Here are some catch-up photos from the Golden Globes parties on Sunday night. Can I just say? When the Oscars roll around, I understand why people might want to change out of their Oscar gowns and put on something lighter and more party-ready. I especially understand that for people who are the nominees. What I don’t understand is showing up to the Golden Globes just to present and be a Fashion Girl, then changing into a different frock just for the parties. It seems like a waste of time and effort. But whatever, Jennifer Lopez does it every year. If you remember, I really disliked Jennifer’s mustard Giambattista Valli gown, but I enjoy this Roland Mouret party dress. Surely if she just came to the Globes to present, she could have just worn this, right? This is a fantastic, clean, beautiful gown.
Emilia Clarke in Dolce & Gabbana. Well, it’s better than the goth gown she wore to the Globes. I think I would like this more if the fabric didn’t look dirty. Like, either commit to beige or go with white. This in-between stage looks cheap.
Here’s another example of a party dress being so much more awesome than the red carpet dress, and I’m saying that as someone who enjoyed Laverne Cox’s somewhat matronly Globes look. But this custom Mark Zunino gown is THE BUSINESS.
It looks like the Botox Fairy was working overtime for Globes weekend. Here’s a barely recognizable Kaley Cuoco in red Christian Siriano. She’s trying to do the Jolie Leg of Doom!
Kate Bosworth looks like a creepy doll that came to life in a horror movie. Her look here is Dolce & Gabbana.
Here’s Harvey Weinstein and his wife Georgina Chapman. She’s wearing one of her own Marchesa designs. Do you ever wonder if Harvey thinks her designs are terrible too?
People were debating the level of Taraji P. Henson’s drunkeness at the Globes. I really feel like… by the time she won, most people in the room were half in the bag, so it didn’t really matter. My guess is that she continued to party her ass off at the post-Globes parties too. Taraji changed out of her bridal Stella McCartney gown and into this lingerie-inspired Stella gown. I actually like this one a little bit more? The fit is better.

I like Kate’s outfit too but I wish her makeup and hair was different. That slicked-back do is so harsh, even on someone with a beautiful face.
I had to do a double take with Kate – she looks so much like Nicole Kidman. Isn’t her metamorphosis complete?
Girl looks classy for once in her career! Love the subdued makeup with red lips. Adore both gowns. Who is styling her? And may I say, that is what a real butt looks like. She was doing it way before the awful K’s imitated her.

I love Kaley (sadly) I think she’s really pretty and she seems fun. That said, he face looks the same, she just…can’t smile right.
And she’s young – she could easily just look nice because she has youth on her side, and regular facials.
I don’t see it either. Only change I see is longer hair and nude lipstick.
It seems more like spray tan and contouring although the closeup in the daily mail seems like she might have done something. Wouldn’t be a shock if she did, she has had plastic surgery on her face before

I love Kaley’s dress and look – she looks really pretty and sexy. Great dress on her. JLO and Laverne – love their dresses. Love Taraji’s lingerie dress and yes, she looks smashed lol. Kate Bosworth is like a creepy marionette.

Love the clean white dress on JLo, but something looked off about her makeup all night. I don’t know if it’s just that I’m used to seeing her in 50 Shades of Smokey Eye, or if she needed a rosier color in her cheeks instead of that nude-ish bronzer, or if she’s super ‘toxed up. But there’s something.
Agree, SHAMBLES. I thought it was just the fact that she IS getting old, although overall she looks fabulous. Also that hard “sexy face” is SO TIRESOME.
I’m with you, Shambles. Her makeup was off and I think with her lighter hair color, she ended up looking kind of oddly washed out (even with the dark lip). And she looks super, face-doesn’t-move-at-all ‘toxed.
But this dress and styling was so much better than the mustard one.
If the header hadn’t said JLow, I would never have guessed it was her.

I was watching her show last week. She does the sexy face so often, it is stuck there. I mean she was even sexy scared.
I agree-too much filler or botox or something. But she definitely looks different. I do love this dress though.
I agree with all the comments. It’s hard-frozen sexy-face nowadays. And is it just me, makeup, or are her eyes smaller these days? I’ve noticed the eye-shrink with so many celebrities who get a lot of Botox and/or fillers.
I keep staring at her eyebrows, they look washed out?
I was so thrilled to see her in something slightly different than what she always wears that I didn’t even notice her face, but now that you mention it, she does look tired or something.
Jlos dress might be nice in itself, but she looks ten times better in warm colors than cool. Same with the silver accessories and earrings. The only thing those visually connect with is the highlights or oily skin whatever and the too gray eye brows.
Oh Emilia.. why such a beautiful woman cannot find a good dress is beyond me. That kinda lenght on short people is awful, it makes you seems even shorter. More than the colours, either go long or short.
JLO was the best dressed of the Globes to me and her after party dress is equally as nice. SO refreshing to not see sequins, sheer, and t*ts hanging out.

I’ve never understood why gowns are worn at the Globes period. To me, the only high profile event to wear a gown are the BAFTA’s and the Oscars. All other award shows, dresses like these should work just fine.

J.Lo and Laverne look f*cking gorgeous, I love a good white dress. Especially J.Lo’s sleeves. I do like Kaley’s dress, it’s pretty but the slit is not necessary. Kate Bosworth … oh, Kate. I love your wacky self and that outfit is awesome. But her head … the hair color alone is a crime. Not even her bone structure can overcome this.

That dress looks so, so pretty on her. I usually think she’s a little “show girl” but I love her in this more classic gown. Her body is just out of this world, too, you’re right. Did you see the picture of her a magazine cover, think last week, in a bikini from the back? Climbing out of the pool? Just breathtaking.
Yes I agree. She’s VERY showgirl. Not as bad as Mariah Carey but more along the lines of Toni Braxton at times. But I rarely look at her styling because I can’t get over that body 😩 I didn’t see that pic but I’m off too Google to find it!

I agree that this is one of the best dresses ever on Jennifer. And because she is so sexy, she looks much better in an elegant dress, not showing too much skin. The funny thing to me here though, is that Casper’s teeth are as white as JLo’s dress. Blindingly white.

Kaley Cuoco is wearing the exact same dress Kim K wore a year (or so) ago. I don’t know why anyone would want to repeat something KK showed her a$$ in !!
The dress looks like a one piece jumper cut down the middle. Don’t know how I feel about the dress, but my goal in life is to have that body when I’m 46(?). I don’t like whatever it is that she’s doing to her face.

Love Laverne’s dress. J Los isn’t bad. And I’m a Seriano fan so like the dress but think Kaley is just way over made up or over fake baked. I hate myself for adding this since most of the male actors on this site have wives or girlfriends at least 18 years younger, but…God help me if I didn’t know better I’d think J Lo was posing with her snarky son. I’m all for women having it all but there has to be better choices out there for her!
When I saw her in this white dress, I was like “wow” in my head. Gorgeous and classic.
I give her a ten. But darker hair and less fake tan and she would have been a 12.
