A 24 year-old Russian pop singer named Oksana Pochepa has come forward claiming that she’s the woman named Oksana who Mel Gibson is rumored to be having an affair with. The only problem is, she looks nothing like the woman photographed out with Mel on two occasions (shown above) and is most likely just some random “Oksana” using this incident for publicity:
Sexy OKSANA POCHEPA, 24, says she has fallen for the 53-year-old actor and hopes their love is “strong and long-lasting”.
She revealed she was the woman snapped frolicking in the surf with Mel earlier this year.
The photos sparked a storm of speculation about Mel’s 28-year marriage.
On Monday, just weeks after they were published, the movie legend’s wife ROBYN GIBSON, 52, filed for divorce.
Smitten Oksana, who first hit the Russian charts aged 13, said yesterday: “This is serious and I hope that our union will be real and strong and long-lasting.
“We are different people, but Mel is a grown man and knows precisely what he wants and me too — I know what I want.”
The singer, who is also a model, claimed to have visited Mel on the set of a movie in Boston last summer. But she added the two were not yet ready to go public with details of their love. She said: “I would not like to say more right now.”
The stunning blonde was speaking out after Hollywood insiders this week blamed Mrs Gibson’s divorce suit on “a Russian musician called Oksana”.
Some reports had suggested the musician referred to was Russian classical pianist Oksana Kolesnikova.

But married Kolesnikova, 31, last night angrily denied being linked to the star.
She said: “I have no idea how this mistake has been made. I feel very upset.
“The only explanation is that the names Oksana have been confused. It is a very popular name in Russia.”
Meanwhile, some sources in the US yesterday claimed that more than one woman could be involved in Mel’s romantic riddle.
They noted the girl he was often snapped with on set in Boston last year does not look like Oksana.
Others claimed the Russian beauty has never been involved with Mel at all.

The other Oksana, Oksana Kolesnikova, doesn’t look like the woman photographed with him on set, either. I looked at google image searches of both Oksanas, and while the older piano-playing Oksana is slightly closer-looking to the woman photographed on set with Mel, she has blue eyes and blonde hair while the rumored mistress named Oksana has brown eyes and is a brunette. This young pop singer who is all too willing to claim that she’s getting it on with Mel looks nothing like the woman seen on set with him.
Yesterday we heard that Mel Gibson’s billion dollar divorce may end up providing his wife of 28 years with the one of the biggest settlements in Hollywood history. That enough to encourage anyone to come out of the woodwork claiming some connection to Mel that isn’t there. “Oksana” might not be a piano player or this young singer, but someone is going to dig up more on her as this divorce proceeds and then we’ll learn how she went from obscurity to being the other woman in Mel Gibson’s divorce. I wonder if Mel will think she was worth half a billion bucks when this is all through.

Has she not paid attention to Mel’s history? I’m sure his wife also thought their union would be “real and strong and long-lasting” you know until the drinking and the cheating started.
I’m glad she is divorcing this egomaniac and I love the fact that she will get half his assets, she deserves more for putting up with ridiculous antics for so long. Seriously, they were married for longer than this chick has been alive.

I read an interesting magazine article once advising women on how to marry a very rich man. Their conclusion: you didn’t have to be beautiful or particularly charming, but you did have to have lots of free time, and be available to do whatever he felt like doing – golfing, drinking, balloon riding, etc. The theme of the article was that wealthy men often had a lot of energy and a lot of varied (non-sexual) interests, and craved a cheerful, enthusiastic companion outside of bed as well as within it.
A Russian pop singer probably wouldn’t have the time or inclination to go wherever Mel wants to go and do whatever Mel wants to do. My guess is that the real Oksana is a pleasant, pretty no-name, a lot like Nic Cage’s sushi waitress or Ron Wood’s cocktail waitress.
Nothing against waitresses, having been one myself, but it’s a job that’s pretty easy to give up if Mr. Moneybags comes along.

Look at Mel..he lost his looks thru all the boozing. His wife looks miserable and I dont blame her. 28 years with Mel will take away everything.
