It’s been five long years since LeAnn Rimes wrote down specific instructions as to what kind of engagement ring she wanted and handed Eddie Cibrian her credit card so he could fetch the ring. Yes, LeAnn and Eddie celebrated the five-year anniversary of their engagement/proposal. They didn’t end up getting married until April 2011, so their five-year wedding anniversary is coming up, just be prepared for that. Anyway, to celebrate this engagement milestone plus Christmas, Eddie “got” a diamond ring for LeAnn. She posted photos of the ring on her Instagram, because she just couldn’t help herself (I’m including the close-up IG at the end of the post).
For what it’s worth, I do think the ring is pretty. I suspect that LeAnn picked this one out for herself, and she totally paid for it too, I’m guessing. When Eddie is left to his own devices, he picks out some really horrible, ugly rings – remember that ugly ring he “bought” for LeAnn for their first wedding anniversary? This ring is miles above that.

This was a present she clearly bought for HERSELF, probably at a steep discount because she tags the jeweler in her posts for advertisement.

I saw an exchange recently that really showed how enabled she is by those other losers too. She was putting it out there that the Today show asked them to write that theme song. I’ve known a few pathological liars in my life and it’s really amazing how much they believe their own lies at any given time. The story can change on a dime and they genuinely don’t seem to understand that 1)it has changed, 2) they’ve been called out on it 3) that it makes people angry and 4) that they are in any way wrong. Every single version is the absolute and only truth in that minute. What’s especially sad for some is that it’s not meant maliciously, this is not always the case, and they are genuinely surprised when hit in the face with the actual reality that is so far from their narrative. Then it’s spin time again to explain away the”shocking” divorce, etc.

That is the infamous concert LeAnn where she was in the audience and went on stage to sing with Grey. She then returned to her seat only to sing loudly disturbing the people around her including a DJ who went on the radio the next day to report her shenanigans. This is the concert she where she said she was sitting next to Eddie when in reality it was her songwriter.
Leann then went all the way to London (#Lele in London) to perform with David only to hold up production. Someone involved called out LeAnn asking were she was on the internet. LeAnn typed back that she was in traffic, but neglected to call the people that threw her a bone in the first place to tell them she was running late.
We have already established that I am not right where Leann is concerned, because I feel sorry for her. Now I am finding myself worrying about her finances. Like she is going to run out of money soon, then what?

Third engagement ring? The first one with the rose gold, white gold and yellow gold bands for the three “boys” was allegedly thrown at him in London a few years back when he left here there touring. I remember she got another one…huge stone with a four prong (ha…even my 1.5 carat has six, because it’s REAL) gold setting. This is just a way of sticking it to Brandi, as usual. He can buy me this, but he doesn’t have to support his kids….hahaha! Sick bitch.
What I don’t understand is how E and other blogs printed that Eddie bought Leann the massive diamond when within their own article, they quote the jeweler who flat out states that they worked with Leann(no mention of Eddie) on the ring and then tagged Leann and Darrell’s husband, not Eddie.
What is also sad is how these blogs are praising Eddie for buying Leann a massive diamond ring when Eddie hasn’t worked on a film or sitcom since February 2015 and he is paying as little child support as possible. Where is the common sense? If Eddie can afford to buy a massive diamond ring, then couldn’t he afford to pay more in child support? This is how Leann gave an exclusive interview to People and told them how Eddie designed and bought her an 5K, $85,000 engagement ring, but months before that it was revealed that Eddie was trying to lower his child support payments because he didn’t have the money to pay it.
E says that Leann was surprised by Eddie’s gift, but Leann has been tweeting since last year that she was working with Darrell’s husband to redo her bands/ the setting on the ring. It’s interesting how Leann pays these blogs to rewrite history.
Posting photos of rings that Eddie supposedly bought isn’t a new thing for Leann. One Christmas she posted a photo of 3 hands(hers, Lizzy’s, and Elisa’s) and said that their husbands bought them the rings. On Dec 11 2013, Leann tweeted that Eddie bought her a diamond for Christmas, only to go back on the story when she told her fans that she had to redesign the ring because she kept hitting it on the mic.
Eddie proposed to Leann on Christmas Eve? Eddie is said to have proposed to Brandi on New Years Eve, so now Brandi’s story becomes Leann’s story with Eddie “proposing” to Leann on Christmas Eve. How did Eddie propose to Leann on Christmas Eve when Leann, Eddie, her parents, and Eddie’s parents were all papped coming from a jewelry store the day after Christmas? Eddie proposed to Leann without a ring? Or are they saying that a day after proposing, Eddie had to have a jeweler resize the ring because Eddie got Leann’s size wrong?
What is also interesting are the reports I read in Star magazine a few months back that both Eddie and Leann supposedly owe their friends Lizzy and her husband (whos name I forgot) hundreds of thousands of dollars and haven’t paid up. Supposedly the couple loaned L and E the money for their new “mansion” . If that rumor is true, then how is it that “Eddie” can afford such an expensive ring?

The financial side of me would love to know her FICO score to see what kind of credit rating was given to her in order to allow her such a high mortgage amount. I simply cannot understand where she gets all this money from playing casinos, parking lots and county fairs. She has to pay her band and take care of travels expenses. Her debts must be sky high.

