Tracey Cunningham does my color, and little by little my ombré turned into more of a rooted blond, and then it got lighter and lighter. I love how I stand out more as a blond—it makes me feel bright and healthy.”

Her skin imperfections: “I have moles and freckles and they irritate me. They are an insecurity of mine, and I wish I could have clear, beautiful skin. I’ve had people say that I have breakouts on my back when it’s really my moles. Those are things I don’t know how to fix.”

Her beauty inspirations: “I look to my sisters for a lot of inspiration… I also look to Kylie Jenner because I love how she does her makeup—because of her I’m into drawing around my lips.”

[From E! News]

One: if eliminating diary from your diet causes you to lose 11 pounds in a month, you were eating too much dairy in the first place. My God! Maybe that’s just my limited-dairy-diet speaking but how much cheese was Khloe eating before?! That is, if you believe her. I think it’s far more likely she cut out some dairy AND got lipo. As for her blonde… her coloring is a lot lighter than her sisters, which is one of the reasons why everyone has always thought she has a different father. Last thing: I wish I still had my youthful freckles. Sigh… you don’t miss those “imperfections” until they’re gone, Khloe.

Jesus. If her lips could be anymore awkward on her face I’d be surprised. Her head looks huge on her body.

  2. Mandy says:

Lainey blind solved! It all fits the one from a few days back about plastic surgery.

  3. NewWester says:

If photoshop didn’t exist would that mean the Kardashians would go away?

  4. Jules says:

If she let her lips and ass-of-lies deflate, that would be another 11 pounds.

    • Aussie girl says:

Gold!! Very true indeed. Sigh, I just can’t with Khloe anymore. First, she is really showing her familie’s mentality when it comes to their bodies/faces about her moles been something she can’t fix. Also do people really draw lip liner around their lips, because I would feel like a clown.

      • LAK says:

I remember when I was a teen in the 80s, messing around with make up, one of the must-dos for thin lips to appear fuller was to draw lip liner outside your natural line and colour inside the drawn area, like the Ks do, in order to make them appear bigger.

And for the reverse ie to make big lips appear smaller, to draw the lip liner inside your natural line and colour only the inside of the smaller area drawn, and use foundation to cover up the outer edges of the line so that the lips looked thinner.

There was also a trend of using a lip liner several shades darker than your lipstick and not blend the lip liner.

Also, I was obsessed with the cleopatra eye make up of the lead singer Fivestar, and as soon as I was out with friends,i’d re-create the look round my eyes.

And that’s before you got to the big teased hair in which you wrap rags, add fingerless gloves, big gold earrings, leggings, mini skirts, batwing tops (brightly coloured bra showing) and chelsea boots.

Naturally, now that I’m older and wiser, I’m horrified by my teen pics.

I thought Kylie’s make up and hair antics were all good fun until it became clear she was deadly serious. And she wasn’t just stopping at make up to change herself.

      • Aussie girl says:

I have a great visual of 80’s LAK rocking it!!.i was born late 70’s, so was a child of the 80’s and a 90’s teen. I remember the trend for the non blended in darker lip liner. I also had a permed fringe in the late 80’s.

      • isabelle says:

@Lak exactly. The lip lining trick has been around forever, you line inside the lip to thin them down. I liked ordering those kits per month club back in the 90s and late 80s. make up monthly or something like that. they would have little MU instruction cards with all of those fun tricks. Cheap makeup that had every color in the rainbow.

  5. runCMC says:

I believe it. I went vegan a few years ago (total fad diet bandwagon) and lost nearly 20 lbs in a month. The first week I lost more than 5 lbs. as a lifelong yo yo dieter I thought I found the holy grail!! But it wasn’t sustainable for me.

Now I just count calories and exercise and don’t deny myself anything (in moderation). If Khloe doesn’t make her diet something sustainable for a lifetime, I’ll expect she’ll gain it back and spend some years yoyo-ing too.

    • realitycheck says:

Being vegan entails cutting out alot of things, not just dairy. Her dairy claim is definitely exaggerated. So the comparison is not the same because she is not vegan

      • paolanqar says:

and… yet there she is ‘cooking’ cheesacake.

Honestly, who believes the crap coming out of their mouths any more?

