This is a special gift to those of you obsessed with Renee Zellweger’s boyfriend, Doyle Bramhall II. Renee and Doyle were photographed arriving at LAX this week, apparently coming home after a lengthy film shoot in London. Renee was working on Bridget Jones’s Baby with Patrick Dempsey and Colin Firth, and People Magazine says the film has wrapped. We still don’t know the identity of said baby though. Was Bramhall with her the whole time? Interesting.
Renee and Bramhall have been together since late 2012, but they’ve known each other since college, where they met at the University of Texas (Austin). They were apparently friendly casual acquaintances for decades, then reconnected in 2012 and they’ve been loved up ever since. This also means they’re close in age – Renee is 46 and Bramhall is 48.
In these photos, Bramhall’s hair seems more “tamed” than we’ve seen before. I can actually see that he’s a decent-looking guy. Not really my type, but he seems low-key and like he’s a good fit for Renee. It’s also worth noting than after everyone focused on her weird face-work in 2013/14, whatever she had done seems to have “settled” a lot this year. She’s almost back to looking like herself, right?

I’m not one of his admirers but I like her and they seem sweet. I do think she looks like herself, and really great. I also didn’t think she looked as dramatically different as others did.

I agree. I think she did get eye work done but I never understood everyone saying she looked unrecognizable. Complexion, hairstyles and yes, eyebrow grooming can alter your looks. I think that’s mainly what was going on there.
I’ll always have a soft spot for Renee and I miss her in movies.

Girlfriend is looking great. Here’s to hoping she’ll appear in more movies, I always thought she was an underrated actress. Looks like her surgery has settled in and she has her old face back, hope she won’t repeat that error!

I agree – she hasn’t gone back to herself yet, but she does look better.
I read a blind that sounds like her…apparently she is planning to have more surgery to regain her unique look.
How they’ll achieve that is beyond me…hope it goes well!

Yes, we all do change as we age, but Renee no doubt had plastic surgery that changed her looks completely.

Well..she has gone from Tester Wind Tunnel Level % to perhaps a Level Two, so that’s an improvement. I liked her previous squinchy face, though. I blame Meg Ryan for this! But, they do seem happy. Good luck kids.

Maybe he was just sleeping on the plane, although I do detect some thinning.
The main thing is they’re happy. I think the fact that they’ve known each other as friends for years lends a very positive foundation to their relationship.
“Bridget Jones’ Baby”? I guess Bridget didn’t end up with Mark Darcy at all. It’s amazing that someone as A list as Colin Firth would appear in this production; on the other hand, he was game enough to appear in “Mamma Mia” (along with Meryl Streep).

At first glance of the title page , I thought that the story was about Laura Dern. I also thought her boyfriend was that awful Slade guy from RHOC ..so I probably just need coffee, ASAP.
Her face does look much better, IMO. I do miss her “old” face but I do see semblance
of her previous self..which there was no hint of right after surgery. So..I guess there’s that. They do seem to have a problem of quitting after just one, though. We will see…

He’s amazing in concert, and that adds to (IMO) his attractiveness. I miss his free hair, but the man bun (if it is one) is ok in a sort of 14th century fighting knights hair style manner. I’m glad for her…she seems happy, content.

Renee deserves happiness. There were so many years where she worked nonstop and was always off on location and this is her time to live life completely and have a true personal life, more settled. It’s odd he dated Sheryl Crow and then Renee grew her hair longer and the same hair color and started tanning and softer lipstick, kind of shades of Sheryl Crow. Although, I don’t think it’s intentional. Just me joking. He and Sheryl must still be friendly since he played on stage with her last year, so no hard feelings after they broke up.

When is this photo of Renee and Doyle? Does anyone know? I have thought also what made her look different was her face was thinner. She’s always had a full face no matter how thin. The thinner face has thrown me before when looking at some of her photos recently. I just chalked it up to maybe losing some of the natural fullness of her face due to the aging process in her 40s, her face not as full.
But here she is with Doyle and her face is fuller. Is this recent or back a few years ago when they first started dating? She looks like the old Renee.
But they are a good-looking couple, and they seem right together.

She definitely had eyelid surgery, but what was so wrong with her face was (I am convinced) brow ptosis from a bad botox job. Her eyebrows were literally sitting on top of her eyes.
At any rate, I am happy for her. She deserves a nice normal (well, except for the hair) guy.
And yes, whatever did happen to Kiddo?

No…..no she does not look like her old self. And it has nothing to do with aging, it has to do w all those awful procedures. She sucked the lemon look right off her face & completely lost that unique quality that made her different. Now, to me anyway, shes just another face in the crowd I’d likely wouldnt recognize & look past.
