Kanye West tweets ‘Bill Cosby Innocent’ because he’s absolutely an idiot

FFN_STOIANOV_WEST_K_129016_51959150

Kanye West was tweeting nonsense for a full 24 hours yesterday. Everyone thought it was cute… until it wasn’t. In the midst of promoting his new album and his latest show at New York Fashion Week, Kanye tweeted this:

Nope. JUST NO. Caps-lock doesn’t make this any funnier or cuter or anything. The problem is that too many people – men and women – refuse to believe the mountain of evidence before them about Bill Cosby. The problem is that people still don’t believe it even when more than fifty women coming forward to say that Cosby has been abusing and raping women for decades. Poorly played, Yeezy.

Kanye was actually getting decent press earlier in the day on Tuesday because he caused a flurry of speculation about yet another name change for his album. He tweeted this:

And people were obsessed with trying to figure out what TLOP stood for. Why does Kanye keep changing the album name? Go with your first instinct, Kanye, and just call the album SWISH. Swish is better than Waves and TLOP.

Also, Kanye tweeted this which… genuinely made me laugh. I’m assuming he was making arrangements for the celebrity guests at his NYFW show. There’s something about “Please invite Farrakhan and Twigs” that is just… perfect.

I think he has a mental disorder and should be on meds. He’s too erratic. He needs professional help…like stat!

    • Josefina says:

Eh, I dont think hes crazy. He’s just an idiot who relieves he’s a genius. The worst type of idiot there is.He just needs to grow up.

      • Petee says:

I still think he is a druggie.Coke or speed that would explain his erratic behavior or he really is out of mind or has some sort of behavior disorder. There was nothing “cute” about his posts up till the Cosby thing. He is just a ass.And I beg to differ with him,he is not this great genius that he claims to be.What a horrible little man.

      • Josefina says:

        @Petee
I dont think he’s erratic like Shia Lebouf or Amanda Bynes. You dont have to be crazy to tweet Cosby’s innocent or insult someone’s kid. Just being a tremendous douche covers that.

Kanye’s just a spoiled kid surrounded by waaay too many “yes” people.

      • Pandy says:

Agree Josefina. A fool with a public platform!

      • Carol says:

@josefina you hit it right on the nose. The guy is a fool and he don’t know it.

    • C says:

      Agree! He’s mentally ill.

    • Sam says:

A year or so ago I wondered to myself if he might be on the autism spectrum, later when I met someone who worked briefly with him, I asked for their thoughts and they agreed that this fit with what they had experienced.

Which is not to excuse his behaviour, right now I suspect he just wants attention for his album release and is just making reckless announcements for attention.

      • Naya says:

I hadnt thought of the autism spectrum. I mean it would fit some of his behavior and his mum did claim he was a child savant or some thing. I was thinking maybe just severe ADHD coz he does have impulsivety issues and also he has that hyper focus thing locked down sometimes. Or a mild Bipolar coz honestly it does feel like he is over active maybe manic right now.

Or maybe my armchair psychology is wrong and he is just a douche who contains it for afew months then goes on a month long douche rampage.

      • K2 says:

Obviously people with autism differ hugely, but as someone with a sibling and child both diagnosed with HFA, I don’t see a single thing about the man that would raise my antennae.

      • Mata says:

You may well be right, but right now I have to agree with K2 on this one. For many years, I worked with children and adults on all ranges of the autistic spectrum and there’s never been anything about him that set off a bell for me. Could you be more specific about what makes you think he might be on the spectrum? I’m curious now.

    • littlemissnaughty says:

Honestly, I think people go for the mental health issue too quickly these days. Especially when it comes to celebrities. These people live in a weird world where their “eccentricities” are usually indulged or even encouraged. Just look at his wife. She made a career out of it. He could really just be a self-absorbed a**hole who needs constant attention. That’s a character flaw, not an illness.