      • Mo Cheeks says:

Seriously. These girls are so full of crap. Bitch would kick her grandmother in the mouth for a “got milk” ad campaign.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

That’s what I was wondering. How sustainable is any of this crap? I don’t doubt your body will lose some weight as it’s not getting as many calories and you’re more mindful but who wants to live a life where you can’t pop some milk into your cereal for fear of it all bringing the weight rushing back?

      • Kat says:

You can always use soy, almond, or hazelnut milk. They come in loads of flavours without the cholesterol (or the cruelty ;)). I’m not vegan…I should be, but after being off dairy milk for a few months I couldn’t go back to it without cringing. I say give it a go, there are plenty of options.

      • KB says:

Almond milk is so much better!

      • Becks says:

I cut out dairy and I no longer have bloating and I actually can see my abs now. I had to give up dairy gradually, the last thing to go was my beloved greek yogurt. Sigh. All I know is that I can’t go back, I had a little egg nog at a holiday party and I was paying the price the next day.

      • Jwoolman says:

Becks- you can get Greek style nondairy yoghurt. Also you can make it yourself with any yoghurt maker. You can buy nondairy starter or if you hang looser, use dairy yoghurt. I think to make it thick enough, you might need to add something else – one of the gums? Don’t know, beyond my limited kitchen skill set although I’m tempted to learn. Bet chia seed would stiffen it up easily, you can make pudding with that stuff. Maybe flax seed also. There are recipes on the web.

    • Jwoolman says:

You lost water weight, not fat.

    • Miss M says:

I had to cut dairy and gluten for allergic reasons + I take thyroids meds . So, I lost 15 pounds in two and a half months and , according to my scale scale, I lost 5% fat. No exercise per se (I walk a lot, which keeps me active).

  6. DEB says:

I do not trust a damned thing out of a Kardashian mouth – nothing. Nothing.

  7. Tiffany says:

What ever happened to moderation and exercising regularly. People still do that, right?

  8. CornyBlue says:

All the sisters except maybe Kylie in her original form are so bad looking. Like I do not understand how they shill fashion and beauty products.

    • Santia says:

I thought Kim (the original version) was absolutely stunning. The new version, not so much. And I didn’t think Kylie 1.0 was pretty, either. She was pretty for a hot minute (before she became the new Kim).

  9. FLORC says:

Ugh. Dairy is not a bad thing unless your body reacts to it.

Here’s what i’m thinking. She’s either eating loads of dairy products or she cut out foods she associated with dairy products. Like she didn’t eat oreos because she cut out milk. She skipped cereal and yogurt because of dairy. So there’s that. It’s never just 1 thing without a moderation issue.

Now if she cut out bloats from crash diets and alcohol she would drop weight.

    • Kitten says:

Agreed. Eggs (although I know there’s controversy about whether they are considered “dairy” or not) and Greek yogurt are staples of mine. I could never give them up.

Also, cheese gives me life. I don’t eat it all the time and I use it sparingly but GOD do I love a good cheese.

      • Jordana says:

There’s an ‘are eggs dairy’ controversy??
OK well I guess because eggs are stored next to dairy in most grocery stores, some people get confused…..but dairy is lactation secretions from a mammal…..eggs are from birds…..
Both are incredibly cruel to produce. Cows are forced to be pregnant constantly in order to keep on producing the ‘dairy’. The milk that was intended for a calf is taken away by us to give us dairy. The calf, if male, is put in a veal growth box.if female, it is grown to suffer the same fate as its mother. Chickens lay eggs. Some are hatched to produce more hens to lay eggs. The male chick’s are killed because they are not needed in the industry.
Cruelty is contraversial? But eggs are definitely not dairy !!!

      • Jwoolman says:

Khloe has plenty of money, she can afford all the non-dairy versions of yoghurt, cheese, and ice cream and also a huge variety of non-dairy milks . And there are a lot of really good ones now, not just “health food” types.

I didn’t think I could survive without cheese, either, but it didn’t take long before I no longer missed it. Decades later -there are now really good vegan cheeses based on coconut milk, although they don’t have much nutrition (Follow Your Heart’s line and something called Chao from Field Roast(?), for instance, which taste great straight out of the package). Parma! (blend of ground walnuts, sunflower seeds, and hemp seeds plus nutritional yeast and salt) is great for anyway you would use Parmesan cheese (and I was a real Parmesan freak, bought 5 pound bags of it due to childhood trauma, my mother only bought 3oz canisters so there was never enough) and has good nutrition. There are others with similar combinations. The Purely Decadent line of vegan ice creams (based on soy or coconut milk) lives up to its name. There are loads more to try if you have money and access like Khloe. There are yoghurts based on cashew milk (which is known as a good cream replacement in recipes), coconut milk, almond milk as well as soy milk. Anyway, there is no deprivation today for rich people who can’t eat dairy. Poorer people have to be selective or actually learn how to use a kitchen to make things themselves. Or decide they can wear rags a little longer to get wonderful vegan ice cream….

