I was just thinking to myself the other day, “It’s been a really long time since the Hogans did anything terrible for me to yell at them about.” Normally they only go a week or two, max. But aside from Nick being allowed to drive again (I hope you’re all wearing helmets, Floridians), the bleach-loving family has been pretty quiet lately.
Well, except for Hulk and Linda’s incredibly acrimonious divorce. Just in case you thought these two had toned it down a bit – or you bought into the idea that Linda’s the bigger douche – Hulk says that this whole legal process has made him empathize with O.J. Simpson. And he could have gone the same route.
HULK Hogan is sounding homicidal over the way his wife Linda dumped him, forced him out of his $18 million mansion, allegedly started spending his money at the rate of $40,000 a month and dating “some shaggy-haired pool boy 30 years her junior,” Rolling Stone reports. “I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody’s throat,” he told the magazine.
“You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can’t go to anymore, you’re driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife . . . I totally understand OJ. I get it.”
He and Linda are battling it out in a Florida divorce court, where Linda’s attorney claims she’s entitled to use the car and that Hogan’s claims against her are merely an attempt to control her love life.

Hulk has gotten slightly better press than Linda, mostly because she’s dating aforementioned 19-year-old, who’s a friend of Nick’s. Obviously neither of her children are fans of the match either. And as creepy as she is, Linda doesn’t talk to the press as much as Hulk does, so we’ve heard more of his side.
Now it’s clear his side is absolutely insane. I’m sure Linda will be getting a nice little order of protection now. What a dangerous, stupid thing for Hulk to say. We’ve all known anger and rage, but to say you “could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody’s throat,” is just beyond the pale. I doubt he had any public sympathy before, but Hulk just screwed himself out of whatever good will there was. He’s a big guy, too, and obviously strong. Acknowledging that he poses a massive threat to his soon-to-be ex-wife was incredibly foolish – and scary. Never do I want to hope for the best for the Hogans, but I hope Linda gets some security. And makes Hulk pay for it.

I completely disagree. You have no idea what he’s going through, and it sounds like it’s pretty painful. Everybody gets angry thoughts, I can’t imagine how I’d feel if someone I’ve been with for many years was suddenly so insensitive and threw me out! I don’t think what he’s thinking is anything unexpected, just a matter of whether or not he acts on it. Not everybody thinks rationally all the time like you, Celebitchy.

Although she’s dating a 19 yr old, wasn’t the Hulkster also dating a friend of Brooke’s? There’s no moral high ground anywhere in that family. It’s really creepy that they both immediately moved on to dating friends of their children…

His statements are truly frightening…What an idiot. His law team must be reeling from this. I wonder how much money that ignorant statement will end up costing him. I also believe that there might be legal ramifications from an implied threat law…any lawyer’s reading this know about that? BUT may I also just add that OJ kicked his wife out and kept the mansion for himself…Nicole lived in a small townhouse. Not the same thing.

I was going to say someone on this site will defend Hogan, but as I read the comments I see that someone already did. Yeah, stupid thoughts go through everyone’s head and the point is not to act on them, but it’s also important not to say every stupid thing that passes through your head. Because that can be viewed as a threat and frighten people (his intention?) I so hate this whole family, but especially him and his killer son.

I’m NOT defending Hogan, so no one needs to jump down my throat here…… but Linda Hogan is robbing that dude blind, so don’t say that he is just jealous because his ex has a life after their marriage. Linda is old and ugly and he just wants her to stop stealing from him.

For some reason I can’t help but wonder if him even saying that elevates the level of risk for his nasty wife. Wow. Everyone has no sense of humor. Or maybe after dating a cop for so long, I have a morbid sense of humor. I thought that statement was hilarious. If your wife was banging a 19 year old and decided to divorce you for him, I think you’d try to look at the situation with humor too as anything else would throw you into a depression.
Give the guy a break. He’s just using his coping mechanism. All his career work has gone to shit and gone to her. I think that gives him a little bit of a right to be pissed. Any normal person would be.

Danielle, In what world is this funny? And if his coping mechanism is fantasizing about cutting everyone’s throat and announcing it to the world, I’m sorry, honey, but that’s not coping, BIG TIME. Also, JayBird, Nicole Brown deserves to be called that maniac’s ex-wife, not wife, because she did divorce him finally. She never did escape him, but she tried to, and I think that point needs to be addressed in your title.

Also, Danielle, Linda Hogan started dating the boy after she was separated. Hogan admittedly slept with his daughter’s friend during the marriage and before the separation. But I guess, as a true narcissist, that doesn’t matter to him.

Wow. Not funny. At all. Quite dumb too, because her lawyers will get a lot of use out of that statement as being representative of his character.

OXA, Lorena Bobbitt beats her mom up. BTW, it’s my belief that Ron Lyle Goldman not Nicole was the intended victim & this double murder was done by the Underworld. I didn’t believe the prosecutor’s theory & considering that there are no known eyewitnesses to this double murder, I don’t understand how you can rule out the possiblity of Ron being the intended victim, because only the killers know why they did it.
