Here are some photos from the annual pre-Globes Art of Elysium gala, an event which honored British designer Vivienne Westwood this year. Which means several ladies were chosen to show off Westwood’s designs, to mixed results. I actually like Westwood’s signature designs – often involving a built-in corset/bustier – but the execution can be hit or miss.
So, Amber Heard was one of the women wearing Westwood at the Elysium gala. It was red and boring. Would I have enjoyed this on someone else? Perhaps. But Amber is, as I’ve said before, an utter charisma vacuum. Beautiful and insubstantial. Plus, I’m tired of seeing her hair down and she needs to run a brush through it. I realize she’s trying to do the high-fashion “teased and matted” look, but it just looks like a rat’s nest. As for Johnny Depp… he looked half in the bag, per usual. But it does seem like he’s made an effort to de-bloat. Did he go on a diet? Also: HIS HAIR.
Camilla Belle in Carolina Herrera. I actually think the skirt is beautiful, and if she was wearing a gown made out of the skirt material, it might be one of my favorite looks. But the top is tragic. It’s really, really bad.
Minka Kelly in Monique Lhuillier. I don’t get this. This is a totally boring and dated gown which looks like a prom dress. Why? Why choose this?
Ed Westwick is everything to me. I love him.

Ed always gives me the crfeeps but here it I kind of looks like he visited Eddie Redmayne’s closet for this one. Same sense of humour or at least, the same look-at-me attitude.

I think they already are that couple that last a lot more than the people expect them…when the rumors about them started, most of us (people) seemed to believe it was just an affair that would burn out soon. Then that they would never make it official. When they make it official that they will never last more than a few months. After when they got engaged, that they would never make it down the aisle. When they got married that they would divorce in a few months and etc, etc. I’m surprised already as far as they’ll go

You may be right BUT Depp’s usual relationship shelf life is 4 years. The marriage may gain her a few extra but without kids, I don’t think they’ll out last he and Paradis. So let’s see if she puts baby ahead of her suffocating career!
Minka Kelly’s dress looks about 5 years old.
Amber’s dress–my bridesmaids wore almost that exact dress in 1978 in another color. The cowl neck, fitted waist. I have to say it looked classic and simple back then and still does now.

@Minx I agree about Minka’s dress but think the hair really added to it looking dated. With better styling and some accessories (which she could have worn since she wasn’t showcasing a Westwood!) it could have been a basic dress that was a backdrop for major jewelry.
Johnny Depp is working that Pacino hair. .. He always looks like he’s in need of a shower

I don’t think he lose the bloat fast. I think the “bloat” is more a bad hair and ill fitted clothes, like his tux in the Palm Spring Festival the past weekend
Already at the People’s Choice Awards he looked fine and slimmer and that was wednesday, impossible to lose weight so fast. He only had good fitted clothes, just like in this event and a nicer hairstyle
You can lose up to 10 pounds overnight from certain prescription tablets which are designed to get rid of excess fluid retention. Stuff like Lasix, and the like. Could be that.
He has definitely lost a LOT of bloat in a very short period, so I suspect something like that was what he used.

Same top.. and material. Just a different color. They really do look the same. Could be from the same collection

I think Johnny and Amber look great here. Johnny looks so much healthier in these pictures, thank god, he does not look like he is at death’s door now. I especially like that his hair style does not have the large ugly strand hanging in front of his face which he usually does. Amber is gorgeous as usual and they look happy together. I vote for happy, healthy and in love everyday.

Amber’s mall hair always makes me sad. And too much bronzer/blusher here? I don’t know. I think she’s absolutely beautiful but in a forgettable, pick this white blonde actress out of a lineup way, and her styling never seems to do more to help her stand out.

From other photos and the videos of these two, Amber was the one wasted and Johnny was holding her up and leading her along! She seriously could not focus on the red carpet. Me thinks she can keep up with the Deppster in whatever he’s indulging in! Or maybe that’s just what happens when Amber over acts for the cameras… Or is she on the final stage or morphing into Johnny?? And there are only a few shots of them inside, it’s not as hot and heavy as some make it sound. I mean, for them, sure it’s like “holly shit they almost made eye contact!” LOL

I have to say, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been RELENTLESS with their self-promotion as a couple these past few months. Or with the reviving of the Depp brand. Or with force-feeding us Amber Heard as a legitimate star. Or with whatever it is they are trying to convince us of. They sure have incredible stamina, and I feel that I am almost worn down, not able to put up any resistance anymore…
NO! Do not give in to the darkness! LOL And yes, relentless. Who would’ve thought Johnny Depp would go all fame whore in your face on every red carpet? Damn Depp, we liked you because you were aloof….now aloof off PLEASE!

Gonna be a contrarian. Amber’s make up is flawless and normally is so I don’t care so much about the boring hair and at least the dress fits mostly and isn’t terrible if not exciting.
Johnny looks decent here. I think he has hair plugs tho.
I swear, if you lined up every photo of Johnny from the past 6 months, you’d see the rotting/discoloration of his front teeth in a time lapse. I hope he decides to take care of himself, but I’m kind of resigned to his downward progression 🙁