Oh, did I mention all the wonderfully junky vegan chocolates and chocolate bars and caramel available today also?!? Caramel! Really good caramel! I can live without chocolate. But caramel!!!’ It’s a great century.

      • Zwella Ingrid says:

Right Kitten. I don’t want life without cheese!

      • Lisa says:

I just found out yesterday that I was allergic to eggs. 🙁 Egg whites, but not the yolks. What the fuck. And I love them! No more omelettes for me.

      • Jwoolman says:

Eggs aren’t actually considered dairy, but probably small farms will sell both since they’re likely to have both cows and chickens. I am actually allergic to both and could be arrested for driving under the influence of an egg salad sandwich.

They sell mixes and there are recipes for using mashed tofu as a base for something like scrambled eggs, but that’s too much work for me. However, sometimes I make eggless egg salad with chopped or mashed tofu. Same recipe as for egg salad otherwise, let it set in the fridge for at least an hour to absorb all the flavors. Mashed garbanzo beans also make a good tuna-free tuna salad for some reason. Beans in general are a good replacement for hamburger in recipes also (yes, I’ve used canned beans with Hamburger Helper….).

Follow Your Heart makes an excellent egg-free mayonnaise called Vegenaise. There are other options now. And of course it’s easy to blend tofu as a base for homemade. Blended tofu makes an excellent base for dips that usually call for sour cream, I add a little lemon juice and oil. Several companies now make replacements for sour cream in recipes. Even my carnivorous relatives have scarfed down my tofu-based dips. I just use any junky package to mix into it. Blended tofu can also make real instant pudding…. There are even mixes sold to use for that now, but I’ve just used any dairy-free junky mix I can find.

Anyway, if you ever find that eggs or dairy are a problem, take heart. There are loads of other foods that can give you your fix. You just have to try them and not be discouraged if some are gag-producing. Some companies get all focused on healthiness and forget about taste. But now that it’s not just diehard vegans and allergics looking for such products, a lot of great stuff has appeared on the market.

      • Jwoolman says:

Lisa – I’m allergic to the egg white also, that’s pretty common. It’s the most allergenic part, apparently. Irritating that everybody keeps adding egg whites to commercial products to boost nutrition.

You might browse online at veganessentials and pangeaveg (I think that’s right, or Google for Pangea and vegan) for egg-free ideas. Look also online for recipes with “egg-free” and “eggless” and “no egg” as keywords. Plenty of ideas to try. Vegan is a good keyword when looking for alternatives for items that usually have eggs, since vegans don’t eat eggs or dairy.

One tablespoon of ground flaxseed plus 3 tablespoons of water allegedly makes a good egg substitute in baking. I usually just leave out the eggs for cookies, though, so you can try that also. Depends on how fussy you are about how they look. Ground chia seed also can be used as an egg substitute, probably the same proportions. They fulfill the role of binder.

The house brand of mayonnaise at my local grocery store lists just the yolks, so I’ve used that when out of something egg-free. They call it “salad dressing” for legal reasons, I think. Just read all the labels if you can tolerate the traces of white that creep into such things.

    • DEB says:

Actually, Florc, pasteurized dairy is one of the worst things you can consume. It inflames the body and is full of growth hormones, antibiotics (which work to destroy your immune system). Vegetable sources of calcium are much more readily available to the body and used more efficiently. Bovine proteins in a human body – bad. Small amounts of organic butter is all I consume, and I am healing MS. Dairy was the first thing to go. But I stick by my guns – nothing out of a Kardashian’s mouth is trustworthy. Even more hilarious is Khloe saying in an interview that she’s so honest. She should be doing stand-up comedy, because THAT is hilarious. That’s almost funnier than an 18 year-old getting fat injections into her butt.