      • paleokifaru says:

@Littlemissnaughty I completely agree. They are like over indulged children, but worse because they can actually influence other adults and careers. They’ve been told yes so many times that they buy their own hype. And when you consider that in many cases that’s also been after they’ve been rejected for a long stretch, before they make it big, that’s got to amplify the negative character traits.

      • QQ says:

Agree, it’s a f*cking Blood libel on people with mental disorders to trot out mentally ill every time a white guy shoots a school or this a-hole spouts his verbal diarrhea, that said i’m totally about the backlash Black Twitter is giving him, richly deserved, I hope his album ( I’m assuming Titled : The Last Of my P*ssyazz) goes double Cardboard, not even Aluminum foil, i’m off Ye’ Island, genius at music or not

      • littlemissnaughty says:

LMAO Oh that album title alone would guarantee gold.

      • Bridget says:

I agree folks. There’s an awful lot of armchair diagnosing going on in general. So-and-so clearly is bipolar. So-and-so must be a narcissistic personality. And on and on. No one ever says that maybe they’re just a spoiled a-hole.

      • Kitten says:

This so damn much. It’s like people have never met an eccentric person before.

I have close friends with mental illness and I’ve had a few mentally-sound friends who act crazy all the time and there is a WORLD of difference between the two.

      • Josefina says:

This, so much this. Kanye’s is just a twitter-happy douchebag. Let’s not excuse his behavior on anything but his horrible attitude.

      • Emily C. says:

I agree so much. Kanye’s just a jerk — even if he has a mental illness, that doesn’t mean it’s responsible for his bad behavior.

And I’ve seen this happen to so many people, gossip-site level celebrity or not. They become successful, whether that’s writing bestsellers or merely becoming important in a small online community. They surround themselves with sycophants. They lose all contact with reality. There’s a change in personality and outlook, but not a mental illness.

This is one reason it’s so important to talk regularly with people with whom we disagree, even if it can be enraging. The alternative is an extremely slippery slope.

      • paranormalgirl says:

SOOO agree. As a psychiatrist, I come across mental illness and disorders every day. Not every erratic or eccentric person is mentally ill. My personal (not professional) opinion is that Kanye West is a guy who has been told way too many times that he is a special genius snowflake. And he buys into his own hype. He’s not mentally ill, just a giant douchecanoe with a tremendous ego.

      • hehe says:

I think that people might jump to it too quickly, but that celebrities are a special case in which it is actually more likely, especially if they came to fame before hitting 30. The sheer screwed upness of fame can really cause problems for someone who has a slight predisposition for something but might otherwise be fine.

      • Jwoolman says:

But Kanye was in a very serious car accident. It’s possible he has some brain damage from that. Some have speculated frontal lobe damage because he seems to have so little impulse control. He sometimes really sounds manic to me, and I’ve seen that in person with a diagnosed family member. People who remember him from before that would have to say whether he’s always been this way or if it came after the accident.

Or, as my aunt always said, “you don’t change as you get older, you just get more like yourself”….

    • Marianne says:

I dont think he’s crazy either. He has a huge Ego though. Narcissistic.

    • lesbastardsmiserables says:

I kind of thought after the last twitter thing with Amber Rose & Wiz Khalifa that maybe he was drinking or on something, it all reminded me a lot of when Courtney Love would go on her drugs binge twitter rampages.

      • Petee says:

Exactly.Thats why I am always posting he is on some sort of stimulant. In the Daily Mail pictures he looks like he had been parting(Nice term for doing drugs)Couple cocaine or speed with alcohol and you will have one crazy person on your hands.

    • Jiff says:

I think he could be mentally ill. I don’t know.

    • Mgsota says:

Every “A” list celebrity has their ego stroked, told they walk on water and so on but most of them don’t act like this guy. So I don’t buy the “he’s just an entitled jerk” theory. Obviously I wouldn’t know for sure, but imo his behavior seems like there is something more going on. Maybe drugs.

