Seriously, escalator death/injury is one of my biggest fears. If stairs aren’t an option & it isn’t broken (in other words, “temporarily stairs; sorry for the convenience), I turn into Buddy the Elf and step on/off without getting near the edge. Those teeth!!! Even in shorts and closed-toe/laceless shoes, I’m always always terrified.