      • saras says:

Make yolk omelettes as that is where the nutritional value is anyway: ) Dairy is bad or good depending on your genetics and organic/raw is best. Why on earth these fembots feel they can give anyone advice on looks/diet is insane. All the surgery and beauty teams they all have is obvious and unobtainable to the regulars. And frankly thats good because I would rather be a cute basic than a freak show who will age terribly to a melted wax figurine! Yuk. In 10 years the Kardashians will be monstrous.

      • FLORC says:

I don’t agree. I’ve heard the arguments. And while I prefer to avoid GMO/GH I do have to say there’s no real evidence they’re bad for you on the scale many believe.

Not too long ago Fresh Air did a great piece on this topic.
And shocker! Both sides have well funded lobbys that attack eachother with the same level of aggression and misused facts.

While certain diets for those witth certain illnesses are ideal it doesn’t mean it’s correct for everyone. There isn’t 1 ideal way for all of us to eat because we all have different systems and all require specific items others might not need or can handle.
As part of my job I try to be up to date on much of this. And when there’s no independent and medical consesnsus I can’t jump in with both feet.

      • Paleokifaru says:

Totally agree Florc. Most of my degrees are in biological anthropology and many people conveniently ignore the variations in populations and individuals when it comes to health and diet. Outside of highly processed foods it is not a blanket this food is bad and this is good. People and populations have different body chemistries and genetics for tolerances and intolerances.

      • Jwoolman says:

The idea that dairy calcium is not the best absorbed has been noted by people with problems helped by calcium supplements (including me, but I’m also allergic). Eating lots of cheese didn’t do what the calcium supplements did for my particular problem. If you eat a lot of dairy, maybe you can outrun any absorption problems you might have. But otherwise, it’s good to try supplements that have different forms of calcium, to maximize your chances of getting the right form for you. I have a supplement that has three different forms of calcium.

People with chronic problems that baffle their doctors should always consider the possibility of allergy or intolerance to something they eat regularly, as well as sensitivities to something else in their environment such as artificial fragrances or cleaning chemicals. Dairy is one of the major allergens in certain countries like the USA that eat a lot of it, so it’s one of the things to test by elimination and reintroduction. Won’t kill anybody to go off dairy for a few weeks, and knowing whether or not it’s a problem for you can be quite useful.

I have a friend who is afraid to test for food allergies because she doesn’t want to give up any food. I told her that nobody will put a gun to her head. If she turns out to have an allergy to wheat or dairy or egg, for instance, she can still eat them if she wants. But at least she’ll know the consequences and will be able to decide if it’s worth it. Or she can time her ingestion of the problem food so it doesn’t get in her way – I eat very carefully when under a deadline or other stress, but I know what specific foods might do to me and can decide when it’s safe to eat them. In most cases, I will only react if I’m stupid enough to start eating my allergens all the time… Smaller amounts at intervals can be ok. I know my thresholds. No omelet or egg salad sandwiches for me, if I want to remain functional, but an occasional cookie or a little pasta with a small amount of egg won’t destroy me. (Myself to myself: “That’s ONE cookie, no you don’t have to eat them all before they go stale, you can freeze them….”) Staying away from the offender for a long time initially and being careful about timing and amounts often prevents problems for many allergies and intolerances. As they say- knowledge is power.

      • Zwella Ingrid says:

@Florc, thank you! I agree with you 100%.

      • mp says:

@Florc – thanks for this response! well-worded and I agree that the research backs you up.

@JWoolman – interesting! supplements scare me as they are generally not manufactured with pharmaceutical/medical level of testing and precision except maybe in Germany.

      • FLORC says:

        DEB
I wish you well in your recover from MS. And whatever works for you works.
And my personal stance to a point agrees with you. There are many things we should not ingest added to our foods. And many things we’re told are bad that the science hasn’t supported. It really is in what works for you.

Regarding any food allergies or people that have issues digesting. The exclusion diet is a favorite of mine. Foods are broken down into groups. For 2 or 3 weeks you give up that group and then reintroduce it. If you’ve had a reaction, feel worse, better, make a note of it. Then you can start splitting up the groups into just foods to repeat and see if you can narrow down what gives you issues. Be careful of changing brands too as consistency is key.
It does not replace seeing a medical professional, but can help you understand what makes your body react that way.
I think Jwoolman said about the same. I just wanted to add 🙂

        Kitten
I need cheese to live as well. Yogurt and eggs are staples with cheese in my household. Easy and not unhealthy.