    • mila says:

I agree. I have been saying that for a while now. He has some serious issues. Or he is playing a mental patient very well…

  2. RandomGirl says:

He needs to pull a Beyoncé and let someone speak on his behalf. He’s just giving merit to Obama’s statement that he’s a jackass. I use to enjoy Kanye’s music, Graduation was the last album I bought. Lately I can’t stand the guy. His ignorance is getting in the way of his talent. He’s needs to go away from the spotlight and come back when he’s sorted himself out. But that’s not going to happen because lately it seems like he thrives off of drama.

    • Josefina says:

Agreed, 120%. He’s not even funny. He should close twitter and never speak un public.

      • saras says:

I agree he needs to STFU and go sit in the corner for a long time out! Scary he has a daughter. He and the K’s need to go away for a while…

    • Lizzie McGuire says:

He needs Beyonce to send him one of her handlers to speak on his behalf. Idk what’s wrong with him but this was is bad, completely ignorant about the case. I’m glad people on twitter were giving him sh-t for this. How long before Kim K will reach out to the victims just like she did with Amber Rose?

    • bluhare says:

And doesn’t he have a record dropping soon? Like this week? No such thing as bad publicity, right?

    • Tiffany :) says:

Honestly, I think he is JEALOUS of Beyoncé. He doesn’t know how to hype an album like she does. All he does is tantrum. He doesn’t have the restraint or patience to strategize like B.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

        Jealousy and maybe envy?

It’s clear he wants some kind of celebrity dynasty and that Jay Z and Beyonce are people he both admires and kinda hates of (he even dissed them in a song). Especially since with the Kylie/Puma stunt I think a part of him is deeply frustrated that he’s not worshipped the way J and B are.

      • Bridget says:

I totally agree. And I think he thought that marrying Kim K was going to help take him to that next level, the way B and Jay did. Which, obviously hasn’t happened.

  3. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Is it supposed to be a joke, or is he serious?

    • Lurker says:

No idea. Maybe it’s neither, and he’s just tweeting anything he can think of to get hype for the new album?

There’s nothing scarier than an idiot who believes they’re a genius, y’know?

    • noway says:

Who knows maybe he is one of those innocent until proven guilty people, but forgot to say the last part. I can kind of understand that comment, but why anyone is surprised that Kanye would say something ridiculous and out of left field is beyond me. Really what does he have to do with Cosby. Most celebrities unless asked try to stay away from that with a ten foot pole, as there really is nothing good that can come from getting involved in that conversation. The guy constantly seems to stick his foot in it.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Well he does reference Cosby and the rape allegations in one of his songs from the album apparently, so who knows.

Just like with the Wiz and Amber Rose tweets where he went off his handle he’s prob half mad about something else and when he wakes up two days later he’ll offer an apology without even knowing what’s hapoening.

  4. Mia V. says:

He’s turning out to be the worst Kardashian.

  5. Aarika says:

He’s just trying to garner publicity for his new album. It’s just manufactured drama. Why would he be randomly tweeting this? Did Cosby have a court date or something? He know this would get people talking and that’s why he did it.

    • Aussie girl says:

I agree that he’s just trolling and trying to gain attention & publicity to hype up he’s album.

    • Bridget says:

It’s because Janice Dickinson’s defamation suit was thrown out.

      • Aarika says:

Thanks Bridget. I still think it’s a publicity stunt. The buzz around his new album is really not that great. He needs all the attention he can get especially after Beyoncé.

      • Kitten says:

Ahhhh, ok. Thanks for that update.
So I guess the word of 49 other women means nothing to Yeezy huh?

      • Bridget says:

It’s the kind of statement that just makes him look like an idiot that can’t read an entire story. Like Ashton Kutcher tweeting about Joe Paterno, you know? Not only is the statement wrong, but you clearly didn’t even read anything beyond the headline.

Kanye just has the aura of a sinking ship. His grandiose proclamations, his sad fashion collection, everything he says about Kim… it just comes across as desperate for relevance. When you can’t let your work speak for itself it makes all of us think that it’s not very good.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Because he mentions Cosby and the allegations of rape in one of the upcoming songs from the album.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Does he imply that Cosby is innocent in the song, if you know?

