Everything about Kaley Cuoco was like nails on a chalkboard at the SAGs last night. Has she always been this annoying? Real question. Kaley wore this Romona Keveza “illusion” gown, with the illusion that we’re seeing more skin, I guess. I don’t have a wild hate-on for the dress, I just think it’s boring. I do have a wild hate-on for the styling though. Topknots were the trend at the SAGs and Kaley had the worst one. It was pulled too tight, giving her a Croydon facelift. Also: CB was aghast about Kaley’s terrible brow situation.
Ariel Winter also wore Romona Keveza. I feel like this would have been better on someone a bit older (Ariel just turned 18 a few days ago), but I’m giving her a pass. It’s simple and flattering. She’s probably still getting used to styling her new figure too, following her well-publicized breast reduction last year – I suspect she chose this dress because she’s never had the option (before now) of going strapless.
Sarah Hyland in J. Mendel. This dress looked a lot cuter on the E! live show, it’s pretty flat and blah in these photos. Hyland’s the kind of person who can elevate a boring look with her personality – she’s very bubbly and sweet and she was charming on the E! carpet. She even created a new word: Joleg! The Jolie Leg = Joleg.

Glad I’m not the only one who hates her brows. I’m a firm believer in brows making or breaking how your face looks. Mariah Carey is another one who’s brows are just awful. Hard to believe these women can’t find someone who actually knows how to shape eyebrows. Oh well…

I’m on the opposite end of that spectrum – I can’t generally stand her. I think it’s the constant snotty looking lip pursing and the fact that she’s soooo insanely overpaid for her BBT role, and yet still manages to look kind of tacky most of the time.

Goldie Hawn wore the exact same hair knot in the 1987 film “Overboard” where she played a snotty, rich socialite. In fact, this is the exact makeup style she wore with the off-center hair knot as well.

Is the raccoon eye shadow under her eyebrows the problem? She is styled into ’80’s Star Trek territory. She could be helped so much by the right make up artist and stylist.
I kind of see what people are saying, but as someone who has one eyebrow naturally more arched than the other, I struggle to make them match. And then I think ‘meh. That is how they are naturally, I really don’t care.’ Of course, I don’t have oodles of money to have them professionally done either.

Yes, that’s what I think, too. She needed a softer style from the neck up. Her eye makeup is too harsh and the pullback of the hair do is way too much. If she had gone for something bold jewelry-wise and a softer look around her face, she’d have been just fine. I actually love that dress on her.
Her interview with her stylist was cringe worthy. And I was shocked that her stylist could keep a straight face while kaley kept asking if she did good. No honey – and he knew it.

Cuoco’s topknot is the way you style your hair for house cleaning not for an award show. Then the dress is the classic “look at how great my body is” post-divorce (or divorcing) look.
Ariel Winter on the other hand looks very nice and mature. I love her dress, makeup and hair.
She works her butt off for that body. I’d want to show it off too! I think the dress is just ok but that topknot does nothing for her. She’s never had any style sense, though.
Ariel Winter would have looked better with a brighter coloured lipstick. Really like the fit if the top part of the gown.
I think Ariel looked great head on. But if you see a side view, especially when she has her arm angled out, you see half of her boob. I think the dress needed to either be a scootch wider under the arm area, or pulled up a bit more.

She’s young (just 18), only recently comfortable in her body and wants to look sexy. I think it’s a beautiful dress and she looks great! I do agree that a bright lip would have topped off her look.
I can live with Kaley’s gown, but those shoes are terrible. If you’re going to do a slit find better shoes that fit. She’s got the money, buy a pair of her own if the sample sizes aren’t correct.

Yeah I thought it was until I read the comments. I actually think the dress is perfect for her. She actually has less common proportions…on the show TBBT she often looks top heavy (triangular) whereas in this dress she looks flawless. So I think this was the right dress…it might be basic but it flatters her which is most important in my opinion.
I also don’t think her brows are as bad as everyone is saying. I actually think she looks good here or at least one of the better looks I’ve seen on her.

Kaley as always been annoying and very try hard and i hate that pout she does, it makes her look like she’s a 12 year old girl practising a sexy pout in the bathroom mirror. Kaley’s styling is always terrible. Her makeup, her hair, her brows. She just has one of those looks that no matter what she wears, looks tacky and budget. I think she’s a perfect candidate to go dark hair, which could allow for some different makeup looks and pull her out of this awful style.

Sarah is effortlessly funny. Kaley is an effort to be something she’s not. Glamorous and/or sexy. She looked out of place in the Friends pic last week, like ooh here I am, look at me. Will be happy when that show disappears and she does too. However, Jim Parsons needs to find another tv gig, bc he is everything. Funny and genuine, unlike his costar.
ITA re: Jim Parsons. Out of all the cast he’s the one who is going to go places after the show. I really wanted to see his show ‘An Act of God’ that was on Broadway last year, i live in hope it will come to the UK.

Me too and i haven’t plucked them in YEARS> I just subtly shade them to reduce the look of it. One of the reasons I don’t leave the house without shading them in. Apparently people are quite judgy about this. Sad I feel I can’t leave the house without foundation, powder, concealer (otherwise I get asked constantly if I’m tired because dark eye circles), Blush (or I get “You look pale today” comments constantly) and brows.
Society really polices women to conform and wear make up. Both men and women participate.

Her brows arent’ even symmetrical. One is higher than the other and one has more of a pointed arch than the other. I think two different people did them – one did the left and a different person did the right one. Her eye makeup is hideous.