      • Jwoolman says:

MP- just check out the manufacturers for supplements, they aren’t all thieves and charlatans. Shaklee is reliable although pricey – they welcome and pass FDA inspections with flying colors routinely and do considerable research. They’re worth the money if you have any absorption problems and for anything particularly complex. I would also trust Nature’s Way, Schiff, Jarrow’s, NOW Foods (one supplement-watcher referred to NOW as the cheapest of the best and the best of the cheapest). I’m sure there are more. Be especially careful of complex tablets like multimineral/multivitamins or B complex. Those are much trickier to formulate properly for absorption. I’ve also had unpleasant reactions to cheapie brands of supplements. Some things are harder to mess up than others, but you still need to avoid wasting money on the liars and sloppy.

      • Jwoolman says:

Florc – another thing to consider if food elimination/reintroduction doesn’t help is boosting the friendly flora in the intestinal tract. The friendlies push out more pathogenic microbeasties that release stuff causing problems for some people. If excess gas of the painful sort is a symptom, that can suggest unfriendlies getting out of control, including the yeasties (Candida albicans). C. albicans is expected to be there, but there is reason to believe that too high a population can wreak havoc for some folk well below the systemic infection level. That might actually be related to problems with food allergies and environmental sensitivities such as to artificial fragrances. So instead of trying to test for C. albicans and then trying to decide if it’s within the normal range, it can be useful to just do things that are known to cut down on the yeast population and see if you feel significantly better.

But the usual probiotic supplements may not be enough for some people. I would suggest trying really high doses (50 billion to 100 billion of the friendlies of several different species, the capsule is still small) for at least a couple of months. Also enzyme supplements can be useful for the duration – usually they are not needed long term. Other things can go wrong in the stomach, such as too weak stomach acid. That could be tested. Some people suggest apple cider vinegar as a no -prescription approach to boosting digestion – it can be used in capsule form.

A good site for vegans (bordering on TMI) is jacknorrisrd. He’s a registered dietician and has many interesting articles on the site.

      • FLORC says:

        Jwoolman
True. Which is why you can’t just jump in without an understanding of how to go about that process. I agree with what you suggest. I just didn’t want to type out the details.
And 1 major rule. Water water water! Rule of thumb your weight number in pounds. Take that number cut it in half. And whatever that is becomes the ounces you drink. This ofcourse changes with how active you are and other factors.
And! Always consult a professional in the medical professional before messing with your body trying to self diagnose.

Power to you if you could go vegan. I tried. I was dating a nutritionist. I needed meat for my energy, health, and mood. I tried supplements that were too expensive and my body did not accept as an alternative.

    • Jwoolman says:

I am happy to announce that Oreos are accidentally vegan…. No egg, no dairy. Just pure junky sugar! I think they must not use bone char to prepare the sugar, since I’ve heard so many people say it’s vegan. But definitely it’s dairy-free.

      • FLORC says:

This reminded me of a friend. A few years ago she weighed 200+. Is now a healthy 120 for her stature. She was vegan through it all. Vegan very much does not mean healthy! And to balance her diet was difficult if not expensive. or both.

  10. Reine_Didon says:

I watched KUWTK yesterday (yeah just finished exams and needed to relax) and her and Kylie couldn’t be more fake and less attractive. If she was a celebrity no one ever would turn around when she passes. Plus she’s very vulgar.

  11. lisa2 says:

I remember when I liked her. She was the anti Kardashain. But really she wanted the same level of attention Kim was getting. Now she has it.

I think I’ll boycott them too.

    • Petee says:

I watched the show the first year and have never watched it since.Khloe has always been this way.The first thing I noticed was she was a bully and she was vulgar. Now everyone is seeing it.

  12. lizzie says:

if you have certain types of hormonal disorders (which she likely has if her fertility issues were not just fodder for the show) your body can be hugely impacted by diary due to elevated insulin growth factor found in milk and certain types of hormones in milk. i have mild pcos and eliminating diary was the only thing that allowed me to lose weight. before getting rid of it, i only ate one yogurt a day, cheese sparingly (not a fan) and kefir in smoothies. just a small change made a huge difference in my weight, skin and energy.

    • MelissaManifesto says:

I would love to talk to you about pcos. :'(

    • FLORC says:

Best of luck with that! It’s awful so i’m glad it’s mild. Little changes make the difference!
When I get a monthly craving for ramen I always regret it. I’m in realy good shape, but it leaves me almost winded going up the stairs. Although.. I do the double step line backer run on my home stairs. So it’s not like i’m walking.