      • Kitten says:

That’s what I want to know, GNAT.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

No clue ladies. Before I hopped on Celebitchy I saw a post on a different website about this stupid tweet and they said, “This is not the first time Kanye has referenced Cosby and the rape allegations.” and then had an excerpt of some lyrics.

Tbh, a part of me wouldn’t be surprised if he does think Cosby was innocent if only to be a contrarian. He seems like the type to want to violently go left when everyone is going right, even if that left leads him right off a cliff.

    • swak says:

He is also lost his bid last week to dismiss his case in Pennsylvania. He’ll go on trial there. That’s one of the reasons he wanted the Janice Dickinson suit dropped – he/his lawyers have to concentrate on PA.

      • noway says:

Not sure about that, for one thing civil lawyers and a criminal lawyers are not usually the same people. Also, still a couple of appeals and the issue on whether the testimony from the deposition can be used in the criminal trial. Yes they won that the plea wasn’t enforceable, but they still could lose on the deposition being admitted, and if that happens doubt the DA will have a case. Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but it is far from getting ready for a jury.

      • swak says:

@noway – it’s what I read on one of the sites. Not an opinion from me.

  7. Zapp Brannigan says:

Didn’t he say Tyga was right to “get in there early” when asked about Tyga and Kylie, so why is this a surprise. I am starting to think he has issues other than trolling people for attention.

    • Splinter says:

Ha, he probably doesn’t have a title.
He just chose some random letters and now is waiting for someone to come up with a fresh idea. This person then will be announced the winner and Kanye will get the title for free, no?

      • Belle Epoch says:

        SPLINTER that is brilliant!

Some of the TLOP suggestions here are pretty great.

  10. Pixi says:

TLOP is the sound his sh!t makes when it hits the water in the bowl…

  11. Meandyou says:

He’s been trained well by the Kardashians. Any publicity is good and as long as people keep talking about you, you can sell them crap and they’ll still buy it. Kanye doesn’t make crap for the most part but after the Superbowl and so many other artists coming out with new albums in a short space, he may be feeling a little competitive and left out. No one is excited to know what he’s putting out, meanwhile people are losing their shit over Beyonce. He usually doesn’t sound competitive with women, but the lack of attention is killing him. So what can he do to make people pay attention, any attention? Say something controversial without even rationalizing why he thinks Cosby is innocent. He’s a jackass and gets tolerated a lot because he writes random s**t in caps and for some reason people think thats cute. He’s a self absorbed idiot and a douchebag. I can’t stand him.

    • Josephine says:

What I find interesting is that he talks a lot about racism, but he doesn’t use his fame or money to help anyone but himself. He is so obsessed with what he perceives as his lack of opportunities or respect that he doesn’t realize that he has completely squandered his huge platform to do some good in the world. He could be launching the career of young designers, or young singers, but he just can’t get past the whining about himself. I absolutely disrespect someone who can’t move past his own head at his age, and who has to engage in pre-teen antics for fame. Marrying into that family and taking up their trolling strategy really has sunk any respect he built for himself.

      • Decorative Item says:

Totally agree! Once you receive that kind of wealth, (AKA: power) giving back should be a priority. Well, at least it would be for a decent person.

      • Kitten says:

Exactly. He really only cares about racism insofar as how it pertains to him and his perceived injustices, some of which may be true and others of which are complete figments of his imagination.

      • lucy2 says:

That’s a really good point. It’s a shame when people with that kind of money and influence don’t do anything to make things better. Wouldn’t you love that opportunity? There are so many things he could be doing.

