The holidays do seem to bring out the “warm and fuzzies” in people, and the latest Hollywood couple to declare their love via social media is the (somewhat unlikely) pairing of celebrity tattoo artist and makeup maven, Kat Von D, and Jackass alum, Steve-O.
The two have been dating since November, but their love apparently bloomed over the holiday season. The hints were there, especially after Kat gave Steve a clown makeover on her “Muse of the Week” web series – which was posted on December 18. On December 21, the former stuntman, 41, posted an airplane selfie with Kat to his Twitter account, with the caption “Best decision I made all day…I wasn’t happy with my seat on the airplane, so I climbed into @thekatvond’s.”

After that, Steve-O couldn’t resist drifting into the “TMI zone”, tweeting on December 23, “Kat said the sweetest thing to me today: ‘That’s the first time I’ve seen you pee standing up.’ I pee like a girl. @thekatvond” Ummm…okay… The pair donned their finest “going out” attire for an evening at LA’s legendary Magic Castle

And, in a sweet post on his Instagram account on Christmas Eve, Steve said, “I know it’s crazy that I became a clean and sober, hybrid-driving, animal-rescuing vegan who’s super into meditating, but I’m glad I did. I’m even happier that I get to spend so much time with a shockingly gorgeous and amazingly talented woman who is all of those things, kinda wild like me, and doesn’t give a f–k how many teeth I really have. @thekatvond.” Just yesterday, Steve posted a photo of the couple mid-smooch at Miami’s Coral Castle with the caption “How can I be so lucky?”
But, hey, everyone deserves love, right? Kat has a history of poor dating choices, having past dalliances with Sandra Bullock’s ex and tattooed lady aficionado, Jesse James, and another alleged philanderer, DJ Deadmau5. She does seem like a cool chick and she knows how to put her name behind a killer eyeliner, just saying – someone spent a good part of her Santa-bestowed Sephora gift card on Kat’s cosmetics. I fear Kat still doesn’t know how to pick ’em in the potential soulmate department. Well, if they’re happy, that’s good. I hope they can make it through New Year’s!
They’ve dated before. I know Kat’s ex, and while their marriage was a bad choice on both their parts (she cheated on him), it’s been years and people grow up. I think this is a decent pairing. For all Steve-O’s past ridiculousness, he really seems like a nice man. I wish them luck.

I used to watch Kat way back when she was on ‘Miami Ink,’ with Ami James, before she got her own ink show. I remember how sad and mad I was that Ami let her go (I think it was jealousy mainly, that and Ami could be a dck) – she is proof that the old adage, ‘for every door that closes, one opens,’ is truer than F. LOL. SHE is ruling on many levels now. Incredible business woman.