Anyways, cuting out dairy does improve skin for many. Be well!

  13. Daria Morgendorffer says:

I don’t mean to be crass, but if she really lost 11 lbs. from cutting out dairy, maybe she was constipated. Like Kaiser said, she was obviously gorging on it.

Her concerns over freckles and moles had me rolling my eyes HARD. I mean, really? Poor Khloe, she has moles, not “beautiful clear skin.” These women are so damn sick and twisted. They really want perfection. I’ve seen people actually fighting in Kim’s and Khloe’s Instagram comments defending them and saying that their bodies are real–anyone who believes these women aren’t 99% plastic at this point is delusional. People can say what they want about how this family doesn’t influence young people but the fact that they’re rolling in money shows that they are influential and their bullsh-t has caught on and spread.

I hate to be that person but I find it nauseating that they’re so popular and prevalent in our society. They really don’t stand for anything positive.

    • clarencebeeks says:

Khloecaine and lipo is how she lost weight.

I am with you – and I am disgusted at the influence they have on people. Even grown women believe this family and buy things they endorse. It is mind boggling.

  14. jennifer says:

I believe it. Eliminating all dairy cuts out an awful lot of food. I eliminated dairy while nursing and lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks.

  15. MelissaManifesto says:

Khloe has access to the best cosmetic surgeons, I’m sure she can have her moles removed.

  16. Brighton says:

With all the weight she’s claimed to have lost she should have disappeared by now. If only.

And I have beautiful “clear” skin and a TON of moles. Moles don’t negate having beautiful skin.

    • prissa says:

@Brighton – THIS 1000%!!!!!!! I was just thinking that!!! All this weight loss but she still looks the same to me. And all the “exercise” she supposedly does but her body is extremely untoned!!! In candid pics, I have never seen so much as a hint of muscle definition. Never. Ridiculous Liar, she is.

    • Jordana says:

Thank you! I’m covered in freckles….but my skin is clear. And I have moles. Khloe just needs to shut her giant inflated lips if she can.
Khloe is unlike her sisters….maybe she gets freckles from HER dad’s side.

    • Dara says:

I was SO self-conscious of my freckles and moles when I was younger, to the point where I hated wearing shorts and sleeveless shirts in the summer. I’ve grown to accept them (I’ll probably never love them but whatever), but it took years to get past the desire for the “flawless” skin that all my friends had.

It therefore bugs the hell out of me when I see fashion mags photoshop moles off their celebs and models. Both Gigi Hadid and JLaw are gorgeous girls – and absolutely covered in freckles and moles – but most of the time they get completely wiped away in photos.

  17. Elisabeth says:

I guess she gets that different hair color from her real dad

Yet she still has a doughy jawline and face, in her mind because the circumference of her waist doesn’t reach her fake ass she’s skinny.

  19. Crumpet says:

She lost 11 lbs by eating less. End of story. No food group is the devil unless you are actually allergic to some component of it, which few people are. Even celiacs can eat grains, just not ones that contain gluten.

  20. Jwoolman says:

She might be allergic to dairy. You can love something that is allergenic for you and eat huge gobs of it – then when you eliminate it entirely, it is very common to lose excess weight very fast because the allergy tends to promote water retention. Happened to me, and I was just mostly eating cheese. But I increasingly needed cheese at every meal and actually got withdrawal symptoms (headaches, weakness, lightheaded feeling in my case) if a meal was delayed. (The phenomenon is called allergic addiction for a reason.) All those symptoms vanished within a week or two of cutting out the dairy. If a meal was delayed, I was just hungry at worst. And my weight came down to normal so fast that I knew it was water weight. Khloe has said she started to react to coconut oil (which she was using gobs of every day), so she has a tendency toward developing allergies and intolerances with heavy exposure. Don’t eat gobs of anything, Khloe. Eat different things every day as much as possible.

But why does she think she has to lose weight? She must be well within her normal range except for possibly that artificial derrière and the weight of her makeup. Besides, if she really wants to cut out useless calories, she should just cut out alcohol. That’s high calorie and zero nutrition. People with food allergies often don’t do too well with alcohol.

    • GreenTurtle says:

Interesting- can you expand on what you said about people with allergies not doing well with alcohol? Do you mean they just don’t process it as well?