I get anxious just thinking about other people’s debt. Out of curiosity are there any reports or acknowledgements that some items are traded in or sold to “upgrade” or change out to others or is this just flat out blowing money and stockpiling stuff? I have a SIL who consistently claims she’s broke but they “upgrade” or change out all the time. I don’t think we’ve ever had a conversation with her or her husband that wasn’t about what they were buying and selling.
The bargain casa may have appreciated enough so they could borrow money against it.
There are people who will repeatedly refinance or take out equity loans to ‘max out’ any appreciation or paydowns. This might be what the SIL in the post above is doing, because you can use the funds for anything (not just renovations or home upkeep).
How they qualified is a good question. Could have been factors other than income that helped, or maybe some loose lending qualifications.
I think that you are right and it is a white topaz. Just for kicks I Googled cushion cut, white topaz, rose gold engagement ring and there were several that looked just like her ring. Even the bands were the same. So basically she “worked” with a jeweller, to create a ring that is all over Pinterest and can be bought at Zales. Nothing wrong with Zales, but the ring isn’t unique at all.

I bought a white topaz band (white gold) a couple of years ago, and it was under 150 dollars.
I saw a similar halo style ring online today for a couple hundred (50 or under, if sterling silver).
My guess is it is white topaz (which is a genuine stone) in a setting of rose gold with tiny diamonds around it and on the band. I can believe a jeweler was involved. She never said the center stone was diamond; people simply jumped to that conclusion.

She’s been called out by food bloggers for posting photos of their food and claiming them as her own recipes and the actuall food she cooked. It’s pathetic.

Funny how she said the boys “loved” that Frito pie so much it was their favorite. Riiiight Leannn, go on thinking that way.
She also posted a picture of a table setting for Father’s Day and she just got back from Whole Foods. People called her out on it as all the items looked already made. Therefore, anything that looks delicious or edible, Leann obviously didn’t create herself.
And yes, I recall the raw looking peppers she posted awhile back. Those were gross as well.
Something just occurred to me. LeAnn is more pathetic than I thought. She not only is the breadwinner, paying for everything, she has to shop for food and cook as well. Notice she’s never claimed that Eddie made her a romantic, delicious meal. Why can’t he learn to cook? He literally has nothing else to do. I mean he does flip the fireplace switch on for her from time to time and I’m sure he puts out if she gets him drunk enough, or buys him a nice present, but other than that,he does nothing. He even sends her for take-out. At least with Brandi, he worked and she played the homemaker role. LeAnn has to work to pay for everything and everyone and still has to try to play Suzie Homemaker, for her lazy schlub of a husband. The rest of her time is spent trying to fake a blissful life on social media. It must be exhausting.
@Deanne–Totally right. I even notice that Eddie doesn’t even take all the bags that need to be carried at airports etc. I’ve seen pictures of Leann hauling all her bags and Eddie walking way ahead of her. It seems as if he doesn’t do anything fro her.
While we are digressing a bit, did anyone see the video of her in an airport, Eddie and Kikki walking way ahead of her and Leann says to Eddie “Hi Babe!!!!” then “Bye Babe!!!!” as he completely ignores her. All the while cameramen and reporters asking lame-A$$ Christmas questions of her. You can tell she is frustrated out of her mind. I wish I could find it and post it here. It is priceless how much he loathes her.
My favorite is when Eddie dropped her off by the curb of the airport and nearly clipped her while tearing out of there.
Then there was the recent incident when she slammed the car door and walked into the office building in a huff and Ed driving off not giving a crap.

The fact is…he hardly ever works. According to IMBd he did three TV shows for this year and this is IT. The average work day is 8-9 hours. In perspective…out of the 8760 hours in one year he might have put in 27 hours of actual paying work…and even THAT is a severe stretch.

I agree, Haley. She has had a pattern of this behavior for so long, she doesn’t think there is anything wrong with it. Her compulsive lying has been totally out of hand for years now. It is extremely important for her to keep up this “I’m America’s Sweetheart, I’m so Happpeeeee, I’m so in loooove with my husband, he is sooooo in love with me, I’m the most special person on earth, look at this ring-he knows that I’m the only one that matters” persona. She’ll buy everything she can in order to keep up this circus act she has going.
What I find disturbing is she NEVER shows actual gifts she buys Eddie to show her loooove for him. Strange thing this woman.
Get ready, people. Something tells me this narcissist is only getting started. She’ll have more shenanigans this year to show us and of course we’ll be still talking about her drama.
Her crazy train hasn’t run out of fuel. It should be interesting when it does.
One more thing I want to add is that Leann is a prime example of the damages stage parents do their young children. Throwing Leann in competitions at the age of 3 or 5 is child abuse. a five year old is so undeveloped and doesn’t have the maturity or mental strength to be thrown in competitive settings and feel that ones worth is equal to wins or losses. Her life was about “winning means you’re better than everyone and losing means you’re not good enough” ( there was no middle ground) probably why she harbors a lot of resentment and unresolved hatred towards her parents. Whom probably caused her personality disorder or whatever it is she’s suffering from that makes her copy people and claim it as her own. Her therapist seems useless as do the people surrounding her who enable her and deny she steals quotes or swf’s brandi