      • noway says:

Not a big Kanye fan, because I think his ego is just too much, but not sure you can say he does little charitable work with his money or influence. He set up an organization that originally was named after him and then his mom to help with student drop out rates. Now he did close the foundation after having trouble with management, since his Mom was part of the original management but she died. He set up a new organization, DondaHouse in Chicago, that offers music education to poor youths. Apparently his mother was a college professor, hopefully the grandchildren inherit that grandmoms desire for education. In addition, he was also a vocal advocate about Hurricane Katrina, and has hosted telethons and concerts along with still giving money to help rebuild the area. He is also a major donor for Doctors without Borders and the Common Ground Foundation among others. He actually seems fairly philanthropic. Just because you don’t hear about someone’s charity work doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, especially considering he is so well known for his crazy antics and comments. I don’t think a lot positive would get through either way. Also, doesn’t change that his twitter comment is ridiculous. I think for some Twitter should just be banned.

      • Josephine says:

@ noway — I’m not talking about giving away money, which most wealthy people do, if for no other reason than the tax break. I’m talking about using his public platform, his voice, to do some good. Hurricane Katrina was 10 years ago, and he doesn’t consistently support any project. He talks nonstop about all the “barriers” in his very privileged world, but doesn’t seem to care much about the real barriers people face every day, barriers that maybe he could do something about. My point is that having risen so high in the world, it would be nice to see him lift someone else up instead of constantly focusing on how HE should move even higher, and how no one appreciates HIS genius. But given his new family, it is not at all surprising to me that he cannot focus beyond himself.

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Yup. It drives me up the wall when people say he’s so concerned about black issues. He started off well and I think a lot of his original music intelligently targeted unique issues but lately it’s all just devolved into ego-stroking and name dropping.

He doesn’t care to support black bsuiness because he even admits that they’re lesser in his eyes that white companies that barely want to work with him (although lately I can’t blame them).

  12. NewWester says:

First the Twitter dust up with Wiz and Amber, now this statement about Bill Cosby. I am sure there are other examples of off the wall comments made by Kanye over the years. You know Demon Mother is making notes of his behaviour and putting it in her war chest. If he steps out of line or the Kardashians tire of him. All his statements will be used to portray him as a unstable man who should not have custody of his children if the West marriage breaks down.

    • Mia V. says:

Kris must be really pissed he blew Kylie’s contact with Puma and made her loose 10% and it will be a matter of time before they get rid of Kanye like they get rid of ALL men in their lives.

      • NewWester says:

Demon Mother let slip a few details in that interview she did recently that things are not all rosy with Kanye. She is laying the groundwork for a epic hatchet job on Kayne by the Kardashian Destruction Team(aka TMZ)

  13. Erinn says:

Is it bad that I’m surprised that he said “please” in his texts? Because my bar is set so low for Kanye that basic politeness is a pleasant surprise.

There are SO many people who genuinely believe this is all just a conspiracy to take Cosby down because he got too ‘big for his britches’.

    • Aussie girl says:

Ha!!! I completely thought the same thing. Points for manners.

    • I Choose Me says:

Right? Part of the reason I think is that we (black people) have so few icons and people simply do not want to accept that Bill Cosby is not Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable, that the man is not the character he played. So they will continue to ignore, deflect and engage in mental calisthenics in order to convince themselves that their hero is not a monster.

      • Decorative Item says:

The damage Cosby did to the women was horrid but he also devastated the entire African American community. So many levels of pain in this story.

      • Kitten says:

        I get it, you know?

TBH, my first gut-reaction to the initial accusations against Cosby was “No way”. Of course, I was ignorant and didn’t know how far back the accusations went. I still find it difficult to accept because I adored him so much growing up…but the fact remains that 50 women are not lying.

      • swak says:

@Kitten, I think at first we all said “No way”. No one wants to believe that. But as more and more women came forward it was obvious he was not so innocent as he portrays himself to be.

      • claire says:

I guess what surprises me is other people’s surprise at it all. The rumors have been going on for decades about him drugging women and being a sleaze. I have friends who had family members work the mansion back in the day and if you ask them, (years ago) about celebs there, the stories about him were always about how you should stay away, that he’s a creep, drugs people.