      • Jwoolman says:

It’s just an observation by allergists, if I ever knew the theory I’ve forgotten it. Maybe allergics are more prone to alcoholism? One allergist said about 10% of the alcoholics he treated lost their craving for alcohol once their food allergies were identified and they started avoiding those foods. He said that typically their favorite drink was derived from their allergenic food. That’s an interesting connection, and definitely allergenic foods can cause cravings for more of the same if it’s something you like. But alcohol is toxic, so maybe it has to do with overloading the body’s detoxifying abilities.

  21. snowflake says:

She is so full of it. I guess she was working into her blog, whatever you call it, that’s why they made such a fuss about her workIng out in Barbados? Trying to show everyone she’s a workout queen. I guess this is what all the lipo and Brazilian butt lift was prep for. Just like her saying she’s worked for two years to get her butt, lol. Kris is a marketing genius.

  22. Frosty says:

I did that once, for a year, but honestly eliminating dairy never did one thing for me. Cutting way down on red meat helped though. Oh, yeh, Khloe – I’m thinking fat cavitation accounts for more of her fat loss than eliminating cheese.

  23. jackie says:

11lbs in 6 weeks is about 900 calories a day less than what she eating before…. sure

    • FLORC says:

It’s entirely possible. Much of that I suspect is water weight. And after cutting out what could have contributed major calories it’s not an outrageous claim. Because it’s a K saying it makes it ring false, but do not assume because of the mouthpiece the information is impossible.

  24. Murphy says:

You know Khloe, lying like this to everyone is really damaging. Now there’s like 3000 girls out there who are going to try this and be sad when it doesn’t work for them when really you’re losing your weight with coke. That’s just false advertising.

  25. Lauren says:

Why did she say she looks to her sisters for makeup tips “and Kylie Jenner”. Isn’t Kylie technically her sister too? Half sister, I know, but I thought that was really weird!

    • Me too, Lauren. I’m always scratching my head when any article about the Kardashian/Jenner twits say “Kylie, sister of Kim Kardashian.” I mean, duh! I guess they feel we need to be reminded on a daily basis how the other sisters obtained their “careers.”

    • PrincessMe says:

That’s exactly what I was going to comment on. I was wondering if I was the only one who found the wording odd.

  26. MediaMaven says:

She sits on an ass of lies.

  27. Nancy says:

Who cares Khloe Kardashian Simpson Odom. The one and only reason you’re on the map is because your sister is a slore and taped it so she could be famous (in in her sad world). I hope 2016 is the year America takes stock in what is real and puts this family in the unemployment line. They do nothing but promote themselves and get richer and richer and more repugnant by the moment. Be gone with all of you. No ill intent just disappear from tv……please God, let it be.

  28. word says:

Ok a while ago Kylie said in an interview that Khloe found out she was allergic to Coconut oil and lost a lot of weight after not using it anymore. Now it’s dairy. What next? Never believe anything out of their mouths…they are known liars. Next you’ll see “dairy free Kardashian milk” for sale. Remember when these girls also said those diet pills made them lose weight? Then it was going to the gym 7 days a week…then it was all due to those waist trainers. Next, they’ll say simply taking 100 selfies a day was what got them to lose the weight.

    • Aubrey says:

      coconut oil? hm.

      • Jwoolman says:

I can believe it- you can taste the coconut in coconut oil, so it’s not just traces. Some people are so sensitive that they can react to the oil made from a source to which they are allergic, so a strict rotation scheme for allergy control rotates oils also. But I don’t think super sensitivity would be needed to react to coconut oil. Hope that never happens to me…. I really love the taste.

  29. me says:

She says she’s “obsessed with cheese and milk” but on their show she only eats salad…never seen her put any dairy in her mouth on that show, not even once.

    • Jwoolman says:

I’m trying to figure out why she made a cheesecake recently for her app, if she’s off dairy. Or was she only temporarily off dairy?

I never really heard of anybody eliminating dairy just for weight loss, although that can be an effect if you happen to be allergic to it. I wonder who advised her to try it and why? Untreated allergies can also result in water retention, which resolves once you stop eating the offender. If you’re overweight, you tend to lose weight. If you’re underweight, you tend to gain weight. So something about the allergies can block the normal weight management our bodies can do.

