While I don’t find Miley Cyrus to be a very sympathetic or likeable celebrity, I do feel sorry for her in one area: the now on-and-off thing with Liam Hemsworth. I think Liam and Miley were really in love at one point, and it was Miley’s first big, adult love. I think Miley fought for their love too, even when Liam was checking out of the relationship, Miley was still trying to make it work somehow. It’s widely believed that Liam cheated on Miley, possibly with a few different women (I believe it). It’s widely believed that when Miley began changing her look/sound/vibe with Bangerz, everything fell apart with Liam. And now it’s widely believed that after two years apart, Liam and Miley are back together, which is what we discussed yesterday. Now sources tell E! News that Miley wants to pick up where they left off.
People were surprised to see that Miley Cyrus and ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth hanging out together again, and if you’re one of those rooting for the pair to get back together, we’re here to tell you—that’s a possibility. The former lovebirds reunited in his native Australia on Sunday, sparking speculation they may be rekindling their romance, two years after they split and ended their engagement. Now, a source exclusively tells E! News that the singer’s feelings for the actor have not changed, and they’re both entertaining the idea of being together.
“Miley came back to LA on Monday after spending the holidays with Liam. She had the time of her life being with him and his family,” the insider tells us. “She feels like they could pick up right where they left off. Miley has never gotten over Liam and always hoped they would get back together. She doesn’t know where it will go, but she definitely still loves him and wants to be with him. Liam has an interest in being back together too.”
A second source tells E! News the two are “back on.”
Another insider told E! News over the weekend that the two were spotted “cuddling and kissing” at the Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay, which they attended with the actor’s family, including brothers Chris Hemsworth, 32, and Luke Hemsworth, 35, and their wives. Another source said the two attended the event with several people and appeared “affectionate” while hanging out backstage in a VIP area, adding, “Liam was seen rubbing Miley’s back at one point.”
The Australian Telegraph newspaper further reported that the pair spent about half an hour in the VIP area drinking with friends and then watched the music festival from a general viewing area. They were protected by security to ensure people did not photograph them. Photos of Miley and Liam’s sister-in-law Elsa Pataky having a good time at the music festival surfaced on social media. Elsa posed for a picture with the Bangerz singer and a few other friends at the festival and shared it via Instagram Monday. “Me encanta la gente con la que me puedo volver loca./ I love people I can be crazy with!!” the Spanish star wrote in the caption.
I’m including Elsa’s Instagram below. Another thing that’s widely believed about Miley and Liam? That Liam’s brothers weren’t fans of the relationship. But Elsa and Miley… maybe that’s evidence that there’s been some thawing in the Hemsworth family towards all things Miley. I don’t know though, I still think Miley is going to end up broken-hearted yet again. I don’t doubt that she wants to pick up where they left off and that she still holds a candle for her first big love. But I also worry that as soon as this is over (and it will totally be over at some point), Miley will once again go a little bit crazy.

This is just so weird to me… she doesn’t even seem like the same person from back when they were dating! I hope he’s not using her :/ It would be nice if this worked out for them and she toned down her hyper-sexuality a bit. I think she’s sweet but pretty vulgar.

In this case, it seems almost the other way around to me. That she heard about the Jlaw hook up stories and she wanted to get back in the mix.

Or JLaw heard about them hooking up again and talked about their “kiss” to turn Miley off. Not out of jealousy but as a friend who doesn’t like Miley? Just speculation. It’s weird that she talked about them kissing and now he’s back with Miley though.
That was my first thought. No matter what crazy things she does, at the heart of it she’s an amazing singer and will make great music that people will listen to (atleast I will, and I think her antics are a bit tiring). Him on the other hand…….what does he have going on after the Hunger Games movies?

Yea but still Miley is more famous than him. When you think of THG you don’t think of Liam first. You think Jen, Josh, Elizabeth, etc. Liam did not get the push from these movies because he was panned (rightly so) consistently.
Miley love or hate her is the more powerful one of the two and yea I think Liam uses her as well. He has movies coming out but will any of them make an impact…probably not. He has the looks thing which is why he gets roles but he has yet to lead a movie that is a success. Independence Day will do well but is that because of Liam? nope.

I think there’s something going on with Miley. She seems like such a different person from before. It’s not even the wanting to distance herself from the Hanna Montana character, something just seems off. Pictures of her from now compared to say 2 years ago, something. I don’t know.
I know what you mean. I chalked it up to being that controlled for so long just sent her into hyper overdrive when the chains came off, but I don’t know. I see her a little bit more like Drew Berrymore. Hopefully she is able to come back when she decides she has tired of living as wildly as she has been.

I’m Indian and I find nothing offensive about them wearing a bindi. Traditionally and religiously speaking a red bindi signifies that a woman is married. A black one is fine for anybody to wear. Please don’t be enraged on my or any other cultures behalf ever.

i used that top picture as my wedding look. i remember going to my stylist and saying, listen – i know this might shock you but what i’m going for for my wedding day is: MILEY CYRUS.
This is the only gossip I am interested in right now. I heard they were lowkey hooking up all through summer.
I kind of feel bad for Miley, because she was still a teen when they got together and as she developed into the person she thinks she is he checked out. I get that she’s not all that likeable but she is true to herself. She likes herself, and as she was blossoming – so to speak – her relationship was withering. I totally know how that is. Perhaps now that she’s more secure in herself (and not leaning on him for confidence perhaps) they’re relationship will thrive.
On Elsa, I’m not all that surprised she would include Miley in her circle. They both are attention … gatherers… so not at all surprised.

I kind of like Miley and her wild child ways. Yeah she can push it a bit sometimes but she’s in her twenties and finding out who she is. God knows what people would have thought of me in my twenties and I didn’t have a quarter of the freedom she has. I always find quite a few comments about Miley tend to have a touch of slut- and drug- shaming about them. So she gets naked, smokes weed and takes MDMA sometimes – is that so awful? At least she seems like a nice, feeling person. I get that she can be misguided (eg re race) and that’s an issue but it doesn’t seem to be the one people often refer to. I don’t really care about the “drug-shaming” (?) but agree with you on the slut-shaming and the rest of your comment. And it’s a shame that people’s main problem with her is not the actual problematic stuff she does, it’s about her not having a more palatable, ladylike image.
BTW also don’t like the idea that LH is somehow better than Miley. Who knows what he gets up to privately and he was the one who seemed disloyal/unfaithful. Right going to get off my Miley soapbox now 😉

Riiiggghhhhhhhtttttt. Until she needs another hit song at is expense. That whole thing was so totally staged and she wanted him to play along, but he wasn’t having it. I am totally shocked he is hooking back up with her, but it is his ship to sink!