      • Otaku fairy says:

My gut reaction was also “No way”, even though I was careful to keep that to myself. It’s always shocking to find out that someone who seems like a harmless, decent human being is something awful.

      • Lady D says:

“The rumors have been going on for decades” I had never heard a rumour about Bill Cosby and I knew about him for decades. My reaction also was no way. However, when I heard 50 women with the same story it made me think those 50 are probably 10% of that monster’s victims.

    • paolanqar says:

That is probably the only form of politeness he knows.

    • Jwoolman says:

It’s a tragedy for all those actors on the Cosby show also. They should be proud of their good work, but this casts a pall over all of it and loses them any residuals they might have if it is less likely to be used in syndication as a result. I imagine the same is true for the Seventh Heaven cast.

  14. I Choose Me says:

Kanye is a troll who’s been let out from under his bridge for too long.

  15. Nancy says:

Yesterday Kris Jenner indicated Kanye was a genius. Maybe he’s in the midst of curing cancer or figuring out how to put Donald Trump on mute or maybe he is, in fact, an effen moron.

And er…isn’t Hulk Hogan racist? Or did Kanye not get that memo?

  18. mindydopple says:

No mention of the Kylie tweets?? I just searched it and rumors were that Kylie was offered a million dollar Puma deal and apparently Kanye was mad? He tweeted don’t divide the family?? She’s on Yeezy’s team? She must be pissed if he messed with her money like that, especially since his last show was all panty hose and oversized ragged clothing. At least Puma is actual clothes, and she could have been associated with Rhianna since she’s their new fashion director.

    • Christin says:

I skimmed an article about him sending tweets slamming the offer as a ‘measly million dollars’. I can’t make sense of his ramblings, but someone thought he was mad because she could not wear his magical clothing line due to exclusivity or something.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

How dare they offer someone close to him money for something he already does. Only Yeezy’s shall be advertised in the Kardashian household!

    • Mia V. says:

He’s probably scared Kylie would sell more shoes than he does.

  19. paolanqar says:

Karma is indeed a bitch. Kim is now the one embarrassed by him instead of the other way around.

His ‘genius’ is not so big to overshadow his stupidity. Time to step off the keyboard and deactivate ANY form of social network he uses.

  20. lilacflowers says:

He wants Farrakhan and Hulk Hogan in the same place? The man is a cretinous moron.

  21. Christin says:

I love how in the picture it’s just him in the studio. Yeah sure, like there aren’t 50 other people just out of the shot waiting to get back to the business of writing, producing and performing on “his” album. Credit where credit is due though, he will probably be the one to chose the picture of himself for the cover.

  26. Tiffany27 says:

So I see he had to do something since Beyonce pretty much shut down everything over the weekend. So he decided to be an a** and post that Bill Cosby tweet.
I imagine things have been hard for him since his mother passed, but I think it’s time to stop allowing the mental illness excuse. He’s just an a**hole. The man is a narcissistic, misogynistic a**hole. Period.

Also he has some issues with “women trapping men” so I could totally see him being on board with the Bill Cosby is innocent train.

He needs to get medicated and STFU.

I thought it was funny at first but sorry that is too far. This dude drugs and rapes 50+ women and any fool who has the audacity to cosign him publicly gets cut off from my coins for life.

“Kanye West tweets ‘Bill Cosby Innocent’ because he’s absolutely an idiot”

    This is news?

  31. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

The problem is people keep thinking he’s funny with his little tantrums until he isn’t. His fans keep lowering the bar for him and he keeps dutifully responding because in his twisted mind he’s a genius.

He slutshames – and people give him a pass. Now I guess he’s done something vaguely shocking and people are acting like this was the first horrifying thing he’s said. Okay.

Next week he’ll say something else graphic and disgusting and still have people laughing till he goes too far.

    • Josefina says:

THIS. This whole “so bad it’s good” mentality is starting to worry me. Heck, the Kardashians owe their whole fortune to that. How can people hace such low standards?