      • me says:

There are lots of people who claim dairy makes you fat as humans are not supposed to consume dairy passed the age of 2. They are saying it’s linked to obesity, diabetes, and other things. There is some research but who knows really? I have just never seen Khloe eat dairy on her show, yet she claims she was addicted to it…but of course their show is fake. We don’t know what she stuffs her face with when the cameras aren’t rolling.

      • Farhi says:

There are studies that shown that Europeans, mostly Nothern, have adapted and have a gene that allows them to digest milk. Only about 40 percent of people have it, practically no Asians, 25 percent of Africans.

For those who don’t have the gene giving up diary, especially non-fermented could beneficial.

  30. kimbers says:

How much cheese did she eat or starbucks frapps/lattes? Dang.

She looks funny trying to be sexy I feel sorry for her…

  31. serena says:

“I look to my sisters for a lot of inspiration… I also look to Kylie Jenner … ” .. Kylie Jenner? The hell..?

  32. mp says:

I know we joke here, but seriously guys, I cringe at this kind of crap. I see all kinds of people with restrictive eating disorders like Khloe (most are never underweight and have killed their metabolism) and they do what Khloe has done – lose the weight as a teen or adult by cutting out something (dairy, gluten, meat, fat, carbs), and then they are *terrified* to gain it back. They become so convinced that dairy or fat or gluten or meat or carbs are a threat that they think if a tiny molecule of the food passes their lips they will immediately gain X lbs overnight or develop a disease or they can even convince themselves they are having an allergic reaction.

What happened to food as pleasure, food as connection? Food as something you share with family and friends over a special occasion?

Tell a French person they have to give up dairy and they would CRY, to them cheese is sacred.

It seems like everyone has a dietary restriction these days, but if you talk to people who have REAL food allergies (meaning you go to the hospital if you are exposed to the substance, not like your doctor did a test and you came back allergic to 10 things via some bogus naturopathic blood test) I know they are confounded by people who can eat whatever they want and choose to cut out food groups just ’cause.

    • Farhi says:

I second that, French take their cheese just as seriously as their wine. Can someone imagine French giving up wine?

Any food is fine in moderation.

    • Jwoolman says:

Only some allergies are life-threatening. Many just cause annoying or chronic problems and those can indeed interfere with normal functioning. I got to the point where I tried to not eat until my work was done for the day, because I would get so tired after a meal. Turned out my major allergens were precisely what I had started to eat more of, falsely assuming I needed “more protein”. Just because someone hasn’t keeled over and been dragged away in an ambulance doesn’t mean their allergies aren’t real and causing real distress. Allergic reactions can target any organ. Reactions can be delayed, making it especially difficult to track them down.

  33. Renae says: says:

The K Klan always try to attribute any drastic change in them to just one little reason. They don’t ever mention plus I got implants, or lipo, or Botox, or fillers too. My lips grew 3 times normal just by using a liner on them, or my a** tripled in size from doing butt lifts. It’s insane. But, yet there are females that would defend anything they say as gospel truth. They are so beyond the expiration date on their bull.

  34. Aubrey says:

Her face looks like she is constipated in the the first picture, the second one is much better. People can hate on diary all they want but I don’t know what I would do without my probiotics.

  35. me says:

On a side note, did anyone see the Kardashian Kristmas Kard this year? It’s actually cute and the best one they’ve done…it only has the kids in it (minus Saint). Though I do think this has to do with the fact Kim is in hiding and probably didn’t want to do a “pregnant” or “post pregnant” Kristmas Kard this year.

Also, has anyone taken a look at those Kimoji’s? She has a chicken and waffle one. Now tell me how that relates to her? Does she not know what emoji’s are? It’s about conveying emotion in a pic instead of words. She also has a marijuana leaf and sizzurp cup. WTF? I didn’t buy them, just saw them on another site and I’m disgusted by it all.

  36. Farhi says:

Most earthlings can’t digest diary properly except for those of the Northern European stock.
I grew up drinking a liter of milk a day, I can’t imagine a life without diary. Also in northern climates the diary supplies the much needed fat to keep the body warm.
But I can understand how for many people giving up diary could be a good thing especially from those regions which traditionally don’t eat diary products like China.

  37. Amanda says:

I cut out dairy just to see if it would clear up some Phlegm issues (gross, I know) after three months all my clothes were loose and I had lost about 6 pounds, I honestly didn’t think I was a big dairy consumer but I guees it all adds up! Btw-no more phlem!