Idiots are not meant to be celebrated. A huge, HUGE idiot is running for POTUS now. That’s about enough celebration of idiots for a couple of centurias.

    • Saks says:

Exactly. The guy is an idiot, he has always been. People used to give him a pass saying things like “well thats typical Kanye”, “he can say those things because he is so talented”… I’m happy that he is showing his true colours and people are finally seeing him for what he is, a thirsty overvalued sexist douchebag.

  32. NGBoston says:

How is anyone surprised by this level of ignorance?? Oh, that’s right. At least CB’ers are not.

It does piss me off though that he uses his social media to try and feign FALSE INNOCENCE to his followers for a man he does not even know. There have been years of abuse and I guess we shall just have to continue to take solace in the fact that Bill Cosby’s legacy is ruined and shall forever be in the shitter. He is more than an embarrassment and his old man “i’m legally blind” and need a cane act on the way to court is pathetic to watch.

Kanye’s FITB Ass needs to stop spewing this BS and keep the King’s said Arse on his porcelain throne since this is where this kind of CRAP belongs.

In the meantime, we’ll just keep flushing.

  33. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Kanye West writes as if you were communicating with a five year old entirely through text.

    “every awesome wrestler.”

What the hell does an assistant do with that? Google ‘every awesome wrestlers’? Or send a bottle and binky for Kanye just in time for nappy?

  34. Jessie says:

    Thoughts on Kanye.

People keep saying he’s just trying doing it to promote the album.

But why is everything he does for attention drenched in misogyny? Please explain? Can he not think of something outrageous to say that isnt misogny.

What if a major artist tweeted homophobic things for attention, to sell an album? Would we then say oh he’s just doing to promote an album ? No the press would majorely call them out. Why is it that we don’t take women hating as seriously as homophobia or racism?
This is a man who said tyga was smart to get in there early with underage Kylie. And people still gave him a pass.
Another thought, do people really think this man is sober? His rants certainly remind me of typically drug fuelled rants.

    • Otaku fairy says:

His tweet is not okay and Kanye has definitely proven himself to be misogynistic before this, but I also think the Cosby tweet was done for attention. That doesn’t excuse it though (I’m fine with attention seeking from these entertainers until they decide to be harmful) and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he really is on team “Bill Cosby is innocent”, considering other stuff he has said.

  35. Mar says:

  41. kri says:

Conspiracy time. I think Kanye is feeling so pissed and marginalized after all that loss to Amber last week, and then Bey goes and annihilates ANY press for Kanye. Not too many are going to care about this new record. His outrageous and NOT clever tweets/behavior are catching up with him. It’s about damn time. He keeps sinking lower all the time. First cheering Tyga, then dragging a toddler, now tweeting for an old rapist. Dude, you aren’t losing it. You lost it a loooong time ago.

  42. word says:

He does it for attention. He is playing right out of the Kardashian hand book. Say or do something that will make people’s blood boil and then quickly advertise your next clothing collection, album, photoshoot, or show. It’s all about timing. He thinks the public is stupid. Why would he want Hulk Hogan there? Does everyone not remember the “n” word video??? How did those texts get out? Did he tweet them himself?

  43. HeyThere! says:

He has a daughter for goodness sake! I would think he would be more careful about defending a serial rapist who drugged his victims.

  44. One2 says:

At this point im fully expecting Kanye to say he’s not black and wants to join the KKK. I think he needs to be medicated, he has ZERO impulse control and doesnt understand cues. I bet Kim is seceratly plotting a way out.

  45. BB says:

Why does Kanye always tweet like he has 10% battery power left? Also that whole tweet exchange made me chuckle. Make sure you invite all the awesome wrestlers?? And the “invited Michael, he declined” text was hilarious and now people are making crying Jordan memes about it. I have no idea why he wrote that about Cosby, who knows what goes on in his mind. I don’t think Kanye is mentally ill at all, just an egomaniac who is really, really weird.

  46. word says:

    T.L.O.P.

    The Love Of People.

Which he has none of actually…so how ironic.

  47. me says:

Only losers name drop like that. I mean his tweets are so stupid…talking about all the people he is begging to come to his show ! Also I don’t think T.L.O.P means anything. He’s making it seem like he knows, but really he’s waiting for someone to tweet him something that would make sense and then be like “yup that’s it !”. I also think he acts “crazy” just for attention…he needs it right now. I hope someone shows up, sits in the front row, and holds up a sign with Amber and her finger.

Lastly, if Kanye is so against anything that’s not Yeezy, why does Kim wear Nike shows when she does her gym pap strolls? If Kylie was offered a deal by Puma, she should take it ! I’m actually disgusted Puma would want Kylie as the face of their product. She earned her body, not by being athletic, but by getting injections. Please.

    • Kitten says:

“She earned her body, not by being athletic, but by getting injections.”

True, but Puma hasn’t been considered a “real” athletic brand for quite some time now. Puma’s basically devolved into lifestyle/fashion apparel over the past 15, 20 years. I don’t know anyone who plays soccer or tennis or who runs or does any athletic activity wearing Puma sneakers.
So as much as it pains me to admit, she’s probably a better choice for Puma than a real athlete.

      • me says:

Oh really? I hadn’t noticed that about Puma. I did notice Adidas doing a lot of “street wear” but not Puma. Interesting. Yet Adidas is still very huge in the athletic world.

  48. Yepisaidit says:

I knew something was definitely wrong with him when he praised nasty Tyga for “getting in early” with that Jenner kid/Kanyes sister in law.

  49. tw says:

    I CANNOT W/ THIS FOOL.

  50. AtlLady says:

I’m just looking forward to NY Fashion Week. Will he try to show us the same crap for the third year in a row and still think it is “cutting edge”?

    • Lisa says:

Ahh, you mean the poo-brown nylon made into torn sweatshirts, leggings and sheer tops. Cutting edge, indeed. I wonder if Kim will show up in her poo-brown skin-tight onesie this year. Maybe Anna Wintour will be wearing one of his “creations”. Ugh! Stop feeding his delusions, Anna!!

      • word says:

Also, since Kim has made it very clear that the reason she has been M.I.A is because she was enjoying maternity leave and not hiding because she doesn’t want anyone to see her weight gain, I wonder if she’ll come dressed showing off her body or covering it up? My guess is she’ll be wearing a huge cape or very large floor length coat.

  51. KellySunshine says:

    Ugh… “Yeezy” makes me sick.
Proclaiming the innocence of Cosby is crazy at this point, he literally has DOZENS of women accusing him of rape…

What if, God forbid, his daughter or even his wife is ever a victim of some nut who gets off on drugging and having sex with his victims. Would Yeezy be proclaiming that person’s innocence?

  52. anna says:

almost every male today on the front page of celebitchy today is a dirty scoundrel lol-Cavill, Depp, Elda, and Yeezy

  53. Amelie says:

Yeah I no longer just think he’s just an idiot. There is clearly something wrong with him–from unsolicited outbursts (stealing the mic from Taylor Swift, accusing Bush of hating black people, to all the nonsensical rantings on Twitter and all his concerts) to just bizarre behavior (singling out concertgoers to see why they weren’t standing only to highlight that the fan was in a wheelchair). I don’t think this is some giant piece of performance art. I have no idea if he has a mental illness and I don’t care. I just want him to go away.

  57. LouLou says:

  58. ana says:

It’s telling that Kim is with a man who is so clearly limited in his capacity to think or understand women — let alone right or wrong.

This creep must actually hate women just as much as Cosby clearly does. In Kanye’s world — women are beneath him.

  59. Crispy says:

He is so delusional at his own fame and hype that he genuinely thinks he is THE IT BOY for everything, from fashion to music to politics. I am seriously anticipating the day he falls off the face of earth into obscurity. And when he does, pls jesus let him take the kardashian/jenner clan with him.
